Brandon and mill and the other girl that was there with the two of them were absolutely amazing! Will be back to see them again. Can’t wait! Thanks for the great service and hospitality.

They have the best deep-fried cheesecake I've ever eaten and as of the last time I was there it was only $4. $4? ! In this economy? The rest of the food is delicious too, staff are super friendly, there's stuff all over the walls to look at. It's a good time.

Came in for some poutine. Mickey was an awesome server and the Christmas decorations were fabulous

It pains me to say.my first time at this location didn't go well. The food tasted delicious, as always. Atmosphere and staff are also fantastic! They are super nice and addressed my issue. With that said.it took over 30 minutes for my food to get to my table. The chicken in my sandwich was cold but my plate was a furnace from the heater. It clearly sat in the window for a while. They made fresh fries at least. My partner didn't finish he meal because her eggs were "rubbery" after sitting in the window, bun was hard on top, soft on bottom. Here's the thing. It was Saturday, just before lunch, one person working the whole room. Server, bartender and food runner. They were packed soon after we arrived. It wasn't her fault, the team to help her wasn't there until the rush was well underway, clearly scheduled to show up around noon. I'm disappointed because this is my favorite place to eat. They needed to schedule people to help transition that rush, not come in and "make the best of a bad situation". My server could probably tell I was annoyed, because I didn't see her at our table for the rest of the time we were there. I had to leave to pay for more parking when I paid for 1.5 hours. I still tipped well and didn't bring this to the staff because it isn't on them, it was a clear scheduling issue, running the place on a skeleton crew on a Saturday morning close to lunch. I will return for sure. I just hope I won't eat cold food again because my server is being pulled literally dozens of directions at the same time. She was great! They even thanked me for my patience. Honestly I normally would be, but after working in restaurants for years in my 20's, I know a bit about this topic. This shouldn't happen on a busy Saturday at lunch downtown. Especially with the cost of eating out these days. I will change this review if I feel this is somehow resolved or if my next visit goes much better. Until then, my review must reflect my visit.

I met some friends here at 11AM for brunch. After ordering our food it took over an hour for us to get our meals and our server only brought our food out to us when after waiting over a hour I inquired what was taking so long. At this point our server went to check with the kitchen and our food brought out shortly after, but when we received our meals the plates were hot, but the food was dried out and parts of our meals were cold. They also got part of my order wrong, but by that point I was pretty hungry so I didn't want to wait longer. My sausage patties were dry and hard to cut through and my eggs like rubber. My friends hot sandwich had cold chicken in the middle of it. It was clear our food had been sitting for a while under a heat lamp. I don't blame the server though. The place was packed and they seem to be the only staff on hand. They were trying to run tables for the entire restaurant as well as work behind the bar and when I looked around in the hour that we waited for our food none of the other tables had anything on them either. It seems like the staffing at this location is very mismanaged. I don't know why they only had one person on for a Saturday morning downtown, but they definitely need more staff or needed to turn some tables away so they could manage the tables better. Leo's normally makes tasty food, but I wouldn't go to this location again and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

10/10 vibes, always come here with the homies at Anejo after work on tuesdays because the drinks are unbeatable and after a long night in the industry you need food! Leo’s has the best late night menu and Mickey and Autumn make my post work drinks very very enjoyable. Will always come back

Fun and friendly place for a night out. I had an excellent club sandwich and the plant-based vegan options look great too. I'll definitely be back to try more menu items.

Great food and friendly service. I highly recommend the beef dip, and the hot wings.

The bar is also very entertainingly decorated.

Only loses 1 star due to the card machines having 20% as their lowest default tip amount which seems very greedy and rubs me the wrong way (edit: it now is 18% however the next 2 options start at 22%).

Had a great experience here. After being disappointed by the portion sizes of the tacos at native tongues, I came here and got a taco to compare. The tacos here arent authentic at all, but I'd say they taste better than the ones at native tongues, albeit at a slightly higher price. The service here was great and prices weren't outrageous.

