La Vie en Rose Southcentre Mall

Embarrassing! As I was purchasing a bra I was asked if I needed a bag, I said yes and the cashier said the only bag they have is a large bag and I said I don't have a purse so yes please and she said it's $0.75 and I said I don't have a choice, I'm not walking around the mall with a bra in my hand. So not only did I pay for a paper bag but it was large enough to fit two shoe boxes in and it was one bra.
My question to the owner is why not charge $1.00 for a reusable bag or have the appropriate size bag on hand?

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Rhiannon (sorry if I spelt it wrong) is an absolute gem! She saw I was trying to match a recently purchased bikini top to bottoms in the store and asked me what size I am. Came back 3 minutes later with a perfect match from the back. I used to buy all my swim wear at la vie on rose but have grown out of their tops so I was overjoyed when she was able to help! This is what I call great customer service!

If you are younger white and wearing a hoodie be ready to be followed around this store. My friend and i walked in both white went to the underwear bins where a young Asian women came over told us the deals of the week aka her job then proceeds to stand at the end of the table and watch me for the 15 minutes i was looking thought the underwear my friend went to try something on.the worker was still standing there watching me and only me she wasn't cleaning or organizing the clothes. I had all that i was buying in a visible place so if she was doing her job properly then shed only have to do a quick walk by like most staff are trained to do so people don't feel like they are being accused of stealing. I then went to the changing room where she followed me once again and took my underwear with her while she said quote shell take them to the front so it would be in my hands even tho it was sitting on a visible table for all to see.if this was my staff they would be fired or re trained no one should feel unsafe in a store because of this women i didn't get to finish my shopping because i was so unconformable.on top of all of that 2 of the staff thought it was so funny and were obviously laughing at me when i went back to get her name.the supervisor and younger work were absolutely sweethearts they are the only two that deserve a job.

I had a very unpleasant and stressful encounter with the Manager on the Floor today (she has dark and short hair and wears glasses). I was simply inquiring about my birthday discount because it was my birthday and she was so rude and condescending for no reason. She doesn’t look very happy with her job at all, and also called an employee at the store “uneducated” in front of the other staff and customers. This was very horrible to experience and no human should have to go through this.

Two stars only because the sweet Asian girl working underwear section was amazing. Manager or supervisor on today behind the till with dark long hair is extremely unfriendly, unwilling to help and very short/rude with her tone. I won’t be returning.

Desirae was EXCELLENT and so patient. Very approachable and friendly. Highly recommend her service - she is great with fittings and will work with you. She clearly puts customer needs first and makes you feel warm and welcomed in the store. I will be coming by the Southcentre mall location more often just because of her!

This la vie en rose goes above and beyond to make sure your experience shopping here is awesome, I was looking through some 3 for 10 bins and I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for so I asked an employee and she stopped what she was doing and helped me look through to help me find what I was looking for. I can’t say how many times I walk in and just feel very welcomed, the employees at this location are awesome and I love coming in and taking a look at your store, you guys have so many awesome stuff, I recommend this la vie en rose to anyone who wants to feel welcomed and plus this la vie en rose has so much in stock
10/10 recommend and I will definitely be shopping here again and again

It was my first time getting a real bra. The ladies helped size me up and there was a great sale; buy two, get one free.

After shopping for the first time at La Vie en Rose on March 10th, 2022, I was pleasantly greeted by the wonderful staff. I had to exchange something that I had purchased on-line. I have now found one of my favourite places to shop as the ladies at this location, Jesse, Shyler & Daniella were so helpful and patient. The store was very well organized, prices were excellent & these ladies knew there stuff! Thank you so much for excellent customer service!: D

Staff is extremely unfriendly and won't do anything to help! Every time I needed a different size, I would have to get dressed and go get it myself!
Won't be going back there again!

I realize that they were working on a floor set that day, but I don't feel that is a reasonable excuse for ignoring a customer. I was not approached or greeted at all. I stood waiting in front if the change room for 5 minutes and still had to ask if it was ok to go in. I was told to just pick one. There were garments left in every room from previous customers (I assume). When I came back out, I was not asked about fit or anything.
It was truly a disappointment. I haven't been treated that poorly in a store in a long time and will not be visiting this location again.

Sothcenter la vie en rose excellent service with Melanie. Has lots of patience and does her job with love and kindness thank you to the manager for great training

I love this store. Two things that frustrate me tho:
1. They run out of stock quickly which is unfortunate, finding my size is tough.
2. There til is always malfunctioning. It takes forever to pay for anything.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff.
Was looking for shapewear and my mom asked a question about the item that I was interested in. The worker disgustingly looked her up and down and said "you should probably try it on. " Very unprofessional.

Very friendly service! I've meant to post this for months, but Astrid, who helped my (very indecisive) daughter was so professional, patient and friendly!

Helped me with an annoying return from two separate orders so that was great but had a new girl on staff who was really trying to up-sell me to the point of it being obnoxious.

Was there on Sunday trying to locate something, after I had a bad experience with another place, and I was about to leave the mall until I saw this place so stopped in. The manager and one of the front end girls were incredibly helpful with finding what I needed and were very friendly. Thanks Again for the help!

I was in this store last night to purchase PJs for my daughter for Christmas. The service, or should I say lack of service, was beyond words. I will never set foot in this store again. The store was not busy and there were two sales clerks behind the cash desk. A man came in after I did and he was approached and offered help. I had to go to the cash desk and ask for help, only to be taken to the sample rack - where what I was looking at was NOT on display. The clerk moved a few things around on that rack and left me there. I called the store today to speak to a manager only to be told that both the managers were off today. How does that work? NEVER AGAIN! I will not be recommending that anyone shop there. This store does not deserve a star but have this rating system set up so that a star must be selected in order to post.

I've been to the Southcenter location twice in the past week regarding the same exchange. Both times the sales lady was lovely and helpful when i entered the store, however, when I didn't find anything I wanted, she was very rude, dismissive and even disappeared. The first time, she suddenly had to go on her break, and I was left to wait at the counter until someone else showed up. The second time, it was the same lady with short dark hair on Saturday Jan 5 evening, she was incredible difficult and pushy. She told me I still had until Jan 6 for gift exchanges and I could come back tomorrow. I had looked twice for something to exchange but didn't find anything and just wanted store credit. I don't think its very professional to only offer good service when a customer makes a purchase, sometimes we need exchanges too and deserve the same level of service. Will be visiting the ladies at the Shawnessy store, who are always lovely regardless of what you need.
