Little Scholars Daycare & Preschool - Berkley

My daughter has been going to Little Scholars Berkley since she was about 16 months old. She is almost 2 1/2. Miss Windy and her team are absolutely wonderful with the kids and great with the parents too. They effectively use the HiMama app to communicate diaper changes, food she ate, nap time and take lots of photos and videos of activities that they do throughout the day. They plan theme days for the kids to participate in. They take them outside daily, weather permitting. Overall, my daughter loves going to daycare every day which makes our mornings at home a lot easier. I would highly recommend this daycare.

The biggest thanks to Little Scholars. My daughter (who is now 4) has been attending Little Scholars since she was 14 months old. Having her start daycare (especially during the pandemic) was stressful, and all of the staff were incredible at putting my mind at ease. I can't imagine how tough that time must have been, but you would never know it- they always had a smile on their faces.

All of the teachers and the Director are warm, patient, kind, and caring, and you can tell that they care.

Communication is good, and I appreciate all of the photos, videos, and regular updates. The staff is always responsive, happy to answer any questions, and does what they can to accommodate each child's individual needs. There are always lots of new, fun activities, theme days, and events.

The teachers are amazing, and although my daughter no longer naps, I still don't know how they manage to get a room full of kids to nap at the same time.it's impressive.

I recommend Little Scholars; it's been a positive experience.

I honestly wish I could give less than 1 star
My son started here right before he was 1. We had no issues until he turned 3 and moved to a new room. Suddenly saying he was swearing. Now at the age of 3 kids act out. And I don't excuse his behavior, but the frustrating part was me and my husband were trying so hard at home to find a solution. We talked with him and discussed not using bad words. He would even tell his teacher he talked with us about it (as she told me)
They told me after the second time if it didn't stop they would have to take further action. I was in tears.how do I fix something I'm not seeing. The next day I got a call saying he swore and he's no longer welcome. I was floored. I payed for a month and there was a week left in the month. They said no he could not come back. When I tried to ask for help.what can we do what are they doing I was given 0 help. Told that they told him not to do it and that was all. That's not how we help children. I was so disappointed in the lack of support from a place that takes care of my child while I'm trying to work.
When we started a new daycare there was 0 swearing, however when the teacher would try to correct something he would jump and say please don't spank me.

This tells me there was some way more serious things happening at this daycare and I would very much NOT recommend you sending your child here.

We have been very happy with Little Scholars and I highly recommend it! The staff is friendly, communicate well, and are easy to work with. Most importantly, we trust them and our daughter loves spending her days with them! She always has a big smile on her face in the morning and is always having fun when we pick her up.

Wonderful daycare with experienced staff. It was my son's first full-day daycare, it only took him one and a half weeks to get used to it. Thanks to Ms. Aman. The transition was great. It let my son fully open up. My daughter also learned a lot in the classes. Ms. Hannah was a great teacher, super active, and organized.

The communication between the daycare and parents is very transparent. Super well-used mobile application keeps parents always in the loop of their children while at work. You will be amazed at how quick their responses are.

Ms. Neha also helps some of the parents apply subsidy with difficulties. She always keeps communication clear and provides helpful info to parents as needed.

We just started with Little Scholars in August and our 14 month old it loving it! He took a few weeks to warm up at drop off, but Little Scholars uses the Hi Mama app to provide videos each day, so we got to see him happy there after he fussed at drop off. He now waves bye to us before we even ring the doorbell and dives into his teachers arms when she answers the door. We have had a great experience so far, and we are happy to know our baby is in good care. We would happily recommend Little Scholars to anyone looking for care for their littles.

My daughter attends Little Scholar for the last year and she absolutely loves it! The staff and teachers are always so kind and caring towards her. She loves to socialize and learn new things. They provide a variety of activities for them to do and celebrating different holidays. I would recommend them.

Highly recommend - This daycare is so wonderful! The staff at Little Scholars Daycare have proved to me over and over again that my daughter is loved and taken very good care of here. My daughter absolutely loves to go here and is excited to see her teachers each morning.
Her days are filled with fun activities, learning and songs. I’ve seen my daughter expand on her skills and learn so many new words since going here. I cannot say enough good things about this daycare.

The Little Scholars Daycare is amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and professional. I love seeing our daughter get excited about going there every day. We started sending our son here was he was six months old. Going back to work while he was so young, there was a lot of anxiety and fear putting him into care but really with the team here I had nothing to worry about. My son loves the staff and is very engaged and excited to attend. As parents the staff are great to deal with and very communicative! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality child care!

I don't know if they're good at their work but the owner or manager cares mostly for money. I only wanted to enroll my child for one day per week in the beginning after a few months would gradually increase. But she showed me that she didn't want to cover the spot just for one day. And tried to avoid me. Maybe she was right looking out for her business but it didn't strike me well

It's a great place to be. The kids love it here. Always looking forward to seeing their teachers. Their social skills get better each day.

