I made the faux-pas of leaving my transition Ray Ban aviator glasses on my bed which of course resulted in me SITTING on them! Needless to say, my frames were absolutely mangled and one lens shot right out of 'em. They were only a year old so i brought them into the Chinook LensCrafters to see what I could do with them and TRACY was my guardian angel this morning. Seriously she was able to perform a very quick, but precise, surgery on my frames and within minutes my frames were as good as new! Tracy was awesome and she went out of her way to ensure I didn't need to utilize my warranty option! Top-Notch experience with an expert optician who really cares about the customer experience. All the people working at this location are wonderful. Ciara (spelling) helped me with the process of ordering my new glasses. She walked through the pricing and lenses types with excellent explanation and recommended the best options for me individually, and showed the value of the protection plan, which I purchased as well! Overall was a lovely experience, I would highly recommend this store for purchasing glasses.
I went to a few other stores first and chose LensCrafters for their service, product selection, send good promo deals.

Purchased my 2nd pair of designer glasses here for $650. The first pair had to be sent back. 3 years later I ordered another pair. When they arrived I immediately told the clerk they weren't good and she convinced me it was just me. Now it's two months and I know for a fact that in all circumstances I can definitely see better without them and definitely better with my old pair. I don't think I can wear these. They make me crosseyed.

Had a wonderful experience getting our prescription glasses today. Art and Shar were really helpful and very nice!

What offended me the most was the personal digging the lenscrafters man did in order for me to order my frames and lenses. I left without ordering.
Asking my birth date, and all my personal information.
When I asked why he needs my birthday he said because my prescription (for reading glasses) is a legal document and therefore they must be sure I am the same person on the prescription.
Are you kidding? I've been getting glasses my whole life and never been asked my birth date. Also, I don't think companies need all your personal information. Address and email just to order a product. It is a pick up!

I am giving this 4 stars because honestly my experience in the store with people was fine, they were very respectful of my space and my speed at decision making. They also accommodated me checking other stores etc. Top to bottom experience from the people was very good.

However, Lenscrafters the brand is the most expensive, outdated, frustrating company to buy glasses from. If there wasn't a brand and style war between companies I'd never have considered coming in. My partner is picky about glasses types so it is hard to find a match. No website to browse through the pandemic safely. Minimal options and highest price compared to brands like clearly. Just ridiculous. But again the staff was great.

Tracy the associate is so sweet and helpful really wants to make sure everything about your glasses are right and works for you and takes the time to chat with you, remembers details overall really good experience and would recommend to anyone:)

Agree with all the bad reviews on here. Avoid this store at all cost. Do not get them to adjust your glasses. They will damage and scratch them then deny responsibility.

It has been a week because I needed to calm down. I ordered some glasses from Chinook lenscrafters. My optometrist was fantastic! When I went to pick up my glasses the first time I had my contacts in so I took them home and tried them out, I literally could not see a thing. I returned to the optomitrist to see what the problem was. He told me lenscrafters had made them wrong the axis was wrong and the prescription did not match. I then went back to lenscrafters and the person who was helping me took my glasses and left for 45 minutes only to return to me and say there is nothing wrong with the prescription. I went back to the optomitrist who checked my eyes again and rechecked the glasses and again he said they made them wrong. I went back to lenscrafters and the lady again said there was nothing wrong with the glasses! By this time the optomitrst came out if his office and the lady right to his face said he was wrong! I put the glasses down and said I want a full refund, I said I cannot believe that they would hire someone who believes they know better than a doctor! The lady just looked at me like I was the problem. I am very disappointed in the unprofessional manner in which I was treated. I hope no one else has to go through what had too at this lication!

This Lens Crafters location at Chinook Mall is by far one of the better optometrist and has a great selection of eye wear.
Both my wife and myself have made recent optometrist appointments and both selected brand-name eye wear at a very very decent price. I was amazed

I received excellent service from both Dr. Winnicki and the gentleman optician at the Chinook location.they took their time and explained everything well.plus they had a great selection of frames.

The optometrists are extremely kind and professional. At my appointment, my optometrist was very thorough and explained every machine and step as it was my first time receiving a prescription for glasses.

Thanks to the horrible service at Hakim Optical (what a disgrace of an Optical company) I came into here and found 2 new pairs and had great fast and friendly service by Teresa!