We went to the downtown location on Saturday. The food came after 40 minutes.and the fries were all burnt it was impossible to eat.too dry and burnt.even the poutines fries were burnt and like rock. Not a good first experience!

Wait staff is nice but not very knowledgeable, and the bartender was killing the vibe %110. Had to look for the bartender and then he refused to serve us without wait staff

Its was disgusting doesnt make sense there poutine with mac nd cheese, we ordered a crispy chicken nd we got a fish burger thats wasnt good at all, only good thing is the fries

Most amazing services! And beyond just the food. After a long night of stampeding and questionable decisions led me to Leopold's at the end of my night with NO phone or wallet. The GM of this fine establishment got me an uber to get home safe and sound. Then when I tried to pay him back the next day he wouldn't let! My prayers go out to everyone that works there

Burgers were large and good, Scotch egg was very good. Cheeseburger Poutine was enjoyable. Kiwi our server very pleasant.

Solid crew, great food, good selection of brews and pints! A great location to start your night and the kitchen is open late!

Went on a half of wing night, still somewhat expensive for what you get. But otherwise everything else was delicious and the guy that was a server was so nice and helpful.

Was in Calgary this past week and was looking for something to eat for dinner. Was looking at places around our hotel when one menu item caught my eye. Bucket of Bacon. The decision was made. So off to Leopold's Tavern we went. As it was a Tuesday evening there were not a lot of patrons so we easily got a seat. We ordered drinks and then appetizers. Mac and cheese bites, salt and pepper boneless wings, and of course the Bucket of Bacon. As for the mac and cheese bites, they were ok. We should have gone with the marinara dipping sauce as that may have helped. They were ok, but not life changing. The boneless wings were delicious and we opted for the hot wing sauce for dipping. Crispy with that nice salt and pepper taste and the hot sauce for dipping was a nice addition.

As for the bucket of bacon, we chose the maple dipping sauce and it was fantastic. Nice thick-cut sliced bacon cooked crispy. I can not stress enough how delicious this bacon was. Just the right amount of saltiness and when paired with the maple syrup dip it was heaven. I did a double-dip from the maple syrup into the hot sauce which elevated the bacon even further. So the two sauces were combined and this helped both the bacon and the boneless wings.

If you find yourself in the beltline near Hotel Arts I encourage you to stop by. We're looking forward to our next visit.

I expected way more from the poutine as I have seen several ads for it. Tacos were decent but over all nothing stood out to make me want to return.

Worst meal. Ordered from Uber eats. Delivery time says 6: 11. Showed up at 6: 50. Everything ice cold, half the order missing and the food that did show up was soggy and gross. Won’t try this place again!

Probably my new favorite place to eat! I've always wanted to try Leopolds tavern in Winnipeg, so when I was in Calgary and saw that they had one i had to go! Great food, excellent in house beer. Pickled spears are juicy and perfectly fried. Shrimp tacos were to die for.

The house poutine was Amazing! Great pub with 20oz.pints and a Dill Pickle Burger. It was our midnight snack spot. Staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend next time you're in Calgary!

I ordered a meal for my family on Uber eats tonight from Leopolds Beltline. To say that I am upset about this is an understatement. The order came 30 minutes late and the half of the order that came was cold and the burger smelled rancid. The other half never arrived. I would never order this wretched dog food again.

I’ve been following leopards on Instagram for a while and couldn’t wait to try it. Finally did, and it was worth every minute of waiting! I had the best quasidilla I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The rest of my party said it was some of the best restaurant food they’ve had as well.

Just ordered from them on Skip, don’t remember the last time I tried some place new and enjoyed it…today was amazing! Leopoldo knocked it out of the park! Great Burger! Perfectly prepared, great flavour, fresh toppings and an awesome bun! You could tell the brigade put a lot of effort and care into the entire meal. Appreciate it guys! Will order again for sure, very very satisfied haha!

Very disappointing. Ordered black and blu burger w/ no onions, came loaded with onions mixed in with lettuce and blue cheese. After trying to fix it. Ended up with a bland expensive plain burger. Definatly not worth it.

