I stopped here to get some pantry items and decided to order a pork cachapa as well. It was a great contrast of sweet, salty and rich. The owners are very friendly and take pride in their locally made offerings.

A small but amazing locally owned shop & Cafe. Eat in or take home & cook yourself. Very great owner & super supportive of the community. Food was spectacular!

A little out of the way but very friendly grocery/coffee shop. Nice coffee and some exotic foods for a lunch break. They have a large kitchen and make great empanadas and tamales, which you can buy frozen and take home for the family. Clean and has easy parking. The grocery section is rather limited as is the seating for the coffee shop but it's worth a visit, especially if you're looking for something different.

The real deal when it comes to Latin food. They have a selection of products you can't find at any of the Latin markets in the south end of the city. And the takeout food is authentic

Waaaaaay expensive! I would never recommend this store. You can find in Walmart, or any other latinos store any product and in reasonable prices, but in this store everything is crazy expensive!

Best carrot cake I have ever had! I just dropped in for some corn tortillas and walked out with some amazing carrot cake and some salsa. Very helpful woman guided me on a salsa for a guest coming with dietary restrictions. Wide variety of groceries, and next time I will be ordering lunch as well)

Will be showing here again will try there menu as they offer hot foods as well as a large selection of prepared foods from lower america

Amazing Venezuelan and Latin food! We had the cachapas with beef and cheese, they were delicious and highly recommend! They also carry a huge selection of Latin products. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

It’s a new place in calgary to explore latin food and grocery. It’s a hidden shop but you should try their food. Had a quesadilla and it was good. The sauce was delicious and bit spicy. You can ask for your spicy level. Not enough space for dining for a bunch of people. The ambiance was cool and appealing.

Amazing experience and incredible food! Totally recommended. Try the beef cachapa and the tequeños! The coconut bun is also incredible.

Nice and cozy place. The coffee is very good and they have a little bit of everything. I liked the place buy think it is pricey.

Tried the cachapas and tequeños and they were soooo delicious! Also they have lots of frozen foods that you can just take home! And the service is amazing! Definitely felt a little piece of home in this place! Totally recommended.

We were driving in the area, noticed the welcoming storefront, and walked in on a whim just to take a look. Andreina (the store owner) was working and we had a great conversation. She was super friendly and welcoming. We learned that most of the items carried in this store are locally produced, and we decided to buy a few things. This store also has a cafe, kitchen, and a couple of dining tables, so we decided to order a plate of Cachapas to try out. The dining area was spotless, and Andreina prepared the food which was delicious. We don't live in the area, but we're making a mental note to stop by when we are around in the future.

This place is amazing! Very clean, excellent service, the food is very, very good. The owners are super friendly and eager to please. I enjoyed arepas, cachapas, Pabellón, coffe, chocolate truffles. They have keto, vegan and gluten free options too.
Not only is the food absolutely delicious but they genuinely care about their customer. I highly recommend this true family business

Me encanta Latín Food, la comida es excelente, las arepas deliciosas, los tequeños divinos, el asado negro es muy muy rico, las cachapas, los cachitos, los croissants son espectaculares, los Tacos son para chuparse los dedos, toda la comida es riquísima. El cafe es riquísimo, además de que tienen variedades de leches y sirups. Las personas que trabajan allí son súper amigables, simpáticas, muy cálidas y te atienden con mucha alegría. Cada vez que voy me siento como si estuviera en mi amado país Venezuela. Tienen muchísimos productos de todo Centro America y América del Sur, además que la tienda es impecable, súper limpio todo y sanitizian todo el tiempo. Se los recomiendo no al 100% sino más bien al un millón %. Ahora Latin Food es mi tienda latina preferida.
I love Latin Food, the food is excellent, the Arepas are delicious, the Tequeños are delicious as well, the cachitos, the croissants yummy yummy, the Asado Negro (Dark beef roast) is soooooo soooo good, all the food is absolutely delicious. The coffee is reach in flavour and smooth tasting. The people that work in there are very friendly, nice and kind. Every time that I go there I feel like If I am in my beloved country Venezuela. They have a lot of products from Centro America and South America.
The Store is very clean and organized, they sanitize all the time. I recommend Latin Food not only 100%, but a million %. Now Latin Food is my favourite Latin Store.

This is my new favorite place to shop! The takeout counter has delicious food including amazing Arepas, a wide variety of ready to eat Latino favorites, not to mention some insanely delicious carrot cake! Congratulations to the new owners as they are doing a fantastic job!

I am so happy to have discovered Latin Food Specialties. We had a backyard Spanish themed party. We got a charcuterie tray which was beautifully presented with Serrano ham and Manchego cheese of the highest quality. We had a selection of olives, all of which were tasty. And the special bite of surprise was the pineapple pepper jelly.
But the real ohs and ahs were expressed when the paella was presented. I included a picture so you can see how beautiful it was. But this is nothing compared to the flavour. I have always liked paella but this was without question the best I have ever had, including in Spain! Every grain of rice was infused with the most amazing combination of seafood flavours.
Besides amazing food the owners were very friendly and accommodating.
What I love about this store is that 80% to 90% of their product is sourced in Alberta. Who knew we had so many wonderful Latin food producers here! If you have had empanadas from your local grocery store, trust me, you have not had empanadas.
