I was just told at the pro desk to use a product that won’t pass inspection because they are too incompetent to stock the correct product. Seems every time I go here I end up heading to home depot so I fully suggest saving yourself some time and heading to Home Depot first.

Rude employee. I waited for him to finish his conversation with a customer to ask ask quick question. He aggressively and angrily said “can’t you see I’m with another customer”. I left, Not shopping there again.

I enjoy shopping at Lowes, especially during the high seasons when they are putting out their brand new products.
You can find pretty much everything that you need at reasonable prices.

Enjoyed going to purchase my patio furniture. It was 25% off! The service counter called a young man to get it for me. He was so helpful and quick getting it together and help my daughter and I load it.

Lowe's has usurped Rona and become my default home and garden store. They have helped me with a number of small projects - I am not a very handy person in general. Most recently, Kevin in plumbing was super helpful in tracking down the valves and such I needed to fix a leaky toilet. When good ol' Canadian Tire won't cut it, head up the trail to Lowe's.

I asked my local Lowe's store to price match 2-1/2" x 1/2' primed MDF but the agent told me they only price match if the manufacturer number is the exactly same! It seemed like a poor excuse in this case. 2-1/2" x 1/2' primed MDF is the same product everywhere regardless of manufacturer. So I went to the orange store to get what I needed - and I won't be back to Lowe's. Another customer lost

Thank you Keenan for all the help today! The guy went above and beyond to locate a fireplace screen that was definitely not in the right spot. The guy got on a ladder and hunted it down in the extra stock above the shelves.

Bought a dishwasher there, sales person was good. Phoned them today to check if it has arrived. Been told they will check and call back, they never did. After my second call appliances department manager told me that it is not there yet therefore they didn't call me back.
Is that what you call excellent customer service?
Will not come back to Lowe's. Well I guess, I have to, at least one more time.

I tried to return an items that I did not have a receipt for, but the customer service rep refused to return it for me because the item was on sale so I left the box that I wanted drew return on the counter and walked away, but she did not try to stop me. This time of service has been a normal thing at Lowe’s considering being a contractor, and I told her that she still refused to help return my product. Very disappointed.

I go to the Calgary, Macleod Trail SW store all the time. Today I went in to get some keys cut. I've gotten keys cut here before but today, unfortunately, I had to come back a few times as the keys didn't work in my keyhole. Twice I returned as they didn't work. Upon my second drive over, I called to speak to the store manager, as I was frustrated with my experience. I spoke with Bob (the store manager), and he was very good about dealing with the situation. He offered for me to come in and have new keys recut and refunded me the entire cost, apologizing for the mishap, friendly the whole way through. I appreciate this and highly recommend this store. Staff are friendly and always eager to ask if you need help with anything.

Came to pick up appliances, and were not ready. Very displeased with lack of sense of urgency.

Edit: Owner responded - after an experience like that, I am in no rush to come back. Nothing is being done to make it right.

I have been doing some small Renovations and usually go to a competitors store but they weren’t very helpful.
I have used this store about 6 times over the past month and have been blown away by the service and helpful advise that I have been given.
Whoever manages this store is doing an amazing job in motivating his people to go over and above for the customer.
I have dealt with 4 or 5 different departments and all have exceeded my expectations.
Kudos to all the staff.

I want to share my experience with this store. Last week the store sells one fridge for $948 as a regular price, but offer 10% off if you get a store card. I asked if they will match other stores' price because Leons sell the same one for $898. They said yes. A couple of days later, I went to the store again, they changed the price to $998. The person claimed he is the head of appliance department and said your refrigerator was broken so you had to buy. That's the fishiest shopping experience I ever had. All I want to say is Dave, sir, I can choose not to buy from you! What a joke!

Wonderful spring and summer garden center! Awesome flowers with a fine selection of annuals, perrenials and house plants! Highly recommended. Good customer service skills, seasonal staff so expect little delays while they learn. They are very nice. Good management!

