I am lucky to have had John Wenger as my physiotherapist. He listened to me and helped me get back to all the things I couldn’t do after my car accident. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a physiotherapist because he knows exactly what needs to be done to help you get better.

Good afternoon, I have been doing physiotherapy at Lifemark Maxbell with Barb for 9 months I believe. It has been a very positive and pleasant experience, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I’m having trouble with something there is always someone to help me, the staff always puts the patients needs first. I highly recommend Barb Morrison and Staff at Lifemark/Maxbell. Very exceptional atmosphere from the time you walk through the door. You get a super friendly receptionist at the counter with a bright smile and greeting’s. My physiotherapist Danielle work’s extremely well while working and targeting your need’s along side with other colleagues to support your goals I would highly recommend this facility.

Have been going to Lifemark at Max Bell for almost a year now after having nerve release surgery for carpal tunnel on both hands along with other nerve issues in both arms. John has been the most important part of my recovery both with pre AND post surgeries.
It is hard to find a good physiotherapist who is knowledgeable on musculoskeletal issues both with understanding of the pain you are in and how to help.
The staff at Max Bell are very pleasant to deal with and I Highly recommend seeing John for all your Physiotherapy needs. He understands how your current pain affects your work, life and everything in between and will definitely get you on the road to recovery.

I would definitely recommend this clinic to my family and friends, they are all amazing! Front desk staff, she is so welcoming and friendly every time I come in for my appointment and she is absolutely a perfect example for a great costumer service. I’ve been seeing Victor for my physio and he’s been incredibly awesome, so helpful and supportive since day 1 showing me different types of exercises, technically skilled and knowledgeable. Also, I’ve been seeing Elmer for massage, he has helped my recovery so much from my back pain and not just that but he is so approachable and easy to talk to. 10/10!

I was in a motor vehicle accident. My insurance sent me to max ballerina for physiotherapy. If it wasn’t for Christine and Alan I don’t think I would be doing so well. They are 100% amazing and if I had to do it over again, I would choose max ballerina, 100% the team is amazing

Great place. Amazing Physiotherapist s. They all take your injuries and concerns to heart. Been going there since 2014. Barb has been my physiotherapist and I ve been seen by others like John. But they are all great people. Would recommend it to other people.

Friendly staff. Been going there for some recovery from an accident. Place has been under construction entire time, so a little cluttered. But I would recommend my physiotherapist.

The staff are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. I have been seeing Christine for over a very and appreciate her empathy as I work both on my body recovery and mental well-being. She listens and asks questions, seeking to meet my needs in that time rather then making a plan for me. I genuinely appreciate the care I have been provided.

I would highly recommend Lifemark Physiotherapy at Max Bell Arena. John was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the physiology behind my injury before beginning with therapy. He took an active approach to recovery with a progression of stretches and exercises. After the first week, there was a noticeable difference in the severity and frequency of pain. After 4 weeks, my shoulder felt better than ever. I now have the tools and knowledge necessary to continue to build shoulder strength with a flexible workout plan and prevent further injury.

I have been suffering from frozen shoulder on and off for almost two years now. I have been to two other physio clinics but relapsed after a few months. I am glad that I finally went to Lifemark Maxbell. John did a great job helping me with my treatment plan. He is very accommodating and flexible when it comes to scheduling. I can say that my mobility definitely improved a lot. No more pain! With consistent exercise, I am confident that I can achieve full recovery. I would highly recommend John.

I started going to Max Bell Physio seeing John for a wrist injury, and he did an amazing job with needling, massaging and giving me stretches to do at home. He was flexible with how often I needed to come back and would check on how things were doing outside of our appointments. His quoted time to recover from the injury was accurate and he explained what was going on in a way I could understand. John is now helping me work through a chronic shoulder issue that I've struggled with for a long time and he's been great assessing it in ways other physios have never tried. Lots of at home exercises. Would recommend friends, family and coworkers to go

Staff were helpful and did a great job, and the physiotherapist Tim Harding helped me a lot with my recovery.

Best recovery physiotherapy place ever specially the physiotherapist (Lana) are helpful explaining all detail for exercises needed and step by step to be healed after surgery.

I saw a physiotherapist here for some back pain. I was shown a list of exercises to do at home. I was told they would be emailed but an email never came. I called a week later and informed them it hadn't been sent. They said they would leave a note with the the therapist to have it sent, but it still was never sent.

I started having pain in my right trap, shoulder and down my arm to my hand about 5 weeks ago. I saw John Wenger at Maxbell Lifemark physiotherapy and it was the best decision I made. Going in I sure felt old and wasn’t too optimistic of recovering as quickly as I did. John was positive and reassuring when I needed it the most. I’m back feeling young again and doing what I love most. I highly recommend John and Lifemark at Maxbell.

Before starting physio at lifemark I was sceptical about it. I had previously been to physio two different times for different reasons and had the same outcome each time. Neither time I had previously been produced positive results I was not better nor was I worse so I thought of physio as a joke, but this time was much different.
John is amazing at his job. He has changed my mind about physio and my life because of what he was able to do with my shoulder injury. I struggled with shoulder pain for over a year and then was in an automobile accident that compounded the injury. I went to see John at lifemark and he helped me realize that recovering from an injury is not just physical it is also mental. That if you dont believe in the methods of approach and the silly exercises recovery will take a lot longer. John actually listens and take time to find the right regiment for his patients to help get you back to living a normal life.

Been there once. Staff are nice. Linc was my physiotherapist. He was nice and very thorough and clear in the way he explained things.

John Wenger is a smart and talented young man. He has helped me recover from my workplace injury, after 2 surgeries he still takes the time to ensure the best treatment and method to rehabilitate my right wrist and bicep. I cannot recommend this man enough! He will get you moving again.

