Little India - Voted Best Indian, Dine-in, Takeout & Delivery

Need focus on buffet. I want to give 3 star but I like to go there for service and atmosphere. Food quality need to manage. Other wise good

I was impressed with the staff, there services were like welcoming home. Ram and Jasleen were amazing and definitely need 5 star to put on there shoulder, they were very respectful, responsible and creative. With the help of them I was able to give my friends and family an amazing time together. I am vegetarian very foodie and very picky so I think this is why I loved only few things in food the most (fresh naan, tandoori roti, Malai kofta, daal makhni, fresh chaat papri, desserts, salad). I will definitely come again here. Please do add saag, makki ki roti, rajma, bhindi in the menu.

Went for a baby shower, Ram has sunset up with a room and provided superb service throughout the night alongside jasleen. Food was great they brought fresh made chaat and naan to the tables. The food was great as it was not overly spicy and there was a great spread to pick from, vegetarian alongside some awesome meat dishes. Would recommend this to anyone and also a great place for a staff party or a birthday.
Make sure you have the warm gulab jamun, they are so addicting!

Food was really good and server was quite friendly. On weekend there is usually line up. Best indian restaurant in Edmonton.

My family and I tried all the restaurants in Edmonton but I gotta say this restaurant is my favorite. There food has real indian taste. Definitely will gonna recommend this restaurant to everybody

I went to this restaurant today I got some samosas the staff was so nice I appreciate how they work together the food was so good.the girl on the front was so nice she helped me to choose food.i think her name was Neha and also I got some information about catering food.highly recommended

The restaurant owner Bobby is extremely courteous, friendly and an impeccable service. The food quality is very fresh and delicious. Bravo to Bobby and Silky!

Very poor customer service, even they don't know how to talk with customers respectfully, I don't recommend any further business with them

Visited today, The food is excellent and servers too but the lady at front I am guessing she is manager or owner. She was not wearing the mask my whole dine in, even going around without a mask. Asking for record of immunisation when you are not wearing the mask, thats not fair and valid. You are putting other people's health on high risk. If you are exempted put a notice or something but going around w/o a mask is not acceptable for a restaurant that runs busy.

Great restaurant in Edmonton, it was quite busy and they were able to accomodate us without a reservation which was nice. Food was tasty and fresh.

Having moved to Canada 11 years and coming from West London UK, we sadly missed eating Indian food, tonight was a reminder of what excellent Indian food tastes like. A big thank you to Bobby and his talented team, the service was great, menu inviting and a most enjoyable evening. We will certainly visit again very soon.

Honestly the best buffet in town!
Plus fresh breads served at the table not soggy ones like most places.

I love little india. They have a gluten free Nan option which is so nice. I find the portion sizes and prices really good and the food always tastes great:) lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. I eat here often!

Very badly restaurant, very very very slow services for an average food. It time for changes. Management need to be trained.

Buffet tastes so good and fresh Naan served to us at the table was a nice tough.
My kids found the Butter Chicken a little spicy and our server brought a small batch for our kids made less spicy.
That's called Customer service!

Only two restaurants in Edmonton, that i like. Customer Service and Foodwise both. Little India is one of them.

I think I found my new favorite East Indian food buffet. All the dishes were fresh and regularly refilled. The naan is made to order brought to your table with the option of regular or garlic. Would highly recommend.

So as you replied I did came to your place but came for dine in got to know that you keep all the tips ……. Well plz give them their share this is Canada don’t make it India.

I would give a 4.5/5 if I could because the only thing I didn't thoroughly enjoy was the buffet dessert. I tried a little but of every thing and I would say the Gulab Jamun was the best dessert which for me was a pleasant surprise as I do not typically like it. Note there is a bigger and better selection at the front desk so you may have more luck with those options.

Now as far as the buffet style dinner portion of my experience. It was delightful. The Dal, Kafta, Paneer and Fish dishes were my favorite. There was a nice balance of both vegetarian and meat dishes. While I don't enjoy lamb my partner quite enjoyed the lamb. There was a nice balance of spice and heat to give a balanced bite of flavor. Between the 2 of us there wasn't anything we didn't try and didn't like.
We had wonderful service and the gentleman running the buffet area was courteous and gave us suggestions to try and he didn't disappoint.
Love having the various quality service checks and you can definitely see the environment is team oriented.
I highly recommend this place and we will 1000% be back.

