Lethbridge vehicle made the process very easy and seamless! I was in and out in 2 minutes even got a lollipop! I would definitely recommend going here.

I'm talking about the instructor, the ladies at the counter are very friendly.

Definitely frustrating experience. I asked to change my address, if I didn’t have to do a picture. She took my new address, I had a surprise unpaid ticket, asked if it costs to pay it there after she slammed the Interac terminal down in front of me and it was more than what she had said, try to pay with my visa. Because I wasn’t asked how I was paying just thrown the machine. So at this point I’m definitely frustrated. She literally said she assumed. After she read my postal code back to me and I corrected her she tried to blame it on the noise in there which wasn’t the case, she read one letter incorrectly, so by time I was paying the ticket I was done. Thinking I was done I try to take my licence to leave, she says well don’t you want to change your address? I was a little taken back because she was not communicating anything at all. So I exhaled sharply and yes sorry thought that was on there it was more than you said, which prompted her to ask her supervisor for help. While doing so she’s divulging my personal information loudly for everyone to hear even tho the other lady was sitting directly beside her at which point I raised my voice because everybody already knew my business, tried to explain why I was frustrated she was not communicating things to me just assuming, supervisor apologizes says she does the same, I asked why the supervisor was apologizing and not the lady helping me, no answer so I just ask for her to finish it up so I can be done. ONLY at that point did she then say, well you need a new picture do you still want to do change your address today?
Are you kidding me? After all that and making me pay a ticket including an additional $10 just so I could update my address today, she lets me know the answer to my original question that I need a photo anyway. So I could have just gone home and paid it that way and come back another day to change it.
What a waste of mine and their time. Maybe $10 means nothing to her but it does to me. But of course I’m the bad guy cause I was frustrated she couldn’t communicate to begin with.

Appt at 10: 30am, we show up half hour early as required. The guy providing test comes in late. Then fails for a completely minor error. The error was when there is 1 lane in a resential area and your making a turn, you should merge how far in advance? Teach a lesson, don't fail someone because of such a minor error. This is the 3rd test. The first was no shoulder check when it was clear a shoulder check was made. 2nd time, for the lightest tint on the window they refused the vehicle but no effort to refund or reschedule or provide time to switch vehicles. And now this. Omg. The cost goes from 89 to 150 just to book the test. That is completely ridiculous. Taking time off work, complete waste of time and money. Worst place to take driving test in my opionion. Absolutely no consideration. I'm sure there is much worse faults then that to fail someone. They can do better.

I visted this place for my driving license as well as health card, this place is very nice specially the staff working here is so polite and understanding. They help customers with such patience and are always smiling. Jasmine helped me with my license she always had a smiling face no matter how much she was tired. Thank for your service.

Avoid this place for driver’ test at all cost.
Had my driver’s test at this location. The lady examiner #11684 was very rude, she had terrible attitude right from the beginning to the end of the test. This lady seemed frustrated when she was asked question just to clarify things during the test and made faces while answering.

Being a government employee- you need to learn how to be polite with others.

I recently had a terrible experience when I trying to upgraded my license from this office. The lady has negative attitude. It's seems like she don't wanna help me at all and she giving me unnecessary excuses without guiding me properly. May be she fed from her job and she definitely needs a break as it's affecting others who come there.

Went in to get my daughters learners today. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Sandra! My daughter was nervous to take her test and their kindness put her at ease:) thank you for the great experience.

Even though they say they close at 5: 30, they actually close between 5 and 5: 15. If you show up at 5: 10, you will be rudely kicked out because "they are closing". Seriously, there's no need to be so ignorant

When we arrived in the office, there was a long line, yet it seemed like we got to the end of the line in no time. Thanks to everyone who worked there on December 31st, and special thanks to Sandra! She gave us such a good service! She obviously loves people and knows her job very well. She really made our day!

The other employees seemed nice also, and we were impressed with their efficiency. We highly recommend this place.

And all this isn’t a bad place but I recently had a terrible experience when trying to upgrade to advanced class 5 with joe. He was grumpy the entire time and I’m 99% sure he gave me points for a few things that DID NOT HAPPEN! I went to a different registry office and passed with flying colours. For road tests I will not recommend this place to anyone looking to upgrade. Just a money grab.

The service at this location has plummeted in the past 2 years. Recently I called in, placed on hold and waited for over 10 mins before hanging up. Same thing happened today.

