I have been going to this clinic for years and love it. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and go the extra mile when you need help. I would highly recommend enlisting your physio, massage, vestibular and pelvic floor services here.

I wanted to leave this review to talk about the most impeccable health professional I have ever met named Alana Devlin. Never have I met someone who provides such empathy and passion to her patients and it made me recognize that, that is the professional I want to be when I myself apply to a my masters in a health care program. I came to Alana for issues regarding my pelvic floor and it was an issue I was struggling with for a long time and I did not feel heard or recognized until coming to Alana.

The way she provide care is exceptional and in my opinion, the blueprint all professionals should follow. To hear the patient, make them feel comfortable, recognize how they feel, and provide a laugh as well, is hard to come by and I wanted to thank Alana for the honour it was to not only get to know her but experience that level of care. If you want to feel heard and respected I promise you there is no better place to be. Thank you Alana again for everything and being the best Physio I know, and for making me feel like a person and heard during my times of need.

I've heard the PT is good, but never got to meet him. Made an appointment, did the intake paperwork via e-mail, took a few days to get in. Showed up and called from the parking lot to check in, as per current protocol. Talked to a male receptionist for a few minutes who, despite being the one who had processed my paperwork and confirmed it was all good, got confused about what my injury was. He told me to come in, I went, and then he told me they were running late and I'd have to reschedule for a different day - couldn't have done that on the phone?

It's aggravating enough waiting for an appointment, showing up, and then only being told in-person they're too busy, but years ago I worked at a clinic like this and we would never have treated a patient this way. Life happens, but if a patient was there and the therapist was there, we made the appointment happen, no matter the time crunch. It isn't fun to re-arrange your day around someone else's soonest appointment time, wait in pain for days, and then get cancelled on after you show up. In every interaction with this receptionist, he took forever to do what needed to be done, and didn't care at all when I didn't reschedule the assessment.

Called another clinic, got in the next business day, and will be sticking with them instead, as they're much more caring and professional.

My 4 year old received pelvic floor physiotherapy from Susie Smith over the past year. It was a stressful time as a parent, but within minutes of meeting Susie, both myself and my daughter were put at ease. Susie is warm, kind, compassionate, funny and made the experience for my daughter feel fun - not an easy task! I must also say that Susie was beyond professional, and thoughtfully incorporated all aspects of consent into each session and process - I was so impressed. Susie's skill and knowledge were tops - she clearly knows her stuff, but translates it in a way both parents and kids can understand. The home exercises were helpful and Susie was wonderful about ensuring everything was realistic with a preschooler! We will actually miss seeing Susie! But my daughter's issues have resolved, and we have a lot of tools to manage going forward. I am very grateful for Susie's treatment and support, I would honestly have been lost without her. I would recommend her without hesitation.

The staff are all friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Protocols are clearly marked and followed by everyone. My physiotherapist, Sarah MacArthur, helped me get stronger with my new hip, gave clear and detailed exercises with explanations for each! I am very happy with my experience there.

Susie is THE BEST! She is unbelievably knowledgeable and takes such a caring and personal interest in her patients. She is an absolute miracle worker and I recommend everyone I know to her. It feels like I'm hanging out with a friend, when I see her! A friend that helps me get better!

I went to Lifemark Physio Crowchild Twin Arena for back and neck pain from a MVA, Catina was super helpful and nice when dealing with the insurance companies. The rest of the staff is super nice as well. Susie really listened to my concerns and had my best interest in mind at all times. She really helped me with my pain and was always a joy to see and talk to each week!

I recently had a physiotherapy treatment with Susie Smith at this facility. She is amazing, doctor told me after getting X-ray that I have some kind of Arthritis (due to gap S1 and L1). In the first session with Susie, who I thin k have magic fingers / eyes, just checked something and she said your pelvic bone joint is slight twisted. With only three sittings she brought my pain from 8 on the scale of 1-10 (10 being worst) to 1. She is amazing, , highly recommend to get the treatment from her.

