The delivery guys were professional and respectful the entire time while delivering my furniture.

All of the staff that I dealt with were wonderful, including the delivery service personnel.

Ordered a bedroom suite in June 2023. I am still waiting for a piece with no solid date when it will arrive. Originally told me 4-6 weeks. Actually took twice as long. Order still not complete. Frustrating.

We purchased the L2 13.8 cu.ft. Upright freezer which also can convert to use as a refrigerator. Sales person was Sergei, who was very helpful without any high pressure. We are very happy with the sales service received as well as the freezer we purchased. Have had the product for about two months now.

Leon's delivered us a broken TV and refused to take accountability. My family has been a loyal customer at Leon's Furniture Store in Red Deer for many years. However, this passed year, we experienced incredibly inconsiderate customer service that continues to have negative repercussions nearly a year later. In December 2022, my parents purchased an 85" TV with insurance, which the sales associates talked them into buying. The sales associate claimed they had a great and reliable insurance policy. This is not true.

The TV was delivered to our home by Leon's Furniture. Upon opening the sealed box and turning on the TV for the first time, we were shocked to discover that the display was immensely damaged. We called Leon's that evening, but there was no answer. Thus, we phoned again early the next morning, where we spoke to the store manager, Liz. Liz was very rude and dismissive, claiming that this was no longer their problem.

Given the TV was delivered to us broken, we returned it to the store. Liz was again dismissive of our concerns, and has refused to give us a refund to this day. We have tried to deal with Leon's regarding this issue privately, but now as a last resort, we are writing this review to prevent this from happening to other customers. This experience has shown us that Leon's has no accountability and does not appear to care about their loyal customers beyond closing a deal.

Well I’m very disappointed, my sales rep was amazing, delivery was amazing, but the fact that upon arrival, my easy base frame did not come with all the pieces. I received my delivery around 3pm today.

The box was obviously returned at some point, I would assume since it was taped together, however while trying to assemble it I noticed the hardware wasn’t in the box. I called customer care and they said they would look into it and call me back. I never received any response. I went down to the store at about 6: 15pm and they had a bag of hardware waiting for me accompanied with a “oh sorry, we meant to call you. ”

My 7 month pregnant wife and I, carried on with the rest of our evening returning home at 9: 15pm tonight for myself to assemble the base. Upon attempting to assemble again, I noticed they only sent us with bolts and screws. I come to find out it is missing: the 4 legs, the 4 right angle mounting brackets and the 2 metal support legs for the cross members that support the slats.

Needless to say, I guess the pregnant wife and myself will be sleeping at floor level tonight and now she has to endure the hardship of getting off the floor multiple times a night. Thanks Leon’s, I’ll see you tomorrow.

I want to start this review off by saying the salesman and delivery team were great!
My husband and I purchased a new mattress and EZ Base frame from Leon’s and the frame was delivered with the hardware and instructions missing from the box. We called them and told them the situation, which they thankfully had the hardware for our frame, so we picked it up. The store is now closed and we are left at home, not able to put the frame together because we weren’t given all of the hardware pieces needed to complete the frame. This usually wouldn’t be such an inconvenience, however I am 7 months pregnant and have a hard time getting out of bed as it is, not to mention out of a bed that is at ground level. We will not be buying any furniture from them in the future and will not be recommending them to any friends or family.

I have bought washer and dryer from Leon’s couple years back with extended warranty but now having problem with washer it’s been 5 weeks now still dealing with warranty company and trans global company for repairs technician did change some parts but did not make any difference trying to contact Leon’s they alert directing me to insurance company just frustrated don’t and I’m not getting and solution no wager for 5 weeks now have 2 kids

I went into Leon’s today to purchase a dining set. My husband and I were in sitting at a dining set for 15 mins and not one salesperson came to talk to us. We ended up walking out and purchasing a set at Ashley furniture. Where we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and had excellent service.
I wouldn’t recommend Leon’s to anyone!

I am very disappointed. I was dealing online and Leon's and they said they wouldn't deliver to Sylvan Lake AB. I have purchased over $5,000 worth of furniture and I"ll be buying more, so there loss for poor service. I am so disappointed that I was lied to. I told the online person you had a store in Red Deer 20 kms away.

Great service, great 60 day price guarantee, it saved me 300$ on my Oven delivery personnel we’re quick, careful and polite. Will be shipping at Leon’s for all my home appliances and furniture from now on! Great experience! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the oven took a while to come in so that was a little inconvenient, but nothing major.

