Lorra is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She took the time to go through my hair care routine and provide me with product suggestions specific to my hair type. She truly does care and is very genuine! She also gave me a great hair cut and style! Highly recommend her

Lather hair salon styled my hair, my bridesmaid’s hair and my mother’s hair for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. I received so many compliments specifically on my hairstyle. Lorra was meticulous, making sure every detail looked amazing and I knew how to fix anything if it were to fall out of place. I was apprehensive to get my hair done for my wedding because I have had a few “not so great” updos (from other salons). My hair is very curly and does require some knowledge of how to style, especially since I wanted my curls to be natural for my wedding hair. Because my hair is unique, it is a huge part of my identity and I am so grateful to Lorra for making me feel beautiful on my special day.

Ok, first off, I will say that in the end, I was happy with my hair and the stylist did a good job. My issue with this place is the physical environment - ambience and comfort. When I first walked in, I thought I had entered into the wrong business. There are huge fluorescent lights and it looks like an office when you enter, it’s just not a nice set up. So all the while under these extremely bright fluorescent lights, sitting in this chair was sooo uncomfortable/ honestly, I could barely walk when I was finished, my back hurt so much (it took about 2.5 hours). This place is very expensive and not up to my standards - I would expect for this price, to feel comfortable and because of the environment I didn’t (although my stylist was great). It is actually the most expensive salon I have ever been to, but you feel like you’re in a supercuts/budget haircut place. It was $300 for a trim and highlights, not including tip! I did leave a good tip because it’s not the stylist’s fault the owner doesn’t invest in its shop. Because of the physical environment though, I will not be returning Hopefully this salon owner will do an upgrade!

These guys are amazing! I had to get a last minute haircut this weekend and called them this morning and they booked me right away! Such great service! Big shout out to Jimmy! Had my hair cut a couple of times by this stylist and he has always done such a great job! Thanks again for coming in early today, despite the bad driving conditions, and giving me such a great cut! I'm loving it so far.

The level of service in Lather is unparalleled. Megan was my hair dresser, and she basically took the time to treat my hair like it was an artwork. After washing my hair thoroughly, she proceeded to meticulously craft my new hair look. She truly has a passion for hair. The cost was $32, which is higher than barber shops and whatnot, but it's honestly the nicest haircut I've ever received. When I got home I genuinely felt guilty for only tipping her $8. She earned way more than that. In any case, you can be sure I've found my new regular hair salon and hairdresser. Thanks, Megan!
