Poor Quality. After just more than a month of wearing my new pair - scratches appeared despite maintaining it well (always in case). Spent 1200 worth of their products and THEY just cant do anything about it - and YES l, I availed their so called scratch resistant lenses. What a rip.

Great selection of glasses. The deals were good too which I appreciated. The staff were very helpful, and professional.

Anneke was really helpful with what I needed. We ordered in a frame that was not available in store and she made sure i got to try on different fitments and lenses (she had to find one from a shipment that just arrived) before making a final decision. Very happy with that help and customer service i was given.

Went to Lenscrafters Crossiron for my son's prescription glasses last August 06,2022 & was helped by Minna, she said Sunlife was down that day so she can't process our claim and asked us to pay in full and just claim with Sunlife, did a claim the same day and it show's Sunlife paid the $100 to Lenscrafters and when we went back to the store to pick up my son's glasses and showed them the email by Sunlife & was expecting a refund ($100), they dont want to do it as they said they refused the payment made to them by Sunlife, until now we are still waiting for them to give us our refund and the manager doesn't take accountability regarding this. I won't recommend this place, when they ask you to pay in full and just file your own claim, please think if you want the stress and hassle they will cause you.

Sitting outside the shop writing this as I had just spent 45 min in there browsing and not a single person approached me. I also made eye contact with the associates for assistance and waited around them awkwardly while they assisted others and they turned away. EVERYONE else was acknowledged. Stay away if your a colored person. I'm so angry. Haven't experienced this in a long time. Today is last day of the sale and I drove to this mall just to go here for glasses so guess im sol. I'll give my future business to second specs again.

I have been to this location three times in the last handful of weeks for picking new glasses, receiving the glasses, and adjusting the glasses. Each visit I was greeted and helped by a different employee. Each employee was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. After a poor experience at a different location, I am so glad to have made my way to this LensCrafters. While the mall can be busy, two of my three visits had little to no waiting time. I highly recommend for the convenience and friendliness.

Customer service was fantastic at every step. Had the products I was looking for and solid recommendations. Glasses came in ahead of schedule. Got the glasses on a great sale to start with, and even better deal was available by a few days later when I was picking up and they gave me the upgrade to the better deal no questions asked. Really awesome.

I came looking for prescribed glasses, I was met with a wonderful smile by employee, she helped us throughout the long process, very wonderful and a crucial aspect to why I continue shopping at Lens crafters. My son does not like to wear his glasses but Stephan was encouraging him to wear them and made it fun for him to pick out a pair. I went in to get my glasses readjusted and let me just tell you how amazing my experience was. Fatima helped me make my glasses feel brand new. Not only did she adjust all the screws, she threw in a few laughs to make the experience even better! Happy I came in, thanks!

They sell products and are reluctant to adjust glasses when they become loose - it’s being done at customer’s own risk. What a time!

Excellent experience. Been having my glasses adjusted here for a few years, and every time they give the best service. My optician Bailey was extremely friendly, and helpful in achieving the perfect fit in my glasses as they were too loose before the adjustment, and was really efficient on time as I was in a rush shopping during the day. As far as Covid-19 I feel really safe coming in here as they still recommend face masks, and all the employees are wearing proper protection, and the location was really clean. Definitely will be coming back for further adjustments, and I highly recommend Bailey for the amazing quality, and service.

Staff are not friendly, they look down on you for some reason. I had asked the front counter file a few questions and you can tell she was getting agitated and not want to do her job.

I bought a Prada and after two months the wire are already getting apart i have to use this eyeglasses for two years but it is already starting to get apart. I purchased a protection plan i thought it will help but they asking me for additional money. Expensive price with low quality i will not recommend this store to my family and friends.

Was VERY disappointed in this location. Last year, I got the best customer service here and ranted and raved about how wonderful they were. Went back today looking to get glasses for my kids and was flat out told that if I was not purchasing today, we were not allowed in the store! How do I know if I want to purchase if you won't even let me in the store. I understand Covid Rules and respect them, but was absolutely disgusted when I was told this! Can you imagine trying to buy a car and being told that you have to make a purchase in order to come in and look? ! Give your head a shake and rethink your business policies. The girl at the counter is very snobby and giving my wife attitude and snarky remarks thinking she’s better than everyone, You’re a secretary sweetheart get off your high horse and be nice to people. I would rather go blind than deal with this store! Management needs to rethink who they have representing the store!

