Absolutely the worst physio therapist ever. The guy who did my husband's Veterans assessment, we'll call him J. Didn't do his job properly and I question his education. If you want your pain and suffering to be disregarded and written off, this is the place to be. If you want an honest assessment go somewhere else.
They get paid 1800-2500 for these vac assessments that are supposed to be 16 hours long divided into 2 days. 4 hours is all J worked with my husband for. And at the end decided he was just fine. Even though he walks with a cane and has other diagnosis previously done at other clinics.
This isn't health care here, this place is a dishonest, money hungry business. Stay awayat all costs.

I had a a very positive experience with Dawn who was amazing. She was knowledgeable, caring and very easy to talk with. She did dry needling and gave me exercises to do at home for my sprained back and sciatica. When she was booked up, Dawn fit me in on her lunch break without my asking and also wrote to my doctor to explain my condition. I would heartily recommend Dawn for anyone needing physiotherapy.

Thank you Lifemark Meadowlark, my 6 weeks at your facility was a positive experience, everyone was kind and professional. A special thanks to Kallista for being a great team leader and providing much needed support. I highly recommended.

Parisa has been working with me for several months after I had suffered a brain injury due to an infection and it was a very traumatic experience for me. She was very patient with me and worked with me every day, creating a very slow yet strategic schedule which would get me to a place where I could function on my own as I used to. I was very impatient and had such bad anxiety, I never thought it was remotely possible but she was optimistic and knew with time and patience we would get there and would always guide me and remind me to be patient and to follow her schedule and she was right. I found her to be kind and very wise. She was always willing to listen to me and her being so positive and smiling was always a pleasure to work with her.

I brought my son here for some assessments after a serious car accident and they have dropped the ball from day one. First, I made sure this was a clinic who would treat a 6 year old for everything he needed. I booked the assessments for over a month out due to their schedules.
We get there and only received one of two needed assessments. Then I'm told someone will call me to book #2. It's been two weeks and that never happened. The insurance company is on my case, I called them back only to find out Lifemark doesn't treat 6 year olds which was something I specifically searched for to start. They wasted weeks of our time and my son is the one to suffer because of inadequate staff and poor patient follow up. Definitely go elsewhere.

I was a patient here on a few separate occasions. And with that being said, if you’re choosing to go here regarding a WCB claim I would advise against that. Although the staff come off as welcoming and warm and kind, they simply are laughing at you behind your back regarding the personal information you give them. The staff all sit together in a shared office talking about you and laughing.
Also, please avoid the Counsellor Chris lefebvre. He doesn’t take his male patients seriously, he’ll take any information and then talk down on you in a condescending manner. He’ll also inform you that everything is confidential between you both as it should be, since I see a counsellor in the community willingly. But then will SHARE that personal information with their “team”. Which he doesn’t properly clarify. So be prepared for your kiniologist to read off all these personal bullet points you’ve shared with chris. So rest assured, be compared to be laughed at, mocked, looked down on because this guy is unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the Psychologist board. He will then try and spin it saying it’s your fault because you’ve become upset with the personal information he’s shared with out your consent. Doesn’t take male clients seriously and can tell he’s there just to scam on young women. That’s where all his focus seems to be.
I will never step foot in the clinic again for anything. Telling them everyday I’m in pain, showing up barely walking because of my injury. And they just say what WCB wants them to say. Well because of their negligence, MRI and more physio and then surgery, I’m still in the same spot I was in. In pain, without a properly functioning body.
They should really take into account in what people are saying.

If you have mental health and mobility problems this location is inside a mall. Hard to reach and lacking accessible parking.

Safia helped me get back to full movement after I had sprained my ankle. I am grateful for the help and the pleasant atmosphere of Lifemark.

Fantastic team to work with! Very knowledgeable and compassionate in the area of pain management.
23 June 2021 6:47
Megan, Felicia, and Murray were the most supportive and understanding team I could have ever hoped for. After being off on medical disability for well over a year, they were able to help me progress over a few months with a gradual return to work plan, and steps to overcome setbacks. I am now happy to report I am able to work from home part time. This would not have been possible without their consistent encouragement and ideas - I can’t thank them enough!

