Purchased a string of Christmas lights at this location and paid $19.99. They only had one in stock so they sent me to the Lowe’s on Manning and there were on sale for $6.99. Went back to the location on 97th St, and they wouldn’t honour the price guarantee on the exact same merchandise on the exact same day, not happy at all

Avoid this location. I know it is closing, but holy-moly the staff was rude. We asked questions about stock and were scolded with "our website stock isn't accurate", like we are somehow supposed to magically know that. Could find absolutely no one willing to help us load a heavy item. Refused to use the forklift because it "wasn't safe" so instead they had 2 associates lift a 350lb stove onto a truck.

The paint desk, cashiers and customer service desk is always extremely helpful at this location. However the gardening center definitely needs improvement. Prices on products, more staff and stock.

I bought BUR CAM submersible pump 1/4 Hp yesterday and whenever I turned on it spins but as soon as I plug in garden house (about 15-20’) it is not pumping. I tried to return for exchange and store associate didn’t want to take it back telling me that it is being used…
It is ridiculous, … How can you test the product without putting it in the water and run it… Doesn’t look like this company stands for the product quality and customer satisfaction… Product is faulty an I have to “eat” cost of $138… This is not acceptable.

What a gong show this morning! I went in to buy 13 sheets of plywood and a box of screws. An hour later I am leaving with neither. Today is 15% off purchases over $250, and the signs are everywhere in the store. There are only two nice staff members working, customer service, returns, checkout, the pro desk and the contractor checkout. They tried to help, but they had not been taught how to enter the promo. They called the manger and we got moved from the contractor checkout to the customer service desk. The manager on duty (Dave) was there but just handed the other staff member a booklet on how to enter the promo and walked away. She read through the manual with us step by step trying to figure it out, but it didn’t work. Other customers were waiting obviously frustrated, so we let them go ahead while we waited for the manager to come back. He came back, didn’t look at us, just told the person helping us that the instructions are in the manual. He said, “they only get 5% and then 10% not 15! ” then without even looking at us (nevermind explaining what was going on or god for bid trying to help), he just walked away. The two customer service reps looked at us, obviously stressed and certainly feeling abandoned said they would try to help or just over ride it. My wife and I were done. I can not believe the lack of support the manager gave them, nor the utter disrespect shown to us. We just left and wished them good luck with the rest of their day. In a time where there is so much competition for good people, the lack of any support was shocking. The biggest assets you have is those people behind the desk trying (though extremely short staffed) to help us and the other customers. Lowes this morning was a customer service dumpster fire and it is purely because of the Manager on duty.

Update- I contacted the number you provided and they knew nothing about this and said I would have to explain this all over again. How is that meant to be a solution or make a customer feel heard? Just a way to satisfy the tracker for Google reply time. It seems that the lack of customer care starts at head office. The only people that seem to care about the customers at Lowe’s is the frontline associates that receive no support themselves. Very disappointing from a company whose message is, "big box" shouldn't mean little service.

There is no point in getting the online recipes. They can't do anything with it. I usually get online recipes because I tend to lose my real ones. When i went to return my 300 dollar product that was too large, they told me they're not able to use the online recipes. When i asked why it was an option? She told me she didn't know. Everyone go to Home Depot!

Went in to the store on 97 str And 165 ave, a product i bought nit even 24 hrs ago was 50%off, $125 less. I asked if i can get the diffence with my receipt. NOPE, as per manager rule i couldnt get the difference back. So i had to return the tree And get it again at a lower proce, there is a store that makes ppl happy with running around.
Crazy how they say that their customers are very important, what a joke.

I have never experienced such poor customer service in my entire life. I was having an issue with an online order that I made for curbside pick up. I kept getting the run around between the store CSR, live agent, 1 800 agent then back again to store manager who by the way was so condescending despite the fact I explained to him everyone is passing the buck and all I need is to resolve the issue. Based on the fact each individual giving me so many conflicting answers, unprofessional attitude and lack of competency, I would never deal with Lowe's or even suggest anybody does. What a disappointment, if there was less than one star, I'd say this would be where I'd use that.

