Lavoom Salon - Eyebrow Threading, Tinting & More.

First time I have been here and probably won't go back. Staff were nice and friendly but I did not leave satisfied with how my hair looked. The hair dresser didn't seem to care if I liked how it looked and was more worried on getting me out as she seemed to have other clients at the same time. When i asked if my hair was orange as i notice some parts looked orange Suzanne told me it was because I had asked her to lightened my hair (as it had henna and dye from before) some parts were lighter. That's fine if that's the case but she didn't seem interested on if i liked it or maybe she just didnt have the time or want to fix it. I'm not a hair dresser and i told her why i wanted it lightened first. She didnt argue or say it wasn't necessary as she would know better than me. I ended having to redye my hair to get it to the color I wanted so I basically wasted over $100 for something I did myself.

Marada’s expertise and attention to detail were truly remarkable. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. My lashes looked natural, voluminous and perfectly curled. I highly recommend Marada for their professionalism, skill, and ability to create stunning lashes that last.

I came across Lavoom from a close friend of mine she had gotten her brows laminated and they looked great and I thought what’s the harm in trying it.

The harm was I’m addicted now, Fatima was the lovely lady that did my brows she spoke me through it so I was more comfortable and relaxed about the process and when it was finally done I couldn’t be more happier. They were perfect, exactly how I imagined them. It’s been 4 weeks and it is still intact, makes my life so much easier now. Thank you Lavoom for making it a enjoyed environment️

I was looking for a place to get mens brow done here in Calgary, but found out a lot of places don't offer it and thanks to Lavoom I was able to get done and they did a FANTASTIC job. They made it so natural and the lady was very nice, I would 100% recommend it if you are looking for a great clean up for men. It is a place I will definitely come back more often.

This is a beautiful hidden away gem! Sammy took great care of me doing my facial hair removal through threading. It was comfortable, private (which isn't always the case with threading in some other businesses), and the owners took great care to design an amazingly beautiful and warm, spa-feel environ. I now know 2 of the estheticians - Naghme and Sammy B, and I would highly recommend both!

I hate to leave this bad review but I left the salon very upset with my lash lift and tint. Don’t get a lash lift or tint from this place, it burns like crazy and they do not do a good job. After the lift, my lashes were HARDLY curly and lifted. I’ve gotten them done at a different place before but this place is closer to my house so I decided to try it but it’s not as professional. However, the people are very friendly.

Maryam is hands down the best! My hair always looks amazing after and she also gave me a bunch of tips on styling and how to take care of my hair which I really appreciate! She is thorough, takes her time, and never hesitates to explain and answer any related questions to hair

Naghme Is also amazing at doing my eyebrows! I’ve gone to multiple places that ruined the shape of brows and she restored a beautiful design with threading

I've always had a great experience at Lavoom Salon. I always feel welcome, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing.

The talent, knowledge, and professionalism of both Maryam and Naghmeh are outstanding. It is always a pleasure to have my haircut done by Maryam. This is because she always informs me what she is going to do, and the results are exactly what I want. My trust in Maryam and this salon was not built on one-time services, but was built over several months of regular service.

Ultimately, I highly recommend them and lots of credit must be given to the amazing team at the Lavoom salon.

I loved my haircut and hair color done by Maryam. She makes sure her customers like the end result. She will adjust accordingly to the requirements. Also, her suggestions are reliable.

We hired them for our wedding and they did such a great job! WOW! Worth every penny! My makeup and hair were flawless for the wedding, and stayed put until the end of the night. All the pictures and videos came out great:) Days after the wedding, Souzan (the hairstylist) and Kili (the makeup artist) even sent me a list of all the products they used on us and how to apply them. Excellent excellent service. My mother's makeup and hair looked AMAZING too! It was honestly the best she has ever looked at a wedding. She looked 10 years younger. We were all very impressed. We all couldn't stop looking at her.lol. At first, she wasn't sure if she should've gotten her hair and makeup done for the wedding but after seeing the results, she was so grateful she decided to spend the extra money. Naghme (the owner and brow specialist) was super helpful and accommodating in making sure we got the best value for all of their services. The way she did our eyebrows = Definitely the BEST in YYC! My husband and I got our eyebrows threaded right before the wedding and they looked so natural on my husband, he looked so handsome, you couldn't even tell what was different but you can tell that he looked better than ever:) He wants to get them done regularly now LOL. I had the best experience at this salon. I got classic lash extensions and a brow tint and design. The service was so nice and welcoming. Mary Jane was so sweet and I’m in love with my new lashes, her table was so comfy I even had a little nap. The brow lady was very accommodating to how I wanted my brows, she matched them with my hair colour (Red/Auburn) they’re not too bold and I’m very happy with them.

