My order for a pair of glasses has been almost a month now and counting…

Update Jan 16/24. Apparently there was a text message that I missed on Jan 5 informing me that my glasses are ready for pick up. I’m changing my review from 1 to 4/5

Would give it a 5 star but every time I go in I have to wait. Went in for warranty lenses to be replaced and had to wait for an optician to check them. They need more help. Min of a 15 to 25 min wait even during the week.

Very professional, and very pleasant experience! I have dealt with the Southgate colleagues for about two decades, and remain impressed by their stellar service. Extra thanks today to Shawn!

Amazing. We were assisted by 3 different ladies. Natasha… Omra (maybe Amra, maybe we’re completely wrong but she was also amazing!) and the third one was the lady who measured our eyes. Didn’t catch her name but she wore glasses that have no prescriptions at the top but they are transitioning. That’s what she said.and they’re see through frames. All three were amazing but the lady with see through frames is THE MOST AMAZING. The customer service we received was on the extreme point. We are impressed.

I’ve been going to the Southgate lens crafters since 2012. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

Karla is amazing. She fixed my broken sunglasses on the spot. Fast and friendly. I’ll def come back.

Natasha was so helpful and extremely kind in helping me fix my frames so they fit me better! I would definitely recommend coming here!

Nick and Vivian from Southgate LensCrafters provided assistance above and beyond what i was expecting. They both were personable, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend going to the Southgate LensCrafters. I will be taking all my family there from now on to purchase our glasses. The variety to choose from for adults and children are amazing. Also highly recommend going in store to get the proper measurements done rather than on line. I did not have my PD on my prescription and online averaged my PD based off the numbers input from the other info. Therefore my glasses would not have had accurate dimensions as my one Eye is different distance than the other and not the same as was averaged online. Thank you Vivian and Nick for all your help.

Vivian was friendly and knowledgeable. And they are now able to direct bill 2 insurance programs.

LensCrafters staff specialy Maria are very friendly and helpful. When I step in the store, she is the one assisted us, gave us tray to choose our frame (even other staff assisted us on payment) and until picking up my eyeglasses, despite it is so busy during this holiday season, she manage to help us adjusting our new glasses and help us with our needs. Kudos to Maria and other staff.

The rep who helped me, Deja, was fantastic! She was great with suggestions, was super helpful and kind with her opinions. Every step of the way was handled efficiently.

Manager is so nice, but sad to say the lens that is installed on my prescription glasses is obviously a cheap and low grade material. It was my first time to purchase from them, and I will never reccoment it to anyone… I went back to my old eyewear provider.

I know that some people would never buy their glasses from a "mere" Lenscrafters, preferring instead a high end store with outrageous prices and colourful, oddly shaped, frames. Each to their own. I like Lenscrafters because there is a wide range of frames and of prices. No matter what your budget, you are made to feel important and valued. The quality of the completed lens with frames has always been spot on.

Amazing service from Divya when I purchased my safety glasses. She was quick and thorough. When I picked up my glasses Maria took the time to ensure my vision was good and my glasses fitted well. She also gave me a had case eventhough my glasses only came with a soft case.

Upon arriving I received help immediately from Nik. He was very helpful in giving recommendations trying to find ways to save me money, as well as offer some advice and his opinion. While there wasn’t much variety to my liking at least the store carried the same frames I wanted from Kingsway mall LensCrafters. Honestly the only downside would be not being able to get my glasses within the same day and within an hour…?

My Oakley glasses I paid $900 for my proscribed glasses.

It was over 1 year the side bar broke. I took it twice they ask me to buy a another frame.

I contacted the Oakley they are covered by them.

Now I am talking to another place to replace the glasses.

I wouldn't recommend the Lens Crafters. They just won't your money.

U been going there for past 4 years.

This location really looks modern after the renovations and they still have a great selection of frames.

