Apparently, they’re too good To work with Canadian diamonds. It’s such a shame that for all of us local Canadians that go up to the northwest territories to work in our Canadian diamond mines. Can’t find anywhere to bring our authentic certificate and Canadian marked loose cut diamonds that we work so hard for. I’m very disappointed in Lims. And will no longer support their business. Makes me wonder where they get their “stones” from.

Jamie, Heang and all the staff provided me with a red carpet treatment. They were very informative and walked me through the whole process of customizing the perfect engagement ring. Very responsive when I had questions and was very transparent on my purchase. My fiancé loves her new ring!

Had a horrible experience with Lim. We were guided through the process, which was appreciated, however, when it got down to selecting certain aspect, the sales manager was extremely judgemental in my preference of stones. It was horrific and I will never step into this business again- I felt judged, belittled and completely misunderstood.

This completely took away from this being my experience and understanding what we would be happy with. I have a preference for natural stones, due to my Masters Thesis being about diamond mining- there is a personal connection to this aspect, which I shared with her. The sales associate kept telling me that my decision should be about love and shouldn’t be about the dollar value. I was absolutely appalled to hear her opinions to misaligned with what I value and why this was important to me. She completely manipulated the situation and tried to apply her values to our decision. I left the store in tears.

I would never ever consider lim for any of my goldsmith needs.

Jamie and the team at Lim Goldsmiths were amazing. They brought in several emeralds to choose from, found wonderful diamonds to match, and created a custom ring that I adore. Jamie was kind and welcoming, open to looking at a lot of photos for inspiration, and then made it all come together. I loved the whole process of creating the ring and now get to wear it every day. I had an excellent experience with Jamie and the team from Lims. From helping pick a stone to answering all my questions, of which there were many, their patience and knowledge were great.

The craftsmanship of the ring is top notch and the only downside is that my fiancé can’t stop looking at the ring.

The attention to detail is exquisite. The quality can be seen in the pieces in the cases but when you order any item it is all hand made. Making it more special and meaningful. The service is also amazing, they are so friendly and helpful. They are so knowledgeable and take the time to go through all aspects with you/ They don’t make you feel rushed. I brought my ring in and had what seemed like a problem, we went back and forth to figure out the best for me. Through it all they were very patient and kind. I bought my husband’s ring from them and the finished hand made product is exquisite and beautiful. I would not go anywhere else for my jewelry in the city. Designing our engagement ring with Lim Goldsmiths was a fantastic experience. Their customer service is prompt and professional and we could not be happier with the end result. I was very impressed with Lim Goldsmith! They are up-to-date on the current styles, only do exceptional high-quality work, and were very helpful for the resetting of my diamond. I now have a solitaire and wedding band that gets numerous compliments, and that I adore!

Secretly buying an engagement ring was super easy with Lim. Exteremely discrete. Very helpful with questions. Very open with diamond inventory. As soon as anything was ready, I had pictures/videos in my inbox/phone within minutes.

After researching for a month and visiting 6 different stores, it made me realize that I wanted something more custom.

I found Lim Goldsmiths on Instagram and saw the work they did and was impressed.

I visited the store and Jamie was absolutely fantastic, I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and she helped guide it to something truly stunning.

After that initial consultation they produced a 3D model for review, followed by a 3D print which really helped visualize what it would look like upon completion.

The end result was an amazing ring that was beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend Lim to anybody looking to get custom jewley made. They are a family buisness and care about thier customers and products.

Took my engagement ring (my mother's ring) to get sized down, as she was told that it wasn't sizeable I was really worried about taking it in. Am I sure ever glad I chose them! I had a time frame I would need it done for they had no problem accommodating me and even had it done earlier then I needed. Jamie immediately started drawing while I was talking and really listened to what I wanted, rather than trying to tell me what I wanted. Lim Goldsmiths is THE PLACE to get an engagement ring - especially a custom engagement ring. Jamie is so knowledgeable, friendly and was so patient with me during the design process. She also gave some great feedback when I was bouncing ideas off her. Jamie and Heang were able to incorporate all the ideas and details that I wanted in the ring, and translate them into an amazing custom engagement ring for me - including the intricate engravings on the inside of the band. Years ago, I had my custom wedding engagement ring and wedding band made by another local jeweler. Suffice to say, he didn’t do a good job and I’ve never really liked the set.

I went to a handful of jewelers this year to see who could re-make my engagement ring and LIM GOLDSMITHS was the best and obvious choice. From my very first contact with Jamie, I was blown away by her amazing service, enthusiasm and professionalism. She and Heang immediately understood what I was looking for and on the first attempt, prepared a perfect rendering of a new diamond halo for my original center stone.

Heang was specially trained in Europe and knows how to create maximum sparkle. The final product was classy and stunning. I LOVED working with Jamie and Heang, I have told everyone how fantastic they are and will 100% use them again. And again! And hopefully, again!:)
