Love this store and the underground parking but I wish the selection was better for the basics. Great if you want special stuff though.

I had a great time coming here. Went to winners with my friend and of course what was supposed to be a quick trip turned into not being able to decide what to get. So many options of beautiful clothes. And shoes I got flats. N I love them lol. My friend got a bunch of clothes and they are very nice. Winners is a great place to shop for beautiful things.

It's like a very nice, clean Superstore. Good prices and selection, well-stocked and nicely merchandised. Very large bakery, deli, and prepared food sections.

Fine for milk-bread-eggs type stuff, BUT, and I cannot emphasize this enough, do NOT buy meat/poultry here, ESPECIALLY if it's on special. In my experience, it's at least a year since this store's meat was trustworthy. Sad.

Lately the store has been ridiculously hot on hot days. Please adjust the ac according to the weather. It is 26 out but it's much hotter in the store. It can be torture being there. I was absolutely pouring sweat in the store today and many others looked hot and red and dewy. The temp needs to be about 28 or higher for me to sweat that much. That's not a reasonable room temperature. I feel sorry for the workers that have to suffer that much from the heat in the store.

Poor selection, high prices. There are 2 Safeways within 800m so there is no reason to shop here.

I use to love this store but everything is so expensive now, especially meat and produce! Plus everything is package in smaller portions. I would avoid this store if you’re trying to stick to a budget or are feeding a large family.

I went for grocery today to grab ground meat but noticed there’s only few on display like close to nothing at meat section of the store. I thought someone hoarded all of them earlier for a rush occasion or something, and that possibly could happen. Then I saw a note stating the reason why, an apology from the management due to NO BUTCHERS came in today. As a customer I was surprised that they wrote something like that, because for me it gave me such thinking, are the employee in the kitchen been treated fairly at all or there’s other valid and understanding reason why. They could have say something else other than all butchers didn’t came today. So when I came to pay my stuff at the cashier, I asked the lady. She even confirmed to me that all of them didn’t showed up to work today. So with that all being said, for the management of Loblaw in Oliver Square to avoid such questioning or thinking from customers, it can be worse to, I would not informed internal issue of the business outside to avoid certain thought to some customers that may create or elevate the situations to something every businesses doesn’t wish to happen that would involve legal matters. I hope it’s just a simple matter that the company can handle effectively and efficiently and for sure things will work out in the end. But if the problem is the employees are not satisfied with the effort and time they put in at work, I pray that they’ll be treated good accordingly and be heard and get what they deserve. I love to shop at Loblaws and everyone are really great and helpful. I wish Loblaws all the best and it’s employees.

Four stars becuaee their produce doesn't look fresh. Like wilted. But other departments are good.

Makes me feel like I'm back in Montreal, I just wish there was one on the Southside, this ones a bit far. But it's worth the trip because there's other cool businesses nearby!

A Real gem in the heart of downtown Edmonton. The produce section is worth the visit alone with unbelievable lighting and great selection, let alone everything else there. Highly recommend!

I love this market! Sometimes I go just to wander around and fog up the glass while eyeing the pastries and meats that I really shouldn’t eat, but buy anyway. Fresh produce and a large selection of cheese and meats too. I love that they have so many options for quick dinners/lunches. I do find that they can be a bit pricey though, that’s pretty much the only reason why I rated it a 4/5. During one of my adventures I spotted a misspelled sign and had to take a photo before informing staff. Enjoy a good laugh.hopefully “the crap” tasted good!

Very clean and organized grocery store. A little too high of pricing for me, but you can find a verity of food items here, especially ready cooked foods. Very good deli and bakery shop. Thanks

The bakery section is adorable and they always have neat grocery items I don't see at other stores, but their prices can be high despite some items being from the presidents choice brand. Also, on Monday evening the meat department was severely understocked, so that was a little disappointing.

The colour scheme hurts my eyes lol, it’s very bright in here and I feel like the people who work here are not that approachable? They don’t ask you if you need any help, they’re very dry when you’re checking out.
However I find myself coming back for their delicious sushi, baked goods and smoothies! They are all sooo delicious! Some things are more expensive than others, I wouldn’t do my regular grocery shopping here.

Clean store. Make sure to double check the price before checkout as they don't honour in store pricing afterwards.

Love this location as it has a rural feel while offering all the big city products.

The staff are always friendly, informative and willing to help. They were all adhering to the Covid-19 protocols and ensuring capacity limits were enforced.

