Leela Eco Spa - Bridgeland

Leela Eco Spa Bridgeland is now my go to spa in Calgary. They are awesome! Great ambiance, good service. They have online booking which is super convenient. I have never had a bad experience there. I see Sara, RMT for cupping and massage and she’s amazing! Very good at what she does.

I went to take my son for a massage as a first time customer and went I went to pay the price was 10 dollars more than advertised on their website. They refused to honor the price on the website due to the fact that their website just got updated and that was the only location that didn't get updated and they actually charge more. I asked if they were willing to lose my whole family over 10 dollars due to their error and they said management refused to budge on the price. Be forewarned that you may go expecting one price and end up paying more!

Amazing experience. I came in for a hot stone massage. Had spasm and tightness over my neck, shoulder and lower back. My therapist Lily knows her subject. Her deep tissue massage made all the difference. Very clean environment and great service.

Colleen gave me a very good massage that really helped reduce the pain and tension I was feeling. SHe has very good pressure and technique, and Add to that the aromatherapy and the whole experience was excellent!

Katie (Chiropractor) is a miracle worker! I leave every appointment with the back and neck pain from my desk job completely relieved! Not only is she extremely progressional, warm and kindhearted; but she really takes the time to tackle each of your concerns head on.

Very calm, peaceful sophisticated place. Wonderful staff. Very simple procedures. Highly recommend for first timers as in they help you decide what are your priorities. Their aroma oils are soothers…. Love it.

As 13 year RMT, in the beginning of working there things seemed to appear like a healthy, positive environment. I immediately made great connections with everyone and cultivated some incredible friendships. However as time went by, I started to see and hear from coworkers about some very concerning issues at hand with management. These issues involved unprofessional communication styles, and the lack of safety when it came to inappropriate male clients. Management would often say one thing on paper (email) to appear they were supporting us but when it came to these clients, but their actions, phone conversations and meetings with me proved otherwise. It seemed to be a regular occurrence where men would come in for a massage and request services of a inappropriate nature putting the RMT in an uncomfortable situation and then never having it handled it properly. There have been several times that my colleagues have shared some unsettling and unsafe circumstances that happened. In some of these cases, these men somehow always managed to book in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time even after an occurence as management did not take these matters seriously enough. In my short time at Leela this has happened twice already, yet never once in my previous 10 years at my other massage employer did this sort of thing happen. In both experiences Leela said they are 'there to support' and that they 'care about our safety" but whenever questioned about it, their reactions reflected different for some unknown odd reason. It appears their common way of handling issues brought up, or even negative reviews left publicly online is to reply in an unprofessional poor way where they take no business accountability. It was very difficult to get them to take any action towards the immediate halting and prevention of allowing these clients to return. We the RMTs had even requested to have a 'black list' like other establishments have in place so that when said events happen, it's handled immediately. We didn't receive that in my time there and if we did, I was never once made aware of this. This also goes hand in hand with how they never bothered to reach out to ask if one was okay after going through such an awful experience, or to ask of we needed anything. Authorities were never immediately involved and in cases never involved at all, due to it 'not being positive ' for the business. I was also not allowed to share my experiences on our own private page amongst my own colleagues in an attempt to create awareness and get support because once again, it was "not positive". I was told to remove my post because the owner didn't want to "broadcast" it and create non positive vibes despite the reality of the situation. It always seemed they wanted to silence us from word getting out that these negative experiences do in fact happen at Leela. I was also told in a meeting that I "should expect this sort of common thing as a massage therapist". Leela claims to be about positive vibes and a healthy work environment for all, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Things seemed okay at first which is why I stayed. But once I started to see what they were actually about, I tried to encourage change but they didn't seem to want change and lived in a delusional world that everything was fine and everyone who works for Leela was happy. Unfortunately most staff may be too nervous to come forward for fear of losing their job, understandably. It's a busy spot that gets booked which I believe is why staff stay, plus our work friendships. Receptionists and other practitioners have also been great! I will say that I'm honored with the fact that they appreciated my hard work and performance in my practice so much that they had even given me a raise! That clearly spoke highly as to what they thought of me as one of their RMTs. However I do hope one day Leela takes the feedback and does something positive and healthy with it that promotes change and betterment.

I have been going for hot stone massage with Leili for awhile now. This lady is magic and makes me feel relaxed. When I walk out of there Leili has made me feel rejuvenated! I love coming to see her and she makes me feel very comfortable! Thank you Leili for making my neck feel much better!

