We ordered banana muffin and asked he could heat it up for us. We got a dismissive response from the guy like we were asking a dumb question. The mocha we ordered were left on the counter without informing us when it is ready, while they were talking among themselves. We also find it strange that the servers are friendlier to certain customers.
Their Italian ice cream is soooooo good! Personally I'd recommend the sesame icecream The staff is super welcoming and passionate about their job. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place!
Came here yesterday morning for coffee and decided to try the breakfast sandwich (with bacon). It was so good. We returned this morning for another one.
It costs $8 without bacon and an extra $2 to add bacon. Definitely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. And had lots of flavour. Worth it.
If you want an impersonal guest experience go here. They'll look and behave as miserable as the coffee they produce. Lifeless espresso shot - which you'd be able to taste regardless of milk volume, if it were pulled correctly. Sadly no double check either (because why do we need a 12oz cappuccino?). Love the main bakery. But this Banff Ave establishment can be skipped.
Just popped in quickly for a coffee. I try to stop in when I'm in Banff. It is a nice place and the flat white was terrific. Staff was pretty nice, seemed preoccupied with other tasks. I'd recommend for the coffee.
Literally the worst white hot chocolate I have ever had! It is made with a syrup that barely had any flavour, my niece got a London fog and it was so bad she couldn’t even distinguish the flavour. Service wasn’t great either. They barely even smiled and I witnessed her scooch away a customer who was “too close to the counter”. So weird… NEVER going back. Do NOT Easter your time or money
Good coffee and croissants. The croissants and chocolatines were also quite fresh and delicious. Seating can be quite limited so this is more like a grab-and-go cafe.
We stopped in to kill some time before our dinner reservation and this is a nice little coffee shop. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte with Almond milk and it was very refreshing. My husband and I split a croissant and that was light, flaky, goodness! The staff here are very friendly and made our drinks quickly. No complaints from me and we would definitely return.
Some other coffee shops didn't know how to extract a shot, but the Aussies working here were doing textbook pour-overs and latte art. 100% recommend getting your coffee from here.
Horrible staff. Female employee working at this time is treating customers terribly. Rolling her eyes behind their backs and making comments every time someone asks for anything. Messed up our order and blamed us for it, making sarcastic comments to male coworker. Obviously need new staff, no wonder all the other coffee shops in banff are busier than here.
Amazing coffee shop in downtown Banff - great selection of pastries as well! Also be sure take at the local animal painting prints they have on display!
