Lifemark Physiotherapy Millwoods

Five stars for the staff, 10 if it was an option. The staff are AWESOME - the facility though is rundown and in need of current equipment and a fresh coat of paint. It would be nice to add rooms where private OT and PT visits could happen as well when they choose to renovate.

If I was a walk-in and not attending on an insurance claim and I did not know how fabulous the staff were I would have walked right back out again and missed the OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SOME REALLY GREAT PEOPLE AND TO HAVE RECEIVED EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.

The three stars are a reflection of Lifemarks decision to let it get that rundown in the first place (it's not the only location in need of attention) and not a reflection of the staff. As I mentioned above, the staff get 10 out of 10!

A big thank you to Kenny my Physiotherapist, for your care and treatments, I really appreciate all that you did in helping me get better. Thank you also my massage therapists, Jenny and Denise, as well as the front staff.

Jordan was my Occupational Therapist for my medical condition, who provided expert care. Jordan is very friendly which helped me feel comfortable to discuss my medical needs, she is very knowledgeable, was well prepared for our sessions, and explained goals of therapy in easy to understand language. Jordan and I successfully achieved my goals in therapy on my healing journey. The nature of Jordan's job requires a private office space to discuss confidential physical and/or mental health conditions, unfortunately there was not always an office available for our sessions and we had to meet in the general physiotherapy common area on occasion, which caused me concerns about confidentiality, and I would recommend that Jordan be provided a dedicated private office space for client meetings if possible.

This place is very good for massage Jenny is the best massage therapy. She knows what she has to do I love this place. Love to see her again

I was referred to Jordan for occupational therapy after a concussion, caused by a motor vehicle accident. She is intelligent, compassionate, and resourceful. I highly recommend Jordan and Lifemark.

The physiotherapist is good, but the front desk staff could be much better. Twice they booked me for the wrong date and time. It doesn't allow me to set proper schedules.

I have been seeing Jenny for 5 years now. In December 2022, I was in a car accident. I have pain on my shoulder and whole back. I went for Physiotherapy and Massage treatment in a Lifemark clinic close to where I live, but Jenny’s massage is different. So, I booked my remaining massage treatments with Jenny. She is very good at what she does. Always gives an excellent deep tissue massage, offering just the right amount of pressure. I absolutely recommend Jenny! Thank you.

I would like to share my experience at lifemark physiotherapy. Gurdeep sir is the best to go to, he did not just help me walking again after such a bad accident he motivated me and encouraged me.
He is a real Gem.

Based on my experience and observation, Staff at Mill Woods (Jenny and Gurdeep) are supportive, kind, and polite with clients. They demonstrate strong sense of professionalism and therapeutic relationship with clients. I would 100% without hesitation recommend their services to anyone needing physio and massage therapy.

Kunal has helped me make great progress in my knee injury recovery process. This is an injury I have left untreated for many years and I am now experiening less pain and a better quality of life due to the care Kunal has provided.

I went there with a stiff back but my physiotherapist Vinu was amazing. She suggested few back strengthening exercises and her needling technique was so good. She said you will be good in just 3 visits and will feel way better. Thank you Vinu and the staff will definitely visit back for any of my physio sessions.

I have all positive things to say about the care I received on my journey to recover from multiple fractures sustained as a result of an accident.

My physiotherapist, Mr. Gurdeep, provided the most professional service with adequate knowledge and care to help me with the recovery process. He is very knowledgeable and provides therapy keeping in mind the overall health condition of the patient.

My massage therapist was JENNY, very kind and helpful. I always felt so comfortable every time I had my massages with Jenny. Besides that, she was very knowledgeable when it comes to her stuff; she helped me relieved the stress of my shoulder and back muscle pain with her healing hands.

VINU was my Physiotherapist, a very nice lady. She helped me overcome my fear of needles; very skilled at doing needles. I used to have a very tight neck and back muscle, and my left shoulder was in a lot of pain after the vehicle accident. With Vinu’s care, I can totally feel a big improvement in my body. I’m really happy and very thankful Vinu!

Lynne was such a lovely person, she taught me a few exercises which helped improve my balance and headaches. Also, I had Nikki as an Occupational Therapist, very kind. Paid attention to my issues and helped me worked on it, helped me gain my confidence back and fight my fear when it comes to driving around.

Overall, Excellent facility and staff (including front desks) very kind and helpful. I highly recommend those amazing people mentioned above.

I loved coming to my physio appointments.
All the staff here are friendly and welcoming they are very knowledgeable and really care about you and are so happy with how far you have come in the program.
I was going 3 times a week and enjoyed every minute of my time here and will truly miss coming here thank you all for your support on my recovery.

I have been getting monthly massages with Alicia Knutson and I couldn’t be happier. Alicia pays attention to my existing issues and is great at uncovering and working on other problems in my back.
Working with her has greatly improved my back pain and arm numbness problems.
Alicia is friendly and courteous and always makes me feel comfortable. She strikes the right balance between communicating during the massage and allowing me to relax and enjoy the treatment.

