Love this salon. Love my stylist. I trust that if she was away, that I would be in good hands with any of the stylists.

Honey always provides fantastic service and is friendly, listens to my ideas for my look and gives good advice for any changes to colour or style. She’s great!

It’s always a pleasure to get my hair cut by Honey! She does such a great job and is very personable!

My first experience at Lavish with Mel is fantastic! I only had two things in mind for my haircut, and she pieced everything into a hairstyle that would fit me. I will definitely come back for a haircut!

My 2 daughters (13 and 15) had such a great experience getting their hair cut by Mackenzie, that I booked my own appointment with her too.
She finds a great balance of advising on style/cut while ensuring you walk out with what you are hoping for. Great communication and multiple check ins throughout the appointment to see if it’s aligning with what you agreed to.

My first time experience at lavish with Rena did not disappoint. Throughout my appointment she was very professional from start to finish and I was very comfortable during the whole process. 10/10 would recommend! And I look forward to coming back.

My only feedback is that $80 seems excessive for a “women’s cut” when it’s just a trim of a couple dead ends, not a real cut, no styling required. I was quite disappointed by that considering I was already spending >$300 on the other services. I’ll likely forgo the “cut” in the future.

Taylor is amazing. She always knows what I want without me really knowing what I want. Gets me the colour I want, in the safest less harming way possible.

Terrible experience! She took 4.5 hours to do my hair and after all that time the colour was patchy and cut was uneven

Mckenzie was super nice and had a great soul. Her and I talked about things the entire time I was in the salon and she didn’t make it awkward at all, my hair turned out beautifully and I will 100% be going to her again.

Beautiful salon! We always see Rena, she is fantastic with cuts and color. We live in Chestermere and my 16 year old son refuses to see anyone closer as he completely trusts Rena to get his hair the way he wants it! Highly recommend this salon for the best experience and high quality service.

MacKenzie was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Having recently moved from BC, I was super anxious and nervous about finding a new stylists, but I am happy with my cut!

I got my hair cut by kenzie today, she listened really well to what I wanted and checked up on my regularly to make sure it was looking how I pictured it. I would defiantly visit her again.

Really disappointed, I don't have the color I ask to Honey it's darker than i asked her. I understand thats gonna light with the sun bit i asked for blonde highlights around my face and I don't have, I ask for a fringe and I don't have. I tell her i didn't want that but she ignore it.not really professionnel. Plus I choose this salon because the price they told me was the lowest compare to other salon and they charge me 340 dollars instead of 240 dollars. When I asked why they just told me Honey did more stuff but she is not suppose to ask and tell me first? She didn't even ask me if the cut was ok for me, she curl my hair without asking me. I send an email to complain but no respond. (sorry for my english I'm french)

My hair turned out fine, but when I think back on the whole experience, it was really “off”. I arrived before my appt time, but when I walked in everything was rushed/flustered as though I was late. The greeting was disgruntled, the pace was intense. The salon was empty. The energy was as though “I was a burden” … I’m not sure what I did wrong…? The entire experience felt rushed. If there was not enough time to do my hair, I wish I had been told and we could have figured out a different service together - a cut, or layers, or just a scalp massage and blow dry. If there’s not time, be honest. It was so bizarre how rushed everything was, given the salon was nearly empty. No one in a chair. Foils were okay. But the comb through of wet hair and blow dry…ouch…My hair was treated so poorly. It was combed through harshly and pulled at really hard. And the blow dry was the same; rough, aggressive, really pulling at my hair, and when encountering a knot, just roughed through over and over again. It seems as though aggression was being taken out on my hair. Hair is so important to women; it’s delicate, it’s special to all of us. I’m so confused as to why the experience was so rough and aggressive…? Hair experts should know better than anyone how delicate hair is, and when a woman walks in with thin/brittle or post partum hair (and shares that with the stylist), it could bring forth some extra gentleness, rather than hard pulling and roughing up the hair. Obviously a talented hair stylist, the colour turned out fine, but I left with a lot of unnecessary breakage that could have been avoided. What a rough and aggressive experience that was. I’ve never felt someone treat my hair so poorly. I should have spoken up in the moment, but honestly, I was sort of afraid of the energy from this woman (right from the start). I started to feel bad for her, that life was not going well for her. She seemed very angry. At something other than me, just wish I wasn’t there, in her chair. It was not a warm or gentle experience. My hair was treated so poorly. My third appointment there, different stylist each time because I choose based on date/time, not stylist. But now I will not return.

Mackenzie was so nice and really took the time with me to make sure she understood what I wanted! It was such a great experience and she was very fast! Rebooked with her in a few months!

I have been a client of Gigettas for years and would never switch! Always love my hair when she’s done and enjoy my time with her.
