Though the microwave oven I purchased recently was a good buy, my buying experience was largely affected by customer service. I guess they need more training helping customers find items they are looking for instead of sending the customer to another customer service rep. No smiles at all or a simple thank you from CSR when I was done with my purchase. Disappointing experience.

Bought a microwave with extended warranty (3 yrs with a promise It'll be replace with a new one if anything went wrong with it) and it went kaput in 16 months, took it back to the store and I was told they don't have the same model anymore I'll have to pay more for the exact same microwave (just a different model number) with same functions/wattage etc. Ended up paying way more for warranty+ replacement here than what I would have paid for a better brand at Costco. Most of the products are overpriced & rude staff (not all but most) never going back!

I went to pick up an online order first thing in the morning. Not a lot of customers, but it took the cashier to call to the back so many times without any acknowledgement of her call to get my package. Disappointed with this service, and I won't schedule an online pickup from this store again, if I can help it.

Usually awesome but today customer service said they called me a taxi and I waited up to 45 minutes in cold.then I recalled the taxi company and was told no call was made so they sent me a taxi and it came within 10 minutes.all in all I waited for at least an hour outside the London drugs in Rundle

I've been going to this London drugs location for over 20 years, and for the most part, most everyone is great, and friendly! But, my last visit was unpleasant. An employee named Helen was the worst example of customer service! Unfriendly, rude and just downright mean. I obviously disturbed whatever she was doing, when I said hello, after waiting a few minutes, and I clearly annoyed her, and she showed it! I should be calling customer service!

Some workers are very pleasant and kind, however other employees will see you as a bother. Will not answer questions, ignore you when you speak to them but will stare at you from afar.
So it's really the luck of the draw

My issue is more about lack of feeling safe vs quality of customer service at the London Town Square location. I have had very good experiences with asking staff for help locating something or returning items when needed. However this location is constantly leaving me feeling very unsafe as there are many druggies and homeless loitering outside the store and often inside as well. I was with my child when staff had to ask a man to leave as he was lighting up drugs in one one of the aisles. It is unfortunate that this is a CONSTANT problem, I like the location and as I said, staff have been helpful. But it seems the safety and shady people hanging around is getting worse and not better.

Be careful what food products you buy because a lot of items are near a lengthy expiration date and I've seen evidence of mice trying to eat the food. Hope they buck up and get new stock. I get the store gets ripped off a lot. The pharmacy Is amazing though and all staff are really nice

Came here yesterday the first minute they open during Boxing Day, was looking for a TV that was advertised but unfortunately they were sold out, was able to find one that was on sale & in stock. I wanna thank the staff members for being so helpful, friendly & just amazing during this busy shopping day.

Definitely recommend checking out this place!

I brought my kid there to take the passport photo. The lady did the job very fast, only to find out later of the day, from reading the passport photo requirement that the photo take was not good enough! The requirement clearly stated the person has to close the mouth in the photo, but my kid had his mouth wide open! You’d think the job done at the passport photo place would be good enough, but not that case here! I don’t know if the lady taken the photo didn’t know what she was doing or she just didn’t care to check! So I will have to find time to go back there to have it re-done. This is very frustrating and disappointing!

I had a very pleasant black Friday shopping experience with London Drugs. Employees was very attentive and answered all of my questions, a special thank to Ben and Richard for going above and beyond with helping my family finding the right gifts for the holiday season.

Once again fantastic experience at London drugs and expecting to be regular shopper in the future.

I bought a watch batteries in this store and they gave me this receipt and told me to return it anytime if it’s not the battery I want, then today I went in the store to replace it with the right item but they told me that they have zero return policy for batteries, they suppose to tell me this when I buy it. Never ever see them again. Unprofessional behaviour and employees out there.

I initially had some prolonged difficulties on a large purchase at the Airdrie, Alberta store due to two tech personalities who I understand have moved on. In the meantime the problem was addressed by Mr. Shimeck, Ms. Lana, and Mr. Dave who speedily resolved it to my complete satisfaction! The integrity and fine principals established by the founder - Mr. Bass and now continued by Mr. Louie are in the best of hands by the prompt actions of the fine first three personages noted in this review. BRAVO, and thank you all!

****Update, I called the store and I spoke with Jayme. She explained to me that the inventory issue, as her store has a contract with AHS for the goodnites. Meaning that the inventory number is basically a warehouse number, not what they physically have in the store. There was some coaching given to the staff to better communicate with customers because of this review. Thank-you Jayme for your time and explanation.