If you are that busy I feel you could likely hire another body, or if you can’t get to a call on hold in a timely fashion, use the voicemail.

There is a nicer way of saying what you have to say for someone who is asking for help. She doesn’t seemed to be happy working there I guess. Not everyone looses her licence everyday so not everyone knows how to go about it thats why people ask. Not a very good registry to go to.

I went in for renewing a document, and the person helping me was phenomenal. Very friendly and worked efficiently! I forgot to ask her for her name, but she was at the front desk registry, had glasses on and had blond hair, the second person on the left side. Loved the service provided!:) Highly recommend!

Always have wonderful service. I took my Class 5 Adv road test here and they were very understanding and looking out for success. I was extremely nervous and both the examiner and the customer service lady were very respectful and helped me through the process. The examiner I had was a very professional man who helped me improve my driving while still keeping the test casual. It's definitely not the easiest test but he made it a great experience. Afterward, the customer service lady was so kind! She was very friendly and talkative and really eased my nerves after the test.
Wonderful people working here and examiners that they bring in. Would recommend taking your Class 5 Adv road test here and any other registration needs:)

Awful awful experience with a driver instructor. Denied us for factory tints. Gave us 5 minutes of time to figure out a new vehicle. When I arrived with another car, it was too late.

ROAD TEST- do not take road test here. Especially the OLD DIRTY MAN with a white beard, he is racist.

Definitely he is going to fail you. If you have a name in different language.

I advise you don't go here for your advanced class 5 test
They ask 5$ dollar' less than other registeries but you will not pass I felt the tester working hard to push me to fall with mistakes.add to that she will confuse you because you have to focus on what she is telling you so you can't focus on driving.

I had the worst experience ever, it seems like the staff there are paid to be rude and offensive to the customers. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go the Lethbridge Vehicle Licensing & Registry, the staff and the examiners there are rude and racist. I suggest anyone to go anywhere else but here. I personally ended up going to Chaparral Registry on the west side of Lethbridge and you can feel as soon as you walk in that people in that office and nice and helpful, they take the time to explain things to you in a very polite way.

If I could give zero stars I would. Everytime I come here I regret it. The atmosphere of some the employees is awful. Some have zero costumer service skills and really don't hide that they hate being there. They are rude and condescending, make you feel like you ask stupid questions, rolling their eyes, and shaking their heads. I went in there yesterday and the woman that helped us, seemed miserable to be there and had us sign a document we have never done before, if we asked questions she was blatantly annoyed that she had to help. I was very close to leaving and making sure she knew how rude she was, however we had already spent an hour getting the work done on my lunch break that we had no time to go elsewhere. Ive seen those zero tolerance policy for rudeness from costumers hanging everywhere, however could see why some people may react poorly to some of the staff there. Maybe they need to adapt their own policy to themselves. Just dont go here for registry needs, much better costumer service, literally anywhere else.

I would give this business less than three stars if it hadn't been for the service I, myself, received. However, my partner receive horrible service. He was in earlier yesterday and gave the incorrect address and wanted to fix it when I went after work before the id was issued. The lady that helped him was very rude and condescending. He admitted he made the mistake and she told him there would be a fee to change it. He agreed and had no problem paying this extra fee. She continued to berate him that it was his fault and he would not get his id if he screwed up the address again and "next time make sure you check". There was absolutely NO NEED for her to say a single word about it after we agreed to pay the fee since it was his mistake.

On the other hand, the employee that helped me change my address was very pleasant and helpful. She joked around about the moving process and changing addresses. Exceptional service from her! But the one that helped my partner was, again, very rude and disrespectful. Treated him like he was an idiot and a child for making a simple mistake of forgetting the apartment number on the address.

Called to ask regarding obtaining a healthcare number and the guy on the line was extremely rude and unprofessional. First off, I can hear him sighing on the other line. And then he just keeps on saying, well I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Went to pay a ticket i received from my employer in a company vehicle. They said they can't do it, they need the actual paperwork. So I left and called another registration company. They said they can do it no problem! All they did was send my email copy to them selfs and printed it off! Thanks chaparrals registration! Your a real problem solver!

Take a number get in line, ez right? Got my tag n got in line waited 20 minutes, got inside! People walked in (had no tags) and were served right away. I got to the front and was told to get a NEW tag and get to the back. I asked aloud and was confirmed by karen, new tag and to the back. I went to MCKILLOP and spent less time there than the 1st line at lethbridge vehicle licensing. Un like LVL mckillop is professional and courteous.