Treated by physio Susie for a wrist/arm fracture (Colles’s fracture). Absolutely fantastic results. That arm was so painful, weak and stiff when the cast first came off, honestly kind of worried that it would be a useless appendage. Doing physio with Susie on that arm and I am back to regular duties at work (very physical), and all my other outdoor sports activities. Would absolutely, hands down, recommend her for this injury or quite frankly any physio requirements. She’ll get you convalescing quick. Very passionate about her field.

Front desk staff are friendly, organized, helpful and accommodating. The physiotherapists I've seen have made me feel comfortable, understood, and supported, and I've made great strides in managing pain and rehabilitation with them. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I've had much better success with the physios here than with other therapies elsewhere (chiro, massage, acupuncture).

I was having groin pain on and off for a few weeks, it was so painful and when it was flaring up I could barely walk around. My physiotherapist is Susie Smith and she specializes in pelvic floor physiotherapy. She is absolutely incredible! First of all, after the first session the groin pain completely stopped, she was able to fix my problem so quickly and taught me why a problem in one of my joints ended up causing the pain I was having. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her profession and she does a great job of explaining what is causing pain in a very accessible way.

Also in general, Susie is just a phenomenal healthcare provider! She is so empathetic, she listens to my concerns and doesn't make me feel dramatic or embarrassed when I feel nervous about my health. She is also very careful about always getting consent, which I think is so important for anyone who is experiencing a health problem-especially something as vulnerable as pelvic floor issues. Definitely the best healthcare experience I've ever had! I really recommend Susie to anyone, especially someone dealing with a pelvic floor concern or someone who is feeling quite anxious about advocating for their bodies because Susie really listens, understands, and truly cares.

My experience at Lifemark was excellent. All staff are very professional and friendly and have are genuine concern for the well-being of patients. I would strongly recommend Lifemark at the Crowchild twin Arena to anyone who requires Physio or Acupuncture.

Started at Lifemark in mid Sept 2020 for a knee injury (meniscus & osteoarthritis). I had been to another physio clinic and had no improvement at all. Suzie Smith did a very thorough assessment, reviewed xrays and ultrasound with me and explained exactly, in detail, what she thought the problem was and what treatment would be the best. Within a few weeks my pain level has been reduced substantially and my quality of life is improved drastically. I would highly recommend Suzie. She is very experienced, caring and has excellent communication skills.

I have been to these clinics several times for different ailments. Eric So was my therapist. He is always pleasant and attentive to my needs. He is great with IMS (Inter-Muscle Stimulation). Strongly recommend the clinics as well as Eric.

The front staff are amazing and make you feel right at home. My physiotherapist Aaron was absolutely fantastic. I’d recommend him to everyone!

D'Arcy, is good at what he is does, when it comes to taking care of dizziness. This is the second time in about 5 years, I've seen him for the same issue and it's been taken care of immediately.he's calm, knowledgeable and informative. I drove home and ready to engage the day!

Big Scam Oriah Ori Be careful

I went to Dr. Oriah Ori for my orthotics, but after wearing them for a few hours I experienced tremendous pain. I booked another appointment in March to adjust them but Dr. Oriah cancelled that appointment due to the pandemic. So I booked another appointment in July during which she performed an adjustment, but didn’t help. I went to my family doctor to get an injection and pain killers, she told me do an ultrasound and x-ray. After completing diagnostic imaging, I wanted to go see Dr. Oriah with my reports so she could make adjustments accordingly. She told me I would either have to pay to make a new pair, or she will charge me $60 for each subsequent adjustment. I am struggling to understand why I have to pay $60 for the orthotics which she couldn’t even make correctly in the first place. No mention of these payments when I first decided to give my business to her, in fact she told me she would adjust them if there were any issues! How do I know the adjustment will work, and I won’t just have to fork over more money to keep adjusting them. As a patient, how do I know she is making them wrongly in the first place just so she can make money out of me for each adjustment?