I was looking for goodnites XL pull-ups, as I knew at the time they were on sale, I checked every stores inventory. This post is not about the goodnites, rather the "shopping experience". The London Towne Square London Drugs online inventory indicated that they had 8, all other locations indicated they had 3 or less. I proceeded to go to the London Towne Square location, again they had 8. I arrived at the store, I checked the shelves, nothing, I looked above the shelves where they "store the extra merchandise", nothing. The shelf where the goodnites were located didn't even show that the XL were even sold. I looked around the area for more inventory, nothing, looked for a staff member, nothing for 5 min of me wondering the store to find someone. I found a staff member explained what I was looking for, couldn't find any one the floor or "storage shelf", online it indicated 8, "I wouldn't trust that" and walked away, now to his credit, he was helping 2 people. Now, I don't know how inventory is actually managed at this store, but I went online placed an order for 2 boxes of goodnites, inventory for this store went from 8 to 6 almost immediately. I received an email at 3am stating my package was ready for pickup at the store, I wanted to prove a point in my head at least, that the 2 boxes actually came from the store. When I went to pickup my packages, I really wanted to raise hell with the staff, but I chose not too, instead, I am hiding via the internet, but I do welcome a conversation with the store manager or owner, to better understand how inventory is managed at their store, rather than me having a prescribed intuition that the staff are not properly trained, or they are lazy or I was simply lied too.

Najia S from the tech department demonstrated excellent customer service, and a genuine care for her customers. On 17 August 2022, I came into the store an hour before close looking for a certain model of phone case, impossible to find. Najia stopped her closing cuties and immediately begun to help me find the case, and did not stop until I had my case. So glad to have encountered her.

I went to this location to get my films developed, the cashier told me it would take about 24hrs for me to receive them. I called 2 days later as I haven't received them in my email only to find out that the cashier didn't "mark" (?) my photos and so the person doing the pictures didn't see it and hasn't started it yet.

It happens and I understand, at least an apology from the person I talked to on the phone would be great and assurance of when I would get my photos.

William in the photo lab is INCREDIBLY RUDE. I was promised last Tuesday that I would receive my photos via email on Wednesday. I called last night to see what was going on and was told the email was inputted wrong. I gave the correct email over the phone last night and when I went into the photo lab this morning William said he sent the email to me and the reason I didn’t receive the email the first time was because there was a period in it. There is SUPPOSED to be a period. Then he said, if there was supposed to be a period then it was sent correctly the first time. But the other lady at the photo lab tried to explain to him that the period wasn’t the issue, it was the extra e that was typed incorrectly. He argued with her. She wrote down my new email, and he refused to take it to the back to resend the email because he “couldn’t read” her handwriting. So he took his own paper, came out a few mins later and said it was resent. I asked him if it was supposed to come immediately. “I don’t know, ” he replied in a condescending tone. There is nothing wrong with my email, as everyone else has sent me emails no problem and I have checked my spam and junk several times. I asked him if I could try another email, because I would like to receive the photos I paid for. “One more time! ” He said again in a very rushed, disrespectful tone. No, NOT one more time; when you’ve made a mistake and a customer has not received the service they have paid for, there is no limit on what you will do to help them. TERRIBLE customer service, the other lady was nice but William was absolutely awful. Even the customer next to me said he lacks customer service skills.

Went in yesterday to buy a plastation controller and some laundry detergent in my work clothes, upon entering the computer department one associate hopped on the phone and i overheard him saying they needed a customer followed. I then purchased my item feeling lousy and proceeded to my dryer sheets being followed by a man in a blue shirt. Thanks for making me feel so unwelcome. I do not think i will be back.

I have been going to this London drugs for as long as I can remember
The Pharmacy staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and professional

Just recently I had a amazing experience well shopping in the store I have a 4m old baby who needed a nap I was just picking up a few things and he started to cry
The staff offered to help me made me feel very welcomed even though I was walking through the store with a crying baby
I got extremely quick service

The cashier reassured me it's not a big deal babys cry and its not easy being a new mother
Tafter having this happen in a few other stores and people just Judge me for having a crying baby
It was a amazing being somewhere people didn't judge me and just helped me no questions asked

Clean store, first time being in one. They have everything from cheap to high end tech. They definitely need to advertise better. Kind of a one stop shop. Just picked up a Go Pro Max, Best Buy and visions didn’t even have these in stock.

I bought a Sigma lens from this store, the lens inside the box is not the right lens, the different mount. So I brought the lens back within an hour for a refund, but the camera store manager refused. He said I didn’t bring back the ‘right’ lens, but I didn’t get the ‘right’ lens from here in the first place. Then, I wanted to talk to the store manager, he came out said the same thing, I could not get a refund. They said they didn’t know why I bought the wrong lens, and they could not prove that the lens I bought was actually bought from the store. I couldn’t prove it either. So they give me the only option is to exchange it from another london drug store. But I had lost the confidence to buy lens from London drugs store already, so I refuse to exchange. In the end, they won’t refund, they forced me to exchange it from another store, so I had to.

