Lockdown Escape Rooms Red Deer

Always a great outing for date night or family time! It's definitely a decent value and something as a family you can afford to do once every couple months

Wasn't as fun and when I asked twice to pause, the employee ignored, he only listened when my boyfriend yelled it.
We were the only ones in there at the time, so I don't know why I was ignored.

During the first few minutes of starting, the employee touched my leg, I don't like people touching me. It also wasn't mentioned that there would be teaching, it was unwanted.

Update: we were the only people in the store, there were no other customers in.the touch didn't bring any scary factors to the game, it only brought uncomfort.
I did remove the headset and the game was still going, I wasn't scared at any point in the game, it was boring, not scary. That's part of why I left early.
I wanted to pause the game because I had mascara in my eye.

Maybe have better employees and more interesting games.maybe try them too.

The game master we had was very nice and asked if we wanted the extras, I think that was very caring of her to ask since it was my 11yr old son's birthday party choice 4 friends and 9 year old brother with us. The room we did was The Study 2 and was great. We had 2 locks left (not sure how many total).
All friends said they loved it and would do it again.

We did The Study 2 and it was awesome. Karen helped us out as out GM, also had another lovely lady who made us laugh when we needed a hint. I said “your not Karen” when she walked in and she said well “fine be that way” and went to go walk out. All of this was her joking and it made us laugh and made our night. We are still talking about it like 4 hours afterwards. Amazing date night and not bad priced for an escape room, in Calgary the price would of been like 65-75$ for me and my husband but we’re already wanting to go back next weekend. I recommend the study 2 for if you’ve done a few escape rooms but not for yours first one. Some of the clues really made our brains work which I really appreciated. Lovely staff only downside is day is we waited a little longer after signing our waivers but that’s about it. Amazing otherwise. Will definitely be back, hopefully next weekend.

10 out of 10 recommend. First time trying an escape room. Enjoyed the experience and staff.

Create puzzles, great effects and our game master Kevin was a great guide. Lots of fun!

Kevin was the game.master. He was gentle with the handcuffs and good in the dark. It was an amazing adventure, all 5 of us had fun.

Really great rooms and staff. Doing a marathon of 4 rooms in a day and it's been a really fun time. Highly recommended.

Our team name was Mild Madness and we managed to escape.

Our overseer, Sean, was courteous and thorough with explanations and warnings, making sure to convey what to expect and making sure we had a fair level of immersion.

Part way through, Kevin took over and provided us with an equally enjoyable experience. For the eight of us, we were able to escape with very few hints and had an enjoyable experience.

Definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

Excellent service, neat puzzles. Could've used a warning about flickering lights (being nightblind added an extra level of difficulty) for anyone who has epilepsy, but the content was otherwise enjoyable.

Absolutely one of the funnest experiences you can have in Red Deer. Well worth the time to visit.

It was such a great experience, the puzzles were well put together and there was a large variety of puzzles as well! The game masters always do a fantastic job, especially this last time, they really hit it straight on the nose

What an amazing time! I did the Dracula room with four friends and we were doing backflips with the fun we were having. There were one or two parts that felt like it would have been breaking the rules, but even would have had enough clues to figure it out. The host was super friendly and quick to feel a part of the group with her sense of humour! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants their brain tickled.

I would like thank Kevin the games master, he was totally amazing. It was my first time to the lockdown so thanks from the brick team across the road.

We always have such a great time at Lockdown! This was probably our 4th time and we love exploring new rooms! Our game master Kevin was super fun and we always look forward to coming back!

The game master Kevin was fantastic and an excellent host/introduction to escape rooms.

A group of 4 of us went to the Tornado Shack and Agent 55 and had a blast! So much fun and would highly recommend KEVIN as your game master! He was fantastic at explaining the backstory and made the whole experience even more fun! Thanks Kevin and we will definitely be back!

Had a super fun time here, Kevin was a great game master and if you go I would 100% recommend you request him.

The Product (s) /Service: Came here for my birthday with my brother. We did the Dracula room and were very impressed with their room design. Non traditional integrated locks and puzzles were a true joy to work with and figure out. Room ambiance and flow was very well thought out and the game masters were very on point with hints/nudges.

There was one puzzle however, would have been nice if there was a integrated prompt to let players know to do it slowly in order to trigger the mechanism because it does not work unless the full cycle is run through and we spent quite a bit of time on it even though we had it figured out.

Overall, would definitely come again and check out the other rooms, loved the props and again the room design was fantastic.

The People: super friendly family owned business. Very welcoming environment full of laughter and fun.

Yesterday was my first time going to lockdown escape rooms & I had the best time with some friends trying to escape “the study 2”. Our game master Kevin was great, he really shows his passion for his job & helped us out when we needed it! Overall, it was a great experience & we are already planning our next trip to lockdown!

Really great escape room a few puzzles I didn't like but I addressed them with the management the rrooms tho are definitely well decorated!

So fun. Really have to learn to think a different way, to figure out clues. We'll be back. (My nine year old grandson is the brains of our twosome. Figured out far more than I did)

I love the different rooms and the different themes they have. They have a room for everyone from beginner to pro. The staff is super nice and I can totally recommend going there. Personally I've been there 5 times and it was so much fun!

It's more fun than you think it will be, but more of a one-time thing. Some people love lockdowns, et I see it as something you try. Everyone here was however very friendly and did make the experience pleasant.

The room we did (Total Confinement) had a number of broken puzzles, some of the puzzles hadn't been reset so the answers were completed, and the staff member we talked to completed some of the puzzles for us without being asked. We were only actually able to do just under half of the puzzles in the room!
When we talked to the owner she said she would organize for us to redo a different room, but has not responded to any emails since.
