The viewpoint is right on the road to Banff. A quick stop offers a snapshot of the upcoming beauty of Banff and surrounding areas.

In the hamlet of Lac des Arcs in Alberta, Canada, you can observe a Cement Plant in another opposite hamlet of Exshaw. This viewpoint offers a perspective from the south side of Bow River to the north side of the Bow River. It's positioned between the Bow River and Highway 1，also known as the Trans - Canada Highway.

Excellent place to stop by and take a few pics.

Tip: Don't stand there, go down, wash your feet, sit on the rocks, enjoy the breeze for a few minutes, then restart your journey. Enjoy!

Beautiful place to pull over on d way to Banff. This spot tends to be windy so bundle up before u leave the vehicle. But it's worth the effort.

This place has a beauty which catches your eyes right away. You just can't miss it. On your way to the be wilderness of banff national park. This place is just hard to miss.

Stopped by for a stretch break during a recent trip to Banff and enjoyed the breathtaking view. There are no visitor amenities here (i.e, restrooms). Just keep driving for another 15 minutes to the town of Canmore.

This was the first lake we can across on our trip and so we were excited to see a lake, but it was nothing special.

Beautiful place. This was my wife's first ever visit to the Rocky mountains in Alberta. Absolutely part of God's country.