This place is truly one of a kind and I've been to many beauty salons around the world. I had full face threading, brow threading, shaping and brow tinting done – all by Naghme. She was very particular, caring and an amazing person to talk to. I felt truly pampered and will definitely come back for more.

Maryam, a hairstylist at Lavoom is great! I skipped and postponed visiting a salon for a haircut in the pst 2 years as I was scared to accept the risk of not having the result I wanted. Yesterday, I had a haircut with Maryam. She is truly passionate about what she’s doing, very detail-oriented, and talented. While she works on your hair, you can relax and be sure that she will try her best to see your smile seeing the result. She doesn’t ignore any detail and Works so carefully! I will come back for sure:)

I've been waiting a long time to find a salon as good as Lavoom! Having someone so close to your face for services like facials and eyebrows is a vulnerable place to be in. And Naghme, the owner, is an incredible human being. I have never been treated so well at a salon! I highly recommend her services and the salon for their overall professionalism, generosity, kind-heartedness, and quality. Go to Lavoom! You won't regret this choice.

I saw Naghme for my first eyebrow threading with Lavoom, and let me tell you. They do NOT disappoint! I was impressed by their cleanliness and all technicians are super friendly! And of course, my eyebrows are fabulous. 10/10 recommend.

Cute shop, very clean! Absolutely horrible greeting service I got there from who I think is one of the hairstylists. I was 10 minutes early and went in (which in hindsight with Covid I shouldn’t have done, but we’re human and I forgot) and the female who greeted me was horribly rude. She barked at me that I was early and scolded me to sit down and wait. Was a very unfriendly welcoming. HOWEVER Naghme was extremely kind and professional and did a great job! I would recommend her!

I saw Tas recently and absolutely fell in love with my lash extensions! No more mascara for this busy mom! Service was friendly and I got to take a nap while she worked on my eyes. Highly recommend.

I have seen Tas several times for lash extensions. I couldn’t be happier with the quality, value and attention to detail she gives. I no longer need mascara and I constantly get compliments on my lashes! I can tell Tas has tremendous passion for her work and it really shows in the results. Thank you Tas:)

I came here to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted and was a bit nervous as I wasn't sure what kind of policies/procedures were in place to protect clients/staff during COVID. I was right to be concerned, the woman doing my eyebrows didn't take it seriously at all. She had her mask half over her mouth half the time (not covering her nose) and would constantly grab the mask (from the inside) and reposition it and then touch my face. The worst was when I was waiting while the tint was setting, she was on her phone taking a personal call, while touching my face (to check on the tint), while her mask was down around her chin. When I asked her to use hand sanitizer after touching her phone before touching me she got very defensive - her response being that if she's too careful it puts clients on edge and makes them uncomfortable. She was short and cold with me the rest of the visit.
I will say however, she did do a very good job of threading & tinting my eyebrows - I was very pleased with the result. However, at the moment, this salon is not up to the health standards that are required during the pandemic to keep staff & customers safe.

I went into the salon pre and post COVID for my blonde color and root refresh done by Shima. The salon is very clean and accomodating. Shima is a very talented hair dresser. She made a great suggestion for the colour, so it's not yellow but a nice cool tone of blonde as I didn't know what I was looking for. She even styled my hair afterwards. The price is very reasonable as well. In regards to getting your hair done with COVID conditions in place, they provided hand sanitizer and hand washing immediately upon entrance and a mask and followed all extra precautions to ensure everyone was safe and risks managed.

Have been there a couple times for hair cuts. The staff has been exceptional, and the mood in the salon is quite upbeat and welcoming. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality haircuts, and the attention to detail and my comfort while there

Naghme is amazing!
I have been getting my eyebrows threaded fro 2 years and she always provides an amazing service and professionalize that you cant find anywhere else in Calgary.

I came in for an eyebrow threading a few months ago since I was in the area and it was perfect! I normally visit basement salons that charge a lot less and get you in and out of the chair in less than 5 minutes, but at Lavoom it was a completely new experience. Since I'm so used to the threading being done so quick, I thought she was a little slow, but then she handed me the mirror when she was done so I could look at my eyebrows and WOW I have never seen them shaped so perfectly! She took her time to make them look amazing. 100% will be back whenever I am in the area!

I arrived and waited 15mins for my threading appointment. I did not even get them done.: (No one was at the front desk and the hairstylist were busy with their clients.

Neyma was super friendly and did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. She personally called me to apologize for the inconvenience and was able to book me in before the salon even opened. I appreciate how she was also able to suggest the best way to properly shape my brows. Go see her to get your eyebrows threaded, she's great!
