Longview Jerky Shop

My husband and I finally went and tried the jerky. We got teriyaki & maple bacon. The teriyaki was SO dry & the flavour was not good, it almost turned to dust while eating it. The maple bacon wasn’t dry & the flavour was just ok. Atmosphere was cool though. I guess I just had high hopes maybe?

I bought several flavors of jerky including vension, buffalo, regular honey garlic jerky and a rib eye steak. Only the honey garlic jerky was decent, the others were very disappointing. All the flavors tasted very similar. For how much they were selling the jerky, I wouldn't recommend this unless you were very curious and wanted to try it. In particular the buffalo sticks were very gamey and not to anyone's taste. My partner's mom took one bite and then tossed it to the dog to eat.

Straight to the point. The jerky is terrible. Bland, chalky and very dissapointing for the price. Do not waste your money even if you are curious.
If you ever get to West Kelowna try Pioneer Meats. These guys are the pioneers of jerky.

I enjoyed the hot jerky, and it was tasty really tasty. I will say stay away from the honey garlic. But its hot jerky i tried was worth it. Judging by the comments they could use some customer service help.if i see it in stores that would be the go to jerky for me.

Had honey garlic and sweet and spicy. Couldn't tell one from the other. Both were disappointing. Won't be taking the time to stop there again.

I spent 15$ on single strips because I thought they'd be great for lunches and I ended up saying screw it half way through the treck home and opened a few of them to share with family sense the place was so hyped. I was disappointed to find the BBQ, teriyaki and orange ginger all tasted completely identical.and I'm someone who has a strong sense of taste! Sadly everyone in the car agreed. Dont get me wrong, the jerky was fresher than store stuff and not chemically but it all simply tasted of cracked pepper.i would have been better off getting a single large pack for what I paid to try different flavors.rather disappointed actually, feels like false advertising and a rip off for what I paid: (

Always love coming here after a long day in the mountains. Super grateful that they're open until eight! This time we bought steaks, which were wonderful. Photos included of when we cooked them upon returning to Calgary. Thanks folks, delicious food as always!

Came in from BC just to make it here to get some product. We still had 3 minutes to spare. The doors were already locked and the young lady and young gentleman inside only said “ya sorry” I said but we still have 3 minutes. She shrugged her shoulders and turned away. We even had a bunch of things we were ready to get that only would have taken them 2 minutes with still a minute to spare. This is NOT good customer service and I will tell the rest of our convoy coming tomorrow to not bother stopping here as well. There are far more businesses that would have taken the 3 minutes and our money.

The jerky here is excellent and they have a wide selection of jerky for purchase. There are also some more unique jerky to try, including wild boar. Certainly worth a stop when you are in Longview!

Beef Jerky taste great! The owners are friendly and let us taste a few flavors. Love pepper one, also something called round neck. Best souvenir from AB

Beautiful shop and friendly service, but the jerky is not worth the 22$ per bag! I purchased honey garlic and it was extremely dry and chalky and tasted nothing like honey garlic. Some pieces were inedible. Quality and care for the product was definitely not there. Too bad…

Delicious Jerky. Best you can buy in Canada.much better than Jack Links or McSweeny's. I was at this shop 2 years ago & was amazed at the variety & impressed with the quality of their jerky. Just ordered online & had it at my doorstep just under a week from AB to ON. Will definitely buy again. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

I bought some in store and fell in love, however I than placed an online order and 37 of my large bags are so hard and dried out they are completely inedible.

Incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed. This is definitely not quality product for the price I paid and is nothing like the jerky I have had before from this store.
