Terrible. Package was delayed due to damage but claimed that the contents were ok and just needed to be repackaged. Upon receipt, I’ll let the image speak for itself.

Just terrible all around. Spent an hour on hold Friday (They never picked up, waited until close), another 30 minutes today. Explained to the lady on the phone we didn't have waybills, and she said the driver would bring some. Driver arrives at 3pm, drops off waybills, and doesn't pick up our order for our customer, saying he wouldn't wait for a waybill to be filled out in 3 minutes so our customer could have his parts loaded today. Just terrible service all around, from waiting hours to talk to someone to simply shipping with them. I mean the guy showed up here, he couldn't wait 3 minutes? Next time a customer asks us to ship Loomis, not happening. I'll spare them the wasted time. We've used anyone BUT Loomis in the past for this very reason. Thank God this company is simply an option around here because we would never use them by choice. Now, none of our customers will either.

If I could leave 0 stars for Canpar I would. Their customer service is abysmal. They delivered 8/9 boxes from our furniture order. Not only was the order delivered late, they lost a box and then proceeded to tell me tough, you'll have to wait 10-12 days for us to figure out where it is or make the shipper send you a new one. I was hung up on NOT once BUT TWICE when I asked basic questions about their processes. Their customer service agents are rude and poorly trained.

Well the comment is about the depot NOT the drivers. We had a package coming from a plumbing package in the east. They held it at their SMART? Pick up and did not give us any option for delivery. Our home is 45 minutes one way away from the pick up. Everyone delivers to our home. Loomis Express is the worst service we have ever had in our lives.

Worst possible company.
Second time I had something delivered from this company. Both times they couldn’t find my house.
I live in Calgary on a street with a number clearly marked on my house.
Don’t know how don’t know why?
Free shipping was included in the price of the product. (no wonder) must be the lowest bidder.
I would never recommend this company. Must really be mismanaged.

Driver came to my home. Stuck failed attempt sticker and left. It was speaker boxes so heavy. I'm guessing he didn't want to carry it

Terrible service and staff is rude and unhelpful. Packages aren’t express as advertised, and they schedule delivery just to push your delivery days. And blame it on work load. Then hang up on you, when you want to pick it up from the warehouse.

Contrary to most reviews, I had a slightly easy experience. I missed the driver twice while I was at work, thats on me. I got worried by the terrible reviews and poorly designed website. I requested emailing me a pickup location to get my parcel, they ACTUALLY called me the next business day, after the weekend, to give me the address. I was flabbergasted by such personal customer service, I'm used to reply bots. So I went to the address and showed them my parcel slip and tracking number and my ID, I was out within 2 minutes. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

Parcel say delivered and signed by someone that is not me they never called and never buzzed to get into my building so they could not have delivered it.this is the worst company by far.and never available by phone dont reply to emails.i am not RAJESH

Trash company. Refused to deliver my package to my apartment. Insisted that they needed a buzzer code in order to deliver it because it needed a signature. My building is old and doesn't have a buzzer system. I gave them my phone number to call instead, they said they won't call upon arrival. Told them they could deliver it to my moms house in the same town instead. They delivered it, left it on the porch stating no signature required. F these guys, avoid using their shipping company at all costs.

What a strange company. I got an email telling me that my delivery would take place today. Got a confirmation email that the delivery would take place today. Tracking number showed the delivery out with the courier. Got a 3rd email saying they couldn't find the address. This is a monthly delivery so not sure what the problem was. Tried the customer service number and it kept disconnecting. Talked to a bot, then asked for a person who came online. She lied and said it was being held and had just arrived today. When I asked when it would be delivered, she said in a couple of days. So these people are liars as well as being incompetent. I am going to ask my head office to find another delivery company.

This place is the worst. Package delivery was attempted when no one was home so they took it to a distribution centre somewhere. The attempted delivery slip has instructions for their useless website, as well as a phone number that is an infinite hold. Does anyone even work in the call centre?

Canpars tracker said my order was out for delivery today. Canpars customer service agent confirmed it would be delivered today. It was not delivered. Canpar is a horrible company and no one should do business with them.