WHAT A QUALITY RESTAURANT WITH QUALITY FOOD. Unless otherwise someone can recommend me a better place after 15 years in Canada we found a Restaurant with quality food and service. SATENDER was our server. Extremely polite, humble and attentive. He treated us the way customers should be treated. Value for money. Nice environment. If you are looking to treat your loved ones with a nice meal.
Please try this place.

Tried their Buffet (actually was forced to try it due to the very long wait for a la carte orders). Have to reduce the rating from 4 **** to 3 ***. Literally none of the items in the buffet (except for Hot & Sour Soup) were up to the mark. Even the Naans were of a lower quality. Sincerely hope that the buffet quality improves.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. They have a prominently displayed Halal certification plus the name of the supplier.
We tried many different items. All fish items were very good. All chicken items were very dry.
Special mention and kudos for Satinder and the lady who stayed well beyond their closing to serve us. Hope the management recognizes their excellent customer service

Last week we ordered takeout and the food here is scrumptious! The food was fresh and it was packed neatly. I recommend the mango butter chicken with the honey coconut nnan as it is one of the most mouthwatering combos and my son loves it so much! 10/10 would definitely come again. P. S: The Manager Bobby is super friendly!

Wow, such a gem of a Southasian cuisine and buffet located in Edmonton, Alberta. I had the dinner buffet here on a Friday. The reception was excellent, during covid we had no problems with our covid vaccine passports and ID check. Super smooth reception. Then to your table where the host advises you of the stuff that can be brought to your table such as fresh tandoori Naan and drinks. Then go grab a plate and dig in.they have a wide selection of Veg and Non Veg options. My alltime favorite the butter chicken was so well made that I had to photograph it to Saveur the taste later. The lamb vindaloo was well done and tasty. I also had the fish pakoras and house chicken soup which off course I had seconds. All in all everything was well done and cooked to perfection. The host was very friendly and took good care of all the customers. They have appetizers, main courses and dessert at reasonably prices for the dinner buffet.

I also tried the Sweets which you can order to go on your way out and let me tell you that I've never tried a pistachio barfi before and WOW soooo good. Must try after your yummy dinner.

All in all 5 out of 5. I'm a super fan of Little India from this date on and will visit next time I'm in the YEG!

We came to Edmonton for some shopping but also to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. We both love authentic Indian cuisine and Little India did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend eating there. Thanks for a great dinner experience. We will definitely be back again.

Been ordering takeout for a while now. Food is always tasty, nicely packaged and handed over by efficient staff. Will continue to order online for pickup. One day, might actually sit down and eat at the restaurant since it's so elegantly decorated.

We were there for birthday party, we spent almost 1 hour there. At 10: 30 pm we ask for gulab jamun, but they denied to take order. Waiter said, its already 10: 30 pm, we cannot take order. We told them, you can serve us the display one, we don’t need the hot gulab jamun, but they keep saying, its 10: 30 pm and didn’t take order. We are so disappointed with their customer service. Bad service

Overall experience is not bad.
Food quality, quantity.and menu is good.

Food manager is nice and care taker.

What sucks is the customer service at front desk. The lady/girl will make you feel like you made a mistake to enter this restaurant.
She make you feel that your business is not appreciated. We don’t know her name. She is there mostly charging momey froM the machine.

She definitely need to improve customer service or we need to change the place.

Sorry for this kind of review but i gave three benefits of doubt, it was happening again and again.

One of the few places left in the city, during this pandemic, which has stellar customer service. Their checking of the vaccine passport and sanitizing procedures was excellent. Reliably fantastic food during every visit.

The buffet selection was huge with so many option. Chaat papri served with the buffet was a nice touch.

Ordered takeout a couple of times from this place, both times I got a good, generous helping of my order. Today, I got the tandoori chicken, and it was very tasty, tender, and thoroughly marinated. They asked for my spice level, and I said 'medium ' and my mouth is now on fire, but not so much that I couldn't enjoy the fine taste created by their chef! Now that I've found out their convenient hours, I look forward to partaking of their nightly buffet!