Both our kids have been here for almost a year. They are 3 and 5, come home super happy. My son does not like many people and he loves Hanna!:)

My son has been at Little Scholars for almost a year now. I'm so grateful knowing he's safe and having fun. All the staff are wonderful and have helped him open up. They do tons of activities and the meals are healthy. When we moved recently, we made sure to stay near the daycare so that my son could continue there.

I was so nervous to start my first baby in day care as I transitioned back into work, but the staff at Little Scholars Day Care have been absolutely amazing! Getting to know my son instantly! Celebrating him on his first Birthday! And I am so happy to see how happy he is when I drop him off! Gargi has been so helpful as this has been my first time looking into daycare! Great communication and caring staff! HIGHLY recommended if you are looking for daycare!

So happy I found Little Scholars for my 1 year old. This is my first child so finding a good daycare was important for me to ease my mind. The staff at the new location is great and the place is clean.

And so this is my review for this daycare. It's simply home away from home.
My toddler daughter started at this daycare October 2019. Considering the fact we moved recently to Canada, I was worried about my daughter coping. But it's been awesome. From the very first day, I knew within me that I made the best choice for my daughter. A month ago, my 1 year old son commenced as well. I was a bit nervous and worried how he was going to cope.

But the superb, caring and professional staff particularly Wendi (hope I got the name right) assured me he will be fine. And truly, he has been very fine. Everyday, I get report about his transition into the daycare and this calms my nerves. They are so patience with him, my daughter and even myself.
My love for this daycare made me restrict my house search to Northwest so that I can retain their slots. A very big thank you to all the staff.

To Gargi, you deserve 100 stars.

We are so happy we found Little Scholars Daycare for our little guy. Gargi has been so accommodating and easy to work with. All the ladies that work there are so considerate, especially to our son's needs. They make him feel welcomed every day with open arms. I would highly recommend Little Scholars to anyone. I highly recommend Little Scholars Daycare. My son started here when he was 2 and he is now turning 5. My son loves all the teachers and always enjoys going to daycare. The staff are wonderful and Ms. Garji has been absolutely amazing throughout our 2 years as well. It is truly a nurturing and caring environment. Thank you to the entire team

Little Scholars has been an great place for my two kids. Between the two of them they have been in the infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. The best part of this daycare is the staff. They are so loving and truly enjoy their time with the kids. Any time of day that I show up to pick up my kids they are interacting with the kids, singing, playing, crafting, reading. I would recommend this daycare if you are looking for a loving, caring, environment for your child to feel safe and taken care of.

Both of my children went to little scholars and now it's just my youngest. I have zero negative things to say about this place. They are phenomenal. So caring and kind. My kids are/ we're so happy here.

Great place. This daycare has loving and caring staff. Director is very approachable. I sent my son to many other daycares and he could not get adjusted and I had to keep changing daycares. At Little Scholars Daycare, within two days my son became very comfortable. Helped my son learn how to make friends and socialize. The best daycare in my opinion.

My daughter joined the daycare 7 months ago. I can see a tremendous change in my daughter's personality. I would like to thank Director Gargi saini and the whole staff for taking care of my kid. I am happy with my decision of choosing the daycare.

After several days when my son first started this daycare, I was quite satisfied with the treatment, care and the way they were acting with my child. After a few months I was delighted and proud that I chose Little scholars daycare.
The staff that is so well suited to all the individual needs of children is unbelievable. The Daycare director puts so much effort in all events, you can text/call her and she is always ready to listen and offer assistance as she is taking in consideration on how things would work by your opinion.
The staff is so friendly and closely working with parents to share all the praise and even the less commendable situations that happen throughout the day. I like this natural atmosphere where a child really needs to be a child.
We all live busy life, but this daycare successfully involves parents in decision-making and entertainment, which really helps parents to be an important link in deciding on how their child’s daycare should be.
I would highly recommend Littleschoolars daycare to all because you want to be part of it not just observer.

My son and I love this day care. It has lots of space for kids to play indoor and outdoor. They provide very good and healthy food. The staff is so loving, caring and always cheerful. My son never complained about his teachers so far which shows me that he is in a good care. The best thing about this day care is it closes at 6.pm. Gargi is the best day care director I have met so far and she takes reasonable steps right away if parents have issues with anything at this place. I liked the workshops she organized just for parents to get better with parenting skills for free, it's really amazing! Will definitely recommend this day care.

Our daughter has been going to this daycare since she was a baby she is now almost 4 years old. At first I was scared to send my kids to any daycares because of all of the horrifying stories you here about daycares but little scholars is the most amazing daycare the facility is clean and warming, all of the staff make you feel like your family and they are amazing with the kids. I wouldn’t ever pick a different daycare for my kids. I’ve now had two kids in this daycare. My daughter is extremely happy to get up in the morning to go to daycare.

So I honestly have to say that any bad reviews it’s just rude ignorant people talking from there bums. They have No clue and don’t have anything better to do than try to ruin people’s lives
