This dealership, service and parts department are a gem in this city's crown. My car needed an urgent repair. They were quickly able to diagnose the problem and get me in for the needed repairs.

First time service customer at VW Lethbridge, great service!

Update: -

Second visit not quite up to the standard I had expected, the service advisor didn’t check my previous service notes and I had to ask for additional services to be performed.

I had an oil change, limited slip differential fluid change and a brake fluid change. All carried out, but my brake fluid reservoir had spilled fluid all over it and I had to clean this off myself at home.

Really very minor complaints, but I had expected a slightly better level of service as received from my first visit.

I will return for more work in the future, but will bring up my previous concerns to prevent any future issues.

Service review only as I did not purchase from them. They did the requested repairs quickly, they gave me a breakdown of repairs do i could shop around and were Frank about repairs best done elsewhere (like installing a hitch). They were very patient with me being a newbie car owner and being unclear in my requests.

I had a wonderful experience with Lethbridge Volkswagen. This is the third VW car I’ve owned; I traded in my Tiguan for an Atlas. Dawson Brolund was wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and incredibly easy going. He ensured that I was happy with every part of the transaction and I appreciated that so much! Jim Black in the Finance department also was very helpful and worked to secure exactly what I needed.

Thank you Lethbridge Volkswagen for my gorgeous ride! I spend a lot of time in my car as I travel extensively for work and I’m very excited to drive this beautiful vehicle!

Aaron was the best car salesman we have ever dealt with. He was honest and upfront about some cosmetic damage and even had pictures on his phone to show us. He stayed late on a Saturday to make sure all our questions were answered. We had gone to multiple other dealerships/used car lots and he was the first to actually help us with what we needed. I just recently bought a vehicle from Aaron at Lethbridge Volkswagen and overall it was a good experience. Aaron is absolutley amazing at what he does. He really is the only reason I bought from this dealership (besides the fact I wanted a tiguan). I would reccomend you buying from him for sure!

I did want to also shout out some other amazing people who I came in contact with during my short time there. Tacy, Neil, and Jim are all great to deal with as well!

I’m very thankful that the general manager, Tyler was able to get what needed fixed, fixed but the situation could’ve been handled better in my opinion. I wasn’t super happy with how I was treated by him.

Overall, it’s been a good experience so far so I would still recommend this dealership!

I always have the best experience when I take my Volkswagen in for service. From the minute I call to make an appointment, to the time I drive away, I am always left impressed and satisfied.
I want to specifically call out the service team, especially Shelli, Mike, Andrew and Jason. Gess at the front counter is also wonderful to interact with. This team is so accommodating and professional from start to finish.
I am grateful for the service and relationship I have with my Volkswagen dealer, and definitely love my VW product.

I have an ongoing issue with our VW. The heater core has failed for the third time now. VW Canada had extended the warranty on the heater core since this is a common issue. I guess mine is particularly bad. Mike has done a great job at going to bat for me with VW Canada to try and fix this once and for all so it does not keep happening.

I had a truly awful experience with this dealership. I took it in for an oil change and to get the adblue refilled. Shelli told me that I was "way overdue" for some maintenance and told me they'd like to do some extra work. She then told me it would not take very long and asked if I could wait in the waiting room. Over 2 hours later and I was still waiting for my vehicle. When my vehicle was finally ready I was beyond shocked to see my bill was over 4x what Shelli had estimated to me.
Flash forward 2 days later and I get the message "Fault adblue. Engine will not start in 350 km". I quickly called the dealership to figure out what to do. The man on the phone gave me the worst customer service I have ever received. He quickly told me that it was not their problem and repeatedly said "well what do you want me to do about it".
After the amount of money I spent servicing my vehicle here I certainly did not expect to have the engine fail to start 2 days later! Never coming back here again!

Tacy went above and beyond with helping us find another vehicle. Was well informed and gave honest reviews on the vehicles we test drove. Told us the back stories on all used vehicles and told us what recalls or other services that was needed before driving our 2016 Ford Edge off the lot. Jim from finance was very helpful and was definitely fast at getting us the loan we needed for financing our vehicle. Neil, sales manager, helped us with the discount we received from the company I work for. Everyone was very professional and helpful.