Not being delivered a package but was just told off by a driver delivering packages to a home who parked in the middle of the road blocking traffic while he brought them to the door. When I made him aware of this he told me to mind my own business, said other rude words, and continued on.

Like other reviewers have said - Canpar drives past your address and claims "Nobody was home".

We've had a package they "attempted" to deliver 3 times now and somebody has been home each time.

Customer support is absolutely useless - they can offer no explanation as to why their drivers refuse to do their jobs, and for some reason are unable to simply hold the package at a pickup location for us so we can just go get it ourselves.

I find it ridiculous that a delivery company refuses to deliver packages. Every time I order from someone who uses them, I end up having to pick it up, whether I am at home or not. The delivery people don’t even bother trying.

We own a business and ordered stuff to be delivered to us. However, this delivery company would only deliver before we opened. Only delivery company we have ever dealt with that doesn’t try to go between hours businesses are open. Definitely will not order again if canpar is the delivery option.

OMG! The most horrible ship company I experienced. The driver doesn't call and doesn't knock the door and no notes left for me. Just go and says I'm not home! I chat with Customer service Jamelia, very bad service. Not active, no solutions provided. I did not competed my conversation she just ended chat. I want report the driver and CS.

Canpar was unable to deliver my package due to an incorrect address (my fault). When I realized what the problem was I called the 800 number for customer service. After a few minutes wait, Ed answered. He fixed the address in their system and offered to have it delivered the following day. This wasn't convenient for me so he made arrangements with the Calgary Depot for me to pick it up. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and courteous. Thank you!

This service provider is utterly useless. After attempting to deliver two packages of mine to a GROCERY STORE in a community near me, they manages to deliver ONE of the packages to me a day later, but left the other at the depot because they ‘couldn’t locate my address. ’ Ignore the fact that they had just been to my house and delivered the first package, and that both packages were together the day before, somehow they couldn’t handle delivering the second. I have been on the phone with customer service half a dozen times and every time they seemed helpful and responsive, but everyone of them told me they would call me with and update and to date I have not received a single phone call. I had to get the vendor that hired Canpar involved who is also utterly perplexed at the situation. My package was supposed to be here today but, yet again, it isn’t. I was supposed to receive a phone call today with an update but, yet again, I haven’t. I will have to call again tomorrow to be told that it will be delivered later in the day, but yet again again it won’t be. My small business is losing money every day that my package is delayed and I have no idea how to resolve this. Do not trust this company; you would be better off hiring a carrier pigeon.

I had to go pick up an oversized item because I'm "out of their boundaries" - I am literally 5 minutes from Calgary and Airdrie limits. If they don't deliver to an area they should not be accepting Amazon Prime deliveries!

The delivery was missed twice because a signature was "required" and couldn't be left at my door, but after I spent my own time and gas driving to pick up the package I was never asked for a signature

Despite being literally around the corner from this place, my package has been "non-attempt delivery" 2 days in a row. I have been notified my package is on the truck at 8: 57am and not a single attempt to deliver. Tried calling numerous times, only to be met with a voicemail that isn't set up. Live chat is unreliable, waiting for almost an hour before giving up. Finally got through to this location, a man answered then hung up on me. It now goes stright to previously not set-up voicemail. What kind of company is this?

Needless to say, my heart SANK once I realized my very pricey package was with either of these companies. Canpar is notorious for being a nightmare to deal with, and its sister company Loomis is just kinda mediocre (at least in the GP area). Reviews are quite awful on both sides.

But, you know what? I think this is just one of those things that is just going to depend on where you're located and the employee you get.

I got lucky with a great courier. He was quick, efficient, came to the door, and found my house in a rural area.

I'm not sure how accurate the tracking was. Either they picked up my item and got it to me in 25 hours-which would be totally impressive-or it was 6 days late updating. (Granted, it was Easter weekend.) Either way, more detailed tracking would be a plus.

So, I'm going to go with 5 stars for my experience. Please keep it up!

