Food was very delicious and reasonably priced! The Molcajete served in the hot stone bowl was exceptional!

First time there. Took the waitress' advice on what to eat and enjoyed every bit of it! Would recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food!

Got delivery for The bandeja paisa, it was like reciving a columbian Christmas dinner! So good and so fresh.nice portions! Thank you. Quality and bang for your dollar, is hard to find somedays in Calgary. Keep it up.

Nice little spot for a variety of Latin dishes. Really liked the tacos, will definitely return and try some different dishes.

Ordered take out and was very pleased! Delicious food. The pozole was excellent and the empanadas were some of the best that I've had, the dough it's light and perfect texture. Chicken enchiladas were very tasty, but would prefer if they were rolled vs.folded taco style so they did not fall apart. Will definitely return and try some of the other dishes!

We enjoyed an excellent Valentines dinner there. The service was great and the food was very tasty, we had the Paella and the Enchiladas. Several groups ordered the Hot Pot and that is something that we want to try next

Quite good Mexican food & drink… Made us feel like we were in Mexico except for the snow outside.

I just ate dinner with my fiance and our waitess was terrible. I am vegetarian and wanted to order fajitas with no meat and I am super easy I just wanted any option with no meat. Our server told me "no" there is no option. I asked if it is mixed or proportioned.she said NO. I asked then why can't the meat be substituted for anything at all and she said it cannot be served without meat ‍️

All I could think about while eating another dish that was not what I wanted was the fajitas that I wanted and I asked another server why it couldn't be done and he said it 100% it is possible I am so disappointed I would go back to have him as my server but honestly feel so upset that I was ever treated the way she treated me that I don't think I'd ever return.

Great food, we come for the molecajete Friendly (and bilingual) service, lovely atmosphere, well done!

I came today and just complained and server was rude, came out of restaurant saying the tip was not good enough asking for more saying the Canadian service dose not like to serve Latin customers as they do not tip good enough.

The issue with service is due to how owners treat their staff (poorly). As a result they have a high turnover.

Amazing experience, awesome food and wonderful service. Everything was flavorful and filling, from the crispiness of the empanadas to the savoury steak. Our server never gave us her name, be but she was absolutely wonderful, really nice and gave the best service despite how busy it was, definitely one of the best services I've received. I believe she has really white skin and blue-green eyes, kudos to her

My favourite! Bandeja Paisa. Very good service and delicious food! Consider that there are a few parking spots only so you might have to park in the street around.

Went in for the first time on a date and this place is amazing for the food! Top quality and very fresh ingredients.

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service could of been a lot better in my honest opinion.

Have been coming to LA casa for years have been one my favorite places for Mexican cuisine, although the service have always been slow the food is worth the wait. This last visit was particularly bad due to the long wait and BAD service, there were numerous items on the menu that were not offered or out for the day. Had to wait very long to pay. Parking is not a thing. Disappointed may be last time we visit.

The food was below standards and service was very bad. We clearly asked for no pork and they still decide to give us pork in 1 of our meals. We also asked for no beans in a meal due to allergies yet still were given beans. The worst restaurant in Calgary.

You have to have the pupusas revueltas and horchata the steak platter is delicious…. The fried ice cream is delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

First time here, read some good reviews, and loved the variety of dishes. Service was excellent and being a family restaurant really shined through.
The food quality was very good and the dish flavours sung of Latin America!
They are located is such a unassuming place with actual parking spots. Nice little place to bring your guests (or a date) and surprise them with an authentic experience.

Food is amazing! Spending time in South America and having a Colombian wife, we were looking for a place that was authentic, provided good service and of course delicious food. La Casa Latina checked every box.
My wife loves it for the authentic food which reminders her of home. The taste, presentation and dishes make you feel like you are actually in that country eating at a local restaurant. They definitely did their homework to replicate local dishes.
The staff are friendly and passionate about the food they prepare and serve. A hit with the Calgary Latino and lovers of Latino food, so the place tends to be busy. You can just drop in but reservation are also available.
Parking is very limited so plan for using the paid lot across the street or find a close street that allows parking.
Highly recommended.