Be aware, when you decide to buy expensive stuff in London drug, check the product carefully, the refund is very hard to get and they will blame you for not bring back the ‘right’ thing you just bought from this store.

I will never shop at this place as long as Ron is manager, he talks down to people and talks over people, I know it’s hard to find decent employees, but this guy is an absolute mess of a manager. He needs to shut up and listen to his customers instead of arguing, this has nothing to do with pricing or price matching, it’s him trying to belittle people

I have been a customer of this store for over 30 years. They have decent customer Service and good prices compared to other drug stores. I like the assortment of the London Drugs franchise. They have plenty of household, gardening, medical, camera and computer supplies. They also stock lots of Covid-19 products to keep you safe.

I used to just love this store. When I got my first apartment here 8 years ago I pretty much furnished it with items from this LD and Jysk in Marlborough. The last time I stopped in here I was walking around looking at the sales and grabbing some food items. I was looking for brackets to hang a small shelf. The one sales lady followed me like I was going to stuff my pockets full of merchandise and when she asked if I had found everything I needed I asked if she had any brackets. Where upon she led me to the section at the back of the store where they would be located. There weren't any hanging on the wall so I said okay and was looking at the other hardware there. She literally stood facing me and just shy of tapping her foot impatiently was waiting for me to move along. I paid for my items and left. On the prior visit I had spent upwards of $100 dollars. Now I won't be bothered to spend 20 cents in this store or any of them ever again.

I was told by an employee to buy it online because any Purchase over $75 was free shipping, Wrong due to the size I had to pay $60 for shipping. On the customer service Website top Banner it Flashes the message" Free Shipping over $75" please add an * conditions apply for full disclosure and Honesty. An email notice said Canada Post to deliver, Two days Later an email Notice said UPS to deliver, tracking showed it arrived and sat at UPS wharehouse for 5 days before being delivered wet and covered in black mold on the bottom of the Box. I am still waiting for a call back from a Customer Service Manager in Richmond B. C. To Online shop with London Drugs Never Again! 14 days from purchase date to Delivery, Customer Service Their is None!

A week ago today, my wife and I traveled west into the Sunridge Shopping district in search of a replacement television. Our old one had died the previous Saturday just before an Oilers game - tough it was. We had explored the London Drugs website and checked inventory levels. We met a gentleman working the technology end of things. When I stated which TV model we were interested in, he was able to head to the stock room and get us one. We engaged in a good conversation while the transaction components were completed. This fine gentleman (I wish I could remember his name), carried out the TV to our vehicle. All in all the service was excellent, cordial and comfortable. We are happy to say the TV has met our needs and our old DVDs are new again. Great website and accurate inventory were pluses as well. Thanks!

I’ve been using this London Drugs pharmacy for a couple years now and they never let me down. Typically always have items in stock and if not they get them in next day. I also love cruising the store for deals and mark downs, loads of selection.

This location just became my favourite today! I went in there looking for a product that is very hard to find and they were the only store that had it in stock. Even though the guy had no idea what I was talking about I found what I was looking for, yay! I then noticed that they have stepped up their game and are now carrying some awesome brands you can't find anywhere such as Mad Hippie (great Vit C serum) and Province Apothecary which makes some great serums and eczema balms. To me this is the smartest move if you want to compete with Shoppers and Sephora because neither of those stores carry these brands which both have great reputations and quality products. Not sure if any other locations have these brands but I'm very excited about it!

One of the worst customer service experience today.
I have bought 5 instant pot online (4 for my wife’s colleague’s because on sale) when we reached to pick up at store, Mr Max Mohamed treat us as we have committed a crime as we manage to order five.your system has flaw sir that let us order. I humbly request management please provide some customer service training to your employee’s, when we come to store we expect some respect as you do from your customers.

I have not seen customer service this bad, ever! I went Black Friday shopping with my fiancé, and we looked around for a good 15 mins and could not find a soul in sight to help us, so we had to climb up the ladder ourselves to grab the product we wanted. There was the same product on sale, but instead of telling us why there was a difference in price the supervisor decided to yell at us as if we were illiterates who didn’t understand English (I am born and raised in Canada). When we got upset at his customer service, he proceeded to kick us out of the store. This is why I would rather purchase at the bay, this would have never occurred there.

Hands down the best price match policy and best customer service. Employees are always ready to help with any questions. They also have the best return policy. They'll price match with anyone and everyone, which is great.

The London drugs supposed Apple experts took over an hour just to update my phone and another half hour to tell me something I already knew stay away from there supposed authorized dealer and tech-support save yourself some time and go to the Apple Store

I find myself in the position of reevaluating my relationship with this Drug Store which in the past was very good.

They no longer seem to be able to adequately predict inventory levels enough to provide me with my usual 90 day $350.00 supply of one-a-day tablets that I am on permanently, and that I have bought there for nearly 20 years without asking me to come back for half of it. They have let me down twice now causing me to suffer significant inconvenience.

