Friday night date night. Decided to try Luisa Risto, hadn't been in a long time. Food was amazing. We started with the mussels. Hubby had the lasagna and I had the daily special. Everything was delicious and prices are very resonable. Service was also great. We will definitely be going back.

Quality italian restaurant, excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Surprisingly large portions, tremendous value.

Just brought our 2 year old. Was scared to bring her to a nice place like this, as you’re worried she’s not going to like it and the atmosphere. Wrong on both fronts. She loved the food, and the staff were great at making recommendations and accommodating us.

Would give more stars if I could.

We were recommended to try this restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine. The food was phenomenal and so was the service from one of the owners, Ed. 100% recommended.

Really bad service and the manager is unprofessional they have over 10 tables and acted like they so busy and can’t find a seat for us and yes I don’t recommend at all

Bad management the manager acted like they have full booking and once we got in put us in bad locations and we ask to change tables they say the table is reserved

The food is very high quality, and the flavors are so nice! They're subdued but very complex at the same time. I recommend trying out the new menu items whenever they come out!

I really enjoyed coming here when it was dark out, as the interior lighting/decor really shines. The seating was nice, and the service was excellent.

I Have had both the privilege of working in and the pleasure of dining in this establishment and I can say with confidence there really is no equal to the food, staff and professionalism that this restaurant demonstrates. The owners are some of the hardest working people I have ever met and the food is made with love and care for every single person that walks through those doors. It really speaks volumes when you see the passion inside the kitchen and not just in the dining area as I did. So please, the next time you are looking for amazing food in a great atmosphere consider supporting something really special like this local gem.

Was celebrating my birthday and my brother's birthday with a bunch of family. Made a reservation, and they had two personalized birthday cards for us on the table when we arrived! It was so sweet. Everyone loved their food (especially the lamb shank special) and the staff were great. Some of the best customer service I've experienced at a restaurant. Loved the decor and the vibe in general. Will definitely be going back!

The atmosphere was amazing, waiters were such gentlemen, waitresses were courteous, their bruschetta was absolutely devine and their main course was delicious and filling. It's absolutely spotless in the restaurant and has got to be one of the cleanest restaurants I've been too.

Luisa has been one of my family's favorite restaurants for a very long time and I can confidently say everything on the menu is excellent as we have tasted it all. Arguably the best place in Edmonton and area to get authentic Italian food. Service is second to none and the relaxing, friendly atmosphere makes the experience memorable. Great place for delicious pasta! The atmosphere is warm, servers are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, and the food came out piping hot within 15 minutes! Will definitely be coming back.

Authentic Italian restaurant. Service was genuine and attentive. Food was amazing! Referred people already. If you order the lasagna you better be hungry! Haha Everything we ordered was delicious! Even the drinks! Definitely a can't miss if you want authentic Italian food!

We had dinner here before a performance at the Arden. Our server was Rena (sp?). Aside from the food being great, I just want to say what a phenomenal gem you have in her. She was professional, poised and so knowledgeable. While it was quite busy, she gave us the perfect amount of attention during our meal. I will be back based both on the quality of the food and the incredible service we received. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

What a gem! My wife and I chose Luisa after checking out the menu online and decided to spend our rare date night (sans children) here. What a wise choice it was! We were ravenous, so we started with the bread plate, bruschetta, and arancini. All was so fresh, flavourful and so so good. For dinner we had the lasagna and cannelloni. I'd heard rumours about the monstrosity of the lasagna portion, and they proved correct. It was massive! I couldn't count the layers. Don't assume it was "quantity" over "quality" either.it was fantastic. I had to save half for tomorrow, very much looking forward to those leftovers. My wife had the cannelloni and was generous enough to share a bite.mouthwatering as expected.

We cut ourselves off nice and early so we could enjoy dessert, and ordered the cheesecake to share. You guessed it.amazing. Delectable. Delicious.

Highly, highly recommend. The atmosphere was perfect for our quiet date, but I also wouldn't hesitate to bring our foodie kids either, as I'm positive they would love it as well. Thanks Luisas for a great evening!

Wow who knew the “Italian” we were making during Covid actually wasn’t that good? This place is amazing, the service is second to none. We used to drive to downtown Edmonton for great Italian, not anymore.
The cannelloni comes highly recommended by us!

Incredible Italian food, a lovely atmosphere and impeccable service! We went here for the first time tonight close to closing time and were welcomed in by the owner Ed. We had the mushroom tortellini and carbonara and both dishes were amazing. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. Service was second to none- attentive and friendly with great recommendations. The restaurant itself is elegant while still being cozy and making you feel at home. We will definitely be back.

If you like Italian food, this is the place to go. Food is out of this world, generous portions, cozy atmosphere, great service. The owners, Ed and Cindy make you feel right at home. A must try.

Had a fabulous meal of pork cheeks, this weekend's special. The chef, Miguel is always great at accommodating my gluten free diet-perfectly prepared vegetables & tomato sauce instead of rosé.

This was our 1st time at this Italian Restaurant and it was amazing. Our server was friendly and very helpful with suggestions on what to have. We had mushroom soup, Ceasar salad, brushetta and Magherita pizza. The soup was the best I have ever tasted, the dressing on the salad was perfection, the brushetta was very tasty and the pizza.well I will never go back to the big franchise pizza place again. Will definitely be returning to try everything on the menu. You must try this local restaurant.
