This is a great store with a huge selection of products. They have an amazing electronics department with televisions, computers and cameras. They also have a good selection of small appliances and even some food. There is also plenty of free parking.

The photo lab is super slow compared to other stores - the 130th location develops disposable cameras in a few hours while this location takes days.

First off, that Canadian Family businesses are important. London Drugs has been taking care of our families and community wellness since 1945! H. Y. Louie took over the Vancouver location, in 1976. Tong Louie was friends with my Grandfather in the 80’s, when he was their accountant! I worked at this location back in 1998. It was fantastic for the training I received, the loyal customer’s still returning, in fact, to some of THE SAME employees, over 30 years!
I’m a HUGE advocate for London Drugs. I even returned working at a different location, before I had to go off work, very sadly. They have been above and beyond, taking care of myself, my family and friends, for decades. I can’t wait to get better and get back to working, contributing, supporting and SHOPPING ️

I purchased a couple items that were on sale. The clerk charged me $26 more than the total cost of the items I purchased, which is a huge overcharge. It was partly my fault because I didn't realize I had been overcharged straight away, but I hope this never occurs again. I believe we might avoid incidents like these if staff members were better informed.

I've been shopping here, or other locations for decades now. I do like the electronic section, and walking through the aisles you can find some different and cool stuff which is a nice surprise. It's much better here to find whatever it is you're looking for than that other place across the parking lot that starts with a W.

I have used this location several times over the years. I was able to get what I needed without any issues and left in a timely manner. I do find this store, like most others, to be kind of crowded and messy. Overall as long as I can get what I need without too much trouble then I’m happy. Hoping to see some more great deals especially on those big ceramic pots next year for gardening season

Such a bad experience at the photo lab today. Spoke to Catherine N and the whole time she seemed annoyed and miserable to be there answering my questions. I didn't even finish what I went there for in the first place. She did do a great job making me feel unwelcome and a nuisance to her.

What DON’T they have? Best product distribution I’ve ever seen. Highlights on variety in soaps and lotions, hair care and oral health. I love this London drugs.

I always love coming to London Drugs, I always find what I am looking for at a very reasonable price. It is a great place to go around Christmas to find my German treats such as marzipan.
This store is always clean and well stocked. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I always leave with a smile.

Sept 12 at 8: 30pm I came in the store looking to purchase 3x products from Laroche Posay to add to my skin care routine. And the old lady working at the cosmetic area was literally hovering over me like I’m about to steal something. She asked me 3 times if I needed assistance with something and I denied the first time because I knew what I was getting. She was following me and was looking at me the whole time and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I used to like coming to this store but now I do not recommend because of this bad service. Just because I wasn’t dressed up nice and had a full face of make up on doesn’t mean I’m stealing. So thanks a lot

The store would not allow me to use my birthday $5 voucher. This is what drew me into the store today. I showed them my email from London Drugs and had clicked activate my birthday offer. I left, leaving the items on the counter.

Went in for a specific printer, the man in the electronic department I talked to was very friendly and knowledgable. He made sure I knew that I would need more ink and told me about what some other customers had given feedback about. Made my day how nice and helpful he was

I quite like London Drugs. They are Canadian-owned, and they take care to try to offer both value and selection in a very competitive market. They have LD Extras which gives you access to additional savings, even if you only shop there once a year. Staff are friendly and the store is well stocked. Never had a bad experience here.

I had bought a mini fridge that was unfortunately damaged when I unpacked at home. The store manager Pat went above and beyond getting it replaced ASAP ordering in for me, and was a pleasure to deal with. Great customer service.

Location is nice enough, don't generally go to London drugs due to the lack of locations around the city. Crazy selection of everything inside and the staff seemed nice enough.

Pre-ordered an item online and was not impressed with the service and the lack of information provided by the company. Will not likely return again or buy anything online through them.

I've had all my film developed here, except the last 2 rolls where their machine was down for a missing part. Whichever other location did the developing for them really did it a lot worse than here, half the strips had a really strong curl to them and a lot of them had newton rings show up cause of it.

Prices aren’t *always* the best, but I spoke with three different employees - and they all used gender neutral pronouns while speaking with me - they noticed my they/them pin or were trained to do this with everyone. Regardless, it was a very affirming shopping experience!

Have used the Photo Lab services in the past with little to no issues, but this last experience was just ridiculous. Brought my order number in to pick up my order, and the gentleman behind the counter spent 10 minutes trying to locate my order. After no luck, he asked for assistance from another department. The two of them together spent another 10 minutes searching for my order with no luck. They then paged a third employee who was on break to come up and help search. After a grand total of 25 minutes of waiting, the three of them had managed to locate my order (right on top of the back counter the whole time) and said "have a nice night" upon handing it to me. Not impressed with the lack of organization or apology. Will likely be taking my business elsewhere next time.

