Really enjoyed my WCB assessment by Dr Stelmaschuk and kiniesieologist arron higson they were both very thorough and to the point and that took away my anxiety and they answered all questions thankyou so much. I would definitely recommend their services. I am happy to continue on with my therapy here

Two total knee replacements and two shoulder rebuilds. All three of my surgeon's recommended I go to Lifemark. I choose Father David Bauer Arena location. Good decision.

I highly recommend this physiotherapy clinic. I am currently rehabilitating a broken ankle and Allison and the team have been excellent. Kelsi Lemna is the best physio therapist I have ever had and I have had A LOT. She actually works on your injury (massaging, controlled movements, assisted stretching, suction cups etc.) and then shows you how to do the exercises. She has the strongest hands in the business, so if you are a bigger guy… fear not, she’ll be able to loosen up those muscles. She also books the right amount of clients so every gets enough attention.

Gavin is also the man. He is polite and friendly. He is knowledgeable and confident about what he is talking about.

The people working here were very kind and welcoming. The doctor I saw was also very kind and put my kind at ease. I also have to give a big shout out to Inaya - the FCE Kinesiologist who worked with me. Very patient, detailed and again very kind/supportive.

Very impress of the service, knowledge and patients that Inaya Lakhani had towards me on explaining all the difference exercise that would help me in the future.

I was treated by their physiotherapist - Mark Robertson, for whiplash from an auto accident, and am very satisfied with the quality of service and care. Mark is great at explaining the problem and his proposed treatment. He is a very hands-on physiotherapist and works very hard on your muscles, unlike many others who rely more on gadgets.

Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I was being tested for functional capacity Evaluation (FCE) He didn’t waste any time and explained the tests perfectly before any attempt.

If you ever have a WCB claim and they give you and option between CBI or Lifemark - go with Lifemark. Especially if they want to send you to CBI in North East Calgary.

CBI northeast cleared me to work. While I clearly told them " my pain is back in my hip/lower back " - all they did was " heat and t.e. N.s. Therapy. Once my claim was closed. Was forced to re open. Went to Lifemark today. Had an amazing performance evaluation. I feel recovery soon! Thank you Lifemark!

I started as an AHS client but as Mark and Melissa have been so helpful, I have continued to return as a private client for over a year. They are professional and affable physiotherapists who have kept me healthy and continuing to do the sports and activities I love. I am forever grateful for Mark and Melissa. They are great.

I went to see Ravi for an initial assessment, I had someone recommend me to the clinic and the reviews seemed to suggest that this was a good place to go. I had an initial arm break a few years back and was dealing with some of the after effects of scar tissue and some scapular dyskinesis, because of the elbow's involvement in the injury. There was some other issues involved but safe to say my case was a bit of a complicated one. After assessment, the first thing that Ravi indicates to me is that I would not be able to regain full mobility in my wrist and elbow (only one of my goals by the way, and something which I already knew), the immediacy of this kind of approach was a little disheartening to me as someone who came in looking for help. If the thought of telling me that was one that works in her favour as to not give too much hope or to cover her behind in case she accidentally overpromises, then this should be enough to help you make a decision, especially when it comes to her own projections about limitations. And yes, I say projections because past experiences alone, aren't necessarily helpful in making accurate predictions. Anyways, I truly felt like the examination was incomplete because it seemed that she followed a formula and didn't really take the time to do an assessment of all the issues I had indicated to her. The list of exercises she told gave me/had me perform were trivial as I was already aware of most of them. There are also gaps in her knowledge, for example when it comes to the action of muscles she refused to accept how an exercise has the ability to impact or activate the weakest link of a chain prior to acting on the biggest muscle in the link - bent over straight arm pull down was the specific one. I have been dealing with my injury for some time and so I have had no choice but to study it, also it is my body so I am at least somewhat aware of the difference. Her overall attitude seemed to become more apathetic after this disagreement. I don't know maybe when it comes to more traditional injuries or those which she is comfortable with she could be better, but given my complications I have no reservations when I say that this experience felt no different than watching a YouTube video. Seeking help elsewhere and relying on myself proved much more effective than to rely on her professional prediction, which to me at the time sounded exaggerated. Having paid nearly $100 for the assessment I would have hoped to at least have learned something.

I have had an amazing experience going to physiotherapy at this Lifemark location. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, usually the best part of my day! The physiotherapists have been exceptional I have always felt cared for and listened to. Thank you for being the key to my recovery

I've been receiving physiotherapy from Melissa Tomiyama for a shoulder injury and I truly cannot commend her enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough and focused and kind. Her manual therapy works wonders. I feel I'm in the most competent hands with Melissa. The staff at this clinic are wonderful as well. I am very grateful for this help!

This place is great. Devin, one of the physiotherapists there is tremendous at her job. She is thorough and comprehensive. She has already helped me rehab an injury a couple of years ago, and is helping me again.
The rest of the staff here are knowledgable and competent. Hard recommend if you're looking for a good place for physio. They direct bill benefits as well.