I recently completed the Active Rehab Program at Lifemark Meadowlark. Prior to this, chronic debilitating pain had taken control of my life. I had seen numerous medical professionals with little hope in sight. The Lifemark program administers a very practical hands on learning. This involved breathing/meditation, an expertly evaluated exercise program, education sessions, CBT by a highly experienced Dr. Grootelaar, trigger point injections/sessions with Dr. Kulkarni, a seasoned Chronic Pain Specialist. An amazing thing happened - pain resolution and restoration to living a fulfilling life. Along the journey I did have several setbacks, at which time I received guidance and compassionate support from Leah, Brent and Greg. I cannot overstate the synergistic value of being in the care of this amazing team at Lifemark. It is second to none. I am forever grateful!

Great program. The staff at Lifemark are a great team. I am so pleased with my results. This program left me feeling like a million bucks, the exercises, deep muscle relaxation and pacing is what me to reduce the pain I was going through. Today I have no pain.
Thank you tremendously to the team.

Leah and Kasia were both essential in helping me learn to deal with chronic pain. They definitely knew their stuff and fundamentally helped me learn new skills to manage it.

Recovery is not only about doing the exercises but it also involves learning how to pace yourself, allowing yourself to rest when you have a flare-up and not taking on too much during the good days. I also learned to use the breath to relax and calm the nervous system and slowly train my body to learn that certain movements are not threatening.

If you have the choice between the meadowlark location and downtown I would absolutely recommend meadowlark. It was a much more wholesome, supporting, positive environment.

Danelle and Khalil were great at making me get better and feel better to get back to work. I lost no weight, but gained pure muscle! Thanks

The best physiotherapist I’ve ever seen. Ms Safia Samji helped me after my neck and lower back injury from a car accident (I was rear ended) and I couldn’t be happier with the progress. I went to another place before coming here and I couldn’t see progress even after months but once started seeing Safia progress was made after each treatment. Highly recommend seeing her.

I really enjoyed my experience with the program at the pain clinic. They really know what they are talking about and they sure know how to motivated you to get on board with the program. I can't say enough how much they have helped me to deal with the pain and get me going to have a normal routine with the limitations I have. If you follow their advices, you will see how much it is going to help you with the pain. I have learned how much the breathing is so important when you deal with pain. The breathing has been a revelation to me. Also they are listening to your need and they come up with exercises that are adapted to your condition and how much you actually improve your quality of life. There is no secret here that it needs some work and perseverance to get there, and understand the concept of the pain. I am beyond impress with there skills and professionalism. I highly recommend this program. Thank you so so so very much for everything.

I have dealt with Chronic Back Pain for over 20 years. I recently completed my last program at the Lifemark Health Institute with one of their incredible teams. This is the second time going through the program. Although I took a lot from my first visit to the program, I missed getting to learn and use different “tools” needed to get me through the day when faced with the extreme cycles of pain because I was not focused on the program.
This time I was able to commit to the program and this made the world of difference. One of the main things I took from the team at Meadowlark Health Centre is that when dealing with pain at heightened level, I am not to give into the pain and try to worked through it by using the Meditation tapes (Deep Muscle Relaxation & Sensory Imagery tape). Then use the breathing exercises given to allow me to move the pain to another area of my thought so I can proceed with my day. Understanding that every day I have to work with the challenges my Chronic Pain brings and there will be days that the challenge with require me to use all the tools I have to make the day a positive one. I like that the exercise program was developed around my needs and modified as we went on with the program. I extend my thanks for this to Leah, Brent, Anthony, Greg and Maylank for their ability to help me see/work/live thought the pain.

A Christmas and New Year's wish for all the staff
To Anthony a clean white board and a clear eraser
To Brent smooth swings
To Murray more patient 'old guys'
To Leah fewer 'old guys' seeking free consultations for self inflicted injuries.
To Dr. Chan a new treadmill
To Dr' Niggam It's true, The Brain Knows How to Heal.
To Greg Compassion is a blessing.
To Erik Fewer grumpy 'old guys' begging for free resistance bands.

