Dr. Doug Meldrum is very professional, approachable, and thorough! He does not believe in “cracking” your back and sending you on your way… he takes time to explain the interactions between muscles, bones, mind… and he gives you strategies to improve the weak areas. While it’s good to see a chiropractor regularly, his goal is to help you improve so much that you don’t need to see him anymore (or as much as you did initially).

I’ve been to two osteopathy sessions (to assist with a brain injury and whiplash from the injury) and I’m noticing a higher quality of functioning, physically and mentally. That’s after two sessions. Olalere is always friendly and welcoming.

From the moment you walk in the door you are met with kindness and professionalism. I have seen massage therapist Tyler a couple of times, each time he makes sure he’s clear on the treatment plan for the session. Not only does he tackle my problem areas, he manages to provide a relaxing massage while doing it. He is amazing and I’ll certainly be back.

I have been a client at this clinic for some time. Unfortunately the current manager is not trauma informed and has 0 flexibility when it comes to mask exemptions, even though he himself does not wear one. Apparently the plexiglass barrier only works one way.
I am very disappointed and will not be returning. If you have a mask exemption related to trauma anxiety I would not recommend this clinic. I would not recommend their services as they are not trauma informed, flexible, understanding and do not provide a safe an compassionate initial welcome for clients with breathing or anxiety related mask exemptions.

I have been a monthly massage therapy client at Life ‘n Balance for some time. I highly recommend this Wellness Centre. Staff are professional and friendly and offer a wide range of health services. And prices are competitive!

Life ‘N Balance is a wonderful clinic offering multiple services in one location. The team is knowledgeable, friendly and goes above and beyond to show you that you are a valued customer. The services I received here have helped me through numerous injuries and ailments. It wasn’t just about fixing it so I can get on with it, but teaching me what I can do to decrease the chances of it happening again or what exercises I could do at home to aid in my recovery. I can’t say enough good about this place - give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

I also like the jokes they put on their road signs. Just an added bonus:)

The receptionist is always lovely before and after treatment. Bonus, this location is right by Luke's if you want to treat yourself to a coffee or soft serve post-massage.

I started going here because I wanted somewhere more convenient to get chiropractic work done. After having great experiences, I eventually tried going here for massages as well.

All I can say is that I am super satisfied, and I love the online booking system for quickly checking and scheduling my appointments. The staff is friendly, and it's in a great part of the community too. I recommend that you give this place a try if you are looking for a good place in the neighborhood.

I have been treated by Dr. Meldrum for a few years now. The Balance and Wellness Team is extraordinary in their service and commitment to the well-being of the clients they serve. I have been treated numerous times with back issues and received the care and attention I needed to overcome and deal with my health issues. Dr. Meldrum is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, personable and goes above and beyond with ensuring that I understand the nature of my issues and how we will approach treatment. The chiropractic treatments are tailored for my needs and I am always feeling better from when I leave the office to the days and months following. Even after I moved 45 mins outside of Calgary, I still make the drive in to be treated by Dr. Medrum. He's that good!

I work in an office setting, but I also work out 3-5 times a week. My lower back and neck get sore from sitting at my desk, and my mid-back gets tension from my sports-focused lifestyle. Being health conscious, I figured out I would need to get some form of recovery treatment on a regular basis in order to offset the negative effects of my lifestyle over my body.

So, 4 years ago I reached out to Dr. Meldrum and have been visiting the Life 'n Balance Wellness Centre ever since. I’m currently having chiropractic treatments for my back once every two weeks and a massage therapy once a month. It definitely helps. I no longer feel soreness in those tricky areas on my back and neck. The clinic also has a lot of other cool features and services. In 2016 I did a food sensitivity test, which helped me better understand which foods I should eat more, and which I should avoid.

I’m happy to recommend the clinic to anyone that is interested in making a lifestyle change. Dr. Meldrum is not only a great practitioner, but also a great source of knowledge. I learned a lot of new things about how my spine works, how my lifestyle affects my posture and back health, and how to deal the pressures of my life in general.

The place is awesome and the staff is always genuine. Sara’s great at accommodating you based on your availability and getting you your next appointment booked. Very friendly too! They take direct billing for most of their services, which makes it so much more convenient.

I came a few months ago for my arm rehab and kept this place in mind after that first pleasant visit. This time I met with Sunil for my hip. His treatment provided me so much relief. His take home stretches gave me reassurance that I could completely recover quickly. He was very professional and helpful. Everyone said hi to me and thanked me for coming. Great atmosphere. Very clean and organized.

Excellent and timely service. Dr. Gajecki listened intently as I described the pain that I was having in my lower back, then proceeded to conduct a series of tests (reflexes, stretches, range of motion etc). After testing, she diagnosed the root cause of my pain and successfully treated the problem that I was having with my facet joints; the pain that appeared so suddenly prior to my visit was relieved after chiropractic treatment almost as quickly as it appeared.