I have been getting orthotics made for many years and have never come across such a policy. In fact, the Orthotists at Crowfoot Canadian footwear adjusted my orthotics without any subsequent charges. This makes sense as why would you charge me to fix something that you made incorrectly! I only decided to come here because I recently moved and my old orthotics place is too far away.

I strongly feel this place is a scam, they sell you defective products so you have to keep feeding their business to correct them. This doctor never told me about the charges beforehand and made it seem like there wouldn’t be additional payments. Save your money and time, take your business elsewhere!

When I was directed by my doctor to retain the services of a physiotherapist, she recommended these folks as being the best at what they do. She was totally right! Shelby, my physiotherapist, has been extremely patient with me as I work through my mobility issues, being sure to match my exercises with my abilities to get the maximum results. On her suggestion, I began to see Alanna for massage therapy, too. They are working as a team, consulting with each other to ensure that I am getting the best care possible. Add to that the super funny and friendly front staff and you have a winning combination - excellent service, excellent care, and excellent results!

As well as finding my physio very helpful, I was impressed with the posters and instructions posted throughout the Clinic on COVID safety related information!

I enjoyed my sessions with LifeMark Crowchild Twin Arena team. Shelby Taylor was my therapist. Even though it was all online, it was very effective. We had video sessions and she was kind enough to send links to exercises I could do.these links were recorded specialist helping with demonstrations. So I could login anytime of the day and do my exercise. This got me more engaged with the therapy and it became part of my daily life. My recovery process was faster and more consistent. Thank you so much Lifemark. The scheduling and responses were prompt. I strongly recommend Lifemark. They are caring, careful and concerned. I look forward to the next time I get to do physiotherapy with Lifemark Crowchild Twin Arena team again.

I am very grateful for therapist Susie Smith: her professionalism, knowledge and experience was key in my recovery. She figured out and successfully treated a complication to my injury that was missed by doctors and other practitioners.

Unprofessional. My best friend just had the worst experience here. Would not recommend. After a motor vehicle accident, you want your recovery process to be supported by caring professionals. That’s not the case here. With undertrained staff, they lack professionalism. Our incident was scheduling. Confirmed 3x for a scheduled time, then on the day of, 20 minutes before appointment, angry woman called to cancel. Lack of courtesy, respect and overall manners. Instead of apologizing, they attacked my friend! Imagine going through a traumatic experience such as a MVA, then dealing with insurance, lawyers, finances, and just trying to get back on track health wise. Imagine taking the day off for yourself, just to be cancelled on! Zero respect for other people’s times. Then at the end, she stated “have a nice day, or don’t, I don’t care! ” My friend is too traumatized to call back, but you guys gotta control the lady you got answering the phone.

My insurance company recommended I go to Lifemark Physiotherapy after an MVA. I have nothing but good things to say about all the staff! Having never attended physiotherapy prior to this, the front desk staff was very helpful it helping me book an appointment and in explaining the whole process to me. My physiotherapist, Susie Smith, has been wonderful! Not only did she effectively treat my neck and back injuries, but she left me feeling even stronger than I had pre-accident. Aside from being a skilled physiotherapist, Susie is also attentive and takes an interest in her patients. This made my introduction to physiotherapy, and the whole recovery process, very comfortable and even pleasant (as pleasant as recovering from a MVA can be). Susie also ensured that my physio "homework" suited my needs and my busy lifestyle. I would highly recommend Susie to anyone looking for a skilled, passionate and caring physiotherapist!

Absolutely traumatized by my experience here. I have never in my 21 years of living in Calgary had a worse experience, especially in the healthcare field.

A little context; LifeMark was recommended to me by my insurance company after my motor vehicle accident. My insurance reached out to Lifemark and they were aware of the severity of my injuries and traumatic experience. When LifeMark first reached out to me; they immediately booked the first time I asked for. I looked at it as being courteous, but I was wrong.