Great customer service and sales service. Unfortunately their delivery team is pathetic. They stratched my hardwood really bad. I called to let them know and I was told the manager of the delivery team at cross iron mills leons would call me. Well it's been 4 weeks, I call every week, but the manager won't call me back. I won't shop here again, purely because they can damage your property during delivery and then they ghost you. Could NOT be u happier.

Ordered a set of end tables and a coffee table. Ordered end of April. Took over 3 months to arrive. We paid for the setup and removal of all the packaging. The delivery guys, dumped the boxes in our living room without a word and left without doing anything.
Will NEVER be shopping here again and won't recommend them to anyone.

Brutal. Never been in a worse store. Waited 20 minutes for a salesperson to help. To busy enjoying their gossip session. We just left. Looking to buy a Bedford our grandson.

Disappointed with our experience here. Had a LARGE mishap with a new salesman, and the manager I spoke with Liz, was the least helpful person I have ever spoken to. She was condescending, and tried blaming us for not being aware of information the salesman regretted to tell us, but made sure to say multiple times "but I'm not putting this on you guys".
Basically "Acknowledged" the mishap but what was heard was "sorry not sorry".
Would return to Leons, but not this one just to avoid this manager and salesman.

Have been contacted for sales purposes time and time again, even after calling to get my phone number removed from their system. Today is the third time ive had to call and ask to be removed from their system, which is absolutely ridiculous. I would recommend buying from a different store, or at the very least, not giving them your phone number, because this location and company clearly does not value customer service.

Not overly pushy sales persons. Kind and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. Added bonus is the flexity card which you can make payments on each month.

I've lived in this city for over 40 years and shopped in nearly every retailer in this area. Nowhere have I found a more customer oriented sales team and management system. I am not only a Leon's customer, but I am also very proud to say I have been a part of there sales team for nearly 5 years.
This review was posted originally 3 years ago in the spring of 2016. I have revised it to some degree but felt it needed to be re-submitted.

For every bad review submitted, there are 20 good ones that haven't been submitted. The average consumer expects no hassle, convenient and problem free purchasing. When this transpires as expected there is most often no point of reference.
As with any retail business, unforeseen problems can and sometimes do occur. Leons products are shipped from all over the world and often some of the stock is last seen prior to being put on a freightliner vessel off the shores of China before it ends up in a consumers home. It's frustrating for both the customer and the Leons representative to resolve issues that originate at the manufacturing plants. Common sense and patience will always bring about 100% satisfaction in the end.

I've purchased numerous pieces of furniture from Leons in Red Deer including a leather sofa, a dining server and a pub height dining table and chairs and also numerous electronics items. I have not had an issue with the service, the sales associates or any other faction of their establishment right down to the courteous fellas on the delivery truck who brought me my product.

BRAVO to all at Leons for making me and my family feel like we are " Part of the family".

My mom purchased a LG fridge. The freezer door seal is missing so the door wont close. She has called for warranty repair multiple times. No one will help or do anything. She called today and Liz is on holidays. Even thought she has spoke with her multiple times and Liz has assured her she would help. What the heck is going on guys?

Michael helped us to find just what we were looking for at a good price. Free delivery was an added bonus!

Nice sales people. We had a couch delivered that had one of the legs broken. The delivery people from Leon’s took pictures of it and told us to call in for a store credit. When I called in 10 days later they said it was too late that it was out of their policy window even though the pictures were taken within 30 seconds of being delivered by their own delivery people. Unbelievable.

The store was bright and clean. The sales person (Austin) was helpful when we had questions, but also gave us space to try out the furniture without hovering.

We were on the hunt for a bed and Thess Vega was our girl! She was great! She was not pushy, but sweet and nice. She gave us all information necessary and in the end found a great bed. Thanks Thess.

Got what I wanted and it was delivered in good condition when promised. Thess was pleasant yo deal with.

Service during buing, and delivery was awesome. If your looking for furniture you should definitely add Leon's to your list to check and buy

The staff were great. First interaction with a salesperson: I stated I was happy exploring on my own when asked if I had been helped. He happily let me browse in peace. Then when I had thoroughly explored the store and stopped upon an item of interest, a different salesperson checked in and helped me with my purchases.

Overall the staff here were very friendly and I didn't feel pressured at all to make any purchases. They even indulged me in some banter while finding the information I needed and assisting me with my purchases.

I would definitely come back and recommend shopping here.

