Easy to book my kids in for teenfit. So grateful to have this offered to the 8&9 students. Lot's of options for them to sign up for. Love the pool and the field house!
There are lots of things to do. Especially watching family play hockey and going swimming. They have a great Pro Rodeo in the spring, too. Along with great trade/craft shows throughout the year.
This pool is never open even when it's open. The parts that are the most useful like the kids center and the less deep areas are never available. We have been here numerous times and they have been closed for maintenance or drained. Their hours for Public swim are 6: 30 to 9: 00. That's the most useless hours ever considering kids have school the next day and littles are generally in bed by 7: 00.
Have had a continuous membership for years and unfortunately had to cancel due to a work move. What I wasn’t told about was the $10 cancellation fee or the 7 days notice they need, resulting in another months dues for something I can’t use.
The facility is INCREDIBLE, but the communication is somewhat lacking. Buyer beware I guess.

It’s an all-in-one to go place for your family with toddlers up to teenagers and granpa/granma can tag along too, and can enjoy this coming seasons.with clean, organized and secure facilities and the price…yea! So affordable! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO YOU!? COME AND CHECK IT YOUR SELF!?
It's a beautiful facility and everything you would want in a recreation centre, including the awesome water park. We had the opportunity to attend a tournament and the rink set-up is great.
Got kicked out of gym for “not working out” right after doing bench press. The staff was not creating a safe and comfortable gym environment. 0/10 don’t waste your money here.
A very clean and comfortable place. The staff are professional and friendly. We went as a group of 5. Two adults and 3 kids. The swimming pool is awesome and there are ample life guards for the space and amount of people. The drop in Art centre has very friendly caring participants. Very professional and willing to share. We spent 4 hours here. I will recommend this as a great place to spend time with family and friends.
The price is acceptable, as a day pass to have access to everything. The wave pool is enjoyable, along with the river flowing section. The large pool is great for laps or taking in the diving boards.take a cold shower to prep for it, haha. Hot tub and steam room are decent for a finish. The gym has basically everything you need. It has great independent workout areas, it's quite spaced out which is alright ish. And it has all the other fields to play on or courts.
Clean friendly atmosphere, all the gym equipment you could ask for. A great pool for laps, pool for kids with a big slide, rock wall to climb. A shallow warm pool for mothers and infants. 2 huge hot tubs and a steam room. Huge indoor track, fast food restaurants inside. Curling, hockey rink anduch more. I'm so happy to been able to use this facility
Been there couple of times and every time we go there the staffs on reception are rude! Horrible customer service! They need customer service training at least. Management, do something about this please.
Nice facility. Friendly staff. As clean as to be expected. Normal things like paper towel and soap not being filled up. Not the biggest deal. But during covid times you'd think they have to do better. Pricing is also fair at 55ish a month as of Dec 2020
I tried to not say anything about this issue but it seems to be happening time and time again. The customer service and treatment to myself an east Indian is horrible. Today on December 1st (130pm) I saw that there was drop in basketball, after my gym appointment I went down to get a basketball. I usually bring my own, but forgot mine today. A Caucasian individual just returned a lrc basketball and thanked the staff. I requested to rent a basketball and sanitize it before an after. They stated that they are not supposed to give out basketballs. I explained that the gentlemen just before me rented a basketball. The lady at the desk stated that it was a one time thing. This is one example of discrimination. Do not get me wrong there about two ladies that greet me and have great customer service but majority of the staff would not be bothered to say hello or anything even when im renewing my membership. Leduc is becoming diverse but it is not represented here at the recreation centre.
Coming from Vancouver I am used to being treated with respect. Unfortunately leduc seems behind on times and would hope for some changes or talks within the organization.
I took my three year old daughter with me to the pool and was very disappointed that she wasn’t allowed to slide with me. I was told only one person at a time. In Edmonton I always went sliding with her together. She loves the big slides and gets very excited about them. She was very sad to not be allowed on it.
Average facility. On first glance there is an abundance of good equipment. However after getting a membership it was dissapointing to learn you cant access the equipment on the upper level without paying extra for a trainer or classes.
Staff were pleasant. Felt bad for them, telling people the pool was full. And having to turn people away. BUT the one lady, went above and beyond. She offered the outdoor pool, even called to ensure they had space, gave directions.
I absolutely LOVE the LRC. A 1 month membership is just over $57, and gives you access to too many things to list! The gym is my favorite, I use to come from southside JUST to workout, and utilize the steam room. The pool is always clean. Tons of space, stream room is… Well… Steamy! They also have TWO hot tubs!
Disappointed as an advid ADULT Mermaid and have never had and issue at any pool that allows monofin. Understandable these fins are unsafe IF NOT PROPERLY TRAINED. But if your requiring mermaids to do 2 swim tests one without and one with your tail, which is not the issue, every other pool i swim at does this, also understandable to prove skill. Some pools even require to tread water for 1 min with your tail on and prove you can escape your tail quick in an emergency situation as we are traind to escape if needed in addition to the swim tests. The issue is after you do ypur swin tests to prove your skill, YOU ARE NOT ALOUD IN THE DEEP END. Their reason? Because you can't touch the ground. Its too unsafe. That's like telling some child hey yes you completed your swim test fine but because you can't touch the ground its too unsafe and you can't swin there. What sense dose that make? Why is a swim test required to swim in the SHALLOW END? If i can prove my skill and ability to swim and escape safely why am i being denied access to a part of the pool I PAY TO USE.