I've been going to this Lifemark for years. First for my knee surgery then for a hand injury and then for a motor vehicle accident. Melissa and Mark have been fantastic at helping me cope with pain. Every single physiotherapist that I have worked with has been courteous and helpful. I cannot recommend this place more.

I started coming to this clinic after a car accident injury a few years back 2014 (I think), a year ago I started back after a workplace injury. Great care and compassion is given to all patients that come through the door right from reception to smiles from staff you pass as you walk to the out patient clinic.

Mark has done amazing work with my physiotherapy needs with every appointment. The room can be buzzing busy but when Mark is working with you he makes you feel as though your his only patient there. He gets you moving but never pushes passed discomfort pain. Marks talents with acupuncture and dry needling are very beneficial combinations to the healing process.

I've had an amazing experience coming to this clinic. Mark is an amazing practitioner, that cares about his patients. It shows in his concern, and efforts that he makes, to ensure his patients are getting the improvements they need, so that they can get back to a healthy life.

I was referred here by my insurance company following a MVA in August. Everyone in this clinic is so positive and the atmosphere is very uplifting. The ladies at the front desk will remember your name, and your appointment schedule making it a hassle-free trip every time. My physiotherapist, MARK, was incredible when it came to getting to know my injuries and finding the best treatment plans. He has consistently proven to be extremely knowledgable, empathetic, honest, and above all, efficient. Due to my job, my recovery has been slow, and he has been very patient and understanding with me. Every visit he will take thorough notes, and uses them to track progress and make changes to the treatment plan if need be. Huge shoutout to Mark, I really appreciate him. Additional shoutout to the physio assistant, Kelsey, who has put time and energy into getting to know me and my injuries as well, and promptly jumping to help wherever she can.
I could not imagine putting my treatment in the hands of anybody else. Mark and the entire team at Lifemark deserve high recognition for the work they are doing.

I became client at Lifemark Father David Bauer to rehabilitate my shoulder after a rotator cuff tear. Great location, lots of parking, good front end staff experience, and the facility and equipment are good (maybe getting a little tired). Physiotherapist Ravi is attentive, professional and always upbeat, encouraging and guiding me through this painful injury and rehab. I recommend Ravi and the Lifemark team.

I saw Ravi for my back a few months ago. Even though I did require surgery Ravi helped me tremendously while I waited. She is highly skillled but also very empathetic. A wonderful combination. I will definitely go back.

I went to Ravi after having my first child, and was pleasantly surprised with how fast I was able to recover with her help. She paced the exercises into manageable chunks and together we set realistic goals each time I visited the clinic. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a pelvic floor physio.

My experience at Lifemark has been exceptional. I highly recommend it! The support staff are very professional and friendly, but most importantly my physiotherapist Mark Robertson has been a tremendous help in my recovery from an accident related whiplash injury. He is incredibly knowledgeable and highly educated in his field, but also markedly supportive and notably kind to all of his patients, which I greatly appreciate and respect.

If you are receiving disability from an insurance company and mandated to see Dr Christian Laplante for a psychological assessment, I highly recommend requesting another psychologist and location. This office is NOT suitable for counselling - the office is located in a multi-function facility and offers little privacy for patients including very thin walls and door along a noisy hallway. Expect the room to be very clinical - doctor’s bed, two chairs and a desk. The reception was kind, but the signage uses language that may trigger an emotional response eg “Return to Work”. The required release form is confusing and is not well explained by the doctor. If you don’t sign the form, he will tell your insurance you are declining service and being non compliant. He does not provide another option other than the suggestion to contact your lawyer. I felt forced to sign the form in his presence. The doctor was also unprepared for our meeting and hadn’t read the file prior to the appointment and did not have his computer ready for use. I waited 5 minutes (crying) in his office for him to pull up someone else’s report to demonstrate what he would be writing. When he showed me the report, he scrolled by the patient’s name which should be none of my business. He has since sent a report to my insurance that has resulted in my insurance threatening my benefits. I cannot believe this man has this many years of experience in the psychology field. I was clearly in distress during our meeting and he demonstrated no empathy and lack of concern for my wellbeing.

My usual physiotherapist was on vacation and I needed an appt with physio urgently and luckily, I got in the next day - I love their online booking system! It is so convenient, way better than calling to book.

I got in with Alison and at first, I wasn't used to the open setting so I wasn't too sure what to expect. (I usually saw my previous physiotherapist in a private room, which is a must for those times when pain is overwhelming just FYI. That's probably the only downside to this kind of physiotherapy clinic set up. Is that you really need some privacy and comfort sometimes. I've definitely been there.but anyways.) but then when she was ready to see me. I received her complete, undivided attention and she really seemed to genuinely care about hearing my story and my physio history, etc.
She had some very helpful new exercises for me and some new information for me as well - you can tell she is very knowledgeable and also really cares about helping people. She also spent time to write notes on the physiotherapy print out sheet for me, which was very nice and will help me remember the steps.
Anyhoo, if I wasn't moving out of the province soon. I'd definitely make this my new physio place!