I dealt with Brad and he went through all of my options professionally and recommended the new type of lenses they had in with a second "focus point" (don't know the exact term) since I deal with so many electronics. I thought to take his recommendation believing it an upsell with little return on the investment and AM I EVER happy I did!

I've never seen SO CLEARLY and I feel so much less eye strain that I never knew I was dealing with before. Brad didn't oversell it (probably didn't want to come off as pushy), the difference has been incredible and if he recommends it, it's with purpose.

Consider this location for your next pair of glasses and I hope you take my recommendation in dealing with Brad, you won't regret it. His honesty, knowledge and professionalism made all the difference.

I had been going to another lens provider for many years. With covid and all the other stressors in the workplace, their service had really gone downhill. I walked into Lenscrafters and was overwhelmed with the great customer service as well as what they had to offer and the prices. Dealt with Karla Hawkins and Divya Seth. All reps were really friendly, helpful and efficient. Plus I got a great price on glasses for both my wife and I! What more can you ask?

The staff were super pleasant. They took the time to not only fix my glasses but visit with my 5 year old that was full of energy. I will 100% go back.

Lens crafters had beautiful luxury frames. The service was professional and efficient. The pricing was great and well worth it. But I would definitely go back for another pair, and recommend LensCrafters Southgate to anyone in need of new eyeglasses

Stopped by LensCrafters yesterday and went in again today- from the first interactions, you get the impression that customer service in this place is AAA+ and you’re not disappointed. Service was great and I found the exact styles of frames I had been looking for. Priya (Optician’s associate) was fantastic as she took the time (I ask a lot of questions) to explain things to me and found me the best options available for my frames and lens. The Doctor that did my fittings was also extremely nice and polite. I appreciate the service!

We have been clients of Lens Crafters for many years and it does not matter which location we go to we are treated amazing. We met Maria at the Southgate location and it was awesome, the whole experience was fun, it was like we have known Maria forever only meeting for the first time.

I had went into the southgate location to get a replacement pair of glass and Ben placed my order he was awsome I was in and out in no time I will be returning

If I could recommend one place to get glasses this place would be it. The attention to customer care is above and beyond the call of duty - excellent location, clean premises that’s well-lit and filled with tons of choices/options, and a staff that is friendly and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for? It is the only place that I go to get my glasses and it should be for you as well! Kudos to staff for an excellent shopping experience.

I would like the staff at LC to have an open mind when customers are coming back with issues with their glasses. I ordered two glasses. When using the sunglasses, I kept seeing reflective lights sparkling back at me. It was very distracting when I was driving, especially when trying to change lanes. I told LC staff and the lady there made me feel like I was making it up or crazy. She firmly suggested I go back to my optometrist about it. I came back for my second pair of work glasses and asked a different staff about my situation with the sunglasses. He immediately knew what I was talking about as it had happened to him before. Apparently the polarize film had shifted and wasn't laying as should be. It was as simple as him raising it to one of their pot lights and to figure out what the issue was. I am so happy and can't wait for my reorder to come in. I just want to see clearly while having some protection from the sun. Please LC staff we appreciate your help but you are way too happy to see us when we come to buy glasses than take care of us after you've gotten the money. I could have gone somewhere else but I believe in second chances. Don't repeat this to another client. Value us the same way you do when we are buying as when we need your help in fixing your product.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this one is a must. The staff here were all friendly and made me feel comfortable. The staff member who helped me, her name was Divya. She was extremely helpful and went far and beyond to make sure I picked the perfect glasses. It can be overwhelming choosing glasses and she took her time getting me to try a few different styles and gave me her honest suggestions. I don't think I would have been able to pick the perfect glasses without her. It's rare to find people like Divya, who go far and beyond to make you feel comfortable and genuinely give you their honest opinions so that you can pick the right style that looks good on you. Would definitely recommend it!

I had a great experience at this store today. I came in because my vision had changed drastically in one eye and I wanted to change the lenses in my existing frames. I had done some price comparisons and. Lenscrafters was the best price. I went in and they did what I asked and did not try to sell me something else.

