The braised short ribs were pretty good, tender, flavourful, side vegetables were plentiful. I would definitely order it again.

The calamari was okay, they were small and had a lot of batter so it was more crispy calamari rather than the fried calamari you would expect to order in a restaurant (usually tender with a bit of crisp outside).

The key lime pie was a disappointment. It was basically a glass full of whipped cream, barely a small teaspoon of graham crumbs and the lime taste was so light probably because there was so much cream.

Our friend ordered the recommended chocolate cake and it was cold and tasted like store bought frozen cake. We asked about this and we were told that it was baked and delivered by a supplier. The key lime cream was done in-house, by the kitchen.

The desserts could afford a change to bring it up to the level of the service, the interiors and some of the food.

There is a huge window across the room with a spectacular view. It was worth going to eat in the restaurant just to get that openness.

Service was good too. The design of the interiors is excellent, one of the better places in the area, I appreciated the way it was designed, much like a cozy, well appointed cottage.

We ate here a few nights ago on our wedding night. There were 9 of us, we reserved a month in advance to ensure the restaurant had space. Our waitress was phenomenal! The food… I’m not joking… everyone said it is one of the best meals they have ever had. We frequent Waterton but have never eaten here until our wedding night. We will be back when we come to celebrate our anniversary. Portions were great, wine was great, absolutely no complaints. Everyone’s fav was the braised short rib- melt in your mouth DELICIOUS! The restaurant boasts a beautiful interior and stunning waterfront views.

However, the Braised Short Ribs, despite being recommended by our server, fell short of expectations for its high price. It tasted more like homemade cooking than a gourmet dish.

The "To Die For" chocolate cake was a disappointment despite its brand name on the menu, lacking the expected indulgence. Overall, the ambiance was lovely, but the food choices left something to be desired.

A incredible place to eat. Most amazing views, friendly knowledgable staff and great food. Decent wine list. We had a great evening.

This place had lovely ambiance on a cold rainy day. The food was wonderful with some great gluten free options and we had the best service from the bartender. Highly recommend!

Brad, our server, made our night very special with his immense good energy, high and very caring spirit. It made all the difference to a delicious meal!

Solid option for dining in Waterton. Our server Lucas was on point for both of our dining experiences, dinner and breakfast. Food was great. Prime Rib, Budda Bowl and Breakfast Bowls are all filling and enjoyable. Thanks.

1st Impression

Amazing set up and appealing menu

Waiter was loud and overly clicheic, dramatic.

Then the outside door beside us was opened and left opened (cold and wet outside). I got my wife her jacket and grabbed my toque until we could get someone's attention. It was our waiter. He seemed surprised we were cold. And asked where we from! *@. So weird.

After we seated, I took the Alcohol Menu and set it aside.

When the waiter came to take drinks he dug it out and shoved it in front of me.

We Started with crab cakes.not good.tasted like tuna salad.

The waiter asked us how it was and I clearly told him it was not good. He immediately said "Greeeaat" and turned and walked away. We were left with the dirty dishes in our table

Then another server (no smile, no hello or anything to get our attention politely) stated "Salmon" like it was a question. My Wife was a bit stunned

My meal was put in front of me. The smell was revolting. It was covered in a shaved cheese (not in menu description) and smelled like dog poo.

My stomach was reeling at this point

A third person came to us and asked us how things were. I let her know about the service and food quality. She offered to take away the food and offered to bring a new menu. I said ok. The menu had some lettuce and sauce on it. It wasn't from our table.

We ended up getting a partial bill.paid it and left.

We visited in early September, had a beautifully prepared and presented meal. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the service excellent and the view was splendid. Highly recommend.

Definitely the best dinner option in Waterton. We have been here twice and we liked it a lot. Very good food and especially fantastic staff.

We got the food after 40 minutes of waiting, I understand they were busy but still my husband cauliflower steak and it had hair in it

Came here for our anniversary. Our server was very helpful and we enjoyed our food very much. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon. The view was phenomenal.

The atmosphere was soft and romantic. The Server brad was very personal and helpful and comedic. The food was amazingly delicious Would highly recommend.

Food and service is great but not for people who would get annoyed by flies
But they cannot spray as the restaurant is located in the national park.

Service was great! We had a very bubbly waitresss who was very accomidating.

Got the burger and was pleasently surprised that it was char grilled! The dish had great harmony and the seasalt fries were nice and crispy.

Definitely worth a stop for lunch.

We had the chicken sandwich with Ceasar salad and Hunter Chicken as well as a margarita and a Corona. The margarita wasn't to my liking, so our server, Brad brought me a different drink. The meals were superb. Our waiter, Brad, treated us wonderfully.

We enjoyed the food and the beautiful view. A cozy fireplace and great service from our pleasant servers. Brad was especially helpful

Just left here for dinner. We had a fixed menu with choice of chicken or salmon. We came as part of a bus tour and this was the included dinner. We are staying at the hotel that runs this restaurant.

My group of 4 had 2 fish (salmon) and 2 chicken.

Halfway through my meal, I noticed the chicken was undercooked and still slightly raw. Huge turn off so I let our server know. He came back and offered another dish but I declined. I didn’t want to eat anything else from this place. It turns out there were 3 other chicken dishes that were undercooked and sent back.

The manager came to apologize and said they temp their food. I just said it was all good and didn’t make a fuss. But I strongly suspect they do not temp any food because both salmon dishes were super over cooked.

YMMV. Take with a grain of salt (as with all reviews). My recommendation is to avoid both restaurants from this hotel (same kitchen).

The good news is the mashed potatoes were super good and our server was amazing. Come for the views but don’t stay for the food.

The food was amazing! Our server Morgan, was the highlight of the meal. Morgan was prompt, knowledgeable and personable.

Absolutely amazing food and service. If you go to Waterton you must enjoy a lunch at this establishment. Thank you for top notch food and service folks

Had an absolutely fantastic dinner. Thanks in part to our great and hilarious server, Brad. The food was also amazing perfectly cooked top sirloin. The demi glaze had so much flavor and paired great with the wild mushrooms.

The restaurant offers great views, especially if you get a seat by the window. The food was fine (we ordered crab cakes, hunter chicken and the burger), but we expected more for the price. The food was also quite slow to come out and I can't really say it was worth the wait. Our server, Sindy, was rude and made me and my wife feel unwelcome.

Food was excellent. Brad was a great server and told some hilariously bad jokes. Will definitely stop again some time. Thank you so much to all the staff!

Ordinary food for an extra ordinary price. I had a hamburger which was dry and the meat of the burger lacked taste. The caeser salad tasted as if the dressing came from a bottle no bacon or anchovies just roasted garlic. The entire meal was VERY disappointing and when we got the bill I nearly chocked!

Food was great and our waitress was very attentive. Steaks were a little more welldone than we asked for, but the beef was high quality and seasoned just right so we didn’t really mind. Dessert was great as well!

The good was delicious. We had the baked brie, the Kung pao bowl with tofu, and the lobster and shrimp linguini. All were great! Lukas, our server was great too.
