Bought two sets of frames and lenses in spring. First time with progressive. I struggle for months trying to adjust. I kept complaining to friends and family that progressives are horrible and they kept telling me "you just need to get use to them". After 8 months of more off than on use, I decided to just get them to put reading lenses into them, I would pay because I'm not using them as they are. When I talked to staff at store about my plight, he said that doesn't sound right. They spent a while diagnosing and analysing the glasses and determined that the lenses were not right. They replaced both sets under satisfaction warranty within 10 days. I like progressives now! It's not only about if they fall, we all fall at some point, is about how LensCrafter picked themselves up afterwards. I respect the continuous effort to do the best they can. They earned my loyalty.

I was taken care of by Shannon at the Kingsway location. I am very impresses with her care and knowledge of the product. I strongly recommend the Kingsway location for eyewear needs. Shannon was super for me but all the staff that I have dealt with there are very patient and willing to spend the time needed to get you into a pair of eyewear. The staff are amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, the store is nice and clean and well organized Unfortunately my glasses came out extremely thick and unwearable, they are even sticking out of the front.my prescription hasn't changed, in fact it has gotten a little better from -6.50 to -6.00 and I've never had glasses this thick, i always get 1.67 lenses and I always get thin wire frames, I will have to return them, even though I absolutely love the frames. This thickness is not the store staffs fault of course but has to do with the lab that made the lenses

Super impressed, the woman that helped me out was able to fix the nose piece of my RayBans super fast, at no charge! She was super friendly and catered to my needs. The sunglasses hut downstairs were about to charge me to fix it, thankfully I went to them instead.
Was a customer for yrs Sad to say its some of the pple they hire are not good customer service pple. Put it this way if I'm a customer and I want to get a certain pair of glasses. Whether there's insurance or I'm paying. It should be my choice plain and simple and recently. They wanna charge you more for extra things like that were never there before. It's amazing? This is my first time at this location. I was greeted promptly. The staff were eager to assist me. All so friendly and accommodating. I was fit in without an appointment. Dr. Tsang was so knowledgeable and explained everything in a way I understood. All optometrist staff went over and above to assist me. I felt like I was a regular client that had been coming here for years! The Lenscrafters staff were also very helpful and understanding. I was given prompt service and got a great deal on my glasses! I will definitely be back!
I've purchased glasses from here, but while that was an easy, pleasant experience, my rave review today is regarding they're fitting service. I ordered glasses online and they squeezed my head like a tube of toothpaste. I went here and pleaded my case, and they were more than happy to heat-gun the arms' positions to relieve the pressure, and for that I am so grateful! Thanks, guys!

Very happy with my visit. Had a pair of lens to switch from a broken frame to a new frame and they took care of me no charge. Also took the time to adjust my frame. Next time I need glasses I will be back.
I had a lady be really aggressive with me today over pricing and what lenses I had asked for. She scared me right out of the store and I abandoned some cute frames that my insurance would have paid for. No wonder people are buying online!

My husband and I came here today in need of new glasses. We didn't know that eye exams could be done in store so we had previously gone somewhere else. We come in with our new prescriptions and were met by the friendliest staff. There were very knowlegeable and worked to get us the best deals.i really liked the people that worked with us (but I'm horrible at remembering names). They guy who did mine was a student optomotrist and I had no idea until it was mentioned. Both staff members that worked with us were awesome. My husband even joked about voting for her for Prime Minister. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.

I worked with Eileen to pick out a pair of everyday glasses and sunglasses. We had such a good time and found two perfect pairs for me. Eileen is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like I was visiting with a friend rather than making a transaction. LensCrafters has always been good, but Eileen is great!
Two years ago, I bought a pair of Georgio Armani frames for my prescription glasses. Again, this year, I bought another pair of transitions lenses on a Prada frame. I couldn’t afford these glasses if it wasn’t for the great discount prices that were too good to pass up. Coupled with that is the excellent customer service. This time QiQi, patiently answered all my questions until I felt comfortable with my choice. Keep up the great service LensCrafters.
Never been to this location before. Had my eye exam at Southgate. I went kinda late in the day. No specific issues. Things are very impersonal now everywhere you go. I'm on Income Support so I only get to chose from a very small selection of frames and got pretty much the same ones I did 5 years ago.now I have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to come in. But things are delayed everywherebi guess. I was kind of excited to go and get them and it ended up being a very mellow dramatic moment, was hoping to sport a new look but ended up with the same boring ones I had last time. I get that we can't get Prada or something covered, bit you'd hope they could at least change up the styles a bit. On the brightside however, I am looking forward to being able to see again.so at the end of the day.they did their job and they did it well.well I hope. Will find out in 2-3 weeks when my Armani Exchange glasses cone in. Till then. I'm still very blind.
I did a lot of reading up on different places to maybe go. But, why fix something that isn't broken? Never had a bad experience and I've been wearing glasses since I was 5. I'm now 41. *yikes*. Hopefully soon people can laugh again and have fun at their jobs. This whole single file military-esque way of life is no fun for anybody.