Horrible customer service. For staff that checks this paper work 100 times a day you would think they would check everything one time so you could make one extra trip to get any paper work your missing instead of 4 additional trips.

Every time that we go into their office, we're treated with the utmost respect. They constantly go above and beyond the call of duty and help with so much more than we thought they could do. In particular, Lindsey de Kreek has been amazing with the way shes handled some of our unique needs and we simply can't thank her and Lethbridge Vehicle enough. Great job!

When I relocated to Alberta from Ontario It was a very trying time switching everything over/ licence, healthcare/ vehicle registration etc and Lyndsey and Rosanne truly went above and beyond to help make this transition

Do not go here for your Advanced Class 5. Went yesterday to a different registry and failed because of stopping too close to the stop line, not the crosswalk for the stop sign, but the stop line. Booked and went today as need for a new job offer and they would not take out because of cracked windshield, which is not in the line of vision, and was not even mentioned at the other registry yesterday. Was a very grumpy atmosphere as a whole as well. I would not even give this registry 1 star. Money grab for sure. 0/10 recommend. Perhaps I could afford a new windshield with the job offer I had.

I have been going to this business for years to renew my plates & drivers license even though there are at least 2 registries that are closer. Again I was reminded why I drive those extra kl when I went in recently & received the most friendly and courteous service explaining an issue I was unclear about. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing their services.

Not very happy, went to register my vehicle, checked the web site said there’d were open but when I got there they where closed. With a notice on the door that we are closed for Easter break, that’s is fine but I think you should have update tour web site if your gonna be closed. As I was sitting in the parking lot I counted at least 23 people who came to do business here and left. Most of them shaking there heads and walking away frustrated

Took my elderly uncle here to renew his licence. The instructor walked out to his car and failed him immediately for his FACTORY tint on his windows then failed him the second time for driving too slow while the whole time he maintained the speed limit. If you want any kind of a fair chance to get your licence or respect then don't go to these clowns.

The entrance have a notice to grab a number and wait in the car until the number show up in the display screen. My number was 6 and the running number was 5 on the screen. Waited in the car for few minutes to see the number jumped to 8. In between there were customers who walked in who never waited in the line. I walked in and explained the lady on the counter that number 6 never came up. She casually ignored me saying "it did come up" and the service she provided afterwards was not friendly at all. Please do not have those instructions on the entrance if that is not the way you operate. Be humble when providing a service. Your customers are the reason you have a job.

The driver instructor (#10694) was super rude to my younger brother when he was trying to get his class 5 drivers test. He arrived early and checked in and one of the tellers told them to come back at the test time. So he did, the instructor snapped at him saying was late, even though he was told he could leave and come back. When he handed her the insurance and registration for the truck he was driving, my mom had the incorrect pink slip. She told him if he got even a picture to her that it would be fine. It was sent to her in less than 5 minutes. She told him that he was out of time, meanwhile she continued to ramble and lecture at him even though she told him there will be no test. He walked out because she was so rude to him, even if she gave him a chance to drive, she would've failed him. He was devastated. My mom called and even the teller agreed with my mom that it was unacceptable. Will never go there again. There is already enough issues with COVID that no kid should have to get punished for another persons mistake and get treated so horribly. They need new driving instructors.

No option to give zero. Otherwise, I would give a zero. Staff's seems to be having very hard time to keep up the pace. Thus, non -professional neither on the phone or when you're in the office. Examiners are awful. Looks like one of them needs a public relations training on top a re - qualifying to be an examiner. Multiple bad experiences. Very deceived.

I called to have my ex-husband removed from my registration (we each have a vehicle but are on the registration for both) and they informed me I had to go through a whole bill of sale process which is very inconvenient when I don't even speak with this person. When I did ask him to sign the bill of sale he told me that he had already gone to the office, paid $25 and they just removed me from his vehicle. I had no idea. No bill of sale needed apparently when the man goes in to have it done. Employees need to get on the same page.

EDIT: I will say that I contacted YOU (not the other way around) and my problem was thankfully dealt with quickly with I appreciate. But you did not try and contact me multiple times. I was contacted the next day after calling in by someone at the Lethbridge south office and that was it.

Not from around here, but wanted to congratulate the ladies who worked the long weekend of August. They stayed past the time that they where supposed to close. They went above and beyond expectations and I very much appreciated it. That is something that I don’t see a lot