Brought my Golf R in for a full brake service and an O2 sensor replacement. The tech that worked on the car made some mistakes (over tightened e-brake, didn't clear engine codes) and completely missed the fact that my right rear caliper was leaking. Called 10 minutes after leaving as I had very little brake pressure and Mike (Service Manager) quickly apologized and got me an appointment for the next day with the Journeyman mechanic A. J. He diagnosed the issue and Mike brought me out to the bay to show me the leaking caliper, and they explained possible causes and solutions. The car was still having problems with the O2 sensor as well, and Mike made sure that was diagnosed before I left. He even threw in a free oil change for my trouble. The service team was very transparent, and the sales team was a joy to be around. Tacy especially was great company while waiting on the servicing. Would highly recommend based on my experience and comparing it to my experience at Country Hills VW this was far more personable and honest.

Bought a used vehicle there which broke down after a year due to a timing belt tensioner issue that was known by VW and very common on the model year we purchased. All they would do is quote us thousands for repair or replacement of the motor and used all sorts of scare tactics to convince us to sell the vehicle dirt cheap to their technician. Crooks!

Had to fight for warranty claim at VW Lethbridge
I bought a new VW GTI from Lethbridge Volkswagen in November 2014. It was a 2015 model.   When I purchased it, I had a full kit 3M protector installed.   I was told it had a lifetime warranty against peeling and yellowing.   It turned yellow. I asked to have it replaced in the summer of 2019.   The dealership refused me.    I asked again to have it replaced under warranty last month on July 28.   The Fixed Operations/Assistant General manager of the dealership, Dan Flahr, refused to honour the warranty and declared that I had already had the 3M protector replaced in 2018.   This was a lie. No such replacement ever took place. Even it had been replaced, this is a lifetime warranty. So, his reasoning is senseless.   I already mentioned this in a customer survey sent to me by VW Canada.   In the end, the dealership agreed to replace my 3M protector, but only after I fought hard with them and caught them in a lie. The service manager, Mike Kalor, even admitted to me that he didn't know how an entry for replacement in 2018 was entered into my file.

On August 11, I went to the dealership to have recall service on my gear shift cover done.   When I arrived at the dealership, Mike Kalor, Service Manager, called me into his office and began to yell at me, declaring that I had thrown them under the bus with my statements in my customer survey.   I explained to him that I only told the truth of how I was treated.   Yes, they replaced my 3M protector, but tried to avoid doing so through a lie.   I should not have had to fight so hard to have my warranty honoured and I did not deserve to be yelled at.   VW Canada sells the 3M protector and uses lifetime warranty as a selling point, yet Lethbridge VW, it seems, does not want to honour the warranty.   They just want people to buy the protector and then forget about the warranty.

Mike Kalor said I threw them under the bus with regard to my comments in the survey.   What is the point of a survey if you are not supposed to tell the truth of your experience with the dealership?   If VW Canada does not want to hear honest answers, they should not ask questions.   After yelling at me for some time, Mike Kalor then told me that after my recall service was done he did not want me back in the dealership.   Are VW employees allowed to bann people from their business who do nothing but answer honestly the questions they are asked in a survey?   There is no other VW dealership in Lethbridge.   It's not as if I can go to another dealership.

VW Canada should not allow its employees to verbally abuse people and bann them from the business simply because they gave honest answers to a survey.   If this behaviour is allowed, then surveys from VW Canada should not be sent to customers.   If only positive comments are acceptable, then VW Canada's surveys are meaningless.

These guys were so good to me:) My 2015 Golf was totaled in an accident and so I was left without a vehicle. I test drove a 2016 Golf from Leth VW and was willing to purchase it, but the price was a bit steep. After some discussing, they agreed to lower the price. I was excited to drive away with a new car, but my insurance and bank were holding onto the payout from my last vehicle, which could take up to a month to process. Instead of making me ring up hundreds of dollars in rental fees (I work out of town), Lethbridge VW gave me the vehicle with a deposit and a post-dated cheque. Once the money was in my account, the cheque cleared. It was such a good experience to purchase a car with these guys - I would definitely recommend!

The last three times I have taken my Tiguan in for service I have had to return days later because new issues appeared after it was worked on or the wrong part was installed, not once - but twice. Poor communication and customer service.