The customer service counter is a nightmare. Seems only cpl of them can answer questions about products off top of head and ther going through system change so they need someone to train them Need to be trained quickly. Every-time I come here I get poor service. Everything is delayed, almost everyone is unable to help stating: “This isn’t my department” without referring you or showing the willingness to help. Manning is much better. If not for the cashiers and customer service section always being friendly I would give this place 1 star. Start hiring people who care.

Seems like I always leave this location headed to a home depot. Quite often out of whatever I am looking for. As a contractor it is not convenient at all to shop for materials/ hardware. Stopped in for coated 3" and 2.5" nails. None available. Hammer selection was terrible, lumber stored outdoors was sun damaged and crooked

Picked up a blind from Lowe’s this morning and a few staffs walked by would always check to see if I need help, very friendly!
Shout out to Matt who helped with great advice and assisted us to trim the blinds.
Went back later this afternoon because I’ve made a mistake on the length of blind, Matt helped again! Easy to do business with and very helpful! Highly recommended this location.

The cashier was very rude as I was talking she just butted right into my conversation. I may look like a bun but I'm a very hard worker wearing work clothes and the way the employees were watching me made me want to become a thief just to put their suspitions at ease.no wonder I usually shop at home depo.

Went in for a simple key copy. Spent over 25 minutes waiting for assistance. Even after ringing the bell, no one came to the desk. Only provided this rating as one associate went searching across the floor for someone to help. Other associates just passed by. You would hope that at least one individual per shift would be able to operate one of their services (and if not, just let us know so we can leave instead of wait endlessly).

So annoyed with the customer service at this location. Purchased a patio set back in March 2021 found out the chairs I ordered with the set are a special order, where almost at the end of June and I still haven’t received them. I’ve been going in to the location and calling numerous times questioning as to when my chairs will be in and the workers look at you with a blank look they can’t answer any questions just always use the excuse it’s covid and there back logged. Finally I reached the point where I wanted a manager to call me because in the 3 months not one of the staff reached out to inform me of the delay and maybe some sort of update, it was always myself inquiring. Eventually I had some sort of manger by the name of Deb call me not to offer me any compensation for the delay and poor customer service but to mimic me “what due you want a phone call everyday, every week etc. And to give me the same BS story the staff give when inquiring in store as-well mentioning if your not happy you can always get a refund l… Clearly that wasn’t my intentions when I purchased the patio set. It’s frustrating and beyond annoying the customer service this location has from the staff to the mangers.

Better late than not at all.we were looking for a gazebo and had researched for a while.finally found the one we liked at Lowe’s who price matched to a place who had a lower price.
So with the help of Mary front desk and Linda from customer service made this happen on March 14/2021. On March 21/2021went back to Lowe’s after a phone call with Doreen to confirm price of install, then Chloe cemented the deal fast and efficient. April 26 gazebo was installed and is amazing.thanks for continued great service!

I visited this store Sunday 2 May 2021 at approx 3: 00pm. I had my mask in my hand as I was going to enter the store, I know masks are required inside. An employee from outside the store yelled at me to put my mask on. I wasn't even at the door yet, and my mask was in my hand. I found it extremely rude to be yelled at for complying with the regulation of wearing masks indoors.

Honestly, my experiences at Lowes has been hot and miss. But tonight, went in for a quick pick up replacement thermostat. Raff at this location helped me to locate the exact item I was looking for, explained to me about the legitimate price difference. Felt very supported and taken care of considering it was a last errand of a long day. Very good customer service at this location.

Amazing store that is very clean but it’s pricy when you compare with Canadian tire next door. They also seem to have a lot of things in the wrong spots so you have to match UPC codes to labels to make sure you have the right price
