Very unsatisfactory. I asked the tech to keep a rag in his hand under the tube he was using to check my antifreeze so he didn’t dribble it all over my engine and air filter. Immediately he got an attitude with me. Then I asked the manager to keep on top of his guys and he too gave me an attitude. Tech was on his phone when he was supposed to be paying attention to the task at hand. I was asked by the manager if I wanted to upgrade from conventional upon arrival to which I answered no and after they had already drained my oil I was informed that they didn’t have any conventional oil. Then they couldn’t get the drain plug out of my transfer case and had the manager attempt to try. Before they did any more damage I told them to forget it. I never asked to have my transfer case checked to begin with. Upon arriving home I opened my hood to find out that while I was with the manager underneath of my truck the estranged tech had deliberately dripped oil all over the top of my motor. I could see his feet at the front of my truck while I was underneath of it with the manager. I had requested for them to fill my wiper fluid and they failed to do that as well. Very unprofessional and poorly handled by management who told me I must be in a pissy mood. If you care about your vehicle and want proper professional service I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.
I was happy that you smoothed things over but after getting home and opening the hood to discover oil ALL over the top of my engine cover and that being what sparked the whole controversy to begin with I thought your techs would have caught on to keep a rag in their hand to avoid making a mess as I had already stated. Further more this is not a drop or two but at least a dozen droplets and dribbled down the opposite side of the engine from the side where both the oil and the transmission dip stick are located as well as the oil fill spout. Also when you asked me if I wanted to upgrade from conventional and I declined. It was at that point that you should have stated to me that you didn’t have conventional oil at that time but instead you failed to mention that so why would I pay extra for something I didn’t ask for? That was your bad. Also I have been bringing my truck to that lube stop location for the entirety of the years I have owned it and I have the stack of receipts to prove it. So the only techs that have touched that fill plug on the transfer case were employees at this location. Every 4 wheel drive Chevrolet truck has that cross member as it connects the torsion bars to the front end of the truck. You guys being vehicle techs should know that but instead were reluctant to agree and almost sparked another argument which I chose not to engage in. Bottom line here I strongly believe that your vindictive employee deliberately came back and dribbled oil all over the top of my engine while I was underneath of the vehicle with you. I’m sure your shop must have camera’s. Have a look or perhaps I should contact your service manager and have him look into the issue. Very unprofessional and pour customer service. Which you the manager stated to me that “customer service does not exist any more”. Once again your lack of diligence and disrespect from your employees has left me no other recourse here. Pretty sad how a simple request got so blown out of proportion.

Very impressed with the professionalism of the team. They went above and beyond explaining some issues I had and rectifying them at no charge. Highly recommend.

So, we were travelling to Calgary and our tire got flattened near Lacombe. We had spare tire and tried to remove the flattened one however due to corrosion and rust, it was not coming out. Since it was a weekend, no car repair shop picked the call but when we called Lube Tyres, Zach picked the call immediately, heard our situation and he asked us to just send our location. To our luck, he drove all the way from his shop for about 15 km, got our tire fixed and when asked about charges, he said NO CHARGE. He showed his humanity by going above and beyond by coming to help us selflessly. Otherwise, in this kind of emergency, people usually charge almost double but he didn’t charge us anything. So highly recommended to go there and render their services. Best wishes to Lube Stop & Tire.

So the other day, I changed the oil in my Mazda myself like I’ve done for years now with never an issue. Well, for some reason, the oil plug decided to leak a bit as I noticed the next day. It needed a new crush washer which I didn’t install as I’ve reused them before with no issues. So it was leaking, I didn’t have more oil and though it may be the filter as a potential as well. I figured I’d take it in to these guys here in Lacombe. This is 1 day after I did my oil change. I told them what went on and if they needed to charge me for a complete oil change then go ahead. I just needed it fixed. They looked at it once we got it set up, they decided to save the oil as best they could, install a new gasket washer and fill it back up. They said they’d only charge for any oil top up. To which they didn’t have to do at all. So in the end, they said they’d charge me for the washer and any labor. They didn’t even do that, charged me $2.10 for the washer and that’s it. Well, that is professionalism right there. Totally my fault and mistake for the issue at hand to my car and they made it right and didn’t gouge me to fix my mistake. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs to go there. I definitely will be back for them to do the oil changes moving forward when needed on my vehicles instead of me messing around with it. They’ve earned my business and should have yours as well. Thanks a ton guys! Much appreciated.