Very poor customer service. I went there to see if they had the humidifier filter pad to change mine (a quick yes or no answer from staff) and had to walk around for 5 minutes to find an associate to help me. This staff member wasn't sure, so he told me to press the 'need help' button. I pressed the button and had to wait for 20 minutes before someone actually came to help me. During this time, my dad tried to call the store to ask the question via phone so I would know if I needed to wait or not. A staff member picked up the phone and automatically redirected him to a french message. Very disappointing customer service at this location.

Worst location possible, all the staff are older and don't rly seem to care to help you or have any knowledgein there department, the customer service girl does not do anything and if you ask for help she will point u to go find someone els. Pretty sad store

Worst experience at this store when I went to returns a blower and a shelf which I bought from 52 street Lowe’s, the employee was very rude when I said Hi and started to inform her about the blowers problem as it was not working, she called her supervisor and both very informing that I cannot return it, and they want me to contact the product manufacturers and get it resolved with them and with regard to the shelf they said they could not find the details in their system, I know they did it intentionally, I called the store manager he helped me getting the refund for my shelf but for my blower i went again all the way to 52 street to return and they were so nice and return process was easily done, Lowe’s management at McLeod please …I am not against anybody, but I would like to see that these sort of events should not happen with others …

Probably my best Lowes experience ever! From the customer I chatted with out front of the store (he bought exactly what I was looking for and even gave me directions) to the staff member who helped me locate the item and was super excited about having them in stock again (ok, we are talking lawn sprinklers). This is someone who cares about what they do and it shows - Lowes better keep an eye on her or she's going to be snagged by another company.
The store was a little on the quiet side but it was early Friday afternoon. It was clean and had items that you couldn't find other places (such a sprinklers, fans and air conditioners).
Used the self serve till which went well enough (does Lowes not do airmiles anymore?). The lady watching over us definitely didn't have the same exuberance as the sprinkler girl did but at least acknowledged me when I said thanks once the transaction was complete.
Super happy to have my sprinkler (especially as it was on sale) - Woohoo!

I have had good experiences at this location. I haven't had any problem finding someone to help me find things I am looking for. The staff seem to be knowledgeable and friendly. Several times, I have asked questions about small home maintenance tasks, mostly plumbing and electrical, and have gotten good advice.

Super friendly and helpful staff. There were locks advertised online but it came up different in the store. The lady in hardware no questions asked verified it and honored the price. Much better staff than crowfoot Lowe's.

Had an amazing experience with Kevin in the appliance department. Not only was he knowledgeable and helpful, he was not pushy. He had our best interest in mind and gave us multiple options that would work for us. Even when he had system issues, he was able to get store manager help and sort out the issues quickly. He went above and beyond to even help load the smaller appliances in my car.

Such a great experience! Was looking for paints and stains for a diy project and the staff were so kind and helpful! Literally never going anywhere else when I need help, I wish I'd gotten the names of the two people who helped me out.

They have a young man in their employment, who went above and beyond helping us out yesterday. We couldn't find a Craftsman cordless reciprocating saw, but their website said there was 4 of them. And this employee wouldn't stop until he found us them. Very refreshing to see such determination to help a customer. Thanks

Very bad service, 3-4 times called trying to reach appliance service and no response, go to the store with 3 kids and keep buzzing buttons for help for 25 minutes and no one shows up even if everyone hear on speakers.go to the cashier and look for help and finally bought washer and dryer but no one was also able to help with loading on trailer, everyone was busy lady told me so i had to ask people on parking lot for help.

Used Lowe's curbside pickup. Their parking area isn't super well marked but once you find the designated parking spots the directions are clear. Took a little while for the employee to come out and give me my product but they apologized for the wait.

Went in for some product this morning. The pro at the desk seemed pretty clueless on product knowledge and quantitys. Also didn't give instructions on where we needed to park to get our product. Then in the back no one helped us for about 15 minutes just for us to get a refund on some of the product because the guy at the pro desk sold us more than we asked for. A little disappointed with the service this am.

They had exactly what I was looking for in garden but no customer service to be found. When I arrived at front till with my paving blocks, dirt and plants I had to ask if I could have assistance to my car. The cashier was accommodating and I was helped by a very friendly polite young man.

Great location, products and prices, now they just need more staff and more knowledgeable staff. When I found someone, they were helpful, but they didn't always have the knowledge so we would have to search for someone that did and that someone was usually busy.