We come here every week and Little India never disappoints us. Best place in the city and the owners are always working and greeting guests which you never seen in other restaurants.

They really care about the guest and service.

Excellent food and the servers are really friendly and nice. We came for the buffet for a birthday lunch and we're not disappointed. Vegetable and fish pakora were amazing, tandoori chicken very tasty. The butter chicken was great and good selection of vegetarian dishes, chick peas, paneer, spinach and curried potato and cauliflower. Will be back

I am so pleased to review this wonderful restaurant with fantastic owners. I asked the owner Bobby if he would offer a dairy free butter chicken for those of us with a dairy allergy. Butter Chicken is one of my very favourite dishes and I’ve been missing it! And he sure delivered! Butter chicken made with coconut milk and it’s delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant and to give the DF butter chicken a try (of course they still sell the original made with cream) Both versions are gluten free as well!

Best place to eat in Edmonton and even I didn’t find anything tastier in calgary too. What a customer service! Amazing! I would love to come again and try something new. I loved what I order soup was so amazing and dal makhani I just loved everything! Thumbs up guysss! Worth it

One of the best Indian buffets in Edmonton by far. The curries at Little India are so flavourful and delicious. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants by far. Can't wait to come back here once the restrictions let up!:)

There's a reason why they are voted the best. Incredible food, albeit a bit pricy. Color, texture, taste -> 10/10. Out of all the places I have tried, this wins, by a huge margin. Keep up the good work:)

The food from this place is exceptional and they always do a great job preparing it quickly and warm. I have never had any trouble getting food from here and getting everything as it should be. Only once when I used door dash to order out from here the restaurant unfortunately made a mistake with my order (really busy day on new year so understandable). The resteraunt was willing to re-do the wrong order and pay to deliver it to me while offering an extra dish. I've got to say that is exceptional customer service. Overall if you're dining in and looking for some great authentic Indian food, little india would be my choice 100% of the time.

I went to the Restaurant, order TAKEOUT, Chicken Tikka, the Portion Size, was too little for the Price, that was Only 4 pcs small Chicken, for 17.00 Dollars, to be honest, that's Rip off!
They should have a full Meal Menu, for tha Price.
I think will wait until Apendemic, then go back! Some people take Advantage of it

Such a delicious food. It was fresh, fully cooked and rich in flavors. Sure I will reccomend everyone for amazing food.even for the kids mild taste too. My kids loved it.

Waiting area was way overcrowded and the man preparing the food was not wearing his mask correctly and breathing all over peoples food. But the food smelled pretty good. If you're not worried about covid this place is probably great.

Placed a 90 dollar order today. Got 2 orders of butter chciken. 2 naan and 2 paneers.and 2 samosas. I got the recipet in my hands and when we got home no samosas we were charged for. We live on the west end. Thank you for ripping us off. Lady on phone said if we have sauce then we have the samosas. What kind of stupid answer is that and it makes no sense! We checked enitre bag and our recipet said 2 samosas and didntget them. We arent coming here again to get ripped offm

It is delicious. I love all the food we've tried (and we have tried a lot haha). My husband and I came here for my birthday and we ate until we couldn't fit anything. We liked it so much that we took my in-laws who had had a bad experience with Indian food before and did not want to try it again. We spoke so much about how good the food is that they finally agreed to come. They loved it! Definitely a place that we will be visiting often. The prices are fair and the portion sizes are perfect to share. Can't wait to try something different the next time we go. I hope the buffet comes back soon, can't wait to try that too.

Excellent service and delicious food! First time here and I will definitely be coming back soon. Satender is a great server and Bobby (the owner) was very nice and welcoming. Come here and try it out! Everything on the menu sounds great. I went with the Curry chicken, some of the best curry I’ve had.

I love their butter chicken and fish pakoras. Portions are generous and delicious. Have been going to this restaurant for more than a year and food is always very tasty. Also thanks to the cooks for delicious food and the servers for excellent customer services and always making dinning a pleasant experience.

The food was exceptional and plentiful! There was plenty of room to distance from others and still have an enjoyable meal.