To all, I'm deeply in your debt, THANK YOU

Fair is fair, and when great people do great things, they and the public should know. As well, the public should be aware of the excellence that exists to help people struggling to do daily things. This is such a case. I just completed a very intense and challenging program relating to work related trauma. For those out there who have severe trauma, you will know how debilitating this is in your life and in the lives of others who are in your life. First, let me tell you that the trauma program I just finished at Lifemark called the TPI program actually works. I would note that it was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. I was told upfront and throughout that it's not a "cure all". It was also made clear to me that I cannot stop working daily on my trauma and related issues. No, if I want to get healthier and make my life better, I must continue to work very hard every day as, in my case, the trauma looks like it will be a life long challenge. At the start of this program I did not believe that what was described to me (exposure therapy) would work. In fact, I thought I would just get worse. Nope, exposure therapy does the opposite. Again, I'm not "out of the woods", but at least I can see a path forward. That's something I never thought I would see. While the program has proven research based positive results, I imagine that it also depends heavily on who delivers the program. Here is where I was particularly blessed. I need to note that this review was not solicited or sought by anyone, and it was my decision alone to give it. The program was administered by psychologist Felicia Anderson and occupational therapist Erika Job. It's clear that these two professionals know their stuff, and excel at delivering this program. I would be on solid ground in saying that I am also 100% confident that they would excel in delivering any type of therapy. I feel very blessed and fortunate that these two fine professionals were assigned to my case. I was so relieved that they kept me focused, accountable and motivated. I was hesitant in providing this review, as mental health is still in the dark ages, despite the public messaging that it isn't. So, I was worried about this being made public and my name being seen. Trust me, I still get the stares and commentary when I mention my issues. We're a long way from it becoming like a "broken leg", Long long way. Sad, but true. But me staying silent just lends itself to this pathetic stigma. Felicia and Erika helped me to handle this as well, and encouraged me to accept my unique state of mind and work with it and not against it. Most importantly, I learned that the more we keep these things secret, the more difficult it becomes to become healthier. All to say, I highly recommend the program, Lifemark, Felicia Anderson and Erika Job.

I have to say, my experience with Lifemark was extremely positive. While in the active rehab program I had a full team supporting me. They taught me strategies to manage my pain, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond all expectations. After struggling with fibromyalgia for years, I had almost given up hope that I could go back to a more "normal" life. No, my pain did not fully go away, but what did go away was the way I thought about my pain. There is a new normal out there that I can achieve, and I can still do all the activities I love (with some adjustments and lots of pacing). Everyone on my team, including Leah, Brent and Greg, I cannot thank you enough.

Was offered physio through work and sent here. Had a great experience thoughout my entire rehabilitation. The receptionists are very courteous and always seem to be in a good mood and my therapist Safia was great. She was knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. Very glad to have been sent here as the entire staff made it a much more pleasant rehabilitation than I would've expected.

Hands down some of the best care I have ever received! They’re a comprehensive team that can help you tackle your day to day pains and struggles whether physical, emotional or both. Their classes, one on one plans and counselling will give you the tools and resources that you need to start living a more functional, healthier life while teaching you more manageable ways to live with your pain. Highly recommended!

The focus of this clinic is so different - focusing on the whole person, and promoting quality of life. Murray has been instrumental in addressing my chronic pain in a holistic way that has resulted in real improvement. He expresses care for mental health, outlook, and perception, and has worked hard to facilitate setting goals and making meaningful change. He is caring, personable, and empathetic.

I am a 78 year old male. I suffer from many of the problems that afflict seniors in my age group, weak joints, shoulder, elbow and leg pains.as well as the thought that 'nothing else can be done'.
I had been visiting pain clinics for several years before I found my current chronic pain specialist. I was content with the progress he managed to achieve with my pain levels, but he felt I should take advantage of further "inspection and physical therapy".
My introduction to the Lifemark team began in September of this year, and will end in November.
I can now say that I have learned how to stay fit and active, and have developed skills that teach me to relax properly, breath and better manage my pain levels.
I have experienced some of the most beneficial treatments from this team, lessons that will last a lifetime.well for awhile anyway, I'm 78.
More seniors should take advantage of this program.

I enjoyed the program very much and was very glad to be a part of it. The staff are a very friendly bunch, knowledgeable and helpful. I gained alot of new strategies and techniques to aid in my pain management and exercise routines. I would recommend this program to anyone who is in need of further therapy.

I had an excellent team that built a plan towards my goals, not just fixing my injury. If I had a problem or hit a road block, my routine was quickly adjusted, and I had tremendous results because of it. I highly recommend this place.

Hi, I came to Lifemark several months ago as directed by WCB in order to facilitate the healing process for my right knee, which suffered a patella tendon complete rupture last August.
The Physiotherapist assigned to work with me was Safia Samji, and I credit her for bringing me back to much better shape than I was when she met me. The exercises I was given- first at the Centre, then online after Covid - were progressive in nature, and some very challenging, but they worked not only the complete range of motion I needed, but also focused on building back core strengh, and flexibility.
Safia always demonstrated the exercises, and also variations I could do if I felt I had a limitation.
She was encouraging, and easy going, and it was a privilege to work with her.
Two thumbs up!

I saw Betty Huang for TMJ and neck issues. She was very persistent in using different techniques to get me some relief. I felt like she really listened and was compassionate. She has a soft, yet direct way about her. The clinic was very professional and clean.

