Hi All. Let's start with WONDERFUL! My first experience with Leading Edge at Capilano was when it was called Capilano Rehab. Vance treated me wonderfully for a damaged ankle and I got orthotic inserts that saved my work life. I used to come home and put my feet up for hours to get the swelling to come down and the pain to subside. After the inserts there was no pain at all. The next experience at Leading Edge was to see Ryan Agopsowicz. I went there because I had HUGE hip pain and lower back pain. I thought physio might help. After a couple of visits, Ryan said "You need to see your Doctor to find out what else might be wrong". I went to my GP and he sent me to an orthopedic surgeon (Shout out to Doc R. Stiegelmar) who has given me TWO NEW HIPS. The Doc said "there is nothing left. No wonder it was so painful". The point to this review is simple. Had Ryan not been talented enough to recognize that there was something more seriously wrong with my hips, I would still be on a cane, restricted in my activities and feeling like a crippled old man. THANK YOU RYAN, and all of the staff at Leading Edge Capilano! I have always been treated with respect and assistance whether I hobble in, walk in with a cane or walker or crutches. By March 17 I will need none of those walking aids although I may need someone to carry me out of a pub! Blessings to all and Merry Christmas!

The team at Leading Edge is amazing! My two year old and I were referred to the clinic after a car collision. Miss Farrah was absolutely wonderful with my little one. MJ and Brittany and Jess helped me get back into better shape than before. The team at the front made the insurance process really easy and the facility is great!

I started going to leading edge after motor vehicle accident last two years. The physiotherapist name is Ryan very knowledgeable and excellent listeners very professional polite and respectful to me. From my understanding his main goal and focus it to get me back to normal activities as soon as possible. I’m really really thank you very much for your help and advice.

Jemmy also treats me with respect. She is very kind and polite.

Amazing staff, great experience with Dan as my physio, Connor, and the front desk team recovering from a ruptured achilles.

Both my partner and brand mother struggle with vertigo. They both went to multiple places to fine help, and had no success. After coming here and finding Danny though they both are consistently better. He seems to be one of the only people in Edmonton that uses goggles with a camera in them to see what your eyes are doing. With that information he is able to do the proper treatment. If your having vertigo issues, this is the only place I recommend. Thankyou Danny. Also, he along with the other people that work there are really nice and helpful!

I can’t say enough about this group as soon as you walk in the front staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. I have been seeing MJ over the past couple of years with different issues and she has helped me deal with all of them. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in all her diagnosis and treatments for my various ailments. She uses many different treatments from massage, acupuncture, deep needling, different exercises that helped me out. She genuinely cares about you and what you have for ailments and works with you to "fix" them. Halley MJ’s assistant is absolutely awesome also very professional and checking on you if you require anything at all. I have also had help from Erin who is also incredible at her job helping me with my back and shoulder issues. Leading Edge Physiotherapy itself relocated recently and is more open well-lit, lots of parking and has a lot to offer someone. It’s an amazing establishment and easy to get to. Go see them, you will not regret it. Thank you so very much for your time and effort.

Danny is wonderful. He immediately recognized my vestibular neuritis. He is very thorough and knew exactly what to do to support my recovery. He is caring and kind. He gave me exercises to help me get over my vertigo. He checked up on me and was encouraging, positive and supportive. I would encourage everyone I know to go to Leading Edge Physio Capilano if they are experiencing any vertigo. Danny and Dan work with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and they understand how to help you recover from vertigo. I am so grateful to Danny, he helped me tremendously.

I went to this clinic for 8 weeks. They made me wait long periods of time before seeing a therapist even while having an appointment. Constantly changed my treatment direction without informing me. I felt like they were just pushing their fancy technology without providing much background info. I was asked a few times to pick between a few treatments, rather than the therapist telling me. I just felt lost, nothing was working, and I felt the clinic didn't put my treatment first but rather prioritized keeping me coming back over solving my issue.

Julie pinpointed my problem, treated it and helped me with exercises to do to strengthen at home.

The staff are super friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you are satisfied with your visits/treatments. They take a professional and personal approach with their clients. I highly recommend Dan, specifically for concussion treatments and any other injuries associated with whiplash. I would absolutely recommend this clinic and their staff to anyone seeking treatment.

