Was feeding those in and around the shelter in honor of a family member who passed. The director came out and yelled at us to get away that they are fed at the soup kitchen he was rude and threatened to call the police. He is not a good person. Those at the shelter also say its been a rough 3 yeaes under alpha house. With first nations making up 50% of those who use the shelter. Why was there no first nations workers under alpha house at the shelter? Many who use the shelter complained of bias and prejudice from workers and those in charge of the shelter. Glad to see alpha hoise go. Good riddance
Nice place to visit, wouldn't want to stay here. But honestly was okay and isn't like a dingy back alley location, so overall it is what it is. But when or if in need the doors were open and staff available to answer questions.