What a wonderful experience! Colleen is a miracle worker! I suffer from neck and shoulder pain due to working at a desk all day, and the strain IS REAL! Colleen uses a blend of different massage techniques that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed after a visit. Also, highly recommend the “Leela essential oil” while you get a massage. The smell and feeling is truly euphoric! Thanks Colleen, your kindness and care is so appreciated!

I had a great experience. Felt asleep 10 mins in my session. Smell great, the vibe was just so amazing. Every ache I had is gone and she even showed me couple of things I can do to prevent any aches.

Been looking for a massage therapist that knows exactly how to relieve my ongoing shoulder and back pains and I finally found Nina! She was amazing! I highly recommend Nina if you are looking for a massage therapist that knows what she’s doing!

Excellent experience! I had a massage with Ella and she was amazing. She really helped with my shoulder pain. She was really calm and she had a pretty good play list going on. It wasn’t that tranquil spa music (not that I hate it) but it was a good playlist to relax too and just a different vibe. On top of it, Ella has a soothing voice, so it made the experience extra relaxing.
I can’t forget the front desk. I didn’t get her name, but she was very friendly and helpful. I’ll be returning again for other services.

Colleen is an amazingly talented massage therapist. She has been helping me so much with my physical mobility due to muscle tension, circulation, sinus issues, and more. She understands the body’s connectivity, and how to facilitate healing, maintain health, and support overall physical well-being.

Lyndsey Haley was a great RMT. She have me some sound advice for my injuries and a great massage. Leela needs to fix their booking system though. It creates duplicates after your first visit. You need to call if you want to book anything

The RMT Britanny was amazing she has some amazing techniques for relaxation the best RMT I'd say in Calgary.

I love my RMT Janelle. I was having very bad shoulder pain and neck pain. I feel much better after being worked on.

Nice day spa in Bridgeland, polite and friendly. Had a couples massage and we had heated beds with nice aromatherapy options. Lots of restaurants and street parking in the area so nice neighborhood to make an afternoon of it. Boutique is across the street so you will need to get fully dressed to use the salon style services vs.massage services.

This spa was a pleasant discovery for me. First of all, they use Mindbody app, which makes booking appointments super easy. They also have a lot of staff available and I could book a next-day appointment. The massage therapist (Sara) was great and the entire massage experience was relaxing. I will be coming back to this location and recommend it to others.

I recently went to the spa on bridgeland and it was an amazing experience. The spa itself is very serene and welcoming. The service was attentive and right on time. The real highlight though was my masseuse, Carla. She personalized a 1 hour treatment based on exactly what I needed. She spent time getting to know exactly what was bothering me, walked me through her process and ended up reducing swelling in my face. I will definitely be back to see her.

Granted it’s been a bit since I’ve had a massage but I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had from Sara. The perfect pressure, perfect amount of conversation, cozy bed warmer. I was so relaxed and felt amazing after. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I love Leela for my massages, acupuncture, osteopathy and other services. The staff are super professional. Ed and Marina are two of my favourite massage therapists, they both know how to get a session done with you feeling the best. Leela Bridgeland is a lovely location as well, clean and comfortable!

An absolutely beautiful spa, and one I would go back to in a heartbeat. Their interior is calm and clean and their staff are friendly and quick to help. The massage was excellent, and they had lovely, relaxing music on the whole time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an exquisite pamper session.

The massage therapists are great there and knowledgeable. But this is the third time they cut my massage short. On a 45 minute massage 5-10 minutes to chat and get changed should not cut into the massage time paid for. Other massage places I visit, this doesn’t happen.

Billi Brocke is one of the best massage therapists I've ever had the pleasure to see. She always knows how to help me work on my back injuries and somehow she also knows just how much pressure I can stand. It's absolutely wonderful and I always feel a million times better after seeing her. Recommend her 100%!

I have gone to Leela for three different treatments and have been impressed with every single one. My most recent visit was with Carla for a Neurofascial Reset and it was a phenomenal and very healing experience.

I have been to Leela downtown for massage many times and it is the BEST massage you will ever have. I can't say enough positive things about them. I went to the bridgeland location for a mani/pedi and opted for the shellac, it was more expensive than the usual mani/pedi option as I knew it was a spa and I was okay paying it. I went on thursday of last week for my birthday, and paid 200$ (again, not about the price). By Sunday, 5 of my shellaced nails were COMPLETELY chipped and even my toes were chipped! If you've ever had a shellac pedi you can't usually chizzle that off! She only did 1 coat of the color and it did not last. For 200$ my nails looked fresh for two days.how disappointing.