Purchased Ray Ban prescription sunglasses at the Crossiron location. I have a warranty claim as the gold is peeling off the frames. I had all my original packaging and receipt with me and went to the mall as soon as it opened today. I brought them in as per the below direction from the Ray Ban Canada website. Was told I had to do this process myself on line.even though it clearly states that the warranty claim should be managed by the retailer if purchased in store within the 24 months, with the receipt. The individual was rude to me when I questioned why they couldn't help me. They didn't even look at my glasses. I later called the store and spoke to the manager and she said they were very busy, and they wouldn't be doing anything different than what I can do on-line myself, so it was my choice to come back or not. I have attached the direction from Ray Ban below.which clearly states the retailer will help. Zero customer service to help an individual navigate the warranty process, and during COVID turning a customer away when they have come to the mall, which isn't a comfortable thing to do right now. I was really disappointed with the whole experience.

If you made your purchase in store please contact, anytime within 24 months from the date of purchase, the retailer where you bought your product.
A proof of purchase will be requested as part of the warranty assessment.
Depending on the issue, the frame or corresponding defective part will be replaced or repaired directly by the retailer

Got 3 pairs of glasses all together, computer/reading glasses, regular glasses, and sunglasses. The selection was fantastic, I had no problem finding three distinct pairs of glasses. Lots of brands like Tiffany's and Prada and Vogue. It didn't take long to get them done and they were all done correctly! Everyone in the store was very friendly and helpful. Anneke, who I believe is the manager, was professional and very knowledgeable, and funny. I had a good time shopping and I love my new glasses. 15/10 Would recommend

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
RUDE & OVERPRICED
Dr. Zain Abbas was disrespectful, rude and completely lacked a sense of compassion. I asked him to stop his tirade on me, but he just continued. He used guilt and shame like confetti and could not help himself from imparting his negative outlook on the aging process. Apparently at 45 life is all downhill from here concerning my body & “degeneration” as he so eloquently stated. I was in such a state of shock that I numbly proceeded with the exam. I should have walked out, but did not because we were already one exam in for our family of six and I had to pay anyway.
Bad choice on my part.
We will never go back.

I’ve shopped with LensCrafters for years. They really offer quality products and EXCELLENT service. If your in need of reading or sun glasses don’t hesitate to shop here (Cross Iron Mills) or any of their locations. I’ve shopped at the other locations over the years as their inventory can vary a little from each location.

I want to thank Dr. Zain & Bailey for answering all my questions. They really knows about there profession. They've been very helpful.

I had originally just gone on an expedition to find out what was available price and selection wise as I had never shopped at LensCrafters before. It was a Sunday, the ladies working all offered their assistance and then Anneka stepped up, showed me what would work, but also left me some space to make my selection. Next thing I knew, she found a spot for me with the doctor next door and within two hours I had ordered a set of progressives for an unbelievable price. I was impressed, can't wait to get my glasses. Anneka even offered to have my glasses sent to a location closer to my home. Wonderful, thank you.

Terrible.

Had issues with my glasses after two weeks of being told my eyes will adjust, they did not. Tried for a refund and was told to give it one more week to adjust.

Had a family emergency and had to leave the province. Went to a Lenscrafters in Winnipeg, was told they would not refund me without original receipt and to wait for my eyes to adjust. Phoned Sara at the Chinook location who confirmed they would extend past the 30 days return policy so I could focus on my family.

Few days after my 30 days, visited the Chinook store for a refund and was told I could be refunded, but they suggested giving my eyes one more week to adjust. Still no success, I tried to refund again, and was told I could be refunded but they suggested to get my eye exam redone, as the issue was not the glasses but my prescription. Due to COVID, I had to wait 10 days to get a retest. They told me no problem and take my time.

No change in prescription, so I returned to the Cross Iron Mills Lenscrafters to get a refund and was now told that a refund is only possible up to 30 days because of insurance fraud.

So even though, I was clearly trying to find out why my glasses were not working for me and followed their poor suggestions, was told I could get my refund but should try just this one more thing to make sure I needed to return my glasses, all the sudden its was not possible when it finally came down to it.

This is poor customer service, I feel like I was not properly listened to or taken care of and completely taken advantage of. For a new glasses owner, this has made my transition to needing glasses very frustrating and a terrible experience from three different Lenscrafters locations.

Thank You for the awesome service and always being there to help. I recommend Calgary Vision for eye exams next to Lenscrafters at Crossiron.

Staff Bailey is very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked for estimate coast but Bailey gave me all options and I decided immediately to order.

On June 10th, I tried to take a look at their prescription sunglass options but the employee informed me they did not allow any browsing, only purchasing, because they had to sanitize the sunglasses afterward. This would be excusable if this was the standard of practice across all the glasses stores, but other stores in other Calgary malls during this pandemic have allowed me to browse their options without requiring me to provide a guarantee I will make a purchase. I'm not sure I understand how a customer can know they want to make a purchase without first trying the glasses on. Furthermore, the store was mostly empty only had one other customer in it.

I should note other stores were also sanitizing the glasses afterward, and this did not seem to be a barrier to customers browsing the glasses.

Came to lenscrafters. Had to get last minute contact. The receptionist shukria was excellent.
Would recommend this place as customer service is number 1.