Kingsway LensCrafters staff was awesome, my 13 year old daughter had broken her glasses at a sporting event and her and her mom glued them back together until we could get into have them replaced. Kingsway LensCrafters was the 4th LensCrafters we checked, they could have the exact frames and lens back to us in one hour, the one at north mount had the Lens and was willing to work with us to find lens that could be covered under the warranty but luckily we didn’t need them. Kingsway will be our first choice from now on. Thank you for you happy and great service.

I have purchased all my glasses for the past 10 years at LensCrafters Kingsway but I will not purchase from them again. I had horrible customer service when I went to have new glasses adjusted. I was told I would get a call when I could come in for the adjustment (they said around 20 min). I sat outside the store for 40 minutes with no call as I watched other customers go in. I then went to the entrance of the store and was ignored for another couple minutes. I am done with LensCrafters.
Thank you QiQi for making the proper adjustment on my sunglasses. I have been trying to have them corrected for some time now. You were the only one that listened and understood what I meant by them not fitting correctly. Your troubleshooting skills are second to none. You took the time to go through the whole process to ensure everything was correct with the lens and lens placement. After you had confirmed this was correct you made one small adjustment and FINALLY I can see properly without any distortion. Thank you so very much. You are the BEST!
Great place to get help with your glasses. We have always come to LensCrafters kingsway and West Edmonton Mall. Wonderful Lady's to help you. Covid safety is also a 5 star sanitized and clean before you sit down. Thankyou for caring! Only thing is if the glasses are not at certain locations they need to offer to order them or get from another location. Would have been very happy to get the ones I loved. These will do I guess, the arms on these glasses are straight and I want bowed arms. Thankyou
I needed 2 get an eye exam done & my prescription eye glasses replaced like 3 years ago. I was actually approved by Indian Affairs back in in late Sept or Oct 2019. I lived in Wellington/Calder area 127street &132 Ave in Edmonton @ those ghetto, piss poor excuse of a Boardwalk apartment complex which I hated but loved the neighborhood. We Got robbed & then 1 unfortunate event after another for the rest of 2019 & all of 2020After 3 evictions & my friend Alex passed. I grieved 4 half a year & then when I had a chance to book an appointment at LensCrafters I did & followed through with it bcuz they have glasses insurance plus it was nearby. The doctor was Uber kind & she made me feel welcomed. THEY DON'T HAVE MANY FRAMES FOR NHIB PRICE RANGE THOUGH. ️
Very professional and friendly staff that make you feel great and comfortable, they have great advice on how you look in all their pairs and I walked out very happy.
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I can't make it zero. My husband medically can't wear a face mask because he has a condition where if anything surrounds his throat or mouth he immediately starts to gag, his throat constricts, and he vomits. He does wear a face shield, and he has a doctors note for his condition. Our family of 4 had an appointment for eye exams. They would only let us in 2 at a time, so I went in first with our 9 yr old son. Apparently they refused to let him in, and were very rude about it. Then they tried to take our 4 year old (who is super shy and afraid of strangers) in by herself as they wouldn't let him in. It was the worst service we have ever had, the lady who denied access had a malicious smile and seemed to take great joy in telling my husband he couldn't come in. I understand the safety reasons, but they went beyond and were quite rude, especially since he can't physically wear a mask. We had gone to this location a year earlier with no problem. But we will not be returning ever again. Customer service is all but gone nowadays.
The medical team and the team in the showroom were very friendly and helpful. I spent a long time trying to make up my mind for new glasses and they were very welcoming. I'm sorry I have a short memory otherwise I would have definitely remembered names. The only bad thing about it is that I had to pay $1000+ for 2 pairs of glasses. I'm glad I went to that store though.
I love lens crafters, been going to them for years, they started next door to my eye doctor, now my eye doctor is in the same space with them and I have always loved the great quality of the staff from lens crafters no matter how many years go by, the staff is always exceptional. (:
Having spent over a thou on glasses at this place, you'd think I'd be entitled to some service. I was having issues with my reading glasses, which another optician believed was a defect in the lenses. At Lenscrafters on Thursday afternoon, though, I was told firstly, it was probably scratches that I had made and then, if not that, I wasn't entitled to anything as my glasses were too old. I asked if an optician could just look at them and without consulting anyone, she informed me that it would be at least an hour for an optician to look at them. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere in the future.
Bought saftey glasses with the wrong perscrition have to wait 45 min for them just to inspect there work, because the staff want to sell glass to other people before the fix problem that there peers have created. Between posting the wrong operating time and staff not bringing able to prioritize taskes in a logical manner it has been a big time waste.

Was in earlier in the month for an eye exam and to purchase glasses. Although I was fully covered through my insurance they couldn't accommodate what I wanted. The Doctor was great but the rest of her staff was not very nice nor were they helpful to my needs. I highly recommend you come here at your own risk. As for the retail side: selection is next to none of you looking for something economical or unique.