If you're looking for a great place to spend your hard earned money to ensure good value while receiving a top notch customer service experience, this is a must visit.

Their Garlic bread is always moldy, I bought one with an expiry date of Oct 27 and low and behold on Oct 17 it was already moldy. Gross! This is not the first time this has happened!

The sandwich menu has room for more excitement I'd say. I enjoyed the nice, clean, stylish interiors however I wish the staff at the sandwich bar gave more attention to customer experience

This is one of my favorite complexes for shopping in town. Under ground parking is great to keep the blazing sun off of that shiny new car.

If you want to bring home bad, spoiled food, while paying that more, this is the place for you. Often poorly stored expired goods, definitely the worst quality and spoiled fruit, as well as vegetables. Poor product selection and not very hospitable staff. This one star is definitely too much for this store.

They need to do a better job of keeping up with stock for the 18L water refills. They're sold out WAY too frequently. I can't drink tap water because my stomach is sensitive to all the added chlorine and fluoride. It makes me throw up and feel really sick in general. Brita does a better job at disguising the taste than filtering that stuff out. If you guys are sold out that frequently, either order more at a time or order more frequently. Stop ordering at the current rates and order at whatever rate they are being sold. It's not that hard. At least 1/4 of the time I go to pick up water they are sold out. Are you guys not keeping track of your inventory when ordering stock?

Great place to shop for fresh produce + grocery!
This place is convenient, clean, abundance of selection commercial food items, awesome fresh salad, soup + sandwich bar, custome cakes, tasty muffins and great customer service.up stairs you can buy some clothes at winner's after hard day of shopping and a wicked shoes store if you feel the need to treat yourself after long day. Brewery city Market is the place to be.

Lots of variety with separate areas for deli bakery patisserie etc a little bit pricier than other markets in the same chain though

It’s a little annoying when you get hassled to donate $2 when you’re buying like $5 worth of stuff. However, being able to park underground in -30 is something that can’t be beat. Especially with the annoying 15 % capacity lineups.

Beautiful store; everything you need and more.i understand the branding but there is just a little too much red for my diet. Prices are bumped a bit higher than everywhere else in the area.

I prefer to grab my water gallons from this location as it is conveniently close to my home. However, communication within their team seems to be lacking. First time I called ahead of time to ask if there were any filled water gallons and the supervisor on duty told me there were tons but when I arrived to purchase one - there were none. The second time, a male employee answered the phone and told me there were lots available but the same exact thing happened. It's getting more and more demotivating to patronize this location when I don't feel like proper due diligence is being done for its patrons.

I gave 4 stars on account I only shop in the 1st hour of opening or last 40 mins of closing, less traffic and fast checkout.no crowds.or directional challenged "Karen's and Kevin's".

Nice location with ample parking. Great selection of fresh foods and seafood. I think the design/layout is kinda weird and will take some getting used to. Some things are quite expensive here too and they dont have a wide selection of canned food and stuff like that. But it gets the job done

This store is excellent for fresh foods, produce, and has a great meat and seafood section. Expensive for canned/boxed/packaged foods and the selection is not the same as you would get at a larger store. But, still a nice place to pop in if you need more fresh food than packaged! They also have some local products, like Pinnochio ice cream, which is awesome.

I been shopping at city market for 2years now I don't go any other place to shop I love this market.always have what I need.good prices and good sevice staff are always helpful and very nice to shoppers. Thank u for your service

Usually an ok place to grab a couple things as needed, I live nearby and have been coming here frequently since it opened. Won’t be back however after seeing a cashier today (12: 30) with his mask well down past his nose waving people over to his rather empty line (no wonder). Some shook their heads no and gestured to his mask. What could have been an potential accident was very apparently not one as he decided to leave it down.

This feels very unhygienic and makes you wonder what other safety practices are being ignored at this store.

You made me wait in line.had 1 cashier working even though it was busy as hell and your autoteller is rude. Plz program it with small talk or current events.weather in summer and sports all winter would be fine.

I suggest always checking your receipt at this place. I always have something or the other priced higher on the receipt than it is in the store and then have to go to the service desk to get it corrected. A few cents and dollars worth of mistakes adds up over the months. Multiply that with the foot traffic and it is a recipe for easy profit for the company. Hence my 2 stars - one for the convenient location and the second for the variety of items inside - groceries plus heat-and-eat plus bakery plus a coffee shop. I'd give it 3 or 4 stars if they increase the variety of veggies and international ingredients they stock.

