Worst customer service ever! The lady with blonde hair, around her 30s (I think it was the manager), was really mean. I asked for assistance respectfully but was met with a very rude response. Not only was she dismissive, but she also seemed uninterested in resolving my concerns. It's disappointing when you expect professional service and instead encounter such unprofessional behavior. This experience has definitely affected my view of this establishment, and I would think twice before returning or recommending it to others. Customer service is crucial, and unfortunately, it was severely lacking in this instance.

If you lack the skills to be an effective manager, I believe it might be best for you to consider stepping down from the position. Good management is not only about overseeing operations but also about providing quality customer service, displaying professionalism, and demonstrating leadership qualities. Unfortunately, the attitude and behavior I encountered fell far short of these standards. Would not recommend to anyone.

A massive selection (especially online) and very good customer service! If you have any issues they work to fix it right away.

Why are the employees so damn rude here?
Plus, I've seen a number of the exact same clothing items at the Winners on Stephen Ave for less than half the price they were at Simons.

My fiancé and I were shopping here this evening and were being treated as if we were trying to steal. (I used to work at this location so I know how protocol is for that kind of stuff). We both got fitting rooms, tried on our stuff and I left my “yes” and “no’s” with the employee at the counter. I then let them know my fiancé needed a different size in the pants she had tried on and I asked if I could grab them (because I assumed they would have to grab them but that was the easiest way to ask for a different size for her). My fiancé and I were also purchasing sweaters that were the same style and I had tried on a small and she had tried on a medium. I then decided to go try on the medium size in the sweater and the employee rushes from the desk by the jeans/fitting room to the area by the stairs to customer service to let me know they have my stuff on hold up front (which I knew and that’s a decent walk *just* to let me know they have my stuff on hold). Then when we finally have the sizes we want and go to pay, they tell me they didn’t think I was purchasing my other stuff even though other peoples stuff was still there. (It had been maybe 5-10 minutes since I had given them my two “yes” items). Seems odd to put it away or take it somewhere when we obviously were continuing to browse the store. No one is going to spend $50-70 dollars on an item they’re unsure of the sizing for… Not all customers who take their time browsing or try a different size on last minute are trying to steal. We tried on the clothes, handed ALL items to them… I never leave reviews and I understand people are just doing their jobs but it doesn’t feel good to be treated like you’re stealing when you’re about to spend almost $300…

Sam the store manager lady was rude and unprofessional.she rudely interrupt me while I was inquiring if there is sales going on @ simon store.i have been shopping there for many years. She is not helpful. I never had issues before.

Asked for clarification of a price and the associate I asked was quite rude.
Wouldn’t recommend shopping here if you have any questions otherwise you are just trash to them.

Devante in the suit shop was extremely helpful and efficient in helping us find a suit! We were also informed that they could do the alterations in a week and it was included in the cost of the suit. Excellent experience!

Yesterday got there to get a new duvet cover, and maybe a couple of shirts. Apparently, it ended up with me getting 13 items on sale. I don’t regret spending $300 in total, but that’s the duvet cover’s cost after all!

This place takes menswear to another level. Take advantage of this full services experience: on-site tailoring, multi level shopping experience not to be missed.

It's okay, Simon's is an odd store. Has some great deals but also carries some weird home decor that is way overpriced. Some items are 30$ when they appear to be made by a kindergarten.

I always see something and I'm like oh that'd be fun to have as it's a cute Christmas decor or some other seasonal decor.only to see its priced way higher than I thought. It'd make sense if the quality of said decor was nice but most things there look cheap.

Other than that, we've found some good deals here but typically order online as the closest location is downtown with no customer parking so it's 9$ just to shop at this overpriced store. Perhaps I'm too old for a store like this.

Had a great shopping experience with supportive Devante and Orlando. They were professional and really supportive in finding the perfect clothes for me. Inclusive space and it’s super appreciated!

Nice clothes, however, don't expect too much service from them. They offered help but seemed to be annoyed when I truly expressed my concerns

One of my favourite sSimons store right in downtown core. Always found the exact top I’m looking for. Definitely will come back again.

Great sales and staff, store is always clean. Layout is strange and can sometimes be confusing, but shop here enough and you'll get used to it.

Love the selection. Always really items on sale for great prices as well. Wish it was open Sundays though.

Always great variety and interesting items to be found. They are upscale without the upscale prices.

I love their home section & the clothes have a lot to choose from. The accessories are great also. Service can be slow but not too bad if not busy.

Men's sizes can go up from XS to 2XL, lots of different brand names and affordable home brands. Service is always fantastic.

Really nice clothing, however most of the women's clothing is geared towards very petite women, which is not the majority, and when I say very petite, I mean that my girlfriend is 150lbs and she can't fit into your guys' biggest jeans (which only go up to a size 30)

I love Simon's and the different brands they offer! Not a huge fan of the quality of their own in house brand- it can be hit or miss, especially home textiles- but they offer some great sales and and nicer higher quality brands, such as Anello!

Simons, not sure what I was expecting when I went there the first time looking for a particular item. The staff were not particularly helpful, as when I asked where I could find the item, it was, "oh it is on this floor" that was it. Spent more time looking than actually finding the item. Found the price rather "high" for the item, and when I started looking at other items, it basically made me decide not to continue shopping there.rather pricey. Covid safety practices in play at this location. Store was not particularly busy. So from that standpoint was in and out of the store in no time.

Various of choices for clothes and accessories. From casual to luxury brands. Location is easy to access. Customer service is what I love the most about this place; the staffs are friendly, professional and helpful.

My sister bought me here for the first time and I was quite impress. The store is huge with variety of selection. Plus all the clothing is well organized and good quality. Will definitely be back here some other time.

