Store appearance was cluttered and disorganized. Alot of empty items. Staff was distracted.

Great Company overall but poorly Managed. Need to focus on customer service and not filling up the shelves.

I always forget about checking out Lowe’s first. Never buy anything until you have compared with the team at Lowe’s. Great service and the stores are not too crowded.

Huge selection of products and very helpful staff I went here to look for a few things, xacto, planters, lightbulbs and a fixture for my sink, during my visit I was helped by a few staff in diffrent areas in finding things most of them had much to add to my search in terms of knowledge

Gave this pace 4 stars because I can't think of much that I don't like about this store. I would of given it 5 stars if the cashier had to help us out the other day when one product didn't scan properly at the self checkouts. Another employee seen my till was flashing red so she stopped to help us out. If they want people to use self checkouts, these machines should work much better than they do. Always seems to be issues with the self checkouts. That's the only issue that I have with this place. Everything else is top notch for me.

Has most things for home improvement in stock. Friendly staff and is dog friendly.
Went back last week 12 June 2023 and did not have a good experience at all, most big stores have the same trouble. I checked on line for a Globe Electric Smart Wi-fi Plug 50347 and it said that there were 11 at the store. When I arrived I had the service desk check and was told that there were none at the store, I told them that the web site said that there were 11, I was told that they do not look after the data base it is looked at in the east and they could not do anything about it. I then ordered it on line and it was ready for instore pick up the next morning. Why would a company have 2 data bases, one for the public and one for in store and they do not agree? I wasted my time trying to support a local store to be snubbed by the staff. I will go back but will always use in store pick up to make sure they have the item as the staff can not help you.

Bought an in-stock washer and dryer and had no issues. Reasonably priced and then got a discount as well. We were able to take it home that day so I could do my laundry which was awesome. The sales associate explained everything really well and gave us good advice that we took and we're happy with our purchases.

It is unfortunate that Lowe’s does not participate in the Scanner Price Accuracy Code.

Just bought an eGO trimmer at the West Edmonton store and it scanned for $499.00, instead of the marked $449.00. After a bit of a hassle for the staff to confirm I was telling the truth, the manager/supervisor () said they could match the posted price, but the Code did not apply since Lowe’s doesn’t support it.

Retailers who follow the Code will give an additional $10 reduction.

FYI - The good news is Home Depot and Rona do follow the Code! So do other retailers like Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Costco, and many more. I guess they just hold themselves to this higher standard.

Update - I must say I am surprised by Lowe’s response. I figured they would come back saying they do follow the code like other reputable retailers, and the staff made an error. The fact they do not is very surprising.

I have also removed the manager/supervisors name. It has no value, nor is it her fault, if this is a poorly considered corporate policy. Also reduced to one star.

Lowe's Customer Service Reps are great. They are so knowledgeable. The store is always clean and tidy.

Just when you think customer service is dead you go to Loews in St Albert and you meet Marietta! What a treat! She was helpful, knowledgeable, and very hardworking on our behalf. I would have given her a six star rating if possible! Awesome!

I am raising my rating to 5-stars. We have had to return some items and make major purchases over time. Based on being a long-term customer, their service has always been very friendly and helpful, even when making returns. Lowe's is one of my go-to home improvement stores.

I recently ordered a smoker grill online. They took my $1300, but didn't have stock.
Then they shorted my refund $85.
Pathetic that they have no inventory control.
Worse that they did not refund the full amount.
I'm a Tradesperson and I bought a ton of stuff from Lowes and Rona. Never again.

I went to curbside pickup and click on 'I am here' link in the email. Waited for 10 mins and no one showed up. I called the number and ask for curbside and they asked the parking number I parked my car at. I mentioned that. The guy comes out with my stuff and standing at the front door. He didn't come to curbside pickup parking.

Wouldnt order tools from them, they tell you 2 weeks be lucky to get 1-2 months. Once paid they dont care about the customer.

A very nice store. The staff were super friendly and helpful I just ask where things are as the store is so big I could spend hours in there. The staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and the price was very reasonable.

Bought our new washer and dryer there. Very reasonable price. The staff are always friendly there. Delivery guys installed them 6 days later and were great.

Parking good. Staff friendly if you can find them. Store was clean and organized. Had what I needed. Prices felt high.

Our local Lowes closed down so it was nice to visit this one! Oh how I've missed the great prices, and all the amazing things! Can't beat those Christmas decorations either!

Waited 40 minutes in appliances for help. Looked around for someone and finally went to go customer service to ask to send more help. If not for Matt who came to help I would have given one star! Matt deserves the 5 stars not the store.

Bought some lavender plants here and I was told that they come with a year warranty, i went to exchanged them because they all died but I was told that I must have the receipt. I mean, who in the world keeps the receipt for a year for some plants? I would never buy my plants here! The return lady was very rude and had a superiors attitude.

Just wanted to tell you that the lady in the Locks and Hardware section is so helpful. We were there on Monday April 19,2021 in the morning. I wished I'd gotten her name. She was so nice and knowledgeable. We both walked away thinking what a nice experience that was.

Just don't buy your plants here, if they don't survive there is a very little chance that you will get your money back or an exchange if you lost the receipt

While looking for items from Garden center the employee Komal helped me to locate the items that I was looking beyond my expectation

Clean and well organized. Not too busy. The flowers in the garden center didn't have much variety. A lot of petunias and marigolds and not the greatest quality.