Lowe's suffers from the same issues that all hardware stores seem to suffer from. If you're looking to pop in to find a small item or two something quickly, you're probably going to stroll up and down the aisles for longer than you want to. The staff, when you can find them, was very helpful and friendly, but finding someone can be tough.

I had the displeasure of speaking with the Manager on my last visit. I didn't even say anything to him yet and he came at me with inappropriate language and was EXTREMELY rude. For no reason, I was just asking a question at the customer service desk. On a previous visit I had planned to buy a hot water tank but when I inquired about installation the "experts" at the plumbing desk told me not to buy that tank because their installers always complained about installing it, saying it was too complicated. Umm, okay.

Went to return a few items that we didn't need anymore. First, I've never had a problem returning items, even if there a year old. This women working at the returns desk must hate her life, cause she had so much attitude. Then she gets her manager, who also gives me attitude. I've never been treated like that in my life. After this experience, I will never return back to lowes. You have lost a solid customer and I can see why your stores are going out of business. Maybe hire some friendly staff and people will shop there.

The store has a lots of good product but I have a problem with the payment system they offer. Even after many months of pandemic they still don't have a tap payment system. You have to touch everything after everybody else. Also the website is not logical. Every time I click on the product when I am browsing this local store it shows me a products available and priced in Ontario. Hello Lowe's, wake up, it is a 21st century.

I just attempted to purchase 3 very heavy rubber mats to protect my flooring from my treadmill, elliptical machine, stationary bikes etc online as the product is not available at any Lowe's store. I even registered with Lowe's to take advantage of their $10 coupon. I filled out the billing information and the process stalled multiple times. I then contacted Lowe's directly to troubleshoot and I was advised that the billing address and the delivery address do not match. I agreed as I need it delivered to another location and normally all online processes ask if the two addresses differ they provide you with the option of filling out the billing address. It seems Lowe's Canada's online system does not have such provisions and as a result I cannot order the product as I cannot accept delivery at my billing address. I did ask for a supervisor and was advised the CSO I spoke with had already discussed it with her Management team and I was told to contact my credit card. I explained that the rejection is a flaw on Lowe's end but it was a futile attempt on my part to try to reason with them. I did ultimately contact Visa and there was no attempt to process my Lowe's order. Visa reiterated to me what I had attempted to explain to the rep I was speaking with. The rejection and/or flaw was Lowes inability to provide an alternate address for my billing. They took my contact information and told me I would have to wait 3 - 5 business days for a return call. Unfortunately, I need this product ASAP and I am afraid that it will be too late, should someone attempt to contact me in
3-5 business days. I further attempted to contact the Macleod Tr Calgary store, spoke with Mike, the store Manager, but he unfortunately was at a loss to assist me as it seems the stores have no clout with the online division. So I am at a stalemate with absolutely no-one to discuss this with that can assist me in processing the purchase. 0 customer service and a very antiquated online purchasing system. Very very disappointing in this day and age.

This store has gone downhill ever since Lowes took over from Rona. It's basically serve yourself. No staff around anywhere to help, although there were 3 people at the till to take my money. Sad actually because Rona was a great store and now it's been taken down.

We bought a couple of appliances. The young man at the appliance desk was very helpful and the plumbing expert was also very helpful. We were able to check out fairly quickly which was a bonus too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This rating is not specific to this store, but the company in general. Don't believe their 30 day price match guarantee. Bought an entry door, online listed 1 price, the store couldn't see the same price. Purchased online to save money, I know they had them in stock at this location as I was their specific website. Turns out, they pushed the order to a different location, went online, the door was reduced further, however, Lowes HO refused to price match on their own sale price. Seriously, shop elsewhere.

Located just what I needed quickly. Unfortunately had to walk diagonally through the store to get a cash register, then back the other to get to my vehicle. A check out at customer service would be ONE of the best things they could do to attract customers.

Shout out to Joe in plumbing. Installing an ikea sink is never an easy DIY project. Joe helped me find some critical fittings in order to get the job done. Very helpful, professional and kind. Thanks for that customer service Joe.