This is the second Lifemark location that I have been treated at and both have been fantastic to deal with. Even by video conference, Murray has been great in helping me recover from a collision from earlier this year. He really took the time to listen and he recommended some great stretches and exercises that have helped immensely. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an excellent care experience at Lifemark Meadowlark with Murray as my physiotherapist. I had a torn hip labrum which was both painful and activity-limiting. Murray took the time to understand how the injury was affecting all aspects of my movement and life, helped me set recovery goals and guided me to recovery. He is very good at explaining all his instructions and how I could monitor my progress. I am fully recovered and I also know what to do if my pain symptoms flare up again. Thank you Murray for helping with the restoration of my health - and yes I am running again without fear!

Sari has been my physiotherapist for about 6 years now and has helped me through several CrossFit-related injuries and flare ups. Most recently, I went to see Sari at Lifemark-Meadowlark for pelvic floor physio for assessment and treatment following the birth of my son a few months ago. Sari was awesome as usual! She is always knowledgeable, caring and thorough. She provided me with various exercises as part of my treatment plan and always makes sure I’m doing them correctly and engaging the correct muscles. I always feel that Sari’s treatments are efficient and effective. I am going for the RIGHT number of treatments - no more, no less - and if something isn’t working, she will modify my treatment plan to accommodate. I never feel rushed with Sari, she takes the time to be with her patients, rather than rushing 4-6 patients through in an hour. I highly recommend seeing Sari!

Such a wonderful place to get set up to give healing and recovery a chance. Very knowledgeable team that treats each person individually based on their needs.

I would like to personally say THANK YOU to both Tessa and Jordan at Meadowlark Lifemark Physiotherapy for the GREAT treatment I received while a client there. Both Tessa and Jordan were cheerful and pleasant to work with and made the work of physio seem easier as a result. More importantly, they were empathetic, encouraging and supportive while at the same time maintaining the proper level of professionalism and also being appropriately directive and firm. I am convinced that the progress that I have made is a direct result of the treatment that I received from them both. I would HIGHLY recommend both Tessa and Jordan to anyone requiring Physiotherapy. THANK YOU Tessa and Jordan - I am grateful and appreciative for all that you did for me.

I have attended the Active Rehabilitation Program twice for help managing CRPS and both times have been amazed at the improvements to my quality of life.

Betty was excellent in helping me recover from total knee replacement. Acupuncture has been a godsend and turned me from a non believer into and advocate for this form of treatment.

I saw Jordan for my physiotherapy treatment. He was always kind and compassionate and willing to listen to all of my issues. I always felt better after the treatment sessions and found the exercises given really helpful. Jordan's great to work with!

I participated in the Chronic Pain Active Rehab Program. After struggling with chronic pain from age 18, in and out of physio, acupuncture, chiro, you name it, I was feeling very hopeless and was skeptical about the program but willing to give it a try. All in all, my experience and gains there have been nothing short of AMAZING! The staff are all so supportive and kind. They care, they listen, and they believe you. After struggling to just get a doctor to believe me or understand for so long, this was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The program is extremely hard physical and mental work, but it is so worth it. I still have some issues but I am back to doing daily activities with ease, I can even run without pain or needing injections now! And most of all, I am hopeful for the future. I believe I can do anything with pacing and listening to my body. I am forever grateful to everyone at LIfemark for helping me put my life back on an upward spiral. LOVE THIS PLACE! Special thanks to Greg, Leah, Eric, Murray, Benish, Brent, Patrick Chan and Anthony!

I have been receiving physiotherapy from Jitendra (Jay) at Lifemark Meadowlark Centre in Meadowlark mall for the past 2 months now. I am very impressed with the staff at this location, scheduling appointments is quick and easy. The facility is clean and has a great layout with lots of stations to exercise and rehab. Jitendra is a real professional and amazing to work with. He is kind and easy to get along with but more importantly, he takes my rehabilitation very seriously. Taking the time to explain why we are doing certain exercises and going at a pace that works for me. I would happily recommend him and this clinic if you have been injured and want to get better. 5 Stars.

I highly recommend Lifemark Meadowlark Centre! The last 6 weeks of physical therapy has helped me so much! I am very grateful to my therapist Jitendra for his support and guidance throughout my healing journey. I walked in my first week unable to walk properly from my right ankle dislocation and fracture. I completed my program today, and I walked out encouraged and feeling 100% confident. Once again Thank You Jay for all of your help.
