I was in this store to purchase a wallet
for a family member but he decided he doesn't want it after i paid for it. So I went back in the store to make a return but treated like a cheap customer who can't afford to buy their product. I never felt so small of myself like this before. The customer service in this store is absolutely horrible. I will never come back here and won't recommend coming here. Shop somewhere else!

Went in to return a gift I purchased for a friend as she wouldn't accept it (apparently I'm too good of a gift giver lol) and it was the first time returning anything at any LV store and wow let me tell you.night and day difference of customer service! Buying, let me show you this/that oohing and awing and do you need water etc.returning, I was treated like a criminal. She all but brought out finger print dust to see if item was used. Purchased 3 days before I returned it.and was still in box with the bow. My usual store is Edmonton and that is where I purchased item, but today brought me to Calgary for other reasons. Never again.and infact I would rather shop in the US stores with our bad dollar then step foot in this shop again.

FYI MY SECOND PURCHASE AT THIS STORE. First encounter was smooth and had been assisted by a white guy. This second encounter was with an indian tall skinny Indian lady. She displayed impatience and a lack of willingness to assist. It was evident that she was in a hurry to move on to other customers and appears to be exhausted. As a customer, I expect a certain level of attentiveness and respect, and unfortunately, this encounter fell short of those expectations. Improved customer service training and a more customer-centric approach would greatly benefit the store's reputation.

Waited for over 15 minutes to find service. Two greeters inside the store with no knowledge of customer service. One was constantly on her cell phone, texting and pretending she was occupied. Luxury brand like LV, should have plenty of STAFF to help answer questions. This store is a joke compared to the customer service experience at the CORE, downtown.
One less store for me to visit in Chinook.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but felt this is important so that people don’t waste thousands of dollars.
Please don’t be fooled by the salesmen/women who take care of you when you were initially purchasing. The moment you charge your credit card and step out of that door, you will not be welcomed back, unless you are making more purchases.
In particular, Margot who is in charge of the store, could seriously use some customer relationship classes. She talks over her customers and has zero flexibility and goes on a power trip to be quite honest.
My mother went to go and see if any repairs could be done on her bag because the bottom was wearing out (Of course she would’ve paid for the service, but just requires assistance in getting this done.) No one was interested in helping her out. It just goes to show that they’re only obligation is to complete the purchases- after which you are completely on your own.
If you like LV, honestly go to any other location who sells it. You will probably be treated for better for the exact same product. Chinook location needs new management.

Do not make any purchases at this location. I specifically went to ask a manager if exchanges (we weren’t interested in refunds, just a change to a smaller size) could be extended by a couple weeks to accommodate the holidays. One of the managers, said it was possible so I made it back to Chinook with the bag, and had the distinct displeasure of having to deal with a different store manager, Margo. She was extremely abrasive and rude and would not honour what the previous manager said.
The intensity of the way she examined the bag and pointed out non-existent “scratches” on the bags (a MUCH more thorough job than when they sold me the bag) was almost laughable. Only to say she will in no way accept the bag due to the “return procedures. ” I told her again that I wasn’t interested in returns, but she would constantly talk over me and basically treated the bag like it was trash.

There are many other brands and stores out there that will actually appreciate your business and take care of you even after you have left the store. Dont waste your money here, where the store manager treats people with such attitude after spending thousands of dollars.

I will never come to this boutique. Takes sooo long to wait for a sales representative to help you. I just wanted to ask the prices of certain items. I see employees walk around looking at the crowd and acting like they’re busy. They should have price tags like all other stores. Never again.

I needed to return my bag due to the thread opening and sometime it is a stressful situation on the returning process. However, Anh totally saved me from this stressful situation, she is super helpful, professional which make you feel comfortable to share your problem. She is so patient and polite with all my questions and requirements when I need to order a new bag. Much appreciated. The staff at this location is always professional and cheerful once you step in the store.

I was very impressed with my shopping experience while we were visiting the Calgary LV store. Jay Greenwood was the team manager who greeted us and guided us through a wonderful buying experience. We had a really fun time hearing about the craftsmanship and learning about each piece that we were interested in. Thank you Jay for the time that you invested in my experience. You made such a positive lasting impression with me. I love my Coussin purse and will be interested to see what styles the next season brings.