Wanted to eat pupusas and they were delicious! All the food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return!

The second star is solely for the guacamole and chips which was delish, the rest However was a major disappointment. The service was slow (yet they were friendly) but the food was very bland. There was no spice or hot sauce offered and by time the server came back to us we were finished. The rice tastes like instant rice and the flavor left a lot to be desired.

As always great food and service! I OUR molcajete was delicious! And the fried ice cream dessert was great!

We had our NYE dinner here. The food and staff were nothing short of amazing with attention to details, making our experience a memorable one. We had the calamari and chips & salsa to begin, then a steak & shrimp molcajete which was absolutely mind-blowing. The fried ice cream for dessert was the best way to end off 2021. We are 110% coming back here.

The food is tasty and the place is nice. I give them 4 stars because I think the appetizers are a little overpriced. However, the dishes flavours are outstanding and ingredients are very fresh.

The pupusas are awesome. The burrito is delicious and plentiful. And the word at the table was that the mango margarita was superb.

I will definitely return. Calgary's best Mexican and Latin cuisine.

Hector was a perfect Host, keeping the restaurant open for only us since we had travelled quite a distance just to try his restaurant! My wife and I had the restaurant to ourselves, and Hector, the Owner, and a certified Red Seal Chef, cooked for us! What a treat! The food was unbelievably good. We had the Molcajete, which was INSANELY GOOD (Steak & Shrimp). Next time we're coming back for the Fajiita's. Thank You Hector for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Great food, very nice atmosphere for families with young children.

The service was a bit slow and unorganized but we were a large table so it’s never easy.

The restaurant and the people attending were very nice. The bandeja paisa was good. However I would like a better chicharon like it is supposed to be, thicker with more Meat and juicier as this one was very skinny and dry.

This was a lovely place. Really polite and friendly service. The flavors were great, but very mild. The margaritas were yummy, but the mojito was not great. Overall, great atmosphere and food. I would recommend!

The food looked great but there was no flavour, the meat was way too chewy and the rice was old and getting sour. No matter how great the show looks, if your food doesn’t taste good it was all for nothing. It was also quite disappointing there is no menu for kids, aren’t they welcomed? Never coming back here again.

An absolute gem in Calgary. Honestly the best Mexican/Latin American food I have ever had. I was so surprised that such a low‐key restaurant had such amazing food. I will be going back again and again!

Quick service and very casual. Big servings for a good price. Chill atmosphere and nice servers. Got the veggie burrito and a Michelada. Lots of authentic drinks.

Absolutely amazing latin american food! I was blown away at how such a modest looking restaurant from the outside was able to make some of the best food I've ever had. Also very friendly staff, keep it up!

The food here is amazing. It was all so good and they have the right amount of options to choose from. Definitely authentic latin food. The portion was perfect, you really get every penny’s worth. The price point is good too, not too expensive. The location is downtown with good parking available. I already look forward to coming to eat here again soon.

Not much to look at, but the food makes up for it ten times over! I had the steak fajitas and they were to die for, the mango made it taste so authentic. I also had a glass of Cab Sav which complimented the food beautifully. Let it be known my stomach was happy.

So unbelievably tasty! My partner and I had the patacones con guacamole, tacos al pastor and a veggie burrito. Everything was incredible and the service was friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back for sure!

Must try the popusas and the banana-nutella dessert (choco congo or something?). I'll be craving those for days! But everything was delicious, and the service is the best!

Great family owned Latino restaurant in Calgary! The service is really good and you won't be disappointed with the food! Very authentic and very flavourful! Try the pupusas and yucca frita con chicharron!

Awesome service and great tasting food! We were a large group and tried different menu items. Every plate was beautifully presented and tasted perfect!