Matt Brown is a consummate professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. I found him to be honest and forthcoming.no games, BS or pressure tactics. Matt helped me assist my elderly parents with purchasing a vehicle. I was out of town so couldn't be there in person, and my parents were overwhelmed. Matt put them at ease from the beginning and truly listened/heard my and my parents concerns. He delivered on every commitment he made, and then went beyond. The experience was all the more appreciated after a very negative interaction with a competing dealership across town. What a great experience in the purchase of my Toyota Sienna. The sales person Tayler & Jim (Accountant) had all the answers and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. They charged me $443 to reconnect 6 broken wires! I have never felt as ripped off as I do right now. Took the car in a because rodent chewed through the 6 thin wires to the air flow sensor. They estimated 2-3hours to get it done. It was over 6hours before they called and said it was ready.

They charged $108 dollars in parts (for the 6 bits of wire they attached)! They didn't even replace the connector or the plastic wire guard (only wrapping it in electrical tape)! That gauge wire is ~$12 for an entire spool anywhere else. Then they added $288 for 2hours of shop time! Do their shop technicians really earn $144 an hour? ! Then they added $27 a shop supplies fee (electrical tape?). Of course add Tax onto that.

Brad White was not pleasant to deal with, and I have heard this from a lot of my family and friends. I also witnessed him throwing a tantrum at a local camping store which resulted in him throwing item (s) at the cashier. Very unprofessional, very impolite, will not be doing business with Lethbridge Volkswagen and neither will a lot of the people I know thanks to him.

Was very impressed with the team at Lethbridge VW. In our search for a used VW and our first, Brad White was an excellent source of knowledge about VW's. Very easy to deal with and accommodating to our schedule. In the end we bought a VW through a private sale, simply for budget reasons, however we will look there and talk with Brad first for future VW purchases and will certainly be taking our car to there shop for all maintenance and service. Excellent experience thus far.

Brad white is amazing to deal with. However the cars they showed me at a great price were not available to buy anymore when I went back as they "still had to go through the shop. " Maybe I shouldn't have test drove them, received a quote and carfax for them. I wasn't even given a timeline when they'd be ready when I asked. My understanding is they would have done some sort of maintenance on them and jacked the prices a bit more. Appreciate Brad's effort though, don't think this was in his control, more like lack of communication within the dealership. Felt like a big waste of my time.

Was doing some light shopping for a future purchase and as a current Volkswagen owner I had to try out the new Golf. I talked to Brad White and could immediately tell that he is a true professional, and a die-hard Volkswagen fan.

He wasn't just trying to push a sale on any car so he could collect a commission, as was the case with other dealerships I spoke with in Lethbridge. Brad is not your stereotypical car salesman, he truly wants to help you find the perfect ride, and he will search high and low across the country to find it for you.

When I'm ready to buy a new car, I will be talking to Brad.

I recently purchased a new Jetta from this team and the experience was definitely worth writing about! I was impressed from the first call I made to book an appointment, to final delivery of the car. I never once felt pressured, all of my questions were answered promptly and with care (and there were many) and I was offered several extras at their cost, which rounded off the buying experience as five-star. The car speaks for itself but the staff likely made me a loyal Lethbridge-VW client for life. Huge thanks to Ian, Brad White and Stefan (and Jordan for answering my initial call and guiding me to the best place for help) for all you have done! Highly recommend!

I am from Calgary, Alberta and this VW is well worth the drive into Lethbridge for service (I'm sure they are also great for purchasing a vehicle, but my experience is with the Service Team). Walked in on Thursday Night for a test drive in a Subaru they had on the lot. Brad White helped us get all sorted to take it out. Got back after the test drive and made plans to come back the day after to talk numbers. Went in the next day (Friday) and got everything figured out and later that evening the car was mine. So happy with the way the staff treated us through the entire process. Brad White, Ian Cooper, and Stefan Jensen were a great help. Such humble staff, and would defiantly suggest looking there for a Vehicle, new or used.

Terrible customer service. The sheer amount of attitude when dealing with the sales team was staggering. It's impressive to be able to lose a guarantee car sale and push a guaranteed sale to a competitor. I get it's a small town dealership but when you post in every add how you pride yourself on your no commission sales team and how you care about your customers. Maybe rethink your advertising and approach. Lol, best of luck.

Never have I walked onto a car lot with near certainty of the make and model I planned on driving off the lot, to near certainty I would not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership. All it took was 30 seconds of the rudest sales encounter I have ever experienced. Something seriously backfired (and it wasn't a car).

Great experience while I was looking for a new car and the sales person was very friendly and knowledgeable. Ali took the time to help me find what I wanted in a vehicle and her experience really helped me make the right decision.