Because of this, there is a fairly good chance they will lose all of my future business as I seek a supplier that I can rely upon.

I went there to return the camera microphone I bought couple days ago and they rudely told me they are not going to refund me if I don't give them my address and personal information. They refused to refund me! This is against law! As I was in a hurry I said OK and gave them incomplete and inaccurate info. Don't buy from them.

First Visit:
I went there to have my photo taken.they said their camera is broken and won't be fixed for several days.

Very helpful staff in the photo lab. I was hesitant in a particular image not being good enough for a customized order but when I came in they walked me through it and told me a way that I can improve the picture to get the desired look I was expecting. Super pleased with the service.

I was earlier very disappointed, while refusal from electronic product exchange, bought a couple days ago, which is actually found physically damage in the box. The department manager or supervisor should learn and resolve a matter in more professional way. I felt his behaviour so rude and unprofessional. I think sometimes there is a matter of trust beside a money.
I would really appreciate a store manager teena to resolve this matter in professional way and being trust on customer are shopping there 15 plus years.

I go to the pharmacy at this location all the time and find them extremely helpful & pleasant. However, did not get the same impression when using their photo department. Woman who served me was almost rude and made me regret having all my photos processed there. If I was just reviewing the pharmacy I would have given it 5 stars.

I was suprised to have received awesome service at 9: 45pm when the store closes at 10: 00pm on a Monday night. Impressions mean a lot, and I will continue to trust London Drug's Electronics Department again because of my experience.

In other stores, employees look forward to rushing the last customers out and decide to give them partial help. However I was treated differently. I came into the store looking for a Bluetooth to 3.5mm Aux receiver. (Not a common item). Not only did I get the item, but the lady working at the electronics department was ultra kind and happy to help.

I was at Wal-Mart 30 minutes before, unhappy with the fact that they wouldn't price match online competitors. They wanted $60 for their item. I bought it from the electronics department desperately, and returned it at the front cashier within 15 minutes because I found a $15 difference online (shipping included) just before I walked out of the store. And the manager refused to price match! So I returned the item because I was unsatisfied and not willing to deal with the crazy lines in the future (luckily it was quiet for once lol).

I decided to check one more business and as a result, I saved $25 by visiting London Drugs! When I initially asked about the item, she knew what I was talking about and checked her inventory, just to inform me that they didn't have the version I saw on my phone. She indicated that she has sold them before. She continued to have a nice conversation and gave me advice about using their pickup in store option online. I wish she had a way to search for alternate brands for an item that serves the same purpose with the same functionality in store!

So I was ready to walk out and noticed that I had 15 minutes before the shop closed. So, I kept on looking at the car accessories and she decided to come out of her little office counter space and help.

I found an alternate branded receiver hanging on the display before she did and it was the last one! Now imagine the reaction a customer has when the employee tells you that they don't have an item. Yet I as a customer pointed it out. She pulled a favour since she had given up! Something that I did not expect. I told her about the variance in price for such an item from my Wal-Mart experience during our conversation and she paid attention.

She restarted her register instead of making me walk to another cashier and rang the item up right away. As a bonus! She decided to offer a discount inspite the fact that the item was just cheaper than Wal-Mart already. She checked her system and was able to beat the online price too!

Genuine courtesy and empathy were displayed during my experience. The lady at electronics owned up to my expectations and I genuinely appreciate it.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the computer department at this London drugs. After waiting 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment—during which time I was not acknowledged in any by the staff at the department— I was told that a diagnostic would need to be completed on my phone.

While I understand that running a diagnostic may be policy, I am simply not comfortable giving my unlocked phone to a “authorized service provider “– when extremely sensitive information (i.e. All of my login information) is on my phone. The man at the front counter (bald) made absolutely no attempt to assuage my concerns. Instead, he merely said it was necessary, and that “Apple” would do the same thing.

Additionally, I am certain—absolutely certain—that the issue is with the hardware of the phone. It is an issue with the top speaker driver.

I walked out: I cannot afford to trust my phone with anyone Who demonstrates the slightest sign of being untrustworthy— which is the overall vibe I got. It also doesn’t help that this authorized service provider is located in northeast Calgary.

In the future, I’ll be taking my iPhone to an actual Apple Store not a “authorized” service provider.

Their photolabh is pathetic. No customer service. Everybody at photolab is rude with no customer service. No smiles and arrogant attitude. They don't even refund if your photo gets refused and ask for old photos back to take new photos. My worst experience. Not going back there.

Incompetent. Don't go here for photos. I brought the specs printed out and the dude totally ignored what I was asking for and did his own thing. Had to go to Walmart where they did the job properly and with care. If you need passport or citizenship photos, go to Walmart.