Oh my Lordy! Judy B. In the photo centre was one of the most unnecessarily rude human beings I’ve ever encountered. Sorry that I’m not an “expert” at this like she so pointed out…

I am in literal physical pain after my experience with Judy. As a result of my work, I have all but lost my voice. When I tried to use a text-to-speech app to express to her what I was looking for, she basically made fun of me and made me speak putting me in extreme physical pain for lord knows how long.

After trying to get a few questions answered, Judy very rudely told me that they were one of the only locations in the city to develop photos so if I wanted my photos developed I would have to stand there and take her attitude. SO SO unnecessarily mean and hurtful, not to mention EXTREMELY unprofessional! Trust me Judy I’m sure I can find at least one other place in Calgary to develop photos next time, maybe one that won’t berate me as I do it…

I can’t emphasize enough how deeply anxious I am to have left my precious photos in this woman’s hands! Praying that my property isn’t damaged out of vengeance by Judy.

I won't shop here again. I phoned ahead because I wanted to be courteous but unfortunately the woman I spoke to in Customer service at 1: 00pm told me she couldn't help me. The man who was in charge of the order spoke abruptly and hung up mid- sentence. Then they couldn't find one of my orders that took a week to get which they phone me and told me it was there and they still couldn't find it. I waited over 20 minutes for my curbside order!

Went into this store to browse the computers and televisions on display and noticed they had a tech repair station. Spoke to a young lady named Hannah and she offered to take a look at a new printer I had bought online and couldn’t get it to work. We arranged for me bring it in the next day and Hannah had a look at it and had it up and working within a short period of time. Fabulous work and very reasonable price. Bravo! I will return to this store because of this interaction.

Worst computer service ever. I paid to get my laptop fixed and they said they did, yet here i am with it not working. This is after i took it back and showed how not fixed it was. Then he said it was fixed. And certainly it was not. The staff here refuse to admit they cant fix it, and also refuse to replace the part. Also they wont refund me for the service fee. Grotesque.

Manager (taller, bigger lady with greyish hair, has a distinct walk) has one of the worst customer service attitudes I’ve ever seen. She was incredibly rude. I hope head office sends a secret shopper to audit this store.

They didn’t have any testers for the makeup section and I politely asked the associate if they could make a tester. She asked her manager while I was there and she was making the biggest scene how they cannot have testers. So I asked, “well what if I purchase the product now and try it, and if I don’t like it, I could just return it? ” And she shrugged her shoulders with a scornful stare.

So number 1) From a business operations stand point, it makes sense to make testers (and tuck them away to prevent shoplifting) and if customers want to test, then can test it and that way it limit the refunds and thus improves store performance. But this lady would rather just have a refund hit her store

Number 2) Regardless of point one, she had a horrible attitude. This is the primary reason for the review. No professionalism or sense of self awareness of how incredibly rude she was coming across as she was making disgusting faces for a customer asking about testers. I literally had anxiety when she was around because I thought she was going to lose her temper.

Number 3) initially the employee (who was polite and nice) said I can’t do any returns with COVID. First rule in customer service is not to lie about a policy - I’ve shopped at London Drugs before, and they still allow returns.

I hope this review serves as a lesson to the manager to be more mindful. They could’ve just been having a bad day but that is no excuse to be rude to customers. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else

Where is my view? Just posted last night. Can not see it now. This store has the worst customer service. I had a headphone Koss NR 29 in last Christmas. Now a small fastener part is broken and the store didn't even bother to have a look at it. I bought a jacket year ago and had a zipper problem, the clothing store took it in and fixed it quickly. Comparing with these stores, London Drugs really sucks. I might lose $50 this time, but I never buy anything from this store and won't suffer any more.

After a poor customer service incident at this location, my concerns were delivered to the management team, and were dealt with swiftly and amicably - responding on a Sunday evening no less.

The response from the management team demonstrated that Customer Service remains a priority, acting accordingly to resolve my concerns, and garnering a nearly perfect review.

Very friendly. They went out if their way to help me find what I needed, the offered to bring it in again or send me to the next nearest London Drug where I could get more if needed. Also 4 handicap places very near the doors, so as not to walk on snow and ice with severe arthritic joints.

