Do not even bother! Save your money and go to the next place, you can find better food in a gas station. Everything comes from the frozen food aisle in the supermarket. Disgusting!
This is a pretty ok restaurant. I went at around noon and it was very busy. The staff seemed somewhat rushed. The menu and food is nothing special. I would say there are better restaurants in the area.
Do yourself a favor and just don’t go there. We were lazy after a day of hiking and decided to go there walking, but any places around would have been better. The service is kind, but the food is just horrible and overpriced. Poor beers’ selection and dirty environment. The only good thing is the pool table and the bar at the other side of the room.
Asked for a NY strip Steak, It came out not tasting like steak. In addition, there was no source or salt or pepper on it. Not sure how long this meat had been stored. Very disoppointed.
Not many places in Lake Louise to eat, so this place was a last minute decision. First, it was very hot. They had a box fan blowing into the restaurant. We wanted something quick and easy so we ordered the burger. It was absolutely disgusting! You could tell from the first bite it was just a frozen (maybe beef) pattie. The kind you buy in a grocery story and put in the microwave. We prayed a few times that night that we wouldn't get sick and have our trip ruined. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was very pleasant.
One advice: don’t go there. When we arrived, compared to the other restaurants we tried in the area which were all full, the room was almost empty. As per the reviews, I didn’t have much expectations on the menu, but nothing was good. The meat has no taste at all, the burgers were a real disaster, I did not know it was possible to ruin a burger that much. Even the employees were unpleasant and always on their phone. We spent too much money for this food and service. Even if the other restaurants are full, don’t go there. It really does not worth it.
Unexpectedly Good. Everyone in our group liked their dishes and ingredients were Fresh. Service was quick, courteous for our early dinner. Location is nice surrounded by mountains and a stream too. But Ambience was just okay with windows on 2 sides.
Oh this place is amazing… in a bad way. I normally don’t leave bad reviews cuz I believe everyone deserves a second chance. However this place is beyond saving point. Food can’t be called as food. Basically the kitchen staff lacks any interest in cooking (or life itself) which make their cooking (if you call reheat frozen food as ‘cooking’) terribly and express their devastation. We ordered what is so called ´chicken fried rice ´ and I can say the rice would be in a much happier place even if they are in the trash bin than this kitchen. They somehow dried out the rice to make it almost unable to swallow and without any flavor. The chicken is not fried, in fact, it was definitely boiled with no salt or pepper, tore in small pieces and then roughly speared on the top of the plate. Not saying that you can’t boil chicken breast but I can’t agree that a ´fried rice ´ should be made this way. You might as well just call it boiled chicken with rice. To make it worse, the price is ridiculous high as $20. Jesus Christ any Chinese restaurant could beat this rice easily with a much more reasonable price. Other dishes such as hamburgers or curry are unbelievable awful as well. We can’t even finish this. And the list goes on…. While my friend went to the bathroom, she discovered that the toilet was dirty and clearly lack of care and has a smell. One of the toilet was blocked with blood and tissues which almost made her throw up. To be honest I can’t believe such place dare to call themselves as restaurant/bar/grill. In fact it’s shocking to me that the place somehow still there after so many bad reviews. It makes you wondering what is kept them going. Lake Louise is such a pretty place and there are way much better places to eat at rather than ruin your day here. We got bad luck as that day most of the restaurants were not open at that time. Please, close this damn thing and find a better purpose to live your life and stop ruin other people’ life or their taste. For god’s sake, thank you!
Allez-y si tout est fermé ou plein ailleurs. C'est dur de faire du riz frit qui ne goûte rien, mais ils y parviennent. En plus les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés.
I don't generally go and post reviews if I have a bad experience, all the reviews that I have given so far was because of terrible experiences, but this one tops all of it. So we were on our vacation and decided to have dinner here. We ordered chicken fried rice and a fried chicken poutine. The expectation was that they would make the dish from the scratch but to our surprise this was clear a frozen store bought dish which they just reheated and served. The chicken bits in the fried rice were past the point of being stale and the poutine was absolute garbage. To top it off, these people didn't really understand the concept of tipping or at least according to me I'm happy to give tip if the service and the food was good, I don't believe in tipping for serving garbage. To our surprise the waitress demanded that we tip and since we didn't want to create a scene we just tipped and left. Truly a horrible experience overall!
This place is hilarious, and by hilarious I mean hilariously bad. For being in Lake Louise, you’d expect some degree of quality. They charge outrageous prices for the quality of food they put out and the only reason they exist is because there isn’t really much else to eat around there. We got chicken tenders that were straight out of a microwave looking, and tasted like fish so assume they fry everything in the same oil. Oh, and a burger that was comically over cooked. It was like food you would expect to get at a cafeteria, but no where near as decent. The only reason we even ended up here is because we just got done hiking 9 miles at nearby Skoki Loop, and we both agree we had been better off eating the snacks we had left over. Very very disappointing.
The descriptions of their cheeseburger in other reviews is accurate- cooked earlier in the day, and microwaved to "melt" the cheese. Took less than 5 minutes after ordering to receive the food, at least the fries were fresh.
Our server took our order, and we never saw him again until it was time to pay. He checked on the table behind us, looked at us not eating and walked away
Vers nice place! The food is very good and it is affordable for a place like Lake Louise! Also, thumbs up to Shyla the barmaid that has been very nice with us!