Peter was amazing. Polite, attentive, patient, not pushy. I entered the store without a handbag, I simply had a wallet in my back pocket. Even in the absence of an obvious way to pay for a purchase, it didn't change the level of service. I was set on a Gucci but decided to give LV a try. This was my first luxury designer bag purchase. I am so glad I chose LV and had Peter. He made the decision of my first purchase at LV an easy one. Thank you Peter

My saleslady associate Anh ensures that I get helped within reasonable time and she has taken care of my purchases and in a timely manner. She is very busy because she is good. Excellent service and she knows how to ensure clients are satisfied. She gets 6 stars, one extra one for going above the cut.

Went to go purchase a bag from online site was told by sales person she has never seen this bag in 10 months she’s been working there and did not offer any other alternatives or suggestions to anything and walked away, disappointed in the service, they really just don’t care at this location!

I'm really sad to say - I will never shop at this boutique again. The short version is, I've had primarily negative experiences with the sales staff here. I've shopped at luxury boutiques across the world and never in my life have I had such disappointing customer service.
The first time I shopped at this location, I wanted a pair of combat boots, the SA pulled them from the stock room and I was on my way - not bad. The customer service was just.average? No connection, no product knowledge, it was just transaction based - if that makes sense.

The second experience I had, I was looking to purchase a specific handbag and key holder - I contacted my SA, made an appointment and the day of, I realized I was running late and made sure to text him and let him know I would be about 10-15 minutes. By the time I arrived at the store, he was helping another customer - which was totally understandable. But I ended up waiting about 45 minutes and then ultimately walked up to someone else who wasn't busy and just asked if I could order the items because I had somewhere else to be that afternoon and quite frankly, if Im looking to spend that kind of money - I don't want to sit around and wait for a sales associate.

The third and final time that I went to this location, I had attempted to text the SA I had been working with to order my fiance a pocket organizer for Christmas. After sending three text messages that he never responded to and waiting about a week, I ended up just ordering the item online. Once it arrived, I wanted to have his initials hot stamped on the inside. I didn't have an appointment, so someone else was helping me this time. To be fair, she was lovely - but I showed her the size of hot stamping that I had on the bag I was carrying and asked for the pocket organizer to be stamped in that size (its the second smallest one). The SA told me to come back in about 20 minutes and it should be ready to go. When I picked it up, I put it in my purse (my fiance was in the mall at the same time and I didn't want to risk running into him and ruining the surprise) and checked the item when I got home. She hot stamped it with the LARGEST size. It looks absolutely ridiculous and I've attempted to go through customer service and the location in Vancouver to have it fixed, but of course - no luck there.

If I'm being completely transparent, I think that the customer service at Louis Vuitton has gotten drastically worse over the years. It's wildly obvious that the level of training staff receive is not to the same calibre as brands such as Dior or Fendi. I was so excited that Calgary has a stand alone LV but given that every experience I've had has left me feeling like I wish I had shopped somewhere else - I don't think I'll be returning.

I was going to purchase a handbag and was narrowing down my choice. Unfortunately I had the great misfortune of being served by a salesperson by the name of Sophie who said something about me to the security guards and they gave me dirty looks until I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving. I believe she wrongfully accused me of stealing something so I ended up going to Burberry where I was able to purchase a beautiful handbag that is a lot more useful and classy than the one I was about to purchase.

Perhaps my most disappointing shopping experience occurred at this location. Even though there was a line-up, the sales associates decided to allow a man and a woman walk in without an appointment in front of everyone else for no reason. This meant that everyone, including those who had an appointment, had to wait longer. I will not shop at this location again and if I am ever looking for LV products will go through other venues. If anyone is considering going, I would recommend you just walk in because they will set you up with a sales associate anyway and you won’t have to wait.

The store has a great selection and Claudia at the front door was very accommodating. I had Sarah as a sales associate and she made sure she did everything in her power to make my experience a great one. She was very professional and I'll definitely be coming back because of her!

We bought a bag and wallet with my friend

So when we arrived at the hotel, we saw 3 boxes.we were surprised, so we thought it was gifts because it was a first timer LV and also this location, Chinook store.we were unboxing and when the first box opened the item was wrong, so the unboxing video was cut and the 2nd boxes were opened and so on another wallet.so next day, on the way back home we called the store and to let them know with an item.they saw that they were wrong, they admit that they are wrong.so they said, send to fedex and also i asked if any complimentary and they told me they will send something for us.so next day we send / return an wrong item.following day we received their gifts, i didnt expect because the gifts are those small perfumes, no letter or something so were disappointed for the sample perfumes! The filipino who assisted, said to give us a nice complimentary gifts. So samples that won't get you excited.so I called and you weren't taken care of, they said call back but they didn't have a callback until now.so just disappointed because we were kind but gifts are not expected or any letter.