I first chose Lifemark at Max Bell for it's very convenient location and vast amounts of free parking. I was very sceptical of Physio Therapy and went in with many doubts. By the end of my first appointment with John, my whole outlook and opinion of Physio had changed. I was being treated for bunion surgery on my right foot and I credit my quick and trouble free recovery to John's magic. The treatments were always on time and very productive. He gave me exercises to do between appointments which were explained in detail and easy to work into my daily routine. This year I had my left foot operated on and I have returned to see John. Treatments are different this year since this foot has reacted to surgery differently then my right did. John is attentive to patients abilities and needs. He listens and sets up exercises that work as long as his instructions are followed.
Booking appointments is always quick and easy. There are no wait times, I am always seen at the scheduled time. Barb is the director of this fantastic clinic that I have told many friends about. My son and wife have both used their services and had equally productive and positive results. I highly recommend this clinic, and John for sure.

I had a TKR on Oct. 15th, 2019 - all of my 7 appointments with Christine Hamill were wonderful, I looked forward to every one of them, instead as some people I know who had replacements, dreaded. She was always so positive, professional and encouraging and knew exactly where I was at with my rehab. She monitored my progress and gave me the exercises that were always appropriate for my recovery never, too little and never too hard to discourage or hurt my knee. I feel blessed that I had her as my physiotherapist. My paid physio for recovery is finished.the other knee needs to be replaced and I wouldn't want anyone else other than Christine for my rehab.

I have physio there. Matt does a great job. A very proffesional Team. Everyone is friendly the Ladies on the front desk are Fantastic.

I have been receiving excellent care at Max Bell Lifemark. Barb designed a treatment plan specifically for my spinal cord injury and Christine couldn’t be a better therapist for implementing the plan. They are working collaboratively with my physicians and another physio who does traditional Chinese medicine. I feel well supported and encouraged and I credit them with the progress I’ve made in this phase of my recovery.

I feel as though I have truly lucked out having Christine as my physiotherapist!

Her compassionate, gentle and caring nature makes her a person who connects with her clients, putting them them at ease and assuring them they are in great hands.
She is very knowledgeable and explains things articulately. She took her time helping me to understand what my injury actually is, apart from the medical terminology which she knew very well.
It doesn't feel like physiotherapy is just a 'job' for her, she shows that it's a passion of hers, with the different techniques she implements and by furthering her education and experience.
I am immensely grateful to Christine and for having her be part of my journey.

I had a shoulder replacement back in January then was sent to Lifemark at Maxbell where i had Barb Morrison as my physiotherapist and she designed a treatment plan for my rehab and she was excellent with my recovery very friendly knowledgeable and listened to my concerns as well she developed a return to work plan for me to transition back to my job smoothly can’t thank her enough for the care that was awarded to me

Very grateful to John Wenger and Lifemark MB for what I consider to be an incredible result after only 4 PT sessions with John.

I am 66 years of age, aggravated an old shoulder injury my MD diagnosed as "impacted rotator cuff" and referred me for Physio. I was in deep pain, could not lie in one position at night for more than 1h and somewhat skeptical of how successful physio could be. I went to Lifemark Max Bell based on reviews, proximity and selected John Wenger as my therapist. John was very thorough in our initial 1h assessment session, laid out a home exercise plan and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. Not much relief in the initial 2 week period, after my 2nd session John gave me some additional (more complex) routines and shortly after a very sudden 90% improvement. I could sleep all night and the daytime pain gone. He added some additional routines during session 3 and significant progress continued. By the time I came back for session 4 I was as good as before. John released me from the routine visits, went over my technique in detail and said I will enjoy continual recovery if I keep up the at home routines.

The clinic is spotless, the staff gracious and John Wenger an absolute Boffin at what he does for the physically afflicted, I am now among the convinced. Thank you so much John and Lifemark!

A recent WCB back injury brought me here and I'm pleased to say I'm better now than before. I found all staff to be friendly, parking was never a problem, and for those who have trouble with stairs there is an elevator. I found Matt Flemmer to be very knowledgeable and committed to his work and thanks to that I'm now able to get back to doing the things i enjoy without any pain.

My physiotherapist John Wenger has been helping me with some running knee pain. During my visit he thoroughly explained what was going on with my knee and gave me a variety of exercises to help fix my problem! John was very professional and personable during this visit and was extremely attentive to my problem. Overall very pleased with my visit!

We may not be lucky to see how good the customer service at Maxbell location. We went there today Feb 25 at around 5: 45pm trying to book a spot for physio treatment and received a very non-cooperation response. The receptionist name Kealy (or spell similarly) didn't even welcome us, she coldly response to our questions, didn't even put any effort to cooperate with our schedule, she didn't even look at me or say anything when I said thank you to her. Therefore we left the place and tried at the other location with better respectful customer service.

The young girl at the reception desk (wearing glasses, I don't want to put her name here) was really rude and her clothes is not appropriate for a professional place like this. She gave us a dirty look and kept asking us to repeat what we asking and responsed to us like what we asked is non sense. We know we don't speak perfect English however we communicate with the other people just fine. I guest this place is not for people whom English is not their native languge then. We left and was treated a lot better from another Lifemark.

My physiotherapist John was able to assess and identify a recent climbing injury in my calf. Within the first visit John was able to start my treatment with a hands on approach and gave me many different take home exercises. After a couple of visits I was back to climbing as before my injury. Excellent experience!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff took great care of me. They have the shoulder program and it's one of the best physio experiences I have ever had. They take really good care of you and your overall wellbeing here.

Had a great 4 sessions here. Wish it were more walking accessible from forest lawn. Almost died trying to get there crossing Barlow on foot!