We’ve purchased our glasses from the Southgate location for several years and each time we have be treated in a very pleasant and professional manner. The staff is extremely helpful in helping you with your selection. If you happen to have a problem they stand behind their 30 day guarantee. Great selection and service.a 10. During this time of COVID they ensure a healthy environment as they wipe down everything that is touched. Highly recommend

We had such a great experience in the Southgate Lenscrafters. In the midst of a pandemic, I was a little worried about trying to find new frames. I felt so comfortable in the store and the employee was SO nice and helpful.

I've been going to the Southgate Mall Lenscrafters for 5 years now. The staff are wonderful. I like Shawn and Vivian a lot, but Jag is my absolute favorite. They are licensed opticians but they are super humble and helpful, it's such a nice experience. Thanks for years of good visits. I appreciate it.

Way over promised and under delivered. Charged instantly but takes three weeks to return money when order canceled. I would avoid this place with a passion. Then when glasses arrived they had the nerve to call and say the glasses were faulty. The also told me they would cancel the order which they claimed they already did. Too bad reviews don’t go lower then one

If I can give 0 stars, I would! I feel bad giving bad reviews but what they did is so unacceptable. We ordered Dad’s sunglasses for his birthday and was told that it should be ready in 2 weeks. 1 month after and NOTHING. We call and even go to their store just to follow up and we’ve been told that they “LOST” the item so it has to be reordered and we have to wait for another 2 weeks! Thank you for ruining our Dad’s birthday gift. You guys don’t even bother to call or email us about what happened or for updates. Also train your staff to be more friendly and accommodating! Me and my family have been your customers for years and we will NOT buy from Lenscrafters again! To prospect clients, seriously go somewhere else!

I’ve been going to LensCrafters at Southgate mall for years! Always the best experience and the staff do such an amazing job at making you feel welcome. Won’t go anywhere else for my family’s eyeglass’s.

My dad went here for new glasses his 3rd pair he bought there but the one lady didn't seem to want to listen to what he had to say of what glasses his eye doctor recommend, my dad felt like she was treating him like he was below her as he is First Nations and he seems to feel that had to do with the way she was treating him also. She was no help at all and for now on he will be going to another eye glasses place and will Not be recommending this place. In this day and age there should be no racial profiling.

Dr. Denis Meyer at Southgate Centre is awesome. He's been our family optometrist since I can remember.) Divya Seth the Licensed Optician who helped our entire family was awesome too. Sooooo patient and efficient during these crazy days of the pandemic. We'll definitely be back.)

When I first went there they were rude to me and didn’t really want to help and told me to come back another day cause there isn’t time but there was still 30 minutes left till closing.second time I went there again not too helpful only this time was able to get some help only to be rushed out the door after choosing something, they also kept pushing for me to get the extra warrantee. After paying for my glasses I was told to come back in about 2 weeks. When my glasses arrived I got the call to go in to get them which I did but when I got there i had to wait 20 minutes outside in the mall lobby for them to come get me, then when someone was finally free they didn’t bother sitting me down to fit my new glasses on my face and they did it standing up in the mall lobby of the mall just out side their main doors, it was also so rushed and I feel that my glasses weren’t fitted to my face properly and again they pushed for the extra warrantee.
I am very disappointed in the service they provided me, it was very unprofessional and for my first pair of glasses this was a horrible experience.
My glasses they gave me weren’t even cleaned, I understand that I can go back there for readjustments but the point is I’m the customer so provide me the best service you can so that I leave happy because now I have to come back again when you guys could have just done a good job in the first place.

I was there at Lenscrafters southgate location yesterday and i had a bad experience. There were only 2 customers in the store but nobody offered to help and just stared at me. I had to go to the cashier so that my questions will be answered. The blonde girl had the worse customer service ever. Anyway, last 2017 I purchased my sunglasses and eyeglasses here but the customer service back then was not great but satosfactory. I wont be purchasing glasses at this locatjon anymore for sure.