Canpar is literally the worst courier, it’s been consistently frustrating. With my most recent experience I was home when they “attempted” to deliver, they said they didn’t have my buzzer or phone number and then wouldn’t attempt to deliver again without charging me. They only gave a 5 day pick up window. Terrible customer service, I would never willingly use Canpar.

They delivered a large picture and frame completely broken, Shattered glass, the picture itself was scratched beyond repair. The driver knew it was broken (Canpar) As he rang door bell and Scurried away like a Guilty little Mouse. They than were to pick up picture on Thursday before Easter. We followed their instructions to pack and address this item for return. They never Showed up.

At first, I was a little bit apprehensive about shipping something with Loomis/Canpar after reading all of the bad reviews on here. However, I'm pleased to inform everyone that I had a very smooth and pain-less transaction with the team just now.

I had to ship an oversized item to Quebec and the staff there were more than accommodating and helpful; not to mention i got the cheapest rate out of the other big 3 shipping providers. Would definitely come back again!

So, I was home all day for day of delivery.

I was juggling school and last minute laundry. I was running back and forth between 3 floors of my building between 9am and 1pm.

In this time, a Caspar driver somehow got into my apartment building without buzzing mwhich is connected to my roommates phone since I'm usually working the medical hours. They didn't even come to my door nor bring the two items inside. Wanna know how I know? I was coming back from laundry and passed them. They literally came in with the label placed that on my mailbox which is also 5 feet from my door. Even asking the driver why they didn't bring in the product in when they had access inside the building. I wasn't acknowledged with a response let alone a look.

Caspar this is personally my 4th dealing with this and mutual friends.

I help with an independent courier business casual/part time.

You guys clearly need a news crew bashing down your door. I can help with that.

March 10,2021 at 11: 38am, in Calgary. We did not order anything that would be delivered through this company. So, why was their Canpar company vehicle parked outside of our home then? Not only is it ILLEGAL to park in front of a handicap sign, but it is extremely DISRESPECTFUL! The sign is CLEARLY visible. Know the laws! It is ILLEGAL TO PARK, OR EVEN STOP, FOR 2 MINUTES in front of a handicap sign. Teach your drivers the rules of the road. And, yes, we have the evidence recorded on our camera. So sick of entitled people.

I wrote a review before but thought maybe they were having a bad day and took it down. Then this month I got put through the same run around but now I see that's just how they role. I'm not working at the moment so I'm home. Buzz them in and they can't even be bother to bring the package to the door, instead they leave a note outside the building saying I wasn't home and I can find details tomorrow where to pick it up. Tried to call customer service and they don't answer instead they put you in a cue which they never call you back. Tried online customer service which had 2 more hours till close and they'd close the conversation before it could even start saying it wasn't in the right hours. Never responded to my emails. They say they bring it to a convenient location which is not really that convenient. What's the point of ordering a package and paying shipping when you have to drive quite away to go pick it up every month.

I received a package yesterday which doesn't belong to me and I can't get a hold on the customer service neither with phone nor live chat. This is someone else's online order and I don't know what to do with it.

Terrible customer service - no call back received despite multiple requests, no online assistance and extensive wait times over the phone - currently 2 HOURS. My package was missorted, late to arrive and moved around the city but not delivered. I would not recommend this company. 1 star is too much of a compliment.

The company does not answer the phone or respond on chat. Takes them two days to respond to emails. They constantly promise delivery dates which come and go. Our packages is now give days late.

Cant get ahold of customer service on the phone or live chat. Pressed one to get a call back multiple days in a row. No call back. Package days late with no updated tracking. Terrible customer service. Wish I could have picked a different company to deliver the package. I would never recommend.

Impossible to get hold of customer service in the company. Live chat and phone calls are unanswered. Online tracking is poor, initially it had an expected delivery date, lately, that is no longer showing and only the pickup date is being shown. I suspect most of the calls to CS is due to the poor online tracking information. Overall very disappointed with their service, they are failing in all departments.

No answers for a package they will not deliver won’t return a phone call on hold for 5 hours before I gave up call back doesn’t work.

Never use this company highly do not recommend
