LETS Grill Restaurant

I walked in, asked for a table for two, was looked at, then ignored as I stood there like an idiot for 5 minutes. Decided to leave and eat somewhere else.

There was a small snag in our reservation. They had us written down for the wrong time but luckily they were able to accommodate our party of 8 anyways. Everything we had was really good and decently priced. I liked that there was an option to adjust the salt and the spice level of the food. A must try dish is the eggplant.very garlicky and full of flavor! Also check out their selection of Chinese pop. The lychee one was yummy!

The place is small but the food came relatively quickly. We didn't know how much to order as it was our first time there but it was easy to order more as we went. It's a perfect place to meet friends for drinks and small bites.

Good place to hangout with friends. BBQs there are the best in town in my own pov. The chef has an epic cooking skills. Especially Chef Derek, I think he named Jiaqi Yuan. The thing he cooks is the best.

Perfect little Street food place, reminds me of real Chinese Street food places. Quite a bit more expensive though.

The portion is large and tastes great. I will bring friends to dinner together in the future

After waiting in line for a long time, it’s finally here! The atmosphere is off the charts

Everything good, good taste, good waiter. Especially the Chinese girl with long hair, friendly and nice. I got the meat with little bit raw, and I ask her for help. Then I have the new beautiful grill meat again. And she also offer refund for the one that raw. How come someones complained about the food and serve. I love this place! Better try better come.

I would give 0 star if there is such an option.
Called to order take-out, the girl who answered the phone, unprofessional customer service with terrible attitude. She can’t even give me a roughly pick-up time just saying she would give me a call when the food almost ready cause they’re busy. (without asking my phone number lol).
So am I supposed to wait 1 or 2 hours? Or 6 hours? Ridiculous!

The restaurant is decorated contemporarily. Food is rich in flavours. Staff is very friendly and always ready to meet your needs. I like taking my friends there to have fun.

I walked Into this place with no idea what I was going to eat lol. It's very ethnic, but boy was I pleased. The flavours are incredible. I'll be back ASAP.

The food was amazing, if you want a place with good skewers than make sure you come here. We asked for less salt for our skewers.

First time trying this place. Tried a couple different rolls, dumplings and tempura. They were all fantastic. Very filling and fair prices. Will definitely be going back. Great spot downtown. My bad, took a pic of the food after most had been eaten!

We found this grill only by chance. My 12 y.o. Son was craving “meat”. So we thought a place called Let’s Grill would hit the spot. It did not disappoint! This place was delicious from start to finish! We had the cucumber salad! Amazing flavour! Then we ordered the lamb, flank steak, cuttlefish and Honey BBQ skewers! Which where awesome! My son was very happy satisfied! His favourite was the lamb. I can agree with that! We also tried the grilled Okra! Amazing! And the grilled Yam! Amazing! All this paired perfectly with a couple Tsingtao beers! This place hits the spot for anyone looking for some flavour country in there next dining experience (and to cure a meat craving)!
A must try the next time your out!

P. S. Our server was over the top attentive. Our glasses never ran dry and our bellies where very happy with his menu suggestions.

Super tasty/ flavourful and very good service. Our waiter was so nice and attentive even though we were the only ones there. We were soooo hungry and I totally over ordered but it was so worth it. Got delicious leftovers for the next day! The grilled eggplant was so melt in your mouth. Definitely hit the spot cuz I wanted meat.

My Girlfriend is from Northern China, and she was feeling homesick. This restaurant makes authentic Northern Chinese dishes that taste great! I especially like the Lamb skewers and the seafood.

I would say lamb skewer is ok but not the rest dishes. The chicken wings are definitely something to avoid, too dry not juicy at all, they are not burnt but for sure overcooked（the chicken: we are Canadian chicken so we shall not be made into mummies we suppose) I don't think the chef did well on the timing of cooking.

Wanted to give this place a try because it seemed cozy, but the service here was horrible. The cups were really rusted on the inside, and the waitress checked up with every other table except mine. After I asked them if they spoke Cantonese (for ease of communication), the waitress stopped coming to my table. I wasn't sure if it was because I was a CBC who didnt speak Mandarin, but it was noticable that they didn't really want to acknowledge me. I noticed that there was another table being served a few minutes into their order although they came at a much later time than I did. I had a very small order in comparison to the other customer, and yet they got served quicker and earlier. I waited around 45 minutes to an hour for 3 small dishes. Because I came with someone who was not Chinese, I kept getting dirty looks towards my table by the cooks, waitress, and even other customers. This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever been to, and I will not be coming back.

Edit: I suggest not drinking the water. The rust on the bottom was floating and dispersing around the cup

Took out 5 pcs each of their Honey BBQ Chicken, Flank Steak, and Pork Belly.

The best was the pork belly but I had better. I was also served water from a tin mug but I noticed rust from the cup.

Also, the vibe felt sadder and not welcoming.

The waitress suggested me their best seller which I was not disappointed.

Overall, it was ok but not great.

Decor was underwhelming and felt amateur but food turned out decent. The meats were cooked nicely and reminds me of Asian street food. Great for a late night snacking but beware it's quite expensive.

Honestly one of the most upsetting places I've been too. Waitress treated me different cause of race and waited too long for my order to be brought to us. They served people that came in later than i did and they ordered more than me. I felt so uncomfortable by the cooks, waitress, other customers. I even had to ask for my food to go cause i couldn't sand being there. Also cups are rusty and plates not cleaned well.

The owner is absolutely friendly. And the food is not as salty as people said. It’s the best Asian BBQ restaurant in Edmonton!

If you dont speak chinese the waitress will try her best to avoid your table. Food was mediocre, some very salty some ok.

Tried this place not long after they first open. The restaurant has a very authentic/cultural feel to it. In terms of food, it was probably the best Chinese BBQ place in Edmonton. Their lamb was probably the thing that stood out the most. However, these came at a higher cost of the food. Also, their food quality/quantity has dropped over time.

The owner (maybe?) is absolutely the friendliest guy. Their pork belly is my love, beside their grilled honey bread. It was supposed to be some small “snack night” for two of us but we left with $70 bill because I mean, food was that good.

I heard a lot about this place before I came to Edmonton for a weekend trip. Since we had a young kid with us, my husband had to get takeout very late that night. I was so excited then disappointed. Nothing tastes close to what the skewers supposed to taste like in China. The lamb skewers were in squared shape so I know what tool they used. The texture will be sacrificed because of that. Tang Dynasty or Boss is busy in Calgary have way better bbq.

Disgusting food. It all seemed like frozen meat/vegetables and was missing any decent tasting spice on the food. Either loaded with cumin or completely bland, chef needs a lesson. Waitress was unfriendly and the food came out slowly. In the end, spent a lot of $$$ and left about 6 dishes barely eaten as they were so horrible and was still hungry.

Its a cozy spot and food is good. Somehow because of their business name I was expecting the experience of grills at each table. This is not the case. There are these small “grills” but its mostly to keep your skewers warm or to create a little char on them. All the items you purchase are already cooked so not much grilling of your own. It was more of a gimmick really.i wish the shrimp skewers were bigger and peeled. As i didn’t like the fact we had to peel tiny shrimp defeats the purpose of skewered meat so its handsfree. I enjoyed their beef skewers small enough to be bitesized and nicely marinated and cooked. Not a huge fan of the chicken wings. All in all Its a nice experience! Staff was great in explaining how you order as well as gave great suggestions!