LifeMark only booked me in to cancel on me. I took time off, cancelled my plans, to prioritize my health.

As patients, we put our trust in healthcare providers. I am a professional in healthcare myself, coming from a family line of doctors. Never have I ever experienced such unprofessional, upright rude, untrained, uneducated and ill mannered staff than what exists at this clinic. LifeMark was quick to take my insurance’s money in hopes of being the ones in charge of my physio. But I am glad I never had to walk through those doors and experience more discrimination.

LifeMark booked me in, cancelled my appointment 20 minutes before (which apparently is common practice as per other reviews now that I see) but the worst was their secretaries attitude. She told me to “have a nice day, or don’t, I don’t care” after I inquired about why my appointment was cancelled when I was in their parking lot. She never apologized for the extreme inconvenience, just continued to say that “we never book appointments this late” it was 11AM? Maybe train your staff before putting them on the phone.

I've been going to this Lifemark for a very long time for various sports injuries.femur, ankle, quad, you name it. Most recently with physio Kim Lee-Knight who alsways get me back up and running again! 5*. Kudos to front desk. Sharon and Katina! 5* too!

I have been coming to this clinic for approximately 11 years now. I've had several workplace accidents / injuries that have required Physiotherapy. Jenn is the best physiotherapist I've ever met. She's phenomenal and has amazing knowledge. While I have seen a few others at this clinic and at others clinics, Jenn is by far the most hands-on and took the most time to get to know me and my injuries. I can't say enough about her. I don't know where I would be without her.

The front counter staff and the support staff at the back that assist the physiotherapists with the additional therapy supports such as heat, ultrasound, and electronic nerve stimulation are awesome. They are very engaging and friendly.

Something else that I really appreciate is this clinic has two private rooms. This is very important to me as when I am getting IMS I tend to have responses that I have no control over. And some people may mistake my emotional reaction for something other than not controllable. I'm very grateful that Jenn allows me to get the IMS in these rooms. I'm not comfortable having them out in the open area with just a curtain between me and someone else. These rooms and Jenn are the two reasons why I choose to go to this Clinic.

Again, can't say enough about Jenn, the support staff at the back and the front counter! I have referred several people and will continue to do so.

7 years of treatment for various maladies and injuries at this place. Phenomenal therapeutic staff, very effective and friendly desk staff, and a welcoming, unassuming atmosphere and location. Nothing but positive things to say about the diverse methods of treatment employed, quality of attention and attempt to fully understand the problem, and function of exercises prescribed.

The staff at Lifemark Physio Crowchild Twin Arena have been wonderful. The front line staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I can not say enough about my physiotherapist, Mary Anne. Nothing but great service, especially by D'Arcy but other physios as well.

I followed my physiotherapist Susie Smith to this location after being treated by her at her previous clinic. I have had recurring issues with my back and neck, and her treatments have done more for me than massage, acupuncture and chiro combined (although they all have a place in my treatment plan). She is professional, knowledgeable, understanding, listens clearly to me, and explains every step of the way. She leaves me with manageable stretches and exercises to do at home, and empowers me to be an active part of the treatment plan. I appreciate her friendly and outgoing nature and I feel comfortable with any treatment she provides. The front desk staff is also fantastic - Lifemark is a very welcoming and professional place for physio. I would recommend Susie and this location to anyone!

I fell off a ladder this past summer and am lucky to be alive after hitting the ground head-first. The impact caused terrible concussion symptoms and Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) in both ears. I'm certain that D'Arcy Gainor’s expert treatment accelerated my recovery from the concussion and BPPV. Without his help, I’d still be suffering. Thank you D’Arcy and team at Lifemark!

Awesome facility. Have recommended it several times. The ladies on the front desk are phenomenal as are the physios in the treatment area. These guys are the real deal!
