Worst experience from a pharmacy I've ever had. About 3 months ago I dropped off a prescription told them my plan only covers generic drugs. When I went to pick up I was told there was no generic version of my medication wich was 100% a lie to sell me a more expensive medication. My benefits state if a drug doesn't have a generic alternative that it would be covered 80%. I belived what they were saying and payed and proceeded to fight with my benefits company to get it covered as they only covered less than 40%. After countless hours of back and forth I was denied coverage for the drug. Whent to my doctor for my next refill and asked if there actually was a generic version. He assured me there was and london drugs pharmacy had lied to me. I eneded up getting the generic version for my next refill at costco for a small fraction of what I paid at this pharmacy. I called and talked with the store manager who told me he would refund me the difference of the generic cost he just had to talk to the pharmacy manager. It's now been over 4 weeks and the pharmacy manager never even attempted to call me. I would suggest you stay away from this pharmacy and use a more honest pharmacy that doesn't overcharge there customers.

Have been going to this pharmacy since their old location across the street - yesterday I picked up a prescription that contains a severe allergen that could have killed me. I was planning on taking it last night. But didn’t due to the fact that I didn’t want the prescription to end funny. (Having one last pill/ dose on a day) so I waited until this morning, and thank God I have a bit of anxiety with medication, because when I read the medication papers. It was strange to me that it had a caution of allergens to non-medical ingredients, such as peanut oil. When I looked at the medication I found that it does contain peanut oil which I am severely too. Had I taken the medication last night without reading that pamphlet I would not be here today. Spoke with a woman who kept cutting me off and said I can bring in the medication to exchange for a generic brand that contains sunflower oil, but I will be waiting for Margaret (who my family has dealt with for YEARS and never has had an issue with, very lovely and amazing woman) until I go in again, and from now on, as this wasn’t just a small mistake, but a mistake that could have cost not one but two lives as I am 6 months pregnant. Before this experience I had never had anything negative to say - never questioned anything related to health as I thought things were in good hands. The woman I spoke with today was rude and brushed off the concern as though it was a small mistake.

Above and Beyond service from Darwish. You cannot put a price on great service and he delivered in every aspect. Darwish is a huge asset to the St. Albert London drugs location.