Love this clinic. They have repaired many of my soft tissue injuries, vastly improved concussion symptoms, and have also been very helpful when dealing with insurance companies. Extra points to super friendly staff with a sense of humour, and fast, measurable results.

10/10 recommend. The daily dad jokes at the front of the office are cringeworthy perfection.

The front staff at leading edge are top notch. They are always super friendly and wonderful to deal with. You never wait long on hold and they are always happy to set up new appointments no problem.

This place is filled with such caring and fun people. They are genuinely concerned about you and make you feel well cared for. Dan is AMAZING! I have seen Dan for a couple of things and he fixed me right up. Great job all!

I have been receiving therapeutic massage every few months from Megan Johnson for approximately four years. She is very knowledgable, personable and highly effective. Her first concern is for the well being of her client and I have never left an appointment feeling much better than when I arrived. I highly recommend her!

I first started going to Leading Edge Capilano in November for physio after Hip Replacement. A friend highly recommended Erin. Elsewhere, I had been given some very mixed info on “do this don t do that” and was feeling confused. Everything Erin said made so much sense and her therapy plan for my healing and moving forward were awesome and got me on the right track. She is very knowlegeable and has a great personality. She takes the time for hands-on treatment and conversation about how I was progressing. Her assistant, the gym and front desk staff were also awesome. I would highly recommend Leading Edge Capilano and will certainly go back!

This is by far the BEST clinic! From the wonderful staff at the front desk who are extremely helpful and kind, the physiotherapists who take their time with each patient and make sure you’re comfortable, the assistants who set you up and always have a smile on their face, and of course the kinesiologists who help you work through your injury.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ryan as my physiotherapist and he’s an absolute delight! He takes the time to get to know you, connects very authentically, and finds a way to make you enjoy physio. Jaimie sets me up for my treatments and she’s so speedy and attentive. She will always make sure I’m comfortable and have everything I need every visit. Erika is the kinesiologist I work with and there aren’t enough words to describe her. She’s so passionate and knowledgeable and truly loves to help with your recovery process.

It’s so important to have people who genuinely care about your well being, and I’m truly blessed to have had Ryan, Jaimie, and Erika help with my recovery process.

The therapists are fantastic there. MJ is one of them. Does an amazing job and we always chose to go back to her when my daughter is in need.

I have been going to Megan for therapeutic massages for close to two years now. She is the best therapist I have ever had. Her skill, knowledge, and ability, keep me coming back monthly. She adjusts the treatment each time to whatever area is problematic. She is a lifesaver. I wouldn't be able to move pain free without her.

I have been to Capilano on several occassions to see Audrey for Acupuncture sessions and guidance on home treatment as well. A truly remarkable Lady at her craft. The staff are always quite friendly and helpful, my thanks to all of you.

Unimpressed. I went in with plantar fasciitis and over the course of two months had nine appointments with five expensive radial shockwave treatments. I saw virtually no improvement with the main response from the physiotherapist being that I should just submit to more shockwave treatments. I was given virtually no exercises to do on my own to strengthen the supporting muscles around the injured site, which I now believe to be the answer to heal such a persistent injury. My impression is that this physiotherapy location is preoccupied with volume and getting patients to pay a premium for its fancy shockwave machine, rather than empowering them with effective exercises they can do on their own that will prevent re-injury. I have switched providers and will not return.

Awesome place with wonderful and caring people. Ask for Ryan he will take good care of you and keep you laughing.

I have been going to see Audrey for personal injuries for the last two years. Her treatment sessions have made a complete turn around to the way I feel and function. It's absolutely incredible! The staff's friendliness, flexibility and concern just adds to the experience. A round of applause to everyone.

What a fantastic place! The staff are all so welcoming and kind. Their COVID protocols are excellent, I feel very safe and taken care of when I'm there. I've been seeing Ryan for a neck problem and he's made a massive difference. He always has a good story to share and truly wants to help you feel better! I highly recommend giving them a try for any issue!

This was the first ever physiotherapy experience of my life (somehow I've managed to make it into my 60's without any issues). Then, out of the blue, my knee just crashed. Pain was excruciating - enough to send me to hospital emergency. Doctors were unable to diagnose my problem. Sent me home with crutches and told me to rest. It's only when I booked my first appointmenet with Greg Krook that I got a proper diagnosis. Took him about 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong with me and prescribe course of treatment. Thanks to him and the team at Capilano Leading Edge Physio, I'm back on my feet again!