Simons always have the casual outfit I’m looking for, plus they have some formal stuff I like but usually I’m here for the tops. The staff are friendly and always help me find the exact thing I’m looking for. Definitely recommend Simons if you want quality casual wear!

Decent, if you're not plus sized. I'm a size XL and unfortunately everything I could find in that size was quite matronly. Adorable clothing but no size freedom. Guess I'll just exercise my way into their size range, lol.

I work in customer service & often shop simply to see ways to better my team. This store is an absolute failure on many levels.
Firstly, ACKNOWLEDGE people.
It could be a simple hello or even eye contact & a smile.
I attempted numerous times to make eye contact with employees who promptly looked away.
The manager on floor at Twik looked me dead in the eye & didnt respond with even a recipocated smile.

Be aware not to judge - you don't know who you're meeting.
I dress down on my day off & was shopping for business casual clothing for work. Don't dismiss those wearing alternative styles as having "no money". It's an expensive lifestyle as much of my clothing is custom & from small Canadian designers.

Work on being more approachable!

I love Simons! They have something for everyone and prices are reasonable. My only issue is the location. It's really hard to get to for those living and working outside of downtown. I can only go on the weekend, but it would be nice to be able to go any day. I mean, both locations in Edmonton are outside of their downtown, so why couldn't they do that here?

Outstanding! Varieties of collection, various price range for every pocket, prompt and customer friendly service be it in store or online. Fashion with home decor all under one roof. Yeah, I can shop here for hours. Shopping at La Maison Simons is extremely satisfying and relaxing for me. Simons at The Core, Calgary is my favourite fashion store in the city!

Great and variety selection, good location, easy to park, and very friendly staffs! One of my favourite shopping place in the city. Especially they have a great selection of Men's dress shirts, pants, suit, and etc! They have a little cafe inside so you can take some coffee break during your shopping:)

Great prices and product but there is little to no service. I spent 20 minutes shopping for a bag and was not addressed once by the male associate.
I sat down on the seats comparing 2 bags I was planning on purchasing, the guy walked by, made eye contact with me, looked away smugly and walked behind the counter (I was literally sitting 6 feet from the counter).
So after a few more minutes of comparing, I walked to the register in the other section and gave them the sale.

This place is bittersweet for me. Get great product but deal with the staff.

Simons always carries the most interesting fashion. You can find many unique brands and clothing items here. What is most impressive is that the staff will always come out from behind the counter and hand you your purchases. This has always been consistent with every staff at Simons. They also have a neat little cafe tucked away on the second floor. Customer service is in the basement and they have superb service. It is always a delight to shop at Simons!

Good store, a lot of clothing to choose from. The staff is nice. The prices can be a bit high though.

I have shopped here regularly since the store has opened, finding items in almost every department, most recently for a couple pairs of jeans and a spring coat for an upcoming trip. Neil was not only quick to provide assistance, but he was also genuinely caring and knowledgeable, sharing tips beyond standard fitting and wash instructions I have received in the past. After asking a few questions he was able to make several recommendations ultimately leading to my purchases this time. I will seek out Neil’s cheerful assistance in the future.

Love this store. Have yet to require anything they carry. Interesting and sometimes useless decor and housewares!:)

Huge store with friendly staff and great stock. Some of the fashion is questionable, but a great range of selection and price points.

Good selection. Really pretty hair accessories! I absolutely Love the music that they play, that alone I would give 5 stars. Sometimes I go through there just so I can listen to the music.

Interesting array of men's wear, some rather nice and some that just boggles the mind. Weirdest layout ever for a store of this type.

The staff is the best and the vibe of the whole store is so amazing. They have a great selection of all kinds of clothing whether it be casual or formal. Always a great experience.

Great selection of house and designer clothing and small household items. This downtown location is 4 floors and really cool. It’s easy to get around in. The store is well lit and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Just a lot of cool clothing and things. There is sale items for a reasonable price and high end clothing that is crazy priced. There is something for everyone. I have shopped at other locations and always enjoyed the experience and ambiance.

I still prefer the Simon's in Edmonton. The layout is much better. This Simon's is sorta like a maze. But it's still a Simon's in Calgary so its better than no Simon's.

Great place to shop, high quality clothing and more and very well priced too. Staff are super helpful, and polite, which is key! Love going there to refresh the wardrobe!

Love the ambience of the store and it is always sooo clean. I shop at Simons almost 2-3 times a week as they bring new items everytime. They have different variety of clothes and carry all price ranges. Their sales are pretty good as well. And omg I love love their home products. Wish their "Home section" was even bigger and that they could carry more of it. List goes on. BEST customer service and staffs compare to all the other retail stores. To me, sometimes it's all that matters is how the store employees are treating you, it kind of shows company's value. Seriously, Other retail stores should learn from Simons. Friendliest staffs everrrr.

I’m a little afraid to go back here now since one of the staff banged on the change room door and shouted at me to get out (@4: 59pm) while I was putting my own clothing on to leave. I’ve worked in retail as a manager and I’ve never rushed customers out the door! Is it Simons policy to force people out so they can close the tills?

Went in looking for a birthday gift found it no problem they cover all price points quality seems good. Start very helpful.

I love Simons! They have a wide variety of items to choose from. They have amazing markdowns and sale items. They have designer item sales every end of season that can make your jaw drop!

Really like this store; they offer a different style of both clothing and home accessories not found in other stores. Prices are reasonable and they have online shopping and store pickup available. Generally the sales associates are friendly and helpful.

Nice little spot for a quick bit of grub while shopping, or working, downtown. Brisket sandwich was great. I'll have to go back and try a few more items off the menu!

Restaurant was a great place to eat lunch. The chicken club was fantastic and the French onion soup was very tasty and great service.