Unfortunately for me this was my second round of physiotherapy due to an automobile accident. During one of my sessions with my physiotherapist (Koji- who is also the best by the way) he noticed I was crying and decided to refer me to Parisa Wazir, their Occupational Therapist. Unknowingly, I had developed a lot of emotional and psychology issues that I never realized was because of the accident. As if that wasn't enough, I had developed really bad driving anxiety. Through my sessions with Parisa a lot of the psychological issues I was experiencing have resolved. Her personality makes it really easy to open up. I'm so blessed to have had a physiotherapist who saw the signs and referred me to her. Parisa is absolutely awesome! I would definitely recommend Parisa!

Alyssa is really good at her job. She helped me get better with my motor vehicle accident injuries to lower back, hip and neck. She gave me few stretching exercises to strengthen my lower back and hip. I had to do them 3 times a day. She is very knowledgeable and know how much pressure to put on your tight muscles to relex. It was a very long recovery but got there slowly thanks to Alyssa. I will recommend to anyone who is suffering from any kind of injury or just a tight muscle lifemark Physio is your place. Thanks Alyssa for getting me back to normal.

Alyssa was very good with me, she was very professional always on time. My right hip joint was injured in a fall I took on the ice and tore the cartilage. I went in with two canes and I came out walking with none in 4 visits.
I was just sad that Lifemark doesn't bill Alberta Health.
After the third visit I went without a cane and I did the exercises 3 times a day, which will help me heal sooner and get stronger. I will keep up with the exercises.
Alyssa was very knowledgeable in the assessment. She knew exactly where to touch for the pressure points. She was very gentle but firm in getting her point across.
I know I was in extreme pain and I waited 1 1/2 years for treatment.
I would definitely recommend Alyssa to anyone and everyone in extreme pain or otherwise as she takes you through the steps of exercises slowly and precise, trust me you understand immediately what she is talking about.
I really enjoyed learning with Alyssa and she is very gentle and caring.

Parisa is an exceptional occupational therapist. She worked with me closely as I recovered from a motor vehicle collision. I found her to be extremely respectful, caring and empathetic. She helped me better understand my symptoms and guided me through the lengthy recovery process. I was provided with multiple resources to aid me on a weekly basis. She also helped me manage anxiety and sleep disturbances, as well as many other issues that I have been facing. She is always open and willing to help. I would recommend her to anyone needing help recovering from head injuries or post-concussion symptoms.

Both myself and my daughter have had great experiences going to Lifemark for Physio and massage. Vinu George is fantastically equipped with a wide range of techniques that lead to quick healing. The clinic also has a few wonderful Massage therapists, I have recommended them to friends. Keep up the great standard of care!

Good clean atmosphere, front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Was only there for a small amount of time and had the most progress then my last location and had been there for sometime. My physiotherapist, Alyssa Wall was easy to communicate with and always prepared with Exercises for exactly what I was asking and more. Would def be back If needed and suggested the Millwoods location to family and friends, very good experience.

Really great service. I worked with Vinodini Mohan, She is really kind and patient and really worked with my capabilities. She made sure I got all the equipment I needed and She checked in as much as i needed and always made sure that even with the virtual appointments, i was being safe and not over extending myself. I'm glad I got to send time working with her.

My experience at Lifemark physiotherapy has been great. I have physically improved, also my sessions with my OT therapist Parisa Wazir has given me options and tools that have helped me greatly. My total recovery process at Lifemark has made getting back to normal a much easier than I would have thought. I thank each and everyone i was in contact with there. Vinu (not sure about spelling tbh) is amazing! She's such a sweetheart and makes sure you know what she's doing and makes sure you understand each exercise she gives you. My shoulder is much better now because of her!

I’ve gone into Lifemark Millwoods for multiple treatments and was lucky to have Stephany treat me. She is very knowledgeable and patient with her treatments and treatment plans she has given me. She has also set me up for self treatments in the future. Fingers crossed I don’t need further treatments but she is the first one I’d call.

My physio therapist was Stephany, I really recommend her she is kind and makes you feel comfortable and treats the problem at hand. The massage therapist that I went to was named Jenny. She is one of the best massage therapists I have gone to and really works on where the pain is and the problem is rather then doing the standard massage that a lot of massage therapists do. Overall really happy with my experiences. Although, it was difficult at times to book appointments due to them being busy.

Great experience; lots of healing! Stephany was great with assessing my injury and then 'prescribing' the appropriate exercises and therapies. With the exception of one receptionist who did not rebook one appointment properly, everything else was great! No hassle completion of forms for WCB, and excellent reminders for appointments (text and email).

I’m currently receiving Physiotherapy after undergoing Arthroscopic Surgery on my knee. I’m really impressed at the level of professionalism, knowledge and care from my Physiotherapist Stephany. I would highly recommend Lifemark Physiotherapy Millwoods to anyone looking for a speedy recovery.

I had a great experience with the team at Lifemark Millwoods. Hemant was very thorough and took the time to explain to me treatment options. I was provided with exercises to not only recover from my injury, but also prevent any recurrance. I would not hesistate to recommend them.

I had lower back pain that became unbearable and I had been avoiding physiotherapy for a while. Once I started seeing Stephany, she got rid of my pain after only 3 sessions. She was also very friendly and made the whole experience lovely. She listened to my goals and designed a short exercise plan based on that. Wonderful experience; I highly recommend this place!