A little pricier, but has a wide selection and it's always super clean and the staff are always friendly.

I dropped my eggs on the way out (completely my fault) and they gave me a new carton for free no questions asked, it was very nice of them!

Love it here! They're doing an amazing job complying with COVID restrictions/regulations (unlike the superstore a few blocks away) and it feels like a farmers market but for Loblaws prices! By far my favourite grocery store in the city for "nicer" items (nothing beats Costco bulk). Their cheese wall alone is worth the extra stop.

Great place to shop, but they currently have no arrows on the floor anymore, and staff doesnt make sure people social distance.the lack of directional arrows is really frustrating, as they were here a month ago.

Just walking into this place makes me so happy. Over half of the store is made up of the most amazing produce section I've ever seen. Every and any produce, bakery, individually prepared meal items you can think of. AND freshly made smoothies, desserts, etc.etc.etc. Just go there - Grocery shopping will never be the same again.

Store layout is so cool, their meat selection is unrivaled and the bakery/juice bar are phenomenal. Truly a marvelous store, however the staff is VERY rude, prices are VERY inflated, and their basic household/non specialty selection is pathetic. I literally live behind the store and I find myself still driving to superstore and no frills for better selection/prices.

Great place for produce, meat, seafood and bakery. Not the best stop of you have a lot of non-perishables on your list.

This is my favourite grocery store. I live about equal distance from this and the two other grocery stores in the area and this is hands down my favourite place to grocery shop, to the extent I have only been to one of the others once since its opening. Selection is great, especially for fresh and healthy foods. A little weird to navigate with the pandemic (start in the cleaning then go to the right from there into produce if you need to shop the aisles), but still a fantastic place to shop. Staff are always friendly. Store has always been clean, even before the pandemic.

They have a large number of gluten free items. They have underground parking that accommodate shopping carts. Great place to go when it's cold out.

I just like to say the young Male staff name Alvin that was helping me with my flash food and my lottery tickets was super helpful, friendly and has Great Customer Service. Thank You.

Very beautiful store but pretty confusing to navigate; decent selection but lacking in a lot of things I'd be looking for (variety of fresh herbs, alfalfa sprouts for example). The selection of meats and dairy is STELLAR and I highly recommend checking out their craft cheeses, bakery, and butcher's options; they also have a great variety of frozen fruits and veggies for smoothie making.
If you're in the Down Town Edmonton area I recommend checking this grocer out.

Beautiful layout, great prices on pork and beef, I absolutely love the bakery and deli.

Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I bought a turkey and it had live bugs inside of it. Not necessarily the stores fault, but was off-putting. I called and they offered to refund me. Good service!

I live in the south side and yet I drive across the city to come to this place, love the look and layout of it. Prices are great most times, the hot food section is killer. Lots of options with pre-made meals if that's your bag. Its got a vibe and I like it.

Vegetables are fresh, fish Mongers, butchers on staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the place is always clean. I actually enjoy grocery shopping again. People working there are helpful and nice. Prices are ok, but whats cheap in these times.

Clean, well stocked & friendly staff. Amazing selection in bakery, produce, meat and cheese departments. Prices are very competitive and they have great sales throughout the store. Plenty of parking available.

I keep coming back for curbside pickup. The pickup is quick and the staff even asks me if I want to add something else to my order, very friendly and they close the trunk for me after loading my groceries. Plus there is music outside in the parking lot. I'm not giving a full stars review because the item I said I wanted to add was not there when I got home, and prices are a but higher than the superstore even though they are the same.

An employee at city market bought my two year old a toy car for Christmas. What a kind thing to do for a complete stranger ️

Fruit & Veg.) : On a few visits I could not find any posted prices for some products. In some other departments incorrect prices were posted (too high or too low). Good deals on some single DVDs / Blu - rays. Great deals on some multipak DVD sets (ie. The
Twilight Zone (Rod Serling, 1968 Season: 5 DVD set for $10.00 + GST).

I have had a pleasant experience with this Loblaws branch. This store is pretty big, well maintained and nicely organized. They have fresh produce, deli, bakery etc. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable and they have very fast service. This location is in the Oliver's square, which is a popular place for the Edmontonians. The lady cashier cashier working that time was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a beautiful grocery store. If I could afford it I would always shop here. Lovely pre-made meals, beautiful layout. Only downside is the price, but their sales items are decent.
