We booked an airbnb when our previous accommodation was to remote with a storm coming in. We spent 2 days safe in Canmore in a beautiful lodge. Friendly helpful staff and great property. Thank you
I have a friend who owns a 3 bedroom condo at Lodges of Canmore and my family and friends have been staying at this lovely resort for over a decade now, at least 3 stays every year. While I can’t comment on the service as we don’t stay in the hotel rooms, I can say that the resort is fabulous. Each of the three buildings has its own outdoor hot tub and the main building also has an outdoor heated pool.
Located on Montane Road away from the congestion of downtown Canmore but still just a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to shopping / etc.
Underground heated parking is awesome and the buildings are very well maintained, clean, and great for families.
My favorite place to stay when caving at rats nest, skiing Banff, cliff diving at Johnson’s Canyon, or hiking Ha Ling.
It’s clean and has complete amenities but not a fan of stairs within the apartment. It has no AC so get hot in summer and noisy with train noise. Parking garage is secure but the space is tight and narrow. Location is great and the staff are friendly.
It's the same system as Korean condos, but the facilities are good and parking is good. The cooking facilities inside are perfect. It's a good idea to buy Canadian beef at a nearby supermarket and have it for dinner.
Built in 2003. Starting to show its age but mostly in good repair. One thing I noticed during a recent thunderstorm was the eaves leaked profusely. There is moss growing on some parts of the roof. Nice pool and hot tubs. The unit we had did not have A/C. Though the storm helped cool things off at least.
Very very thin floors! We had a noise complaint while there, and it was our kitchen chairs! We were playing cards and everytime we moved a chair they heard it below us! Pretty bad construction work! Also the hot tub in the main lodge is barely warm ️
The Airbnb that we stayed at was nicely decorated with a well supplied kitchen and comfortable furniture The hallways go on FOREVER though! Hot tub was enjoyable and underground parking available. Within easy walking distance to my favs, Grizzly Paw Brewery and Crown & Rose.
Very cool little resort in Canmore beautiful views and within walking distance of downtown Canmore. We rented an Airbnb it only came with one parking spot for ten people so that was a bit annoying. There is street parking but it can be tough to find.
Loved this place for our family. Clean with everything working properly. A nice pool area outside with a few hot tubs spread around the place. Underground parking was nice. A last minute deal made the price attractive in the shoulder season.
Our condo was a disaster with ripped and burn holed furniture, dirt on baseboards, non working electronics etc. I emailed the manager and included pictures and did not even receive a courtesy reply. I used to love going here and it's unfortunate that they have management that does not care.
The accommodations were very nice and spacious for our needs but what stands out the Most is your staff member, Norma. After we got home we realized we’d left behind a jacket. She tracked it down and went the extra mile to get it sent to me in Saskatchewan. She did me such a huge favour and trusted me when she could have brushed me off. She really is a one in a million. The Lodges at Canmore is lucky to have someone like her. Thanks again Norma. (There’s the jacket)
We stayed on a lodge in private ownership, with access to most of the services of the location and it was great. The lodge didn't have a/c but the air circulation system brought cool air in the mornings and it maintained well until the afternoons when we could then open the windows and use the fans for circulating it at night. The pool and the (three!) hot tubs were also a great option to relax after the day's adventures. We would love to stay there, when we come back again.
We stayed here in an Airbnb condo. It was really beautiful! It had all of the amenities we needed and then some. The entire building is quiet and clean. The staff are super friendly. Good location too. Great place to stay in town and then adventure out to the mountains or something. Love Canmore!
Such a great find! I booked a 2 bedroom suite to share with my parents and it was plenty big enough and very well equipped with all the kitchen essentials and laundry in-suite. Only a 20 minute drive from Banff it's perfect for a cheaper way to enjoy the Rockies. We also loved how close we were to everything in Canmore, making it easy to explore on foot. The pool was an added bonus, although the chemical levels seemed very high in the hot tub so we didn't stay in it for too long. Overall our stay was excellent value and I'll definitely book here for future trips.
We booked one apartments via AirBnb. A very helpful check-in. Access to apartment only if friont-desk has prior written email by apartment owner. Our apartment owner was very responsive. We reached at 11pm. She responded immediately to our message via AirBnb and completed necessary formalities. Convenience store within 9 minutes walking and larger stores within 15 minutes walking. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Enough storage to accommodate your clothes for 4-5 day stay and carry-on size bags. Cosy living room with Sofa for 2 people and dining table which can seat 4. Compact kitchen with Microwave, Oven, stove, coffee maker etc. Has a washer dryer as well. Looks fresh, new and modern. There is parking facility also. We were able to find place in the private covered parking. Else lots of parking along the street. A good experience
EDIT: Just another reason to never be returning; 3 out of 4 people recieved CHEMICAL BURNS from the large hot tub. Tub was not even up to temp (like a lukewarm bathtub at best) and by the end of staying in for our soak, we had blisters and rashes that felt like sunburn and vinegar in cuts. Went to talk to hotel management and the pool maitenance guy said that there was a massive chemical imbalance and it had to be shut down and drained. He then proceeded to tell us we had chemical burns and how to treat them. None of us were offered anything for compensation. What place doesnt regularly maintain and check their pools/hot tubs? Do NOT go here.