I did not feel very safe coming to this store with my family. Due to the location and the pandemic situation, there has been a lot of teenagers and suspicious people going into the mall and this has caused a lot of commotion around the LV store and inside the LV store. There was an incident where I was in the store and two teenagers were getting too excited and they hit my child's stroller while we were paying.

I immediately cancelled my order and left with my family because this is just too unprofessional.

I didn’t like the service at the Louis Vuitton location when it was in Holt Renfrew, so I thought it would be the same here. I was extremely pleasantly surprised! My mom and I walked in for mother’s day today and was greeted with a friendly, warm face. She compliment our purses and style, then proceeded to help my mom by answering a million questions my mom had about their perfume line. Not once did the SA make us feel unwelcome or less than, as some other people have experienced.

She was patient, kind and very, very good at her job. We had a nice conversation, despite it being very busy for mother’s day she never made my mom and I feel rushed. She answered many questions and even heat stamped a LV piece for me (I didn’t purchase from this store).

I would definitely return just to see this SA. Thank you, Lindsey for making this experience so lovely for my mom and I.

I stopped in yesterday for a new bag and to ask about a repair for my Neverfull. The sales girl I spoke with was absolutely horrendous! After I explained the issue with my current bag she shoved her card in my hand (I would name her but I promptly threw it out because this location will NEVER get my business). After thanking her I looked up and began to ask her about the new bag I was looking for and she literally had already turned her back and walked away. So I spent two months of her salary at Chanel - will never set foot in this poor excuse for an LV store again.

Although in the past I have had some unpleasant experiences I must say there a couple of gems that provide a fantastic experience. Both Cherry and Andrew are always amazing and will go above and beyond to help. They are also very well informed. I have also been told that they are aware of the nasty feedback they’ve been getting from reviews and was assured that they are working on making their store much more inviting.

We came in to make a purchase yesterday which we were undecided about between 2 bags. We received excellent service from the sales person. He was very helpful and although we found out he was supposed to be on his break, he didn’t rush through the transaction, he took his time and helped us with any questions we had and pulled out any items we wanted to see.
They offered us water and took time to wrap up our item perfectly.
We appreciate the friendliness and for not being uptight like most of these high end stores.

Had a great shopping experience at this location, I have dealt with Donia and Will here on a couple of occasions and have experienced exceptional customer service from them both on my visits. I had one misunderstanding with another associate who had an arrogant attitude which in my case was quickly resolved by a phone call she made to management, therefore I can understand some negative reviews posted here regarding some staff. I have shopped at several Louis Vuitton locations worldwide and have many products and am pleased with the quality. Will definitely be back, thanks again to Donia and Will for the great service!

Staff are completely clueless and snobby. Was looking at getting a gift for my girlfriends birthday cause she loves LV. I dont wear flashy brands so I was completely ignored and glared at with the "what are you doing here? " look. Its incredible that a luxury brand like LV has such god awful service. My girlfriend didnt believe me when I told her about what happened so she came with me the next day and we were ignored again. Awesome job guys

You guys arent anything special, you work in retail so you have zero reason to judge people and be so snobby.

This is a great location if your going to make a purchase from Louis vuitton you have to go here to get the true experience. The staff was very friendly and courteous they made you feel comfortable no matter if you were making a purchase or just browsing.

I've came when they first opened, was greeted upon entry. Second time I came showing my husband something, made eye contact with an SA and she didn't even say Hi.

But my actual experience was: I came in as I was told by the SA that helped me out while still in Holt Renfrew that my Palm Springs Mini was in stock for me to be exchanged as I have been on the wait list for about 3.5 months. I went into the new Chinook location with my bag to be exchanged and went to the back counter and waited. Unfortunately the original SA that was helping me out since Holt wasn't in. There was an SA assisting another customer at the time so I waited. After the SA was done, she just went into the back room, didn't acknowledge me or anything. A few other SA came out of the back room during the time I was waiting none offered help. Another customer came after me and was behind me looking at some items so one of the SA offered her help but not me. So as I continued to wait what seemed like forever, another customer also came up and started waiting behind me, and an SA asked the customer behind me if she's been helped and I just kind of said I would like some help if possible. Ya! Someone finally assisted me after a long awkward wait.and she was nice.

