This place use to be my favorite halal restaurant until recent years. The portion sizes are substantially smaller and the food has gotten much more spicy and not enjoyable for us. We haven’t gone back since these changes and we were here every week at one point in time. We have replaced our patronage with other better halal restaurants in the city.
It's my 2nd visit. I had a terrible headache and asked if they sell bottled water. The lady said "no" but offered me a cup of water. Thanks so much! I truly appreciate it.
Their lamb briyani is good. I'm not a fan of spicy food, mind you, but can't resist it.
Wishing you continued health, wealth, prosperity and much more.
Decent kebab wrap when I don’t feel like driving to the NE. Service is mediocre at best, and food takes a long time to come even when there’s no one else in the restaurant. Overall, decent shop when craving Indian food in the south.
Just tried this restaurant today for a to-go meal and boy, was it a disaster! The chicken biryani had literally 5 tiny chicken pices and just some spice powder sprinkled over plain rice. It tasted horrible and the chicken pieces tasted raw on the inside. Taste 0/10 Next dish was chicken curry which was again with 5 small chicken pieces, rawish tasting meat and an inch of oil layer on the top. Taste 2/10. Also ordered a fish curry…never have we ever eaten a more pathetic fish curry. Forgot to click a picture before I got rid of the inch of oil layer floating again on the top. Taste negative 5. A waste of money and a spolied meal. The oil seeping from the dishes spilled over into the bag and formed a kind of pool at the base. That’s the kind of food to expect at this place. Not even decent portion sizes and very stingy on the protein. Each container was filled only half. No value absolutely for money paid. First and last visit. I think the worst one I’ve ever visited in a very long while. Try at your own risk.
I absolutely love the food here! The coconut rice and paneer tikka masala are SO amazing. I always order delivery or come in for pick up.
My only complaint is the portion sizes aren’t consistent!
Sometimes the curry containers are full to the very top, other times they’re only about half full. When that happens I end up with a lot of left over rice and no curry to eat it with.
If the portion sizes were consistent/full every time I’d easily give this place 5 stars!
Went there yesterday to try this spot. Wow very amazed with the food. The staff was kind and very attentive. I was very happy to find a clean spot with great halal food. It's a must try and you got to eat here.
Hi, I have ordered Tandoori Chicken in this restaurant and the so called Tandoori Chicken was deep fried instead of directly cooked in tandoor and it was burned and tasteless, had very bad experience, I Would not suggest tandoor dishes here.
The girl who helped me was very smart and friendly. I just want some takeout at around 4: 00pm. However, I don’t have much time to wait. She asked kitchen to prepare butter chicken for me within 5 minutes.
I ordered butter chicken from there and the taste was so dusty, their chicken was not cooked properly, the smell was also not good. Overall, it was not good, and I can’t even eat it, after taking first bite, am like what is this. And, at last, have to waste it.
Worst experience ever. The rice was not fresh at all.chicken Baryani had 3 small pieces of chicken. The staff was super rude. Not a good food and waist if money.
Little Spice is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Pakistani cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Biryani and Kebabs, and I was blown away by the flavors. The Biryani was a perfect blend of aromatic rice and tender chicken, while the Kebabs were grilled to perfection, boasting mouthwatering spices and the portion size was good. Even as takeaway, the food remained fresh and flavorful. If you're seeking a true taste of Pakistan, Little Spice is a must-try restaurant that won't disappoint. Dont forget to try their Gulab Jamun for dessert!
Really good place, Have been here many times and I'll always go back, good front desk young lady.first time you think she's ignoring you but we go back all the time and you just find out it's a culture thing. Food is the best in the south I would say.
Their lamb biryani and chicken sheesh kebab is really good. Food is properly spiced as per the original recipes and not the shortcut method taken by a lot of other restaurants. For something really mild, the afghani tikka hits the spot. It's quite unpretentious with fast service, and I like it that way. Edit: Portion sizes have reduced. Hardly any lamb in the biryani now.