My wife and I have been going to Leela for years. Close to 6 years now I think. We've seen many massage therapists over that time but continue to come back because the customer service is great and prices are very reasonable. My wife enjoys relaxation massage while I prefer therapeutic due to several injuries I've had over the past several years. We currently book with Egle (relaxation) and Shondi (therapeutic), and both are great. We will continue to come back because they always take good care of us!

I saw Chantal for a 60-minute massage and it was great. I was having a shoulder issue and she really helped to loosen things up. She gave me some exercises to continue with at home. I really liked Chantal’s approach. She had a good understanding of my issue and gave me a solid, deep treatment. I will book with her again.

It was lovely to be attended to. Got my first facial and it was really nice as well as a relaxing massage!

I had some gift cards to be used for this place and I was rudely called that these were claimed as fraudulent and it added more stress when I was trying to destress. I know this place has been having issues about it but there is a better way to communicate such things. Especially because this was a gift for me.

My massage with Billi was one of the best I've ever had! I have a whiplash injury and she helped to relieve my pain, and helped to increase my mobility. She is genuine and sweet, and extremely talented.

Nice massager, but too chatty.and asks too many questions to engage in a conversation, which should be avoided due to covid especially but also because it is not helping with your relaxation, and if you are a polite person you just answer because you feel bad. The receptionist is not welcoming at all not when you come in and not when you live. Clean place though.

Alexandra Taylor is an awesome massage therapist. She is ver kind, respectful & really listens and apply right pressure according to my needs. I felt very relaxed and was like in heaven during in session with her. It was May be 3rd or 4th time with her and all tension from my specific muscles were gone. I will definitely book with her again. The receptionist have always been very polite, respectful, and during my booking appointments i have always been happy with customer service they always accommodate me with timings and days i require.

Been going to Leela for years. I love this place. All the therapists I’ve gone to have been excellent. Most times I go- Paige is there as Concierge - she’s the best - takes care of everything so efficiently. Everyone is friendly and the products they sell are wonderful too.

Massage was okay i didn't get what I wanted, but man the girl in the front desk has no customer service skills she did not make an eye contact with me when she was talking to me. I'm very disappointed. She was very rude to me.

Mygna is my Osteopath at Leela and she's absolutely AMAZINGGGG! I can't say enough great things about her, she really is the best. I've had new injuries & old injuries totally fixed by her, she truly is a healing wizard. She's also educated me on TON on how osteopathy works. I'll never forget the first time I saw her, she blew me away and I've been hooked ever since. My son is a teenage basketball player and even he's seen her for some injuries he's suffered from & plays/performs better than ever on the court, thanks to Mygna! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.plus Leela in Bridgeland has a great vibe & very relaxing to spend time here (plus there's free parking all around the location).

I love my massages by Katherine (Katie) S. She listens to ny exact needs and really knows how to target the muscles that are tight. She also does cupping if you want. She really knows her stuff!

My husband and I went for a 60-minute couple massage therapy. It was really amazing. I felt so relaxed, I must say this was one of the best massages I have ever got. I would highly recommend Michelle Snow. She just knows what she is doing, her skills are extra ordinary, will definitely see her again!

The overall massage was good but she kept the lights on and it wasn’t spa music playing in the background and she also kept speaking to me for 20/60 minutes of my massage. She was wheeling around what sounded like a noisy chair and dropped oil container it was very loud. Will probably go elsewhere next time for the price of $95 Plus tip I had high expectations which unfortunately weren’t met.

Very professional. Easy to locate. Masseuse (s) (as I visited more than once) are very good at paying attention to specified area (lower back in my case). Please arrive 5-10 mins earlier for finding a parking spot close by and getting over with Covid-19 questions. Direct billing is available for almost all major insurance provider. Highly recommended. We took 60 mins couple Massage.

All of the RMTs (especially Lyndsey H) are professional and respect the pressure of massage that I request (haha, I am a weakling so I can’t handle too much pressure). Very relaxing and safe environment. I appreciate their covid questionnaires prior to the massage and when confirming the appointment. Thank you guys for being an amazing local business!