Worse place to go. I came in with sciatic pain and left with pain. I did ask for help. They just know how to charge hard working people.

I hurt my lower back and needed a good physiotherapist. I found Adel Ho at Capilano. After doing an assessment, he created a treatment plan just for me, and got me walking again! Gentle, kind, thoughtful, caring and very knowledgable, exactly what is needed in a great physiotherapist.

The care and service of Leading Edge Capilano has been second to none! We came for the Pediatric program when my daughter was 4 months old because I was concerned about torticollis as she was favouring one side and her head shape was changing. We were initially met with the Physiotherapist Farrah and Occupational Therapist Carrie at our initial visit. Their relaxed and easygoing nature helped both of us feel comfortable as they conducted a thorough assessment while my daughter played with the toys provided. Not only did it help to ease my mind that there were options for treatment, it also helped me be a part of the process. Over the next 4-5 months, it was great to see how she was hitting her developmental milestones with each visit.
I highly recommend the Peds program at Leading Edge Capilano. They have an entire room dedicated for pediatrics where they incorporate play as treatment for children. It's also a great place to learn about activities and toys that help babies & children learn and grow.

I came to Leading Edge at Capilano because I had old injuries and was in constant pain. The staff are friendly and compassionate. The atmosphere is so positive I lookforward to my appointments. Thanks to M. J. I can sleep at night, am no longer in pain. She is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled practitioner.

I have been seeing Ryan for almost two years now for my “aches and pains”. I had been dealing with tennis elbow for about a year with no results from another physio practice. Within 6 weeks I was pain free after making an appt at Capilano Leading Edge with Ryan. He has helped me with other “aches and pains” since then and each time I leave (after only a few appts) feeling so much better, pain free! I consistently recommend him to anyone who is struggling with pain. He is so kind and genuinely cares about his clients.
I have to add that all the staff at Leading Edge Capilano are very kind and caring. They make you feel welcome and Jamie remembers me even after not seeing me for almost 6mos and I was wearing a mask! She is very patient as she gets me all set up with the heat etc.

This place is amazing! Dan's vestibular work has helped me so much! Erica is the bubbliest, most positive person you could ever meet. Every worker in this place is exceptionally friendly. Best business i have ever been in. Thank you to everyone involved.

My son has been coming to the Pediatric Occupational Therapy group at the clinic. Carrie and the team have been very helpful in developing strategies that have helped our son gain better skills and get resulted in his development. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of support for your child!

Highly reccomend this location and Megan/Erin. I chose Leading Edge as my mom went to this place to help with her damaged back and said it helped her alot. I got in an accident in 2019 and have been getting deep tissue massages with Megan and physiotherapy help from Erin that has helped alot in recovering my shoulders.

Went in suffering from concussion and vestibular problems. Nobody else was able to help me but Dan Timmermans and his team worked with me and within a few months I was much better and had my life back. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing I have been seeing Greg for years and absolutely adore him. He is amazing. The front desk staff are great as well. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Ryan for about 10 months after I suffered an injury in jiujitsu.

Ryan worked on my arm and shoulder to help relive the muscle and tendon tightness.

Staff here are excellent as well and the place is nice and clean.

I have been to a few different physiotherapists around the city and this has so far been my best experience. I see Danny who is always friendly and welcoming and does a great job working on my Injury. The front staff is always friendly and great to deal with as well! If your looking for a physiotherapist team that makes you feel welcomed and listen to your concerns check out this place!

I have been a client at the clinic for a many years. The quality of physiotherapy services has been exceptional with many treatment options available. The staff are very patient-focused putting patients first at all stages of your experience from the staff that welcome you upon arriving to the physiotherapists and kinesiologist in the sports performance area. Greg has provided me with excellent physiotherapy care, adapting from different injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. He also provides great advice and interesting conversation too! The staff enjoy what they do. They are a well functioning team providing effective and efficient services. I would highly recommend this clinic.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Since I was rear ended almost a year ago, it’s basically become my home away from home as I am there twice per week. My main therapist is Dan and I trust him fully with my recovery. He is so warm, welcoming and fun that he feels like your best friend. He goes above and beyond every time making sure I get the most out of my appointment. He’s had to request more sessions numerous times through my insurance as his main objective is to get me back to where I was before the accident. He is extremely knowledgeable which was made even more evident by the fact that my MRI results showed what he had told me word for word.

