They were great they checked my niece's car and did not charge for the assessment. Unfortunately my niece decided to fix the car herself.

Brought my vehicle here for a second opinion, after the first mechanic qouted $15,000 for a new transmission. Transmission was fine and it ended up being something else very minor. Trevor was friendly and easy to deal with. I would easily recommend this place to other people.

I'm a little afraid to give an outstanding review, these guys do such amazing work, they're highly sought after, I've spoken with Trevor and a member of his staff, great guys, I brought in my dually, Shes a chevy 88, nice little Truck, we were gonna slap a 4 speed in it, but hard to find, we settled on a automatic, best with highway travel through the mountains, what you can appreciate, is the custom touch to each job, my truck will be ready in a week or so, I know it's in good hands, square bodies are a loved

Trevor replaced my Manual Transmission for Nissan Juke with a used one with 60K on it, Good job its working perfectly like a new Transmission. Just be patient as they are very busy since COVID start.

My Dodge Journey was leaking transmission fluid so I took it for repair. Great service, great knowledge, fair pricing and over all a good experience. They fixed more than I asked for without charging me.

Bottom line: highly recommend against taking your vehicle in to this business. Wish I had paid more attention to the other negative reviews. My vehicle problem was still there after they worked on it and charged me over $1,200. Trevor would not stand behind his work even though I brought it to his attention well within the warranty period.

These guys are great, although the issue I was having could not be reproduced, I was impressed with there expertise and the time they took in understanding the issue and explaining the technology of my transmission. Also, and most importantly, I was not charged any cost as no work was actually done. I will return to this shop if I have any other issues and recommend it to everyone. Martin P

Was told by Nissan that I needed a new transmission $8000. Trevor fixed my car for $340. I will continue to go here for mechanical work. Trevor does his homework before he guess at the problem.

Waited from 6: 50-7: 10. No one was there when they're supposed to open at 7. Never going back.

Trevor is the guy to deal with! Took my Allroad in and he pinpointed the leak, repaired it and topped up my transmission. I was on my way in no time at all!

These guys scammed me.i walked into here thinking they were the mechanics next door but they turned out to do all mechanic work. It was on short notice and needed a place that had time to fix my car right away so i went with them.

I didnt have a transmission problem but wanted new brake pads, rotors and back brakes, check sparkplugs, replace my wheel bearing, and do an alignment which they said they could do. Kindly he told me i didnt need the back brakes done and the sparkplugs were fine (they could have replaced then unneccesarily but didn't).
But they did the front rotors and pads, alignment, and wheel bearing.

Now they told me the next day it would be done. I phone the next day and they arent done, i say no prob and wait and wait.

After 3 long days at the very end of the day they finally finish it after i kept phoning and asking.

I get my car back and drive off then my brake light turns on. I take it back and they clear the alarm and say if it comes back then bring my car back in because they will have to replace the sensor. I say no problem and leave.

So then the alarm comes back, and i can hear a funny sound coming from the wheel and then while driving the sound got real loud and my rpm's shot through the roof while driving 60kmh on flat road. It was NOT doing that before.

I take it back and politley ask them to please fix it. The older guy gets really agitated, so i pointed out that he told me to come back if the alarm returns and he says, well you should have come back first thing in the morning not 12 in the afternoon! " I say, well can he fix it and he says no.this is on like December 22rd, 2017 so he tells me we are closed until like January 2nd or something like that due to Christmas break and are now too busy to help me and to come back in january.

Not only that it was in a very aggresive tone that he gave me this dialogue.

I stayed cool and politley told them i cant wait until then i need be able to drive my car and told him the about the rpm's shooting up and all. Both the guys started laughing at me and basically calling me a liar accusing me of making up the story and told me they cant look at it now they are too busy.

So i took my car to canadian tire that day and had to pay for a diagnostic to see what the problem was and they found out THE WHEEL BEARING THESE GUYS HAD JUST INSTALLED WAS THE PROBLEM. They fixed it that day. I had to pay for the same repair twice plus a diagnostic. They said the bearing was either installed incorrectly or it was defective, either way it was all singed and black and burnt when they took it out. I kept it so i could prove it later.

I took it back to these guys and showed it to them and asked for the money for the bearing back, they can keep the money for the labour, i told them things happen i know and please just give a refund for the part which isnt hard because i know they can return it to the manufacturer. I didnt want confrontation because of the aggresion last time but they obliged and gave it back without incident, though i only got the money back for the cost of the part but not labour.

But thats not the worst thing they did.a few months later, maybe 5 or 6, my steering wheel starts shaking and my car starts dangerously pulling to one side when braking at higher speeds.

I take it to canadian tire and they tell me my rotors are all warped and need replacing.

THAT MEANS THESE GUYS CHARGED ME FOR WORK THEY DIDNT DO! (Either that or they installed used old rotors when i paid them for brand new parts)

And the guys at canadian tire said they dont just replace rotors they have to do the pads with them so i had to pay for the work all over again. Everything was fine after canadian tire fixed it.

These guys scammed me and stole my money and time. I had to pay for the expensive repairs twice because of the rework on the wheel bearing and AGAIN for the rework brake pads and rotors.

Please dont let your hard earned cash be taken from you like this, i took the time to write this so nobody gets swindled like i did.

In August 2017 my car was brought to this shop (twice in 30 days for the same problem) by Southtown Hyundai and when I went to pick my car up from low-cost there was a dispute about the bill so I called Southtown Hyundai to get it resolved and while on the phone a worker from low-cost transmission got in my car and run me down. There was a long police investigation which went nowhere because there was no Witnesses other then one other worker that lied to the police. Due to my injuries I've been on able to work and I get no compensation for it. After they rebuild the transmission it lasted 30 days and they would not warranty it. I highly recommend NOT getting any work done to anything here. Not to mention they broke wires, fittings and plug-ins and just electric taped what was broke instead of fixing it property