I ate here/drank here a couple of times when they first opened so it may have changed, but I found it dark and cramped inside, food was average, and it was too loud to talk to anyone.

This place has been consistently awesome! The poutine and sandwiches are unreal. And to the Leo’s team that worked on March 16th: You’re brilliant, thank you! My friend had previously called in about the chicken ciabatta that wasn’t available on the menu. And after we decided on what to eat as a substitute, we placed our order online through your website with my phone linked to it. Somehow you knew and went above and beyond to write us a sincere note and personalized our experience. It was awesome and we appreciated it! We will definitely come in for beers soon.

Man, the variety and prices on drinks here are actually fantastic. The service here is great too, very much appriciated.

The food is legit. Cauliflower wings are awesome, the chicken fingers are real chicken and sooo crunchy. Fries are good but I personally prefer thicker cut fries. The poutine was all right but the gravy tastes like it’s from a package. But the rest of the food is really good:) happy to support these guys with take out during the lock down.

Atmosphere here is pleasant sometimes can be a bit loud, food is on point and drinks are served up quick always enjoy coming here.

If you're going to leave an option to be notified by text on your delivery website, and you don't text when the food is ready don't bother creating that option. Would also appreciate having forks to eat my food with.

We were visiting from Saskatchewan on Friday night. Love that we can go to any Leo’s and it automatically feels like home. Our server was wonderful! Best place for a beer & poutine!

I ordered ubereats, and received some of the best packaged to go food I’ve ever had! I loved the instructions on how to add your sauce to wings, the marketing stuff was great! Good quality food too! Wish there was an Edmonton location (hint hint ;) )

My favourite place to eat lunch pre covid as it was close by my work.

The place is small and gets busy at times but if you’re willing to wait, you won’t be disappointed.

They specialize in poutine and which changes weekly. I typically check their Instagram to see what crazy poutine concoction they have to offer that week.

Since I haven’t been here since March (when we started working from home) I thought I’d ease myself back and got a side of poutine with my turkey club sandwich! They were both amazing! I miss this poutine and I can’t wait for things to get back to normal again!

Sooo impressed with this place! Brunch was an awesome deal, fast, and cooked perfectly. The ceasars were literally some of the best we’ve ever had. Yumm! Just look at this perfect chicken and waffles.

These guys always have new featured foods and a decent beer selection. The staff are super friendly and the service is great. The only thing is in the summer it's cooking inside. Needs AC

Relatively newer entry to the Calgary bar scene, but has become one of my most reliable favorites over the past year. Tasty and varied menu whether you want a snack or a full meal. Good drink selection and specials. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe at all hours. Would especially recommend it as a place to stop for a drink before (or after) a Flames game.

Love their vegan/vegetarian selection- specifically the poutine and cauliflower wings! Good vibes for an evening with friends. Also great for doggy friends during the summer on their patio!

Went there last night with a group of my friends and was asked to leave because "there was no room for us", which is absolutely ridiculous because we saw a lot of room for us. Anyway it was a clear the difference between my group of people and the people that they wanted in there so we left peacefully and spent our money at Ship & Anchor as well at Nationals on 17th two wonderful establishments not far away. Needless to say we won't be back to Leopolds Tavern. I suggest you save your time, yourself the embarrassment and do the same.

Formulaic pub style bar. There's nothing exceptional about Leopold's. You can get most of the usual pub fare with a beer. This is how Canada interprets a UK pub. It's fine.

FISH TACOS ARE AMAZING! Service is fantastic and value for the money in downtown calgary is great! Looking forward to going back again soon. Like tomorrow.taco Tuesday!

Sadly, they messed up my wife's vegetarian order and she ate a few pieces of chicken. That is really tough when you have not eaten meat for more than two decades.

Other than that, the service was good considering it was very busy. The beyond meat burger (no meat) was fantastic!

Cute little neighbourhood bar. Friendly staff, good menu, with a plant-based (vegan) section. Our group of the enjoyed the food. I highly recommend the Beyond Burger Poutine. I ordered the small and it was the perfect size for a satisfying lunch!