If our schedules differ at times, I will see Erin who is wonderful and is really effective with her manual therapy. She gets into those deeper muscles to make them relax to improve mobility and she’s saved me from many many headaches. One time I had a cold and my sinuses were congested so she added a few acupuncture needles to my sinus area and it cleared me up so I was able to breathe clearly. She didn’t have to do that but did because she cared.

I also see Danny for vestibular therapy for my concussion and again it’s like having a old friend in the room with you. He’s knowledgeable, comforting and has my best interests in mind.

Megan the massage therapist is truly amazing with her hands and knows exactly what she’s doing. I walked in there once like a 90 year old leaning to one side because the muscles in my low back were so tight and sore and I walked out almost pain free and upright. It hurt for awhile, but as she got the muscles to relax, it was such a sense of relief.

I have to mention the front end staff and the physio assistants because they’re all amazing. They always make me feel welcome, they’ve gone above and beyond their duties by handling everything with both my car insurance and personal benefits and they will get me in whenever I need it. The physio assistants always make sure I’m comfortable and well taken care of.

I’ve been to many different clinics in my life as we all have, but this one stands out to me because they really really care about the people that turn to them for help and they genuinely enjoy helping people feel better. I would recommend this place to anyone, anytime.

I HIGHLY recommend the incredible Ryan Agopsowicz for any aches, pains, or injuries you may have. I started seeing Ryan about a year ago for a herniated disc that was pressing on my sciatic nerve and after my first treatment I was already feeling significant relief, and it only got better from there. Now I see him about once a month just for preventative maintenance. Not only is he an extremely skilled and knowledgeable physiotherapist, he’s also just a wonderful human being to be around. You will be so well taken care of! Ryan has such a warm and inviting presence and his energy is truly unmatched by any healthcare professional I’ve worked with. He always makes going for physio a fun experience! You can really tell how much he cares about his patients, and I truly could not say enough good things about him. Ryan is an absolute rockstar!

I have been seeing Dan Timmermans of Leading Edge Physio since January 2020. I have suffered with plantar fasciitis in both feet since 2019. If any one has had this debilitating foot issue, they know first hand the severe pain that a person goes through every day to walk.
Dan is the 3rd Physiotherapist to treat me. He is an exceptional therapist. With his treatments, I have progressed immensely from when I first started to see him.
He is caring, compassionate,

I have been seeing Greg Krook at this location for many years. Greg has helped me overcome and manage many injuries both acute and chronic. Greg is very knowledgeable, skilled and most of all very caring. Greg's expertise has made a positive difference in my life. Greg wants to see you get better, period. I highly recommend Greg and this location if you are ever in need of physiotherapy.

I dealt with these same folks years ago and after being through countless different injuries and physio therapist centers I am so happy to be back with the people that really know what they are doing! It's like being blessed all of a sudden finally getting the relief so desperately needed. I am currently having physio done on my back and in 10 days I will be having another knee surgery on the same knee and have already decided and made arrangements to have these folks look after me, I personally have never found any better and I have had several injuries over the years and been to over 20 different clinics over the last 20 years and I'm just grateful that I am back in the area to get the best possible physiotherapist's I believe there is! 10 out 10 no doubt! My body is proof positive.

My experience was one of arrogance and inexperience. With my surgery, it became very clear there was not alot of knowledge and no willingness to obtain knowledge. My concerns were repeatedly ignored and dismissed. Pp

Great place to go for Physio. The staff are very helpful and the therapists are always cheerful. Atmosphere is great - either music or tv. There is also Wifi. I see Dan - who finds the right spot every time. I have gone for shoulder pain in the past and it was so bad I did not think I could get relief. But I did. It took probably 6 sessions to feel 90% normal. I have also seen Danny and Greg whose styles are different but relief is totally as effective. Their primary goal is to get you functional. This explains why when I accidentally forgot an appt they worked their magic to get me in without penalizing me.