Definitely wont be back here. Happened to stay here because a friend had booked it. Dirty gross place to say the least. There was cat food (?) in the guest bathroom right in the middle of the floor so that means that the place definitely wasnt cleaned. We were promised a 2 bedroom 2 bath with queen beds in both rooms and only one room had it. The other room was 2 single beds. We tried pushing the 2 beds together but the one bed literally fell apart without even moving it. It was very obviously previously broken and nobody did anything about it. Overall a very icky vibe in this place. I didnt even want to walk around without shoes on
Pretty decent accommodations, with full kitchen, balcony and fire place. If you are going in the winter be careful in the outdoor pool. The steps ice up and staff do little to maintain them. My daughter slipped on the icy steps getting out of the pool and injured herself pretty bad.
Not the cleanest. There was 6 of us in the room and the couch bed didn't even have proper sheets and blankets. I've slept on way more comfortable couch beds than this. I'd suggest a foamy topper for it. The second bedroom had a stain on the bedding.
Really great place. Booked a two bedroom and ended up getting a three bedroom which worked out because we had another person decide to stay with us for a wedding we were attending. Place is super clean, every room came with a tv, and the kitchen was well equipped. Even the coffee maker had coffee and filters. Definitely recommend. Would be great for long stays as well.
Great family gathering place with swimming pool and hot tubs. Good service andand undegraound parking. Perfect location as you can walk to downtown using different path.
Really enjoyed our stay here! Jacquie at the front gave commendable customer service, thanks Jacquie! The suite was beautiful, cozy and the building was overall very quiet. Walking distance to cafes and in a great location.
Very dirty rooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while hair and stains everywhere the dishes and dishwasher was dirty and the sheets were old
I really like staying at the lodges. This condo was one of my least favorite. The beds were terrible. I think u could put more than 1 dishcloth and t towel. I really liked the deck. Appreciated the large fan in the closet. I wished they would have suggested that we book a time in the pool when we booked. The grandchildren were pretty sad.
Airbnb doesnt like reviews for this place itwould seem, so I thought I would leave one here. The only good thing I can say about this place is its location. Close to everything we needed. Either than that, it was horrible. Beds are not comfy at all, felt like sleeping on the mountain itself. Had no where near enough supplies in the suite to accommodate 4 people for 5 days. Calls to the front were ignored, had to look for the elevator as there were no signs there even was one, power in the suite went out and we had to figure it out for ourselves because again, no contact with the front. The list goes on. If you guys are looking for an Airbnb in this gorgeous town, look elsewhere. Not worth the money at all. Will not be coming back.
Fantastic! The lodges offer a close to town canmore experience. You can walk ten minutes to the main strip. They're are surrounding views around the entire complex and even a hottub with a perfect view of the three sisters. The Lodges has three hottubs and one heated pool. The building is kept up and the staff are super friendly.
The rooms were ok but dusty. Seems like the parking lot has not seen a wash for ages, super dusty. Finding parking spot was very challenging and we ended up parking on the streets.
Apart from it the lodge is close to all amenities.
Always liked going to the Lodges of Canmore, but when greeted at the front desk this time with my family, Monica was rude to us when we were politely trying to find out information about our suite. Furthermore, when I originally called weeks prior, I requested another room and was told it would be no problem, but unfortunately this wasn't so. I'm disappointed with the service, especially since I paid $600 for one night
Recently had my baby shower at the Lodges. Staff (Jacquie, Josh, Stephen and lovely lady from Czech) were super helpful. Pool and hot tub area is very clean, wifi is working or not but it isn't a big deal.
It was VERY expensive but we enjoyed our stay here. Our place had a nice kitchen and the bathrooms were clean and nice looking. The washer and dryer were great too. We loved how clean everything was and it has an amazing location. It made our time in Canada very enjoyable!
Will not be staying here again, the apartment was advertised as having air conditioning, but only one room in the apartment had an air conditioner. They also have a $100 cleaning fee, but ask the renter to wash the dishes and take out the garbage when they leave. The kitchen wreaked of grease, like some one dropped a deep fryer.
Beautiful location! Customer service was a bit tough to communicate with at times, but that does not take away from the location, cleanliness and atmosphere of the lodges! Definitely recommend!
The room itself was decent. The carpet was very dirty and stained and the oven did not work (stovetop did though). We had the windows opened the entire time but the inside was still quite warm (not sure if there is central AC). The location was nice as it was walkable to some small trails and into the city center.
Enjoyed our time here immensely. The room we had was clean and well stocked. The front desk staff were excellent - especially Monica and Jacqui. Always friendly and helpful. We'll come back again as soon as we can!
The facilty and grounds look lovely.however the inside is very dated, not very clean and could definately use alot of upgrades. Checked into our room dirty towels on closet floor, dirty dishes in cupboards also supposed to be smoke free environment and a half cigarette on the nightable in bedroom. Bar-bque on deck filthy and rooms very warm with no air conditioning. High priced accommodations for what you get. Would definitely check out other places to stay when in Canmore.
Got a noise complaint at 10: 05. Just five 40+ ladies excited to see each other. Ended up retreated to the farthest bedroom to hang out. Rentals next to owners never works out.
