One time we went they had all the drink choices empty and last night went and it was a mess in the halls and our theatre, so sad they already stopped taking care of this place, it’s going to be a nasty theatre to go to if they keep their standards this low
One of the greatest theatres in North America. Staff is highly impressive and accommodating. Seating and AV is just perfect. Food selection and quality is pretty decent. Friends and family all over from US and Canada came to watch movies here and confirmed the statements above. Way to go Landmark! Keep up the great work.
This location has been out of ice and drinks for months, it also seems like we don't get any good movies anymore. Hardly any indie films or anything even slightly "alternative". (Saltburn, Talk to me, Haunting in Venice, Beau is afraid, etc) Miss how it used to be: - (
While visiting our daughter and son in law in fort McMurray we decided to go to a movie at the landmark cinema. It's been a very long time since seeing a movie at a landmark cinema, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The reclining chairs made us feel like we were home in our own living room.
Bro it was good i don’t know what y’all are talking about. But once I went to miles morales and it smelt like piss in the movie theatre but everything else just helped it bro, smell of the popcorn, movie, atmosphere, like dang bro, I’m going again today btw
The theatre was very busy, but the staff did a great job of keeping the place clean and keeping the customers moving along. I was impressed with how well it all went.
It's still overpriced and floors feel sticky half the time and the staff just don't seem happy to be there but, that's life. Young employees with little to no incentive to smile. Nathan a theatre manager is always very friendly.
Landmark cinemas is a decent movie theater. In the times that I've been there, it's always been clean. There are large reclining seats with a fold up arm rest in-between each pair of seats. The snacks are comparable to other theaters I've been to. The atom app is quite convenient for buying and sharing tickets as well as pre-ordering food.
This place is run by kids for the most part, so you get what you expect. I am usually pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness of the seats because I've seen people make an awful mess. Get your food, expect a line, and enjoy your movie.
Big comfy recliner chairs. Theatre food. And big screens. Can't really ask for more. It's a much better complex than the old theater downtown. It's nice to have a modern landmark in town.
Concession was really slow due to lack of employees, but the 3D seats were really comfortable. Probably not being cleaned too often with lack of employees.
Nice venue but TOO LOUD. Manager explained all cinemas at preset level. So a body needs earplugs to be comfortable in a theatre advertises as being extra comfortable? !
Being a past employee at this cinema I'm pretty disappointed. I honestly don't know what has happened since I've left but a lot of things are not getting done or not getting done properly. (not saying I was the one keeping the business together because I wasn't working a busy movie theater is a team effort guys) But little things like popcorn not being swept up and theater cleans not being properly done. This building has been open almost a year now and any of the staff reading this know that I loved you all to death. Pick up the pace on concession, make sure mid rush clean ups are getting done, holy mother of GOD bathroom checks for the ushers also means bathroom cleans. Theater cleans are decently done AT times and most importantly of all, make sure any and all new staff are trained properly. I know you guys can do it.and please DON'T. BURN. THE POPCORN.
Great local option for watching movies. Food is varied and what you would expect in bigger cities. Seating is the main draw with fabulously comfortable recliners. Movie seat selection ensures you can reserve the best seats. Big upgrade from days of past.
Love the recliners and the popcorn and we had a problem with our movie so they changed us to another movie theatre and gave us 2 free admissions to another disney movie for another time
Went twice in a week and enjoyed myself. First time though, there was no one checking tickets so could have gotten in for free. Almost happened the second time too but I got someone’s attention.
I am loving this new location, and the incredibly comfortable seats! It makes it so much easier to sit through a whole movie despite chronic back pain. I also liked that the seats could be turned into loveseats, making it easier for me to lean on my fiancé's shoulder or hold hands and definitely share snacks!
I am more likely to want to see a movie in theatres at this theatre, because of the seats that make it possible for me to sit with less pain for longer.
The concept of this place was amazing. Loved the movie theater. However i noticed that this place looked like a bomb went off. Popcorn everywhere on the floors. It made this teally nice high end movie theater look like a slum.
We arrived to watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, waited 45 in the theatre only to hear they forgot to press play and then announced technical difficulties. They reimbursed us with a free admission ticket. Would’ve been cooler if we got two per person for the wasted time. Manager went and hid away.
Great seats and a great theatre. However, lines are always ridiculous even in the preorder line. It's like the forget about preorders and focus on the main line only. When there are 4 people in a preorder line you shouldn't be waiting for 30-45 mins. Place is always a mess and needs to be cleaned more regularly.
Went to the only showing of Rush and the showing did not start. Manager was not to be found for 45 minutes and staff on front counter wasn't able to provide any information. One of the front counter staff was trying to help us out but as the manager was missing could give us an update. That front counter gentleman was great to deal with and helpful. Once the manager showed up was very defensive and told us that they were on hold with tech support an hour later. Told us that complaining to the manager wouldn't help as it would just delay things further. It was well over an hour before he came in to announce to the theater that the show would not start. The front staff was great but that manager should not be in his position. Unable to deal with people and could not offer the proper assistance. Very upset that I missed the one time only Rush show. Was only offered a refund for tix and given one free admission. Wasted 45 bucks on popcorn and treats to eat while looking at a blank screen with no information given.
Went to watch the new once upon a time in Hollywood movie, sat there for half an hour they told us they forgot to hit play sat there another half an hour then was told they couldn't figure out how to play it and instead of getting our money back, they gave one free movie voucher when two should have been given per person for sitting through that waste of time
Saturday at 1130 am. Went in to prepurchase tickets. None of them said hi they just all looked at me. I had to ask if one of them felt like helping me. I also had to step through a mountain of popcorn to get to the counter and nobody felt like sweeping.
Felt bad for the one girl stocking the shelves. The only one earning her paycheck.
Great upgrade from the previous theatre, but the line ups to get food is crazy. I waited 40 mins for 2 pretzel dogs, 3 workers trying to handle line ups almost back to the door plus running back and forth getting food. Try hiring more people
Great reclining seats and good sized screens. Good food items on the menu but the nachos are not the best quality. However, The cheese and jalapeno are great tasting. Both Kids and adults love the option to fill up drinks based on their preferences. Overall you wont be disappointed to take your family and friends here.
Great seats but brutal waiting times. Missed the beginning of a movie a few times now. The app doesn't solve the problem because it's the same person working the regular counter.