If possible I would give zero stars. I received the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered a magic mug from the photo department on Nov. 29, after picking it up on Nov. 30 and bringing it home I found out the image was printed on the wrong side. I called the store within an hour of leaving, they reluctantly said they would remake it for me. I clarified with the person on the phone multiple times to ensure the second mug would be what I wanted. When I got home with the second mug on Dec. 4 I poured hot water into it to find out it was again printed on the wrong side. By this point I was already frustrated, my dad called the store immediately (Dec. 4) and spoke to Daryl, the photo department manager. He said they were currently out of magic mugs but were getting another shipment the next day, Dec. 5. He said he would make it the first one they made when the shipment came in, after my dad demanded they do more to fix this mess he said he would give us another mug free of charge. We were told there would be communication between the manager and the other staff but there was not.after receiving an email my order was ready to pick up I went on Dec. 7 to pick these mugs up, the one mug was ready, the other they could not find. I could not believe it, already after management was involved they messed up again. The employee I was talking with was going to charge me for the mug, I told her Daryl and Judy knew about the situation. Judy was the lady my dad brought the second image to the day after talking to Daryl on the phone. She said Judy was away for the day and Daryl didn't know about it as she had just talked to him when she was trying to locate the mug they lost. After I told her to go speak with Daryl again she handed me the mug without charging me for it. It was annoying for me to have to keep explaining the situation to every employee when Daryl said they would be aware. After that was dealt with Daryl said he would remake it right away but that it would take at least 30mins. After 45 mins I went back to ask if it was ready to which I found out that they hadn't been making it. Daryl supposedly thought the employee I was talking with found it so then I had to wait yet again for them to make it. I understand mistakes happen but usually not 3 times in a row. After the 4th mug was made all Daryl had was excuses for everything that happened. For a mug that was suppose to take 24 hours to make it took over a week for them to get the order right, all while I had to travel to the store multiple times on my own expense. Pretty pathetic that they messed up 5 times on the same order. And after all the messing up they did I feel I should have been offered more compensation, such as a refund, but I wasn't gunna continue to argue with them, I just wanted to get the hell out of the store. I'm posting this as I don't want anyone else to experience what I did. I recommend saving yourself the time and headache and shoping at a different store.

I went in to purchase a case and screen protector for my phone. Within two minutes of being in the phone department, Amy T came up and asked me how she could help. I asked about screen protectors and if they applied them. She explained that they have a machine that cuts them and they apply them. She continued to tell me about all the cool features the screen protector has and how good it is compared to the tempered glass (she was right!). While dealing with my phone, she was helping another employee with a difficult customer. She not only helped me but assisted the other employee with the other customer, who left happy. Fast and efficient service at a really good price (I got a great case and the screen protector for $60). This London Drugs really benefits from employees like Amy T!

Phoned ahead to see if the pharmacy had any LD cough syrup with codeine. Im sick, so i dont want to spend a bunch of time out and about. They said yes, so I went up there. At the counter, the pharmacist says 'we don't stock it here, try 130th Ave. ' When I complained that I had called ahead to prevent this very situation, there was a bunch of denials and passing the buck. "There's only us three and we wouldn't have told you we had it". I called the number while standing there and the phone rang to the pharmacy. I guess one of you DID tell me you had it. WHY DOES LONDON DRUGS NOT STOCK A LONDON DRUGS BRAND ITEM? Lunacy!

Generally a very friendly store, and very efficient.
But, honestly had the best experience ever with Helen in cosmetics, she went over and beyond the call of duty in helping me track down a product which is virtually impossible to find. She took my #, researched it for me, and arranged to have it brought in from another store that carried. No one else anywhere has done that. It’s a quick “oh, we must be out, sorry” and off they go! Not Helen!
So rare to find genuine customer service like that these days!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR APPLE CARE. They charge you labour and diagnostic fees even after I made a reservation through calling apple. Apple said they do not charge for diagnostic and labour and i already knew the problem beforehand. I go pick up my laptop and get hit with a 50$ labour and diagnostic fee! If i had known beforehand i would had bought a screwdriver and did it myself! Do not bring apple products here for repairs. Take it to a real apple store for free!

Went in with a simple question yesterday and was literally talked out of the store by the associate in the computer department. He never stopped talking (about himself too) long enough to answer my questions or even inquire why I was there. One of the most annoying things about shopping for a new computer is the difficulty in understanding all the different options. I would just like someone to be able to help me without telling me all about their personal problems, or speaking in another language. Probably won't be returning.

I live across the way from this store and have relied on this location for last minute shopping and emergency pharmaceutical purchases. Staff are generally friendly. Downside: Convenience will set your wallet back. Also, I tend to avoid their busy hours 4pm-7pm (long line ups and wait times). Upside: I am almost always greeted by staff in the cosmetic section when I enter and they offer a wide range of items.

I was signed up for their membership/rewards, I was supposed to be earning pts and was told it could send me info on deals specifically about baby care products, but that didnt seem to work. Not so sure abt that part. But I do like this place because they seem to always have great deals going on especially on baby stuff!

After 1 full month no one has yet called me!

I wanted to purchase a fan, dish set and vitamins from London Drugs. The Interac machine broke. I fixed it! Then the till wouldn’t work. The lady helping me tried to get “Michael” to help. He couldn’t be bothered. Then I asked him to help and he said to move everything to another till. My purchase was very heavy, and I asked him for help. He looked at me in a very condescending way and said, you want me to help? He didn’t bother. Finally, I left my purchase there and walked out. Michael was very rude and apathetic! I left my card with Michael and asked him to have a manager call me. No returned call.
I later got what I needed at Home Hardware. They were incredible! They helped me to my car, opened doors, smiled, said thanks. All the things you wouldn’t expect from London Drugs.

The folks at the tech store are very nice to deal with. Have been there a few times and they always do their best to fix your computer-related stuff.