I wish I had better contractors discounts. Not a bad alternative to Home Depot and now that room is going out of business this is the second choice

Good place to go! I had to wait a really long time for them to locate a bbq but once they located it they have me $50 off as I had to wait so long. Much appreciated and the bbq is amazing. Assembly was free too.

Not a very product educated staff. Had a tough time finding an associate and when I did they knew less about what I was looking for than I did.
Even using my Airmiles bonus code was a chore to find someone that could input for my purchase. Hopefully it went through but I am skeptical

Went in looking at a new washer and dryer. Dealt with Jon, who did not try to sell us the most expensive machines. We were also able to take advantage of the price match policy, and bought each piece for $120 less than listed price.

Tim Allen gets a bad rap, that's not fair, it's not easy being a Hollywood Conservative, but Home Improvement is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Home Improvement is a sitcom made in the United States of America, just like Lowe's Home Improvement. If you are a clumsy oaf who has a cable television show where he reviews tools under the employ of the company which produces them, I highly recommend going to Lowe's Home Improvement for all of your sitcom needs! Decent hardware store. Was in store about 30 mins, not one member of staff approached us. Found what we were looking for and the cashier was friendly.

Went to look for kitchen cabinets, John in the appliances department was the rudest person I've ever encountered so I left and went to home Depot and got top notch service. Avoid!

A very frustrating experience at the Manning Lowes. All 1 gallon perennials were marked down from $8.99 to $4.50. A special code was entered into the computer but the tellers and customer service just couldn't understand their own process. We had selected a variety of perennials but they refused to give us the sale price because the sale code did not match any of the individual plant codes. We explained that it was a unique code to enable the sale price across all 1 gallon perennials but they just couldn't understand and wouldn't give us the sale price which was clearly stickered on the shelf. We went to the Stony Plain Road store where we got the sale price with no hassle. Poorly trained staff.

I was extremely disappointed with the service in the tool department. Not helpful at all and walk away without answering my questions.

I have been just under eight years in Canada and my favorite place is Lowe's, customer service is excellent, prices fit my pocket and good supplies.

Went there tonight to try to find a certain item and a gentleman named Aamen helped me and went beyond! I was so impressed! This was the west end location on Stony plain road in Edmonton! Kodos big time! Hugh rave!

Best hardware store for pricing and selection. I used to buy lumber and construction related products from former Totem and Rona as they were the only canadian owned hardware stores.

Now that rona was bought by Lowe's, it's home depot or Lowe's to choose from.
Lowe's sales are usually better.

After our freezer broke we had dealt with Frigidaire and arranged to have a new freezer delivered. We were told we simply had to go to Lowe’s to pay an 80$ fee to have our warranty activated and the new freezer would be sent out. We went and spoke to the guy working at appliances and he said he knew nothing of this and had not heard from Frigidaire. We provided him with all the information we had reference numbers for the freezer serial number, phone numbers, etc and he said that nothing came up in the system and he could not help us. We then had assistant manager Nadeem come up and offer his assistance. Within 5 seconds Nadeem located our file on the computer and sorted everything out to have the new freezer delivered. He went above and beyond to help us and make sure our freezer would be sent out this Thursday. He then handed us over to a younger worker valentine who promptly took us through all the paper work and even waved the extra fee for us. Employees like Nadeem and Valentine will keep us coming back to Lowe’s for our major applicances.

Their website clearly states 4x8 foot Pintex paintable beboard on clearance for 14.49 per sheet. After a 45 minute drive, two sale people and over half an hour in the store I was told the manager said "NO" I can't have it for the price on their web site.
As he was on the phone I asked to speak with the Manager. Nakeem I think. They would not let me talk to him on the phone he was currently on and I would have to wait longer. After some debate the said they honor their Web Price. Too little to late Lowes. Go somewhere else people.

Employee helped me find the bizarre nylon washer I needed to replace. He even suggested other aisles I might find it at, and he was correct! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried to find him and thank him but didn't see him anywhere. So thanks!

Website said they had product in stock but nobody was able to find it. Customer service was slow to respond and I ended up not getting what I wanted.

I think the only tolerable way to shop at this store is to be deaf. I was I. Here for maybe 10 minutes and heard "special assistance needed at a desk" at least 15 times.

I recommend not ordering/purchasing anything that needs to be delivered. They did try to swap in floor models (yes with scratches and dents) when paying for a brand new high end refrigerator and hope that I wouldn't notice. It took months to correct the issue all while dealing with their third-party delivery company who do not care about your time.

They did however correct the issues but it took a substantial amount of time and effort.

I usually flip a coin before deciding between Lowe's and Home Depot. I also go online to check for any current deals and do price comparisons. In summary, you won't go wrong shopping here.

Staff are never around.in any department. Today went to get paint, waited for over 10 min pressing the assistance button 6 times for an associate.finally came, knew next to nothing for their "paint specialist". Knew little about paint brands and nothing about rollers. Educate your staff Lowe's. Home Depot is way better.

Hmmm the help here isn't that great.home depot is a lot better.trying to find the right cutting tools no help.trying to find the right hardware no help.trying to find lights.took forever and finally sold out.trying to get something very simple cut.they said it counts as a precious cut. (it was just a hardboard cut into 3 pieces.but okay)

We needed some stain for our fence. It was on sale. Bonus, there's was another discount on top of the sale price. The thing I like about Lowe's is there is someone always available to help. They have a great product selection and great parking.