These guys went above and beyond. A small clip was broken on my air filter box in the process of changing it, and they left no stone unturned until they could find one. It did not go unnoticed and they treated my car as if it was their own. I will be coming back for sure.

Ignore any negative reviews. The manager here is a great guy and always top notch service. Very knowledgeable and decent prices. Definitely the best place in Lacombe for a quick tire swap! Won't go anywhere else now!

Very unimpressed …
Had an appointment booked, showed up a couple minutes late because of roads, and they had given my appointment away - to a guy who didn’t even have an appointment, he just drove in! - when they had told me before that they were fully booked so how does that work!? No fore warning when I booked the appointment that if I’m late they’ll give my spot away, no phone call asking me if I was still coming, no forgiveness because of the road conditions this morning. Seriously unimpressed, absolutely zero customer service in that respect. Will not go back and will not ever recommend to anyone.

The service at this place is second to none. Wyatt and Carter blew my mind. If you need any work done at all, this is the place and these guys are top shelf.

Tried to upsell injector cleaner and other things that I really didn't need at the time but the oil service was fast and courteous.

I would like to give a 5 star shout out to Carter Glasgow and the crew at the Lube Stop in Lacombe for their exceptional customer service.

A couple weeks back I was looking to get new winter tires installed before a work trip to Calgary and of course no one was able to help me out until after my trip. I have been to Lube Stop previously for oil changes and tire swaps and repairs so I thought I would give them a call and I’m glad I did.

I called for a quote on a Thursday morning and was told that If I ordered them on time they would be able to install them the next day. The price was a little more than some of the other places I had called that could do them the next week and I was waiting for a quote from another shop so I hummed and hawed for a bit. After deciding that the immediacy of the tires out-weighed the cost I called back that afternoon to order the tires. Of course I called just past the order deadline but Carter sprung into action to make sure that the tires could still be ordered and that they would indeed make it to Lacombe for the next day before they and called me back right away to confirm. Lube Stop works on a first-come-first-served basis but that he would he would call me the next day as soon as they came in so I could head to the shop to get them installed.

The next day, Carter, knowing I was waiting for his call, checked into the status of the tire delivery and called me by 10am to confirm that they would be in by late afternoon and although they stop doing tire installs at 4: 30pm they would stay late if needed to be sure I had my new winter tires on before my trip to Calgary.

This totally surprised me! Not only was Carter proactive in making sure I wasn’t waiting all day for his call he was also truly concerned that I had my tires on before my trip even though it would make him and his crew late on a Friday after a long week of first snows and winter tire madness!

In the end, the tires made it to Lacombe a little early and the crew at Lub Stop were not only able to get my tires installed they also made time to install the tires on my husbands truck and we are supper thrilled with the service we have received from the Lube Stop in Lacombe!

I cannot say enough about how happy I am with Carter’s customer service! He truly cared that I had what I needed when I needed it. Not only with the tires and the install but also in making sure I wasn’t waiting by the phone for him to get back to me. He did exactly what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. This is rare in this day and age. Someone who does not want to waste your valuable time while truly caring for the customer.

I would also like to mention that this is all while adhering to strict Covid-19 protocols which Carter and the crew take very seriously in keeping everyone involved protected.

Well done everyone! See you all again soon!

Kinda what you would expect. Relatively quick, however the staff cracked part of my air filter housing and told me it was already broken.

The staff was fine, however the cost is 40 dollars higher than what I pay in Three Hills. They had limited oil selection, I wasn’t able to do semi-synthetic which is what I always put in my CHEVY MALIBU. They said for my type of car they didn’t have anything but full synthetic. They also had to get the delivery of the oil filter from Napa. I rarely am this disturbed, but their 10 minute oil change into 20 plus they were going to charge extra for washer fluid, which normally included.

The staff convinced my daughter to have unnecessary work done which is a good learning experience for her. Thank you Lube stop Lacombe. The problem is the work was completed incorrectly. Not sure the staff know the difference between a coolant reservoir and and washer fluid reservoir. When a radiator is sent out extremely low or possibly empty, that's a problem.