First of all was told that I stopped by at a perfect time as the store was usually packed (not likely) I was rnformed that they staff are to handle the bags as they are items that are for sale, I wasn’t sure which hand of mine the associate wanted to slap first: (
I also felt like the associate was staring down her nose at the Michael Kors bag that I was carrying: (let me tell you that they have great service!
I also stopped at another nearby store to ask them their thoughts on this store and the sales persons reply was “I didn’t get good vibes from there”

Went there looking for a gift for my mother. Staff didn't bother to acknowledge me as i was standing at the counter waiting for someone to at least tell me that i will be helped. Found a product i liked but talked myself into not buying it because i wasn't given the proper customer services.
One gentalman that was working there finally helped me and when i told him what i was looking for, other employees flawked towards me.
All they want is sales.
Sad.

Firstly, if you need to go to a Louis Vuitton store in Calgary, I don't recommend going to this one (Chinook). I highly recommend going to the one located in the CORE shopping mall downtown.

The customer service here I received was disappointing. I've shopped with my family many times at the LV store in the CORE, and we've always had beautiful customer service there.

TLDR; The employees there are judgemental, not helpful, not friendly. Poor customer service for a store like Louis Vuitton.

The first time I went to the store, it was quite busy as they had just opened. I decided to come back a later date when it would be much calmer.

The second time I came, it was even busier than the last time. Since I wanted to buy a wallet for my boyfriend, I decided to wait. I went to the mens section and stood in the centre with a couple of other people who were waiting. A woman came out of the backroom and saw that there were many people waiting. She asked if anyone needed help, but her demeanour didn't show that she wanted to help. It almost felt like she was obligated to ask since there were so many of us waiting. I immediately responded to her as she was about to turn away, asking to see the wallet styles they had in stock.

She went behind the desk, and pulled out some wallets to show me. All the while, very short with answers, did not provide any helpful information on the wallets. When I asked if she had wallets of a certain leather style, she was short with her replies. She stood there with her hands on the table impatiently. As I was looking at the wallets, she started to clean the wallets up! I was certainly not done looking and was still debating on the wallets! Immediately, I felt disgusted at her service and decided I would come back again another time.

The third time I came, was on an evening weekday. The mall was much slower, the holidays had passed, so I was expecting much better service. Surprisingly, the most friendly employee there was the security/greeter.
I came with my boyfriend this time, and we went to the mens section immediately upon entry. My boyfriend and I waited for about 20 minutes before being helped, as all the employees were busy with others. We couldn't reach anyone. When we finally got help, it was because we asked an employee who was busy putting away the scarves.
Her name was Lian* (I believe). When we asked for help, her response was "yeah". When we had got to the wallets, she took them all out and showed us. Did not say anything else, did not ask us questions, did not tell us any information about the wallets. The worst of it, was when Lian* placed her hands on the table, and rhythmically clicked her nails on the table impatiently. I wanted to just leave, it was absolutely horrible to stand there and watch her click her nails. However, my boyfriend wanted a wallet and decided on one already. She didn't double check the wallet, and I had to ask her for any new ones. Which she replied to shortly, saying "This is all I have. "
When we bought the wallet, she didn't tell us anything about our purchase (returns, etc). She went to the back to wrap it up, and when she came back, she walked towards the other family sitting there! My boyfriend had to tell her the wallet was for us.

The customer service here is horrible. As I feel like there are only one or two helpful employees here, I would say this has to do something with training. Further, with how long I waited for help, and how many times I had to go back, I would say they need more employees for their store.

I also understand that because they are in a mall, they need to be a little bit more judgmental as many different kinds of people walk into the store vs.the one in the CORE. But that is NOT an excuse to not be friendly, and provide good customer service at the least.

Beautiful store, horrible customer service. I would have loved to write a good review, but unfortunately it was impossible to do so.

Zero service, no one greeted us. I waited around to make a purchase and no one approached me. This is not the first time I have walked out of louis vuitton without acknowledgement. It's a crying shame. Staff are poorly vetted for the job. They are ruining the name of an iconic brand. Better of with online purchasing.

Just left the store, and the staff just stood around laughing as chatting. They didn’t engage me and my partner at all. We were very disappointed with the lack of customer service. The store downtown is definitely better.