Great experience purchasing and delivery. Installation was a lot slower than suggested at the store but it’s a third party and not really much Leon’s can do. Will buy from them again for sure!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Within the first week of having my couch (January 2021), the foundation of the arm piece broke. I called for a replacement piece, after a month they finally arrived.with the wrong piece. It is now mid May and they still can’t seem to deliver me the correct piece. Today they finally delivered the correct piece but failed to include the entire back of my couch! So now I have to rest my back against my wall when sitting on my couch since they failed to include the back rest foundation. Will this take another month for them to deliver this piece!? And once it does get delivered will it even be the correct piece!? I will not be buying from here again, or will I recommend anyone to shop from here.

They are easy to talk about the is issue. They fixed the problem regardless with the pandemic and brings a bug difference.
Bring the issue to them in a professional way and it brings the return amazing.

Tried to enter Leon's today, I have a health concern that prevents me from wearing a mask. I was denied entry.to be discriminated against because of a health issue is so hurtful and I'm glad that The Brick and Ashley homestore didn't feel the same as Leon's so that I could but the things my home needed.

Terrible customer service. We ordered a dishwasher over two weeks ago and still have not received it, nor have we heard from a sales rep to let us know the whereabouts of the appliance.

I went to leons for a couch to fit in my big living room, not too small but not too big, just right. If it wasn't for dharam I wouldn't find a good couch. Thanks alot dharam!

I have been to Leon's Furniture to purchase a new mattress and I highly recommend buying form Mike York. He is very knowledgeable.friendly and funny too. We had some good laughs. I will be back again for my next purchase thanks to Mike.

I have to say, I used to dread the idea of spending frustrating days furniture shopping, but all that changed when my husband and I visited Leon’s (Red Deer) and were helped by Cole Ashton! He is an incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable salesman, a nice change from the pushy and arrogant employees at other stores. Although we live in Edmonton, we will make the drive down to Red Deer because of the incredible customer service! He has single handedly helped us furnish our first home, and we are so pleased with both the quality and the price point of our new dining set, couches and sectional! I highly recommend both Cole, and Leon’s Red Deer!

I am planning some larger purchases so have been looking around our local furniture stores. Even though he knew I was not purchasing that day, or necessarily from Leon's, Mike York took me under his wing. He answered all the questions I had. Very knowledgeable and patient. Came into the story not completely sure of what I was looking for, but with the help from Hannah I found the perfect piece! She was very friendly and competent!

Everytime I visit Leon's furniture, it's like visiting family. Mike York's expertise and knowledge puts me at ease everytime I add a new piece of furniture to my beautiful home. I will only shop at Leon's, because Mike York gives me the utmost respect and personifies class. In fact, I'll say he's kind of like the big brother I never had. I love my sectional.

Went to Leon's to look for a bed for a decent price, was helped by Dharam. Awesome guy and gave me a good bed for a good price, he was very nice too. Will be shopping here again

I bought a Rockford sofa from a salesman named Mike couple months back. One of the best customer experience I ever had with anyone ever. The couch is amazing as well

We stopped in to check out bunk beds for the grandkids. Mike York pointed us in the right direction and then gave us time to look them over before asking if we had any questions. His sales approach was great as he gave us the answers professionally and wasn’t pushy. We checked out a couple other stores but came back to buy from Mike.

Always get treated very well here. The GM is awesome, customer service is polite and helpful, delivery guys are great, and the sales people I've dealt with have been good as well. They also honor their price guarantee period so you can always get the best price. Definitely recommend checking out Leons Red Deer if you haven't yet!

I very much enjoyed the customer service and sales techniques from this store. One particular employee, I believe his name is Mike York, was extremely informative, and answered my questions about everything I needed to know, was very knowledgeable about the products I needed to know about, and a personable guy! Very exceptional customer service from mike, he is very understanding in what you need and knows everything about every product you ask about, he helped me find exactly what I needed for very good and affordable prices! Prices are good. Supply is marginal due to Covid. Service was great. Sales guy was a little pushy but it all worked out pretty good.

Recently I had the wonderful experience of buying a few appliances with the help of thier sales associate Cole Ashton. Cole took the time to show me all different options available, and didnt try to pressure me into buying something that was more than what I needed. He gave helpful information, and genuinely wanted to make sure I would be happy with the appliances I purchased. Looking forward to working with Cole again for purchases down the road!

Cole Ashton has assisted my wife and I multiple times to furnish our home. From tables to couches he was our man. He offered a low pressure sales environment, was knowledgeable of the products, and made the process stress free (even easy) with his professional and friendly personality. I'll continue to recommend Cole and the Red Deer Leons in the future!

We are doing a basement in our house and have been to Leon's Red Deer to purchase all of our furniture for it. We dealt with Hannah in sales and can't say enough good about her. She isn't pushy, is very kind and patient while we shop. She has excellent product knowledge and always keeps us up to date with sales.