Don't buy the warranty they still charge you to fix anything with the excuse of normal wear and tear.

Staff was amazing and pleasant. I would like to suggest updating the Indian Affairs Form. I find it outdated and looks very unprofessional. However, I loved my visit today. Everyone was professional and friendly.

Would give it zeros stars if possible. Had asked the Chinook store to ship my safety glasses to the Core location. Called Chinook when I received an email update and they told me it had already shipped to the Core. Went to the Core on two separate occasions over the next four weeks because I never received a call that my glasses had arrive only to find out they never even left Chinook. I am working shift work and don't have a lot of time in town. Wasting it on locating my glasses is not what I had in mind.

I have been a long time customer at this store for years. I brought my glasses in due to the arm being broken. The first rep looked right passed me without any intent to help. The next rep was just as useless telling me I need to buy new glasses without even providing or checking any options. This place is just a giant money grab with very poor customer service. I can honestly say lens crafters will never see a dime from my pocket again. Customers please be aware once they get their sale the do not value their customers!

Worse service ever! Is all I can say and you know it's the worse when their own Optician gives it a 1 star review. Wow lol! Don't need you LC so many more Opticals in Chinook.

Incredible ophthalmologist (Dr. Yu) and store. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

If you dont have a eye perscription or are not grabbing glasses off the shelf to buy, they will try anything to get you to the door. Just avoid this place. Hurry up and buy is their mentality. Wish I got ladys name. Never going back.

THE SERVICE HERE IS PATHETIC AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT STARTS WITH THE MANAGER WHO JUST STAYED ON HER CELL PHONE AND BOSSED OTHERS AROUND WHILE BEING ON INSTAGRAM. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW LAME THIS PLACE.

Terrible customer service, terrible quality of work. I bought sunglasses and glasses from this store. They “adjusted” my sunglasses and told me that’s the best they will ever be because my prescription is too strong for the frames I bought. My prescription is not strong at all, and the sunglasses ended up visibly crooked on face. They also destroyed the lenses on my brand new glasses adjusting them. They replaced the lenses, but refused to adjust the glasses because they didn’t fit me and I shouldn’t have chosen those frames. When I inquired about exchanging the glasses they completely ignored me and told me they didn’t carry glasses that would be suitable for me. I actually exchanged the glasses at another Lenscrafters store, and the new ones were exactly the same size, they just hadn’t been mangled being adjusted. When I reached out to discuss this with lenscrafters customer service they referred me to to speak with the same person who treated me as a nuisance while I was in store. Save yourself the headache and don’t support Lenscrafters.

Very very disappointed with their customer service. I went to get new pairs of glasses last year. It cost me almost $1,000. They recommended trifocals, two weeks after, I came back as I can not use it for my whole day work on a computer, my eyes were strained, shoulder pain, and headache.too blurred. They Told me it will take time before my eyes get use to it.after 2 months, still blurred. Iso, went back. Guess what another customer service told me, I should not be wearing trifocal on computer. I should be using bifocals. And suggested to get new PAIR. So, I have no choice but to get new pair. This time I only got pair of lense as I can not afford to get the frame after I paid almost 1,000 on the trifocals. After two months I came back for frame adjustment.they told me they are not responsible if the frame brakes during adjustment. I left without having it adjusted.very disappointed! I would not comeback or recommend this store to anybody. I spent 1,300 for two glasses that I'm not happy

On Feb 15, I went to the Chinook Lens Crafters to get glasses. The optician attached to the store was fantastic. The store has been subpar. I purchased two pairs of glasses. For 700 dollars, you would expect pretty great service. I received no help picking frames. 5 days later, I received a call saying both frames were ready, but when I went in to the store the next day, I was unsympathetically told that one pair was being remade because of a scratch and "wasnt I called about it? " (No). I drove from High River with a 3 week old infant, and they didnt care. They also didnt tighten the pair I have enough, so every time I feed, they are falling off. I asked them to be tighter but the lady said if they are too tight they will give me a headache. So will a screaming baby because I keep pulling the bottle to put my glasses up because I cant SEE. At this point I'm unsure if my last problem is due to the optician or the store; the vision through my glasses out of my right eye is CONSIDERABLY clearer than my left. I tried to tell them in the store at pickup and again, I was ignored and told I should just take a few days to get used to it.
